that was a scene from Wayne's new unsed series Wayne Brady the family remix what is going on there man I just that's my daughter Miley I'm I she this show is called Wayne Brady the family remix and and in a nutshell the show came about that we had a couple sitcom deals to to write about our family I am best friends with the woman that is standing next to me her her name is Mandy Mandy is my ex-wife okay we were together for years and then we got divorced then we had Miley and then she met Jason that young fell right there who's not my son and I say that because some people on Tik Tok are like look at you dance with your son that's a grown ass man but is not my son so that's her life partner okay Jason used to be one of my dancers in my Vegas show okay so they get together after we get divorced so no fun funny business so now we are a blended family during the pandemic we live together and people like you're still friends with your ex we don't understand that it's like look if I loved you once then and you are the mother of my child unless we had some hardcore stuff go down between us I'm always going to love you and I'm going to show my daughter how it is to treat you and I'm on your team and Mandy she is r or die she is team Wayne all day I've known her since she was 19 and I was 23 and yes she moved to LA with a random black dude who told her I'm going to take care of you and we're going to make our dreams come true and that's what we opted to do but we're going to do it this way this isn't the way that we thought it would be in our minds but it's the way that it was supposed to be and so now we're spreading our message dur during the pandemic we started doing all these videos the videos blew up folks are like how is it that you can remain friends and we started giving couples and and friendship advice and and that's how it started and now we have this show where we give people an insight into our lives and I'm an insanely private person so we even cover things like you know I a a year and a little bit ago I think I I I talk to the world about being being pansexual and and what and what did that mean I didn't know what it meant and all that stuff and and so there are things in the show that I'm sharing that uh it's it's scary but I'm at a place in my life where you know I'm I'm 52 now where I've got a serious case of I don't give a damn what you think think about me yeah it's an illness it's a real illness I wake up every morning like my business
