MemryX at TSMC Innovation Zone

hi my name is Keith cresen I'm the CEO of memor X memor X develops a high performance silicon for Edge AI uh one of the key value propositions of memory acts is of course Edge AI power performance is extremely important but also important for AI as ease of use a lot of times you see the order of magnitude benefit over something like a GPU but Aji accelerators are much more difficult to use models have to be tuned for this specific silicon what memor X does is in addition to having excellent Hardware has a very simple software stack so even an individual can get AI models up and running in less than an hour so our our EDI silicon can run a large number of models um we can run out of the box more than a thousand different models uh we support multiple os's multiple systems as an edge AI accelerator and we're very flexible in running all sorts of different models but are primarily focuses on uh processing video streams we have a data flow architecture we use app memory Computing and we fit in a variety of applications ranging between 1 and 10 watts yeah so right now um this is the product it's our MX3 AI accelerator we have four different MX3 chips on a single m.2 card so this m.2 card is in a PC system and it's currently running a number of uh models actually six models uh using media pipe to detect uh both Face Body pose and hand gestures so we can run any number of models on any number of chips all seamless with software and this is our MX3 we've done two uh test chips with tsmc and now we're ready for production so Memorex was founded in 2019 so approximately 5 years ago the entire time memory X has been engaged with tsmc tsmc has been a great partner all the way from the R&D stage all the way to right now we're entering the production stage uh I've worked in semiconductors for more than 25 years I've had a lot of experience with tsmc and there is no question that if we wanted to use a a leading Foundry partner tsmc was it so we've implemented a very dense amount of processing very low power uh excellent support from tsmc and we're on tsmc now and we'll be moving to tsmc for our next Generation products [Music]
