Pure KAOS: Jeff Goldblum & Janet McTeer Serenade Us!

you two in here are brilliant like what a power pairing um Jeff for Ze did he did inspiration strike from anywhere external or was it all from your own mind I used my imagination and the inspiration when I was with the great Jan mcer playing with her it gives you everything that anyone would need for anything but Charlie cell is so brilliant wrote that show end of the effing world is so brilliant and wrote a script that had something profound and Darkly hilarious in it very moving and I think an important idea in it and a character that was complicated charismatic and cruel and and uh Rich so um that's where I got my character from but the idea is that when somebody abuses power are there right thinking people around to stop that and and and make a change uh Janet you are playing this wonderfully sexually empowered woman uh in here like how much fun is it to play a character like that on screen opposite Jeff as well oh it was amazing I mean he's just brilliant for a start we know that brilliant you are and also we had such fun and we worked very well together so we giggled a lot we worked a lot we threw it around a lot we riffed with it whilst then coming back to the brilliant brilliant script that Charlie wrote and you know it always starts with the script you you know if if the script isn't good enough then you're just making something good that isn't good and the script was fantastic but also what was amazing about CH is that we we sort of as we went along Charlie worked with what we gave as well so I think the dynamic between our characters change between us our relationship changed because of what we brought to it together I think and uh because uh we had such fun and um we can as you see go head to head which not many people can with Mr well look look at us I mean I couldn't do it look at me down here I couldn't do that so that was kind of fun and uh yes and uh playing here was just I mean dream she she's a dream part I hear there was a lot of singing I know everyone's going to ask you this what kind of singing was going on on set all kinds of singing singing singing always all the time singing singing everybody's singing as we go we're on the upward Trail we're every day all the time days and days and days we just spent singing it it's great kept us up it kept us happy what a difference a day makes 24 little hours of the day I don't make me say I can't compete with you I can't compete with you um tell me though are you anything you can do I can do better I can do anything better than you no you can't yes I can no you can't yes I can no you can't yes I can yes I can yes I can there we go we got the duet we got the duet tell me though if you two were Gods as Janet and Jeff what kind of gods would you be cuz obviously Zeus is very vengeful in this so what kind of gods would you two be in real life in real life in my real life I live in the middle of the woods and the thing I struggle with the most I know this is ridiculous it's quite pathetic is I cannot bear to see little animals that die on the roads and I can't bear to see animals that aren't loved I would in my next life apart from being prime minister or indeed president of virtually anywhere I would like to um rescue animals except I'd cry too much but that's what I'd like to do in my next life I'd like to have a huge huge huge huge huge farm and rescue any animal that needed a bit of love the caring Gods how about yeah how about you Jeff I would be enjoy being part of her regime as any as her you could come and play the piano and settle them all down I would be your court jester or musical uh entertainment whenever you wanted and as for myself I would support in any way I could your benevolence and acts of kindness toward every creature on this miraculous planet and and every that includes Homo sapiens too if they could get along and and behave themselves and clean up their mess that would be if you if you directed me to do so song I guess yes we all we ruled the world every day just have to say um to be fair you are a God to many already Jeff like he is you are he is a god already I'm a humble student no there's a lot of people that like I want to live in the world where Jeff Goldblum is God like absolutely he sort of already is yeah you are you have to just accept it like the man the myth the legend is literally describes you it just on the day that I was born the Angels got together and decided to create a dream come true there will be music fing the world and just tell me before you go season two they I know that they haven't announced anything yet but what would you like to see for your characters if there was a season two cuz I feel like it needs one like I very much want one well uh I'm not sure if you can say anything about that really what you would like not necessarily going to happen I I think I'm going to have to pass on that question because I think it would be too I think it would give away too much I'm already thinking about I'm going to skip season two all I'm already thinking all the way to season 14 we're going to run longer than Bonanza in season 14 and 60 Minutes yes and in season 14 you what what am I doing in season I have some good ideas but they're musical There You Go the music it's going to be a musical I would expect nothing less nothing less uh guys thank you so much for just I mean being serenad by
