position that could be exactly that a League winner let's get right to it and let's start at quarterback all right Chris let's hear it you know there's a first year starter last year who threw for 4100 yards and 32 touchdowns and now is in an offense that is absolutely just loaded with Talent all around him has a great coaching staff all around him and is ready to absolutely explode in your two and no I'm not talking about CJ strad I know that's who you thought I was talking about but I'm not I'm actually talking about Jordan love who was better than CJ strad last year and arguably has more weapons than CJ strad this year he has four Bonafide number one wide receivers he has two very good young tight ends he has a very good running back still in the prime of his career yet for some reason CJ strout is drafted as a top five QB Jordan love not even drafted as a top 10 QB you can get this guy five six rounds later than CJ Stout and in fact in some leagues some of your you know more casual leagues no one's even going to draft Jordan love why is everybody so high on CJ Stroud but not Jordan love and look I'll be honest for much of the off season I wasn't really that high on Jordan love but when I looked into it a little more I said wait a minute Jordan love Is Just CJ Stroud slightly better but at a huge discount so give me all the Jordan love this year and you can't even say CJ stad has the rushing Edge over him because CJ strad doesn't run 167 rushing yards last year so I really think if you don't want to take an elite QB and you're just willing to punk QB I think Jordan love will be just fine as your qb1 I think he has just as much if not more upside than any non-russian QB in fantasy football this year and you get him very late in your drafts if he's even drafted at all I like the way you're thinking and that's exactly what I have in mind in fact I have a first year quarterback who is ready to explode has great weapons look we see this all the time with a quarterback who is drafted outside the top 12 emerge as a top fantasy option so this year the trendy pick is Jaden Daniels because he's going to be this year CJ strad right the number two quarterback taken how about the number one quarterback Caleb Williams look we're overthinking this just because last year it was the second quarterback that this year it's going to be the second quarterback no got Cole K very good receiving tight end he's got one of the best pass catching running backs out of the backfield in DeAndre Swift I mean this is a dream for any quarterback and it's perfect setup for a rookie quarterback and I know that any top pick is going to be scrutinized they're going to try to nitpick and find things wrong with Caleb Williams let's remember what's right about Caleb Williams he has one of the strongest arms he can make the throws that other quarterbacks just can't On The Run seems to be he's even better when he's out of the pocket sounds a lot like a guy that was also overlooked a couple of years ago and Pat Mahomes Caleb Williams is going to be a lot more hyped up of course but it seems like people are wanting to draft Jaden Daniels instead of Caleb Williams I get the rushing upside I get that kale Williams isn't really a running quarterback he's not going to need to run and look he's plenty athletic he can still run and scramble and get some yards but here's what worries me with JD he gets sacked a whole lot like he did in college and Washington's got one of the worst offensive lines out there and so this pick a lot of potential reward but also a lot lot of risk I don't feel that risk with Caleb Williams he's set up to succeed and I really believe he will so again don't think too hard don't feel like this isn't too obvious of a pick and Caleb Williams is going to be great as a rookie and he's being drafted not even in the top 12 as far as quarterbacks go all right you need a These Tight Ends Will Win Fantasy Football Leagues In 2024 tight end you want one that's going to carry your team all season long who you think it'll be I think it's going to be Pat Frou this year obviously there's some earlier you know tight ends going earlier I like but I think he's that late round tight end that we see come out of nowhere every single year and has a great season in fantasy and is truly a League winner you look at this Pittsburgh offense it sounds very unlikely at this point that Brandon auk is coming that means George Pickens clearly the number one wide receiver but who's number two here well I think it might be Pat firemouth to be honest and look at the way tight ends have been used in the evil Arthur Smith's offenses either as offensive coordinator as or as a head coach every year except 2020 in Tennessee the tight end position has gotten at least a 19% Target share in an Arthur Smith offense the last three years in Atlanta it was 27% 26% and 34% those are Elite Target share numbers now that's all tight ends combined but it still shows that Arthur Smith will utilize a tight end skyt was a former tight ends coach by the way also look at the average depth of Target for the tight end one for Arthur Smith the last three years in Atlanta with Kyle pittz 10 yards 13 yards and 11 yards again these are Elite wide receiver type numbers Travis Kelce never once in his career has reached a 10 yard average depth of Target right now Pat fouth is a complete afterthought in drafts in your typical one tight end you know 12 team fantasy leagues he's not even being drafted if I don't get one of the elite early tight ends I am totally fine just completely punting the position waiting till my last pick and grabbing Pat FR M I think it could be this year's David and joku you know this tight end that comes out of nowhere and wins people fantasy leagues we see it every year there is a tight end that comes out of nowhere and does it I think this year it's Pat fouth well if I'm going to grab an elite tight end who isn't being drafted as an elite tight end I'm going for Dalton concade look I agree MTH could be the number two target there in Pittsburgh Dalton Cade I think he going to be the number one Target and the number one receiver by Year's End in Buffalo that's saying something right tight ends don't often lead their team in receiving why can't he because Stefon Diggs took his 160 targets and went to Houston he's gone and he was replaced by a rookie who sure he's got the talent but I have questions about the Readiness the NFL Readiness and of course the chemistry is not there yet with Josh Allen and then I mean guys who are solid I I like Curtis Samuel but is he really an alpha has he ever been a guy who's LED his team in targets no and then khil Shakir look dalon k is going to be the go-to for Josh Allen over and over again there are plenty of targets to spare and I know a lot of people don't realize this D Kade was drafted before Sam lorta he was considered just as good a prospect if not better by a lot of Scouts dton Cade has every bit as much talent and now an even better opportunity than Sam leapor who was last year's tight end one because he doesn't have Aman rossan Brown to fend for targets with and I think it's safe to say Josh Allen just as good maybe a little better than Jared gof I mean come on dalon Kade is almost a no-brainer and he's being drafted choices who are you pinning your hopes on as a league winning receiver I'm pinning my hopes on Terry mclen of the Washington commanders we got a glimpse of what the Terry mclen Jaden Daniels deep ball connection is going to look like no like we didn't see Terry McClaren in that first preseason game but we saw jayen Daniels throw an absolute 40-yard dime to diami Brown showing off what I've been talking about all offseason Jaden Daniels incredible deep ball thrower he's going to to be very accurate on those deep balls and when you look at Terry mcloren last year he ranked eighth in deep ball targets 13th in total air yards among all wide receivers yet only had the 27th most receiving yards in the NFL because thanks so much Sam how and look if it wasn't for weeks 15 and 16 when jacobe brassett actually played it would have been worse for Terry mclen because he had his only 100 yard game with jacobe brassette and combined for almost 200 yards in those games you take those games out it would have been a terrible year for Terry mclen last year but now he gets Jaden Daniels a truly great deep ball thrower already it's not like this guy's going to have to develop it it is there already from day one we could see Terry McClaren Unleashed in this offense deep vertical shots over and over again in this offense and look behind them it's not really clear who the number two is I I want to believe it's Johan doson but he had some really weird usage in that preseason game like playing deep you know with the players and things like I don't even know if the commanders know who the true number two is but it doesn't matter cuz Terry mclen is the obvious clear-cut number one target he's going to get fed a ton of targets they're going to connect on those deep shots and we are finally going to see Terry McClaren fully Unleashed I think he's going to be one of those wide receivers that you get in the middle you know kind of fifth sixth round of your fantasy drafts that has the potential to be a top 15 wide receiver this year and help you win a fantasy Championship well I know we've talked a lot about Deontay Johnson this offseason let's do it one more time because to me this is just a very obvious League winning Pick as a receiver who's going to be a Target magnet in Carolina this is a player we've talked about a whole lot and for good reason he is not only going to be the clear number one receiver in Carolina he has almost zero competition for targets there and I mean that because look Adam thielen was force fed last year just out of sheer necessity because that's the only guy who's getting open for Bryce young and this offense just couldn't figure out anything else to do so now well Jony Johnson's only competition is Adam thean who's another year older and Jonathan Mingo honestly looking like a bust at this point he was drafted too early as is Xavier leet maybe will develop into a reliable receiver at some point but looks like he's still got some work to do Deontay Johnson is one of the most effective receivers at getting open if you've ever looked at his reception perception profile it's just basically full of green which means he is always open no matter what route he runs he will be a godsend to Bryce young he can finally throw it to receiver he knows can catch it in stride and get open against any type of coverage and of course this offense will be better just from the fact that they have a new coaching staff we know the Miracles that Dave Canales worked last year with Baker Mayfield let some one of Mike Evans best years ever and he's going to probably do the same for Deontay Johnson all right These Running Backs Win Fantasy Football Leagues In 2024 know you've been waiting for a running back so here it is declare your RB League winner well when I look for a league winning running back there are three things I look for I look for Touchdown upside I look for pass catching upside and I look for that Talent you know explosive ability the guy that checks all those boxes the non obvious guy of course that checks all those boxes to me is Isaiah Pacho touchdown upside uh yeah I think this is a pretty easy check here we know this Chiefs offense is going to score a zillion touchdown definitely has touchdown upside what about pass catching upside I was worried about that last year he caught 44 passes not bad there but I think he could go 50 plus this year Jerick McKinnon is gone and when Andy Reid was asked who was going to fill that third down Jerick McKinnon role the first guy he mentioned was Isaiah Pacho to do it so I think we could see Pacho go 50 plus catches which is enough and then of course comes the talent explosiveness part this guy had a 999 percentile speed score runs like a madman had the 11th most Breakaway runs last year yeah he checks all of those boxes and it might sound weird to hear this but he's actually going to be in a better offensive situation because even though we're used to the Chiefs being the best or one of the best offenses in the NFL with Patrick Mahomes they were not last year they were middle of the pack they were not a very good offense last year but they've addressed the offensive issues they're going to be one of the best offenses again they're going to lead the NFL or be close to it in terms of offensive touchdowns offensive yards per game all those stats that that lead to tons and tons of fantasy points and Isaiah PCO is going to be the clear number one workhorse running back in this offense now he has seen his ADP go up usually you have to take him in the second round of fantasy drafts these days but you know what I'm still doing it I think this guy has true League winning potential well several weeks ago we did our early preseason League winners guys we thought could carry the load I said Derrik Henry in Baltimore was going to be that guy and I still feel that way but what if you can get a running back a couple rounds later who could produce similar maybe even better fantasy stats I'll take it and now I'm firmly Allin on Kenneth Walker now I've been all in on this Seattle offense basically the entire off season you know I said jsn could be a breakout this year I came around on DK MF being a potential League winner at receiver a guy I can't stop drafting now and I am even more Allin on Kenneth Walker because I've always been a fan of Walker he's just one of those guys who has that Breakaway ability you know he has that home run hitting ability those long runs you know what I'm talking about he can score from anywhere on the field the only thing with him in Fantasy is he just wasn't much of a pass catcher and now all of a sudden he could be a pass catcher because they are coming out and saying they love his ability as a receiver of the back field and this is again a new coaching staff which is a large reason why I'm in on the Seattle offense and so they're going to use him differently they're not going to going to pigeon hole him as just an early down back and you know what we've heard about Zack shanet this preseason not much I can't remember the last time we heard him talked up or used any certain way this is not going to be a one-two punch this feels like this is Walker's backfield and shs is just there so while you might feel like sharet is a great value a great handcuff I don't really see him being a big part of this team's plans I'm not completely dismissing him but Walker is not only going to be the lead Runner he's going to catch passes that's going to see his value sore and of course if this whole offense just takes off this year under new coaching staff you're going to want a piece of their number one running back so I really feel like Kenneth Walker is worth it this guy remember broken tackle rate of 25% last year only Jaylen Warren had higher in that sense he has that big playability that you crave and now he's got the receiving ability that's finally going to get utilized to boot look at those running backs could League winners but could they be the overall rb1 in fantasy well let's find out these are the only running backs we think could do that
