Final Thoughts Before the Apple Event! // "Is It Enough?"

[Music] so we are less than a week away from the Apple iPhone event and I have a few small concerns with the event coming up more so to do with the iPhone and less to do really with the Apple watch and possibly new airpods I'm not going to talk about what we could expect from seeing from the iPhone 16 because we already done a video about that and I'm not going to go on talking about really the rumors and stuff about the new Apple watch which could be cool but more or less just my thoughts on the whole event coming up and maybe what we could see and why I feel that this could be maybe one of the more I wouldn't say disappointing but underwhelming Apple events we've seen in a while now don't get me wrong it's still going to be a great event Apple always does a really good job with these events and I'm still very excited for the new iPhone Apple watch and airpods but starting off with the iPhone the main big release for this as we've discussed in previous rumors about what we could see it's obvious it's going to be some simple changes like the camera and the action button and also the size of the phone which I know the action button is not really simple it's kind of cool but the size of the phone will bring a new screen resolution which I do feel will be the biggest screen resolution change we've seen since the iPhone 13 Pros with the 120 hertz refresh rate but I just don't think those things are really going to be enough to maybe push the iPhone to where it needs to be but I also don't think that's a bad thing I think Apple's found kind of a sweet spot with a lot of their products that they sell no matter what and like the saying goes if it's not broken then why fix it I know we all want to see a whole redesign but in reality a redesign of the phone doesn't take away from the fact they would still be upgrading the camera the screen the size all those things those things would still be within the iPhone regardless of design change or not we just kind of want something that looks a bit newer I guess it's kind of maybe where we're coming from but at the end of the day the iPhone isn't actually broken it works just fine and it does what it needs to do with a whole new redesign that does require the company like apple to have to go and figure out how they can refit some of these components in there because it changes the design of the phone internally as well with fitting everything in now that that's a big deal every company does it and for the most part it be quite similar but it's just an added factor and like I've said before I think the iPhone 17 is probably going to be where we see a whole redesign change and that'll be its biggest feature for that year I do think that the screen resolution that we could be getting on the iPhone 16s will also be something quite nice they're supposedly adding in the thinnest bezels of any smartphone which is really exciting but again these are things that are every year updates that we see from other manufacturers like Samsung and Google yeah maybe they update their phone design a little more frequently but Apple's concept behind everything is that they really want everything to work their big upgrade this year was really iOS 18 with their software that's kind of where they made the most changes and allowing us to customize and change things as much as we want as much as I would like to see a redesign and maybe going back towards the iPhone 10 look I don't think it's really necessary and I don't feel that it's really going to take away from the features of bringing forward regardless I think if they really wanted to hit it out of the park maybe just make all your cameras 48 megapixels add in a better telephoto lens I guess considering that most phones these days are really about the cameras than anything else so as underwhelming as the iPhone relas might be I don't think it's really a bad thing I think these upgrades are going to be great and useful for those who want it and need it I just don't think it's going to be the big wow kind of factor that we have gotten before in the past especially when the iPhone 10 came out that was pretty exciting and we've kind of hdden a bar or a peak with most phones these days as is but where we could see some changes is with the Apple watch now this would Mark the 10th anniversary for the Apple watch and everyone's kind of talking about 10th anniversary Apple watch looking like the iPhone 10 when it was out I don't know if that's what we're going to see it's hard to tell I do think there will be a redesign for this I think we've been due for one for a while I think everything's been pretty minor for updates as far as like just some simple Health features here and there it would be nice to have a longer battery I'm sure we'll see a better screen resolution and I'm sure they'll make the screen go right to the edge with even thinner bezels than we already have at the end of the day it is a watch so they only really do so much and for us I only really want it to do so much considering I have my phone but maybe we'll see something a little more Square than before but to be fair I kind of do like the design of the Apple watch as is I like how from previous ones I can keep changing my bands as is as well so with the new Apple watch and if they redesign it are the bands going to fit that fit now or is it going to be a whole different band game I know also see probably a new Apple watch SE I don't think they'll change that one and I'm also interested to see that with the Apple Watch series 10 if they'll keep that design kind of the same as this like back when they did the iPhone 8 release they did said they had one more thing with the iPhone 10 maybe able to do that here and they'll have an Apple Watch series 10 but then they'll have like a special edition 10th anniversary where it's like some different whole new design change that they'll Carry On from then forward that's kind of what I'm hoping for the rumors are speculating that that could be the case with a whole new redesign but a lot are also speculating not this one I think has been quite more hush than the iPhone rumors so this is kind of something we'll have to see come time of the event the last thing that they might announce it's not a guarantee is probably the airpods and more specifically the airpods Pro 3 airpod 3 Pros Pro 3s I don't know something like that but they will release new ones and I'm interested to see what they're going to do with that because these are already pretty good as is these are the first generation ones and the noise cancellation is great on them and I know they get better with the second generation overall again what can you really do with something this small I know people want to see like a screen on them but I don't think that's really necessary obviously it's going to be better noise cancellation you're going to have some better audio quality on there as well but I'm not sure what they can really do with the airpods as the they are just headphones like we've seen in previous years and as long as they play good sound and have good music playing on them and they noise cancel things that I want noise cancel cool I'm happy with that and I guess the battery that should last all day and then some so don't get me wrong I'm excited for the Apple event and I think they're going to do some really cool things and I still think this iPhone is going to be really good I just don't think it's going to be a wow factor that everyone kind of expects Apple's a company that really wants to make sure that everything actually works they do innovate to some extent some people have copi them with like the dynamic Island I know some companies have kind of copied that and a lot of companies have copied just the form factor of the iPhone as is which we forget about because it's so good and every company also ends up putting the iPhone up to its comparisons with everything Samsung puts it up to comparison with iPhone Google puts up the comparison with iPhone uh Huawei does the same thing all these phones compare themselves with the iPhone which we have to remember because that's kind of the peak of phones is with the iPhones and I'm not saying they're the best phones I'm just saying that seems to be what every company is like almost striving for and even with their phone designs they've copied a lot of Apple's Hardware Designs as well as Apple has copy of software designs and vice versa companies just do that but Apple really wants to make sure these things work and they don't really want to release something new that doesn't really work I don't think they'll release a foldable phone um as we've seen some of those phones have not turned out to be the best with the screen resolution just kind of breaking on them and pixels going so I think if Apple ever did that it would be not for another a couple years cuz they really want to make sure these things work and I'm not saying iPhones always work but I am saying they really want to ensure that it lasts and that it again it works so I don't know let me know your guys' thoughts those are just my thoughts and uh
