[Music] welcome to Sportsline Friday night I'm Kevin B TC is sports director Jack duay fresh off his trip at Vegas you had a good time Jo I was very old and boring I've got nothing exciting to report from uh from that trip but we hopefully we have an exciting show for you tonight it's the regular season debut and we've got some new kids on the BL so to speak I did not see them those guys in Vegas but praireville is a brand new school and tonight they took the field for the first time and here they are rock you like the Hurricanes playing host to thrive this evening and uh you know Kevin a lot of schools they do the two-year acclamation period in junior varsity not praireville they're jumping right into it and right off the bat their defense makes a big play it is Stanton de la pass the the ball just kind of squirted away from the running back obviously a wet night there and Del a pass gets the recovery and then on the offensive side of things The Sweep to Taj Wallace so I guess this is historic right this is the first touchdown in praireville history and it's scored by Wallace seven to nothing pville and then they go to the air it is Charlie green to Parker faced I'm guessing a nice gain and then they're going to run the quarterback sneak it'll be green into the end zone for the score to make it 14 to nothing so the home team enjoying their debut so far in front of the fans got Turf out there and obviously tonight weather was a challenge everywhere you take a look at Daniel Williams on the sack it's picked up by Montreal Cleveland and Taj Wallace will find his way into the end zone again pville was leading 20 to nothing at the end of the first quarter on this touchdown run and the final score this evening as it appeared it was a very Victorious debut for the Hurricanes indeed 33 to nothing is your final score for head coach Mike Schmidt and Company all right congrats to praireville on the first win while that was the beginning for them we had to return in rosevale Northville their first varsity football game since 2008 as they hosted Central private pick it up on the first drive BJ malansa is going to get the end round makes a couple of guys miss and then turns up down the sideline before he is knocked out of Bounce at the two yd line almost got the touchdown but three plays later his quarterback Justice Roy is going to go in on QB sneak two-point conversion no good so six nothing Bears skip ahead to the second quarter that's when the Bears really turned it up malonso is going to give the pitch to Jeremy favorite and here he comes to the corner and he sneaks inside the pil line for a touchdown two-point conversion no good again so it's 12 nothing as the fans are enjoying themselves and then their Defense Forces a stop offense back at it and here comes Mel tucon Jr right up the middle and he is gone yep come on come on to the camera come on again come on and get your air time well more of your air time and Jackie said we're here we're here they're back we are back indeed back in back indeed and after Marcus Hill was honored they named the field in his honor the Bears got right back to it again as it's going to be Jaylen Mims gets the hand off and now he is G Off to the Races for the long touchdown that made it 28 nothing Central private rallied in the second half but the Bears hung onone for their first win 36 to 26 the final in that one and now let's go to our next game EA Easter against Brother Martin pick us up in the second half brother martin up 14-6 and they're going to throw the little tunnel screen and the running back bounces off some tacklers oh like a pinball oh they just can't get him down he's still going still going just carrying guys and he's going to score for the touchdown the Pat was missed 20 to6 that's a heck of a run right there but here comes the Spartans trying to Rally but that gets nowhere as that's just sniff out but here comes the Spartans again as they running back gets the end round and he is gone for the long touchdown the two-point conversion good make it 20 to 14 so he got a ball game in the fourth quarter but Brother Martin is going to put it away right here as they run a little play action for the first down that sets up a field goal 23 to4 Brother Martin and that ends up being the final so a tough one for East ension in that one all right uh I believe we now have our uh our promo if we can get that up in the telepromter Dr Pepper is teaming up with LSU linebacker Harold Perkins Junior to award one lucky Baton Rouge area high school senior football player with money towards tuition starting next week right here on Sportsline Friday night we will announce the player with the most quarterback sacks from the previous week that player will receive a signed football by Harold Perkins Jr each week Dr PPP will will contribute $1,000 for every confirmed sack made by Herold Perkins Jr to a tuition program designated for high school seniors in the Baton Rouge area at the end of the 2024 regular High School football season the senior high school defensive player with the most sacks will be awarded the haral Perkins Jr College tuition up to $10,000 for more information and to keep track of who's leading in Sachs visit DRP make thats sa.com okay we've got some rivalry games coming up Parkview and Dunham and bruly and Port Allen one of those games was close one of them certainly was not we'll be back in a moment welcome back to sports line Dunham taking on Park viw in the rematch of last year's second round playoff game this game was supposed to be at Dunham but because of the field conditions they moved at the park viw but that did not phase the Tigers here goes Elijah Haven as he tucks and runs and he is gone for the long touchdown run as done him strike first 6 nothing the Tigers defense got a stop so the top quarterback in the class of 2027 is right back at it Haven LOF one up to Jarvis Washington who climbs the ladder for the touchdown grab 13 to nothing Dunham rolling in this one them boys said they had it on their Minds when we talked to them over the summer third down for Parkview the Tigers get in the back field and sniff out Noah graes for the sack Joshua Lazar was the first man there on the ensuing possession Haven is going to nickel and dime his way through the defense into the end zone for the touchdown so I make it 20 to nothing and done we're still in the first quarter then on the next possession dun defense with another impressive sequence Harrison just gets all up in the back field detonates on the running back and then a third down for the Eagles grade is's going to drop back can't find anyone can't find anyone and he's going to take off before being dragged down by Trevor hayon Dunham allowed 39 points in the playoff loss last year far different story tonight folks and Haven just had himself a monster night dump off to Washington who Wiggles past the Eagles secondary for the second time 27 nothing DH him in the second quarter Haven added another score before halftime six total touchdowns in the first half for The Talented sophomore as the Tigers Leed 39 to nothing at the half and they have no problem getting some payback as we look at the final score in this one 46 to nothing dunam great start to the season Dunham looks nasty the quarterbacks a monster the wide receivers are monsters right woo man all right let's talk about the sugarcane classic they've been playing this for over 50 years we're talking about Port Allen and bruy this this evening first quarter senior Josiah Hogan at quarterback for bruly he takes the snap rolls right to find his wide receiver Cordell Oxley at the end of the first quarter but bruly Begins the second quarter with a costly turnover as Hogan fumbles on a QB keeper laran Burns falls on it for Port Allen to prevent a score Port Allen then on the attack wide receiver Caleb West takes the ball inside the 35 yd line after the quick out we're still 0 when senior Bren Gibson takes a Jet Sweep for a medium game but he's clobbered by Bru's Jude leer did did Jude clobber him let's take a look oh I think so he did deed him in the slop there to the ground Port Allen they have some penalties of their own after that play they end up way back forcing a punt later on it's third down and Port Allen has the ball back but they are pinned deep in their own territory Steven Wesley wraps up Port Allen Gibson he has a helmet full full of mud to show for his effort at as he gets up story the night this will be you know stories they tell in the future this was uh not for for guys who wanted to stay clean this evening bruly crowd trying to urge their team to a first half score to break the tie but bruy is unable to do so Hogan rolls out he throws a wobbly ball that is picked off by Port Allen's Michael Harley it was a z00 game but I can tell you in the second half Darien Bennett had a 25 yard touchdown pass from Josiah Hogan I appreciate Walt Le Mo giving me that information and bruly wins by the final of seven to nothing in a great game remember last year this game had some tragedy to it good to see a happy finish and happy football game tonight one thing about the sugar can classic it will always be close all right T next game we go to livon Parish Denim Springs hosting Hammond yep there was a lot of fans doing that tonight first quarter snap goes over the head of Reginal Williams for a big loss so that's going to force Hammond to punt and there's not really many options to show these type of play unless bad things or good things happen touchdown turnover we got a turnover right there so Hammond that's one way to get a game Reginal Williams throws a pass to kinata Bitz in the end zone and they're going to get Jaden Washington for the pass interference and Zen Bennett is going to reap the benefits with a touchdown 7 nothing as Hammond strikes first and then in the second quarter Hammond is going to be back to punt again and it must have been the wet football so we have another snap that that goes over the puncher's head Vince Delaney is trying to turn nothing into something and he just goes out of bounds has to turn over on Downs yeah no lemon no lemonade with those lemons there no no none of that so Den trying to see if they can finally strike on the scoreboard as Jerry Horn's going to hit tylon Haynes in the end zone for the touchdown that ties it up at seven and that must have got Den Springs going the rest of the way because they went on to win this ball game by the final score of 19 to 14 good win for great beer in the company all right indeed Walker coming off a big season greatest season ever right they won 10 games last year reached the quarterfinals of the playoffs tonight they were taking on ponchatula petula's Braden parin a pass to get the team on the board there 22 to7 shot of the pon Tula ban there I guess Green Wave was an appropriate mascot on an even like this one but it looks like it was pretty dry out there of course they got Turf no rain falling at the moment kickoff then to Walker and it's Zion Russ and Zion is going to make a couple of moves and it doesn't look like the white jerseys are going to wrap him up we got one last shot but no Russ sprinting away from the pack and Walker leading 29 to7 at that point The Walker student section Wet n Wild having a good time out there this evening as well and in Pon Tula they have a hand off coming up to Jace Jackson it's a short gain but it takes an army to uh bring him down I guess we got a bit of a rugby scrub here push yeah they push they'll be talking about that in the Walker defensive meeting to Bow up a little bit quicker there but punch it to the quarterback Braden perin his pass is intended for Cory Jackson it's intercepted In The End Zone by Jonathan muso and muso would you know it is going to bring it back 100 just a little emoji on your phone there R all the way back 36-7 that score the score at that point and uh a very very happy debut for Walker they win 43 to4 all right folks we are just getting started on Sports Line Friday night we'll be right back after this all right St Michael and Episcopal this game was played at strawberry field it's South Eastern in Hammond Louisiana you look at Travis bgea there and Reed chauan this guy is a power lifter he'll pick you up and throw you a mile and right here he's into the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown the knights taking a 10 to nothing lead But Here Comes St Michael Deontay camell this guy used to be at McKinley now he's with the Warriors he had 80 yards on three carries including a long touchdown run right here so Episcopal leads 10 to six third quarter a 42 yd field goal by the knights number 42 Jacob ber they would lead 13-6 and then they would lead 15 to6 but in the fourth quarter St Michael recovers a fumble John Martinez punches it in so it's 15-13 Episcopal with 952 left to go in the game now they had a chance toh win it they throw it deep and the ball is going to be intercepted by Brody Bailey so pisc with Bailey's big defensive play at the end turns back St Michael and Hammond and they go on to Win It by the final of 15-13 what a game real good one right there all right let's come back a little closer as Zachary was hosting pament tonight at the Bronco Corral and Zachary really got out in running they L 20 to nothing and right here they're going to get more as Caleb Gonzalez sits Kristen Brooks for the touchdown they made that made it 35 to nothing so plaman trying to scratch as Tyrese Mosby gets the hand off and he breaks off before being brought down so that's going to set up the Green Devils in nice field position and then Nico Victorian is going to hand off to Moi again make it 35 to7 so hey that that prevents the shut out Blackman gets on the scoreboard and then their defense trying to do their part as well that pass is broken up that was almost six nice play right there by the DB and he paid the price but Zachary's defense also stood on business as Dylan shmay gets the quarterback strip sack and Zachary just had no troubles in this one as we look at the final score oh we got another play oh no play we got the final score guys no guess we'll come back okay there we are there we go 4914 Zachary in this with no problem for the brw crew all right let's uh talk about the Dutchtown Griffins playing host to Madison prep this evening and dutchtown's Dylan shampine the option champagne the option and uh he's tackled for a loss Madison prep number 27 uh 27 Alfred mcnight who did a nice sit down with our very own John eids takes a hand off a nice first down and the Chargers their Drive stall they're forced to punt it's a low snap Andre Gibson tries to make a play and it stopped short and the Griffin will take over on that special team's play late in the first half it's uh champagne who has waited all the way to his senior year to be a starter finds Owen Fletcher nice gain for a first down sets up a field goal by Dutchtown they LED three to nothing at the half let's uh take it look at our final score in this one this evening as in the second half Dutchtown was able to Sprint away from Madison prep 31-6 all right Santa and Catholic each had games against of other schools we will check on those games and some more games on Sports Line Friday night coming back Thursday night action the central Wildcats at dillow and David Simo and Company trying to beat the team that spoiled his debut last year Central battling adversity this week with three of its players impacted by a car accident Wednesday night the Wildcats without their starting quarterback and running back take you to the second half it's three to nothing Dill laau the Cavalier facing a third down Kaden Luke gets home on the blitz he shut down what looked like was a trick play so Luke Johnny on the spot nice job on the ensuing Drive Central offense comes alive after a slow start jakori Platt starting his first career varsity game completes a pass to Keithan walmac for a first down then early in the fourth quarter it's Fourth and goal for Central KD Mays takes the Wildcat snap and hands off to Steven reyell who fights over the goal line for the score seven to nothing Central later on Dillis Allen offense Evan Arseno those pass is tipped by his own receiver and intercepted by blaz and stoken stoken also blocked a punt earlier in the game so he was all over the place and Central Smothers delosa by the final of 14-3 in that one we will continue on wbxh and of course the entire Sportsline show is streamed online resilience in the face of adversity and uh you know Finding ways to to get it done Despite All Odds you know and uh just proud of them to be able to find a way to do that was doing it for five he T me last night he wanted me go get his jersey with his jersey so I went along with his jersey today and we bought out I was happy I look soon as I scor I looked to Jackson and Jackson was celebrating he like he was about to jump up and down but you know he can't really move his arm but yeah but yeah I was just happy I was happy I looked at Jackson you know let them know else for them you know what I'm saying got got in there scored the first T and we scored again all right wfb's John eids getting those interviews after the game Central had a car wreck this week hopefully all those young men will be okay and uh they got the victory did Central all right let's uh continue bird a team from Shor came on down tonight yeah they went on down to the pit the Santa Mar Gators hosting C bird like ja just said we're going to pick this up with bird making a big play already as Christin Maxi breaks the long run down the sideline and then Quinton Hillard is going to get the hand off and break off for the touchdown that increases the lead took a big pop right there but hey he scored the touchdown and he got up got flaged and his teammate stood behind him so yeah 20 to 10 bird at that point Santa trying to make something happen but uh Cooper Babin is going to be picked off and C bird is just going to take the gift that they just received as they're going to get back down to that grounded pound as Maxi gets the hand off and goes in for the touchdown and make it 26-10 bird as they went on to win by the final score of 26 to1 I guess that trip up I 49 will be a little shorter when you win 26- 10 all right this is Thursday night Liberty and Southern lab first quarter the kittens were up six to nothing a couple of plays later in the second quarter Jerry Botley he's been a backup the last two years played some now he's the starter and he has a nice run into the end zone to make it a 12 to nothing game head coach darl Asar and Company of course they won the State title last year in the super doome looking to perhaps do it again but they lost a lot of starters and a lot of seniors the kittens go for two Botley off to travarius Norman and he fights his way into the end zone to make it 14 to nothing with the conversion the Patriots with the ball now and after a bad snap Owen Ellis can't get a handle on the ball it's a fumble recovered by Raymond mcney and back in kitten territory so Su lab wins this one pretty convincingly 34-6 on the Thursday night at mford Stadium all right let's come back in town for Broadmore taking on AJ taking on Ender former head coach Rusty price was honored at half time they officially named the stadium in his honor for a nice photo op with family and friends right there so let's go to the game as ERS travante aldrid from the five stretches over the goal line 7 nothing elander and this the sloppy condition conditions just continue like I said that was the case the entire night as the fumble from Brandon Thomas and then Ender they also fumble mud rain grass yeah just bad combinations and now Broadmore has to punt and cayen Robinson is going to feel that he almost fumbled well he does fumble and now there's a mad scrum forward covered by Matthew Wesley so the Bucks get the turnover but they do nothing with it seven nothing at the half the final score in that's in that game was actually 14 to nothing ell won the game 14 to nothing but the story is uh Rusty price I'm doing this off the top of my head I believe he was at the school a total of 45 years he was a head coach for 28 years they had a historic upset of John Curtis in the playoffs one year and he impacted countless lives there and so uh certainly uh that is who that Stadium should be named after no doubt about it all right we'll continue with more highlights coming up all right welcome back to Sportsline Friday night we take you up Plank Road as Slaughter was hosting barnado both teams running out on the field and Slaughters Tai kiman is going to throw a pass to Kyon Johnson nice grab that right there for the first down and then a few plays later kiman is going to roll to his left and hit brandan giv for the touchdown extra point was no good so make it six nothing vadoo now on offense jayen Bale gets the hand off he gets hit hard that popped the ball out but barnado jumped right back on so that will move the chains for a first down and then they're going to stick with that run game in the round de Marian newerk makes a nice run before being brought down first down for vadoo and then stick with the Run game Javin Fowler gets the hand off he muscles into the end zone for the touchdown that made it 6 to6 as we look at the final score well that was the score at halftime we'll try to get a final score to you on that later in the show as far as our next game Leonia hosting East Jefferson first game for new head coach khil Thomas at Leonia at this point it was 7 nothing East Jeff and they add to their lead as Manuel agalar goes up the middle for the touchdown 14 to nothing Leon's offense couldn't do much of anything East Jeff back at it when you run the ball so much you hit him with the play action pass that's Gavin bester to Dorian Holland for the touchdown 21 to nothing East Jefferson and that goes on to be the final score so not a good start for leavon as they will host Northville next week all right you talk about a big one here the destan Wildcats hosting Catholic hot the Bears and of course it was a wet one this evening trouble for the Bears started early as they were on the ground with senior Ryland Parker but he quickly is surrounded by a hosts of wild cats only to cough up the football the wild cats recover in their own territory and they are fired up about that Wildcats go to work Jackson Fields finds Jabari Mack for the first down a pickup of 12 Fields would finished the drive dropping back finding Johnny field the fourth for the touchdown it was seven to nothing Wild cats lethal combination even in the monsoon bears looking for Redemption Ian lock loer hits Baylor Graves on a screen pass but he stopped for a short gain all celebration third down for the Bears loer scanning but gets wrapped up in the teeth of the defense I think I'm I might be one play ahead here as we just a littlee jack yeah yeah false start on me there you go but we have some hustling going on back in the editing Bay because we're going to be able to show you that Jaden miles is in the Wildcat and he runs it in for the touchdown here in the fourth quarter and that ends up being the game winner for Catholic high and that would snap destan 33 game home winning streak so the Bears stay Champions a season ago Under head coach Hudson Fuller get 2024 off to an exhilarating start final score in this one tonight as we show it to you 23-2 Catholic High over destan it's just something about Catholic high in these down to the wire finishes they just have that that bear ma bear magic the kurur dog magic something yeah you were there for what the Zachary game uh in Memorial Stadium a season ago yeah their last two matchups came down to the wire they had those crazy games against St Thomas Moore all these other teams just just something about catai good win for those guys what we got next guys all right let's go to Collegiate and aruma there we are right now and uh early on it's Elijah Parker handing it off to Kyrie Paul a 1300 yd rusher a season ago first touchdown of the game it's seven to nothing then Parker hands this one off to Marcus Williams into the end zone for another touchdown aruma leading 16 to nothing Sid Edwards who is pulling quite well as I saw in the uh the mayor's race looking on from the sideline Kyrie Paul breaks free the defense and runs it into the end zone to make it 22 to nothing at that point Parker then gives it back to Kyrie Paul not a bad idea he takes it in for about a 30 yard touchdown to make it 30 to nothing The Umbrellas were out you can't have those in Tiger stadium can you have an umbrella in mufford not sure I don't think so yeah don't do that uh and then going into the first half Kyrie Paul turns on the Jets and runs it in for an easy two-point conversion 32 to nothing at the half and how about Jeremiah Coleman with the big hit here he enjoys that he was on the ground like a dog and showing the dog in him on that hit H all right let's show you the final score is uh it was a Struma easily over Collegiate 32 to nil all right we still got some more time and some more games coming up here on the week one edition of Sportsline Friday night y'all stay right there we'll be back all right we' got Westell going at it this evening against uh Alexandria guys I do not have that shot sheet my apologies but we do not have that shot sheet uh West Luana carrying quarterback keeper here down inside the 5 yd line and then handing it off pouncing into the end zone so uh was feliciana looking good the Saints marching early against the uh friends from sin Louisiana here's the ensuing kickoff Ash inside their own 5 yd line trying to bring it out only two reasons to show this Jack only a touchdown or I was thinking he might have been stripped for a fumble right there but that did not happen and that is a big return looks like it's uh well he was stopped oh no he was not into the end zone he went for the uh touchdown no he did go out of bounds I'm not sure no thank it was a touchdown I'm I'm not sure uh sacked there by the ash defense fourth down let's take a look at the final score this evening I apologize for that folks but uh for the home team there wasn't a whole lot to show 44 to7 Ash comes in and boy they take care of business tonight I'm pretty sure our friends in the 318 would appreciate those highlights though they they would they would really appreciate those highlights up there that's just a dominant effort in in week one all right what else we got we got East feliciana and Kentwood East feliciana playing at the high school they got Turf over there but kwood came out musling as they got the first touchdown but east trying to come back the big play yeah it goes to the other team and buddy just has green grass right in front of him that is about to be a house call and that's exactly what it is that's a pick six for the kangaroos as they were had it going on against East feliciana and the Tigers trying to come back little play action roll out touchdown you know these two teams usually always put on a close contest they always play each other in week one a lot nice danc Jo can you dance like that I thought culio had passed away oh my god oh that's that's oh somebody somebody thr the flag some somebody throw the flag it's Kent wood muscles in for another touchdown and the rules back at it again for the two-point conversion and they went on to win by the final score of 46-28 so the rules came all the way down from the water tower stopped in Jackson and walked in their trap and took over their trap it was a Fantastic Voyage for Kentwood tonight all right what we got Jack uh I'm not sure what we're wrapping up we're getting towards the all right so our our good friends down the street brought us some ice cream this evening and so we're going to I think after the show we're going to wrap up today with that inspired by the first LSU home game against Nichols Colonels this Saturday the Dairy Store is bringing you the Kels a caramel popcorn ice cream flavor made with real corn and tomorrow the Dairy Store staff will be selling prepackaged cups of the Colonels the tiger bite it'll be from 11: to 4: at the corner of Stadium Drive and Tower Drive so if you want to get some uh caramel popcorn flavored ice cream for the colonels get it Colonels uh there you go so once again tomorrow corner of Stadium Drive and Tower Drive before LSU and Nicholls go at it uh maybe we can we just recap some scores from the top of the show this evening before we say good night uh that big Dunham game tonight Dunham just blowing out Parkview Baptist tonight by the final of 46 to nothing was the final and that one we had uh kind kind of going off that jock that Dunham Park I don't know if you remember U for sports line summer cam we interviewed Dunham and I asked the kids I was like uh any games y'all looking forward to usually coaches don't like that they don't like you know giving bullets and Bo material but every kid all three of them they was like oh Park View Park View Park View I'm like y just say no more I guess that works out because it's the first game wasn't down the road so they were looking ahead to that first game and and boy they uh they they took care of business guys if we could just show some scores from the top of the show uh that would help us folks tonight was really uh crazy I mean the weather has really changed the schedule Move games around to the weekend moov to Sunday Saturday we did our best to get as many games as we could on the air for you and hopefully uh next week will be a little bit different uh for us yeah as far as those games that got rescheduled to the rest of the weekend we got u high at woodon at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow then on Sunday we got McKinley against Capital Glen Oaks belir mentorship Easter reveal so I'm guessing all those schools must have went through bad field conditions and all that all that good stuff so yeah uh and we'll we'll try to get to some of those games this weekend but um we'll do our best as we move into a college football weekend with the uh New Orleans Saints uh guys if you could help us with some yeah some scores we got some scores let's show you just to recap in case you missed it bruly uh a second half touchdown to beat Allen seven to nothing in the sugarcan classic defensive game right there some other scores you may have missed out on as we mentioned Dunham in park viw Dunham almost got the 50 piece in a game that was technically their home game I I guess even though the game was at Park viw but they still got the job done 46 nothing in the final in that one other scores you might have missed out on PR Victorious debut for them their first game ever against Thrive Academy 33 to nothing Jack I want to ask you real quick what was kind kind of what was kind of like the scene out there I guess for for your first Varsity home game like the support all that how was that like it had a nice crowd uh it it was you know hurt a little bit because it was raining and it was nasty everywhere and while we're on the air I want to thank everybody for channnel 9 yourself and all our videographers and all the people that work hard on the show that got out there tonight and uh got those highlights cuz it was not a pleasant evening for football hopefully next week will'll be better other scores to uh tell you about this evening Santa Mall had a rough one tonight at home in the pit against C bird and Southern lab this was a Thursday night Affair against Liberty 34- 16 the final I was reading that the new Liberty Coach he does not like to pass the ball or punt it oh my God Wing te baby we we are going right back to when they had the leather helmets on no no face mask no protection Wing te Wishbone whatever hey let's tell you about the new coach he not pass the ball and he does not fight the ball all right 34- 16 was the F final Southern lab uh other scores will tell you out it was uh North everville over Central private 36 to 26 the final as uh a team close to your heart Kevin Baptist makes a Victorious return first game in 15 years I believe yeah first varsity game since 2008 yeah yeah the rain did not the rain did not slow down the crowd much like I said it was still a good environment people were out there and uh there's nothing like getting that first varsity win especially when you jump out to a 28 to nothing lead in the fashion that they did so good good stuff for the folks out there in Rose Jack say said near and dear to my heart I'm I'm I'm just from the area I'm just from rosevale so it's so you didn't go to school there did not go to school there so so yeah we got a couple more scores uh East Ascension loses to Brother Martin tonight at home 2314 the final in that one and think we got one more score to show you this evening it was uh plaman going to Zachary and David Brewerton and Company a very Victorious debut to 2024 they take out plam by the final of 49-14 all right jack we here we're here I mean we got high school football back we got LSU Southern already in business LSU plays Nichols Southern play Savannah State and our professional team the hudats they'll be playing Carolina on Sunday and if they don't win that game it could be along 2024 Kevin will be on the bluff I will be in Tiger stadium tomorrow and John E will be here on the desk Nine Sports extra debuts as well with Rohan Davey and Kevin Faulk LSU great joining us as analyst this year have a great weekend be safe we'll see you next week
