Superman the Christopher ree story is a documentary that Chronicles the life of Christopher ree famously known for his role as Superman the film highlights his rise to starom the tragic 1995 accident that left him paralyzed and his subsequent activism for disability rights and spinal cord injury research the documentary features interviews with Reeves children friends and includes never beeseen home videos the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2024 and will be released in limited us theaters on September 21st 2024 with an encore presentation on September 25th which would have been ree's birthday it is expected to be available on HBO's Max platform in the future
