welcome to fville and War Pig Su as the Arkansas Razer backs are ready to take the field little gets the blood boiling quite like a rivalry game barbs shots trash talk things that go on throughout the week will now all be settled on this field as we'll see the number 19 team in the country the LSU Tigers taking on another sec rival the Arkansas Razorback for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer time to get this game [Applause] started Razer backs will get us started with the opening kickoff returner is going to try to see what he can get really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 so LSU's offense takes the field for the first time today they're always butterflies to start a game but when you have a rivalry like this the adrenaline is pumping on overdrive guys they aren't all the same we say that but we know differently the blood is boiling the temperature is hot Jesse you want this week more than most yeah and they we played in these games before everything just seems to be heightened right the game seems to be moving faster the crowd noise feels louder your composure will be tested early in a game like this and that defense doesn't allow a cut back and they get him out of bounds after a short game direct snap that just never had a chance as they controlled the middle of the field and stopped him in the back field on third down boots his first of the day away was called on four times in the victory last week tries to find a little more Running Room on that return but he'll be stopped at the 36 so the Arkansas Razer backs offense has its first opportunity of the day as we take a look at our impact players for this one what are you looking for Jesse for a guy to make an impact well these are simply put the leaders of this football team and generally games go how these guys play if they make plays they've got a shot to win this one no doubt they got to show up these are the team leaders these guys have to play well if they're going to win the football quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there ball is at the 42 yd line close to four down territory here's third and short looking to scramble quarterback tried to scramble around for for a while but the defense able to bring him down man you talk all week about setting the tone quieting this crowd don't let him get involved you know how you do that get a sack and force a punt on the first possession of the football game that's a heck of a start for this defense and the Razer backs will bring the punt team onto the field the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon they'll get down and put a stop for this return they'll mark it at the 32 LSU will dive into the Playbook here on offense last time David it was one two three kick the last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense out I just think David too predictable that last Drive they got to do something here to get this defense on their heels sometimes people say if you're good enough what's a big deal about going on the road well if you're not careful you might find out in a spot like this one guys yeah no doubt about it this is a hostile environment and you know you're going to be getting the opponent's aame for this one they've circled this one all off seon so they better be ready to bring it today D and the hardest thing to do in college football is to go on the road everything about it changes and you want to shut this crowd up early you don't want to give them belief cuz if it starts to build throughout the game look out lost one on that last one it's second and 11 they'll run the option now the pitch still running at the 40 and he caught that pitch and stride and was Off to the Races a big gain and a first down for this [Applause] offense from the Red Zone looking for a space quick strike complete going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone you know often times these slot receivers they're not the biggest guys in the world but they're really good at finding the Open Spaces in the middle of the field and you saw that guy attack the defense in the perfect spot making life easy for his QB really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal fires into the end zone what a snag by the defense taking it the other one pass to 50 pass the 30 inside the 10 and he's going to take it all the way touchdown Razer backs that's one of those plays you put a highlighter beside it can really swing a game 100% there's a couple plays a game where you go back and you look like man that changed the whole outcome what an unbelievable play by the defense not just to get the turnover to score the points off [Music] he'll try to tack on one more and with the extra point they get the first seven of the game they're about to kick it away and the defense probably can't wait to get back out there after the pick six he'll take the return and try to improve the field position nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 trying to find his man on first down a beautifully placed ball to the outside and the tow drag for the big pickup and this set of downs gets started from the 33 first and 10 on the ground it's Jackson last time these two got together it was a tight one Jesse seems like every time these two teams play the game just feels faster right because it is a rivalry game there's just a greater sense of urgency when we see these teams match up yeah the fans feel it they know it there's so much true they think about it all year long when you talk about the next game on the schedule they're always looking forward to this one and and I don't think they got it snap before the play clock ran [Applause] out there's a difference between being methodical and thorough and slow they were slow they got the flat on third down he drops to throw he's going for a big Play Down field and he makes the catch inside the 25 and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throwing catch and he's down at the five and that receiver had nobody around that has got to be embarrassing for the defense when you let someone that deep down field go completely uncovered so now with first and goal let's see what LSU does here they'll try to get it in with the run and and he takes it to the house touchdown LSU L and this running back is so dangerous down close to the end zone he's got wiggle he's got great vision and burst and he's showed all of those attributes right [Music] there getting set for the point after for the extra point and it's perfect let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Connor Kevin what do you got it's been the buzz of college football all week fellas and it's finally here an update on that top five battle Texas is trailing but they are within Striking Distance kind of like when major Apple White turned a huge deficit in the 2001 Holiday Bowl into a win maybe today is deja vu it's just a field goal game they're trailing by three to Georgia he'll Circle back if anything changes of this contested top five matchup fellas thanks for the update on that one Kevin let us know when it goes final gu the nose of the ball to the 25 give him one probably the toughest call on the play sheet third and long ball at the 25 to the air it's green he's moving out of the pocket nowhere to go and the ball is loose defense falls on the ball going to be a turnover you know as quarterbacks you've got to be good in the pocket even when things are collapsing and you've got guys swiping at it you got to have two hands on the football didn't do a really good job with ball security there and that led to the [Applause] fumble the Bayou Bengals will run the offense out onto the field this could be a real Turning Point in the game they scored a touchdown they got a stop and now a CH got enough space and he Sprints to the end zone touchdown LS and the running back gets his second rushing touchdown of the game you want to continue to feed this guy you could tell he's got a nose for the End Zone knows how to get in there knows how to make things happen [Music] [Music] on to attempt the try is on for the extra point and the extra point is true and they're on top by seven that's exactly what you want to do when you have that type of field position strike quickly and they did one play and they put it on the board looking for an alley from inside his own 10 and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next Drive the Hogs send that offense back onto the field they'll try the run and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 grabbed in the middle it's h and that was some kind of collision between a couple of big bodies there and he stopped from getting the first down trying to move the sticks on on third down through the air snags it over the middle and the explosiveness the big Gainer gets it to the 49 yd line Hogs getting it done through the air evoking memories of Ryan Mallet and that's what the fans of Arkansas want to see they've always got that physical ground game they always want to have a little bit of balance and when they get that balance they get that offense cooking they get everybody pretty excited you might even get a woo big S guys LSU has the lead here we've played one before we move on let's have a look at the [Music] stats now to see if these guys can get back in the game as we open the second quarter the Razer backs will line it up on First and 10 he's going to pass and he's lucky to get that one back this junior quarterback knows better than to try that too often and the incompletion brings up a second down looking to throw it's green throw go to the wide out complete downfield touchdown Arkansas hold it in and just kept right on running to the Hallelujah land quarterback's abilities to read the field is huge and also the anticipation the timing to be able to throw the football Jesse and hit a guy in stride so he can get run after the catch and get in the end zone that was a nice job by the quarterback yeah it's critical David listen a lot of times touchdown passes aren't thrown into the end zone got to read the coverage hit the open guy and let him do the rest ready to try the point after splits the upright a very efficient five play scoring drive and they finish the drive with a touchdown toss from the 49 the returner will field it and try to set up his off defense in great field position not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 they're going to throw it to start the drive he gave him time to react and he almost pulled off the interception instead it'll be second [Applause] down looking for space it's Jackson they'll knock him down after a sixy gain to the 27 they'll try to move the chains on Third and short from the 27 from the gun wants to pass complete to the right and he's down at the 41 that's a first down new set of downs after that [Applause] completion they'll throw it on first down and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down the give on the inside couldn't ask for much more there a first down and they're down to the 42 LSU quick to the line man this guy is so scary when he has the ball in his hands he kind of reminds you he's got a little bit of Leonard Fett he's got a little bit of Clyde Edwards aair you know just that shake and bake when they get in the second level DBS just don't seem to know how to tackle this guy you don't want to submarine he might hurdle over you but but if you don't go in with conviction and he's got the speed to get outside and take it the distance this dude just makes your heart stop every time he has the ball power football with the Run they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one the Lost yardage leaves him with second and 11 looking to pass it's nus Meyer excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away here comes his home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third third down fires to the middle oh and it's a pick he threw it right into the double coverage and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the pick what a nice catch by the defensive back listen a lot of times you see DBS get in position to make plays but there's a reason they play DB and not wide receiver great job finishing the interception catching the ball making a big play [Music] and Arkansas ready to send out this offense how big is this drive scored a touchdown the last time they had it defense gets a stop and now it's up to them in a tie game all right so if you're the offensive coordinator here let's dial it in who are your best matchups and best Playmakers to take advantage of this golden opportunity yeah and I'm interested to see this defense too like the momentum is clearly not in your favor how do you get it back how do you make a big play do you be more aggressive here to try to get the football back to your offense he's brought down quickly minimal gain there still a bit short of the first down after a good pick up on the run it's second down the give from the gun they knock him down right there a third down try for the offense they'll try to get it through the air quick completion on the out route he steps out of bounds but he's got a first down on the play here's this offense with a fresh set of downs free- snap Motion in the back field he'll come out throwing on first down grab near the marker it's h and he's brought down after a nice game and the Razer backs are on the move quickly complete he's brought down but there's a flag on the play let's see if it stands personal foul face defense that's just an obvious face mask penalty there no way you're getting away with it got to keep your composure there a little pre-nap eye candy for the defense caught behind the line it's Jackson and there is nothing doing on that one you got the completion and nothing else to show for it wants to throw on second down and swatted down by the defense to stop the scoring opportunity now facing a third and long looking downfield and he needs a bunch makes his connection and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker and on fourth down they'll try to put three on the board kick is good the offense has three points to show for the drive and with that they've taking the lead after putting up the field goal they're set to kick it [Applause] away the returner will field it and bring it back really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 LSU will dive into the Playbook here on offense boy they had that last Drive moving a little bit David but then the mistake just crushed and those mistakes are going to happen you're going to throw the football you're going to throw interceptions but I think I stay aggressive with this offense I get back to what I did in the first part of that drive what made me successful I agree David just turn the page if you're a quarterback right in this drive you did a lot of good things there leading up to that pick forget about it move on play the next play and now on second down for this offense trying to make that Rush think on the draw play here jumped on top of the pile better find the earplugged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down scanning the field it's nus Meer looking deep down the right side and they wanted it all on third down but now dealing with fourth down looks as if LSU will line up to putt it away he only needs a sliver of daylight he's brought down but a really Sol effort to pick up every bit of yardage he could on the par return on the run it's Jackson able to scr three yards out of that one somehow it's second and seven got a little work done on first down now back to the line out of the shotgun they go to the ground he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see which way that's going to go he was grabbing for anything he could get a hold of and wound up with a fist full of face mask and it'll cost him 15 trying to move them on the counter and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him that kind of pick up on first down and you can take a shot here on second and short finally pulled down but not before moving the change for a first down the Razer backs come to the line with a fresh set of downs how about that play to get a hand in there and force the incompletion and after the incompletion on first down this offense looking at second down the playaction fake he snares it in the end zone touchdown Razer backs one of the areas that really focused on with this receiver in the offseason was we need you to make more plays for us in the end zone when we're taking shots we need to be able to step up and make tough catches David what a grab right there and I think a lot of that has to do with trusting your guy knowing where he's going to be knowing when he's going to sit down when he's not so being on the same page and then having a guy that can go get it just when the ball is near him he's going to make the play just like he did right there for six points and and with the extra point they're now up by a touchdown and a field goal at 10 and let's check in with Kevin Conor in the studio Kevin Gentlemen let's take a look at what's happening in this exciting college football game Purdue is currently trailing but this has been a back and forth of if that quarterback can find a little magic Allah Bob greasy this might not be over just yet they're trailing by 10 to Oregon out of the shoot quick toss to the right your boy KC has you covered here in studio guys in case anything changes in this one oh and how about that I know Kevin and those guys will be keeping an eye on it for us here comes the offense on first down give to the running back slams into the pile he'll get one to the 17 kept it on the ground last time but see if they go back to it on second down little touch pass to the receiver they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down decb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down looking downfield it's nus Meer shoots it to the left and the third down pass is incomplete LSU will bring the punt team on the field they'll look to pin him deep gets it away good distance but more importantly just the direction he wanted first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning takes a hand off it's Jackson just a solid stop by this sophomore we've reached the two-minute warning and they will try to build on what has already been a dominant first half performance got his man quickly finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down a new set of downs after the completion to the air on first down snagged in the middle it's aegna I love offenses and quarterbacks that are willing to take the easy stuff take those easy throws that are guaranteed to get positive yards yeah I'm going to take big shots down the field too but don't forget it's easier to pick up second and five third and five than it is when we start getting those long yard situations trying play action unloads to the wide out he makes a catch he gets it to the 31 yd line a big play for this offense he came into this year with big expectations everybody expecting him to stat it up and now at that last completion he's already over 2,000 yards passing for the season offense picking up steam first and 10 from the 31 looking to move it through the air got it set up on the outside they make the stop but a good pick up there on first down after that last completion it's second down back to throw it's green receiver looks it in it's complete he almost picked up the first down on that one but he'll be just a little bit short third third and short from the 22 as the field goal and the defense makes a play and they get the quarterback down at the 26 we've got a timeout here late in the first half and they'll try to get more points on the board before the break they'll send out the kicker here and this one splits the upright and now the leaves extended a little f [Music] so they put the field goal on the board about to kick it away and hoping that'll be the final points of this first half on the run from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 the Bayou Bengals will will run the offense out onto the field not a lot of time left here in the half let's see if they can cut into this lead and this drive isn't a must score but man you look at the scoreboard you're down two scores Jesse you got a good opportunity create some momentum cut it to a one- score game this is an important possession yeah it's important to create that momentum now David two and not wait to get it going here at the start of the third quarter you got one drive here to get a couple of points you've got to start erasing and chipping away at this deficit this could be where LS one high and deep and the DB forcing the incomplete pass with the deflection second and 10 after the previous play he's looking to throw right down the middle and it's picked off for the third time today and they'll close in on him after a good return on the interception and this ball looks like it just got away from the quarterback I think he made the right decision he was going to the re receiver that seemed open but just not very accurate on throw and that leads to the [Music] interception the Hogs send that offense back onto the field they're already in great field goal position here David the question is how aggressive do they get the Full Throttle be aggressive try to get the touch down here man such great starting field position it's just going to take one play right they've got the weapons outside give a guy an opportunity to make a play In The End Zone think about the momentum change that would create got his man on the right excellent job working through the air there finding a hole in that defense and picking up a first down the offense will have to use its first time out of the half looking to throw it's green safe completion on the screen and he'll run across the sidelines after the good gain running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down and now let's see if the offense can bail itself out after the second down and that one is picked off in the end zone and they come up with a big play to make sure no more points go on the board before the end of the half I love when people start to understand what we're doing defensively if they're going to pass the football and that's that where they're going to live well I'm going to live in dime I'm going to bring more defensive backs on the field so I can cover more of these speed guys that they have out there great job by the defensive back breaking on the football making the int making the DC look very smart quick touch pass to the receiver One Step WRA two-step squeeze as Junior knows how to get him on the ground listen to this Crow just shaking the girders of this place trying to help their defense that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with the half time update thanks so much guys and I need not tell you rivalry games always bring out a ton of emotion and no surprise we saw just that in the first half today and the story of the half has been that Elite Corner we were told he was tough to throw against he's basically taken away an entire side of the field when he's out there causing turnovers and getting physical how often do we say that about lock down guys and how this offense schemes against him in this second half will be fun to watch that said let's get back to the field and our guys in the booth to see who comes out on top of this rivalry contest LSU will put foot to leather to start the second half he'll bring it back from inside his five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 and Arkansas ready to send out this offense got it in the middle it's sategna he's got enough for the first down they'll spot it at the 37 and the Razer backs in the hurry up remember some of the years when the Hogs spent a lot of time in the wild cat just running it you don't have to do that with this guy guide quarterback and it just makes you less predictable right you you got a running back in there you know you're not going to throw it very much but when they do have the ability to push the ball down the field and get some guys out of the box and makes this offense even more exciting second and 10 he'll throw again gets it out fast and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pickup third and short from the 44 and we might know if they plan to go for it on fourth down by what they call here trying to pick it up on the ground he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see what the call is the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty back to pass it's green get it out on the screen at the 45 on it way he will step out of bounds but not before the big pickup and a first down for this offense this Proficiency in the passing game can take you back to yester year one of the great quarterbacks in Arkansas history in Joe Ferguson yeah just slinging the pill just being able to being able to provide balance being able to attack down the field get people out of the box and and not be predictable that's a really good job by this quarterback the Razer backs have their offense in high gear quarterback on the keeper picks up the first down still moving and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoid a disaster and stopped the really big play well this is one of the fastest quarterbacks in college football and that's why the option's a good idea because if he can get out in space and he has a chance to get down field he is really difficult to tackle and he's very difficult to catch as you saw in that last play getting a first down looks as if the defense was a little too eager there got into the neutral zone and that'll be a 5yd penalty so the early contact for the defense and they'll move it up five yards he's looking to throw touchdown Arkansas and they made it to the house where they found that six points waiting on him they are seizing control and taking away hope as they push out the lead in this week eight Showdown now they have extended this lead guys starting to put the hammer but sometimes a rivalry game can give you a little of extra fight back and there can be no Panic at this point now you've worked too hard this off season David they've had this game Circle for so long you've got to play your best football right now and fight back and you just need something good to happen on this next possession you got to get the crowd back into this football game big rivalry get some emotion get some momentum on your [Applause] side3 coming out with it it's Durham pulled down at the 18 and the decision to bring it out of the end zone was not a good one LSU will dive into the Playbook here on offense wasting no time throwing on this drive that's caught it's Taylor and he might be known for run fits but that was a sure and heavy tackle on the tight end nice quick throw there it's so important for quarterbacks to be able to find a rhythm and to be comfortable and confident you want to just get the ball out quickly make it an accurate and easy throw and you can tell that these two guys they rep that play in practice all the time and it's now showing up here on D looking to go up top on first down he lofs it high and deep down the left side well at this juncture in the game with how the scoreboard looks no question this offense is going to have to throw to get back in the game and it's going to be tricky now because the defense is expecting it you're going to throw into a lot of big Zone coverages with everybody's eyes on the quarterback not going to be easy and this offense just can't afford not to get the first down here already trailing big and it is another interception just a terrible struggle for this quarterback and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception you know I think if I'm the quarterback I'm probably not throwing at this linebacker anymore that's now already his second pick in this game he's been doing an outstanding job in coverage I think if you're the QB you got to start avoiding [Music] him the Hogs send that offense back onto the field they'll go to the ground powerful running as he trucks his way to the 28 got six on first down now a lot of options on second and four dropping back it's green he's got his man he is stopped behind the line of scrimmage they'll lose yards on that one it's a makeable field goal from the 29 yd line let's see how aggressive they are on Third and long they've got the screen set up they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front ball to set up the screen and create some lanes for their running back someone not clear on the snap count it'll be a false start and they'll move it backal start so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty pushed back behind the chains it's first and 15 and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again on the ground it's Jackson they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one already well within field goal range wonder how aggressive they'll be on Third and long from the 22 looking to throw and he needs a bunch gets it out quickly and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the stop so this field goal unit has been getting the job done they've already made a couple here today good right down the Boulevard and now the lead is even bigger they're really starting to extend that lead as they get ready to kick it away again and he takes this from inside the five and good work by the coverage team to get the Return Man Down On The Ground the Bayou Bengals will run the offense out onto the field they'll start this drive with a pass tip ball put it up for grabs and I thought he had it but somehow it slithered through his finger misfired on the last play they'll go back to the air he lobs one high down the left side and they are pushing the ball down the field a big pick up on that one and the tackle is finally made that last big play one that can really jump start a drive it's first and 10 from the 47 here's the handoff and the defense finally makes the stop after the sweet run and good gain LSU with the first and 10 here wide receiver now comes in motion might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and here comes the offense on second down they'll ride the Run back and leave it with him really nice stop there from this senior leader if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum back to throw it's nus Meer and finally the defense is able to get some pressure on this quarterback they had been trying all game long different ways to affect him weren't able to get there but on that play because of the pressure it affected his accuracy and that's why the ball Falls in and Arkansas ready to send out this offense there have been few obstacles for this offense as they are starting to pull away here in the second and it's intercepted a turnover for the defense and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the pick I tell you what it puts you in a tough position when you're backed up inside your own 20 trying to come out but when you're a defense and you can force a turnover and you already set your offense up in scoring position they are going to be extremely happy and that offensive coordinator is going to look extrem extremely smart and the Tigers will try to punch it in on first and goal he'll try to get it in with the run and he runs it in for the score touchdown Tigers man oh man what a day his third touchdown rushing showing you he's got a little bit of everything and pading those stats and all you fantasy football guys if you have my man at running back a good day here comes the two-point try trying to bully their way in he's not going to make it in and the decision to go for two does not work out about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown here he comes from inside his own five he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 the Hogs send that offense back onto the field well the good news about this drive Jesse it can't go worse than last time threw a pick on the first play no it certainly can't I think one good way David to help your quarterback Turn the Page is just find him an easy completion here and let him get back into a WEA yeah or find him an easy hand off just hand the football off maybe get the ground game going maybe jump start this offense a little bit they make the stop but there is a flag on the field we'll see what that's all about def it's been said over and over you have to protect players head and neck area this penalty so important at the college level he wants to throw and that is good versatility there and a big hit from the backer in pass coverage now here on second down see if they keep tossing it around looking for a man it's green he finds his man they stop him at the 42 but they get it across Midfield pick up 10 and the first down and now a fresh set of downs for this offense hands it off and he throws hands with that strong stiff arm but still not a lot of running room there picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down wide receiver coming across in motion but Jet Sweep pass he works his way in inside the 30 down to the 29 and picks up a first down and the Razer backs are moving quickly down the field out of the gun the inside G and a nice run there before the defense finally makes the stop the big pick up on first down leaves him with second and one he's looking to throw had to throw it before he wanted nowhere close on that one as he got drilled trying to deliver the foot football and now they face third down they'll try to pick it up on the ground the Razer backs get enough for the first down here's this offense with a fresh set of [Applause] down and you want to talk about his favorite receiver it might be everybody based on the number of guys getting touches and a chance to show off their hands in the passing game as we start the fourth quarter it'll take a pretty sizable comeback to win this one from the 17 yd line threatening to score on First and 10 they're getting this guy lathered up and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pickup a great chance to put this game away with a score here on first and goal some early movement along the offensive line and they'll walk it back the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty motion touchdowns but you've also given up four sacks now pass protection has not been great even though they've got the lead in this game his field goal unit getting some serious run they've already been out there three times a kicker will try it again between the uprights it's good and they'll push that lead out a little further we check in with Kevin Connors what's going on Kevin terrific Showdown Third and long from the 22 pocket starts to collapse here comes the rush and they've got him wrapped up at the 28 it's pretty obvious this defense came into this one knowing they were going to have to play a complete game until there were zeros on the clock especially against this quarterback you cannot take your foot off the gas and that's exactly what they're doing here late in the fourth quarter they're still bringing it and they get another sack and on fourth down here comes the field goal unit this one will be a 45 yd attempt and he'll kick it from the left side it is perfect so after the mage field goal they'll kick it away and rely on their defense he'll start the return inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and Arkansas ready to send out this offense so last time David they ate up some clock ran a bunch of plays but settled for the field goal yeah but they're still up and I like where I'm at if I'm on offense right now my job is to put another long drive together eat more block and get another score just got to be better in the Red Zone this time around when they get down close to the goal line you need better execution to put a touchdown on the board here now from the 36 yd line it's first and 10 moving the running back trying to get the D to tip its hand got him downfield and they're getting it rolling with that play to the 42 yd line and the Razer backs want to pick up the tempo well I love play colors that want to stay aggressive regardless of what the score is regardless of how much time is left on the clock and I promise you this there are a lot of fans there are a lot of teams all across college football that are paying attention to what is happening right now will wonders never cease if you're a defensive guy they call Pi on the offense this time dropping back it's green and that incomplete pass caused by the big hit on first down second down coming after the misfire now on second down from the shotgun now here's an inside GI that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there com on Third and long no secret what he needs here slips a tackle and he's got room a really nice run and gain and he gets down to avoid taking punishment the Razer backs will try to pin them back with the punt this will be the second time they've had to kick it away and they won't be able to down it it goes into the end zone for a Touchback LSU will dive into the Playbook here on offense they're going to have to be more aggressive in this drive you can't expect to win this one David kicking field goals no especially when you're trailing you got to have a little more urgency and maybe a little more aggressiveness Jesse and field goals are not going to penalty on the D gives the offense a free five yds on second down looking to throw using the quick game and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few fairly manageable distance here on third down from the 27 they'll will stick to the ground looking for the marker and they did not let him get to that first down line it'll bring up a call here they'll go with the running game on fourth down here he is stopped short and they'll turn it over on Downs just a crushing blow at this point in the game off the play fake on first down wants to throw caught over the middle it's high gets it inside the five down to the four n be first and goal he'll try to get it in with the Run he had all kinds of company as soon as he got and he had to fight his way back just to get to the line of scrimmage it's now second and go tries again to get it in he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling we reached the two minute warning and this offense is that much closer to salting away a victory turning to the running game here on Third and goal timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible now on fourth down here comes the field goal team this field goal try to make it a three-core game lead splits the uprights good and that lead grows even bigger that lead just keeps getting getting fatter in this kickoff team doing a little running from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 the Bayou Bengals will run the offense out onto the field the deficit is large hope is fainting but they'll try to finish strong made a lot of mistakes in this game and that's why it looks like they're going to take the L lots of things to improve on lots of things to coach upon and at this point I think if you're a head coach David you're just trying to see which of your guys aren't quitting late in the game yeah which is a real thing by the way who's going to compete to the final whistle who what do we talk about all the time coaches are always preaching to these guys don't worry about the Schoolboard just compete as hard as you can so good opportunity to try to finish this game with something possible back to throw it's nus Meer and he can't escape and down he goes timeout call by the offense and now they just have one remaining in the half on Third and long he's going to have to turn one loose downfield and the pass is incomplete here on third down but there is a flag let's check it [Applause] out look you want to make the quarterback feel you you want to get pressure in his face that was so close but just a tad late going for the big play nice defensive play to get a hand in there at knock it away the incompletion on first down leaves him with second and 10 from the 43 he's looking to throw he losts one down the sideline touchdown by you Bengals and they take it in for six more points nice job by the offense going down the field putting points on the board but you're still down a couple possessions still need some good things to happen you need your kicker to go over there and get warmed up we need an onite we need to score some points we need a lot of things to go right to win this football [Applause] game ling up to add another for the extra point and it's up and good a very efficient five play scoring Drive they're definitely up against it time running out down two possessions they'll try the onside kick not much drives more anxiety than waiting to see if the hands team can Corral the onside kick and they do quarterback will take a KN the defense can stop it one more time but we are close to being all Shir when you deal with a rivalry game you have to live with the outcome for a full year and this one is going to rest in their minds for the entire season going into next year and it's not going to sit well with the losing team when you lose these you're going to get hounded and you're going to get hate you're going to get social media is going to destroy you about losing to your rival but you got to put it past you it is just one game it's not that big of a deal well guess yeah it kind of is it kind of is a big deal you're right David I mean a lot of these kids they played with each other against each other in high school they've known each other for a long time there's going to be a lot of trash talking going on not just between players but the fans fans their families coaching staffs this is a game that's going to get talked about for an entire year and you
