JULIE WALZ TOUCHED ON TAXES, BRIEFLY MENTNTIONED JOINING THE NATIONAL GUARD AND LET HIS FORMER STUDENT TALK ABOUT HIS ABORTION RECORD AND ALL THIS WEEKEND'S SPEECH COULD USE SOME CONTEXT WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR VOTE. NEBRASKA NATIVE TIM WALZ, TAPPING INTO HIS RURAL ROOTS TO KEEP OMAHA BLUE AND TAKE AN ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE AWAY FROM REPUBLICANS. DO YOU THINK JD VANCE KNOWS ONE -- THING ABOUT NEBRASKA. WALL SPENT PART OF SATURDAY'S RALLY ATTACKING VANCE AND DONALD TRUMP. YOU THINK HE'S EVER HAD A RUNZA? YOU THINK HE'S EVER HAD A RUNZA? THAT GUY WOULD CALL IT A HOT POCKET. YOU KNOW IT. THE GOVERNOR ALSO ALLOWING HIS FORMER ALLIANCE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT TO TALK ABOUT HIS ABORTION RECORD, MADE MINNESOTA THE FIRST STATE TO PASS A LAW CODIFYING ABORTION RIGHTS AFTER DONALD TRUMP OVERTURNED ROE V WADE. IT'S A FACT, WALZ MADE MINNESOTA THE FIRST STATE TO PASS A LAW CODIFYING ABORTION RIGHTS, AFTER THE REVERSAL OF ROE V WADE. MINNESOTA STATE DEMOCRATS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THEIR CONTROL OF THE STATE'S LEGISLATURE. THE SUPREME COURT OVERTURNED ROE AND FACTCHECK.ORG SAYS TRUMP APPOINTED THREE OF THE NINE JUSTICES, GIVINGNG THE COURT THE CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY NEEDED FOR THE REVERSAL. TRUMP HAS SAID HE WOULD LEAVE ABORTION RESTRICTIONS UP TO THE STATES. PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS BEEN VERY CLEAR THAT IT'S UP TO THE STATES. HE WOULD NOT SIGN A NATIONAL ABORTION BAN. HE BELIEVES IN FINDING CONSENSUS. NEXT, THE NATIONAL GUARD RECORD. TWO DAYS AFTER I TURNED 17, I WENT AND RAISED MY HAND AND JOINED THE NEBRASKA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD. THAT'S A FACT. ACCORDING TO SERVICE RECORDS, WALZ SERVED 24 YEARS, BUT VOTERS NEED TO KNOW WALZ HAD TO CLARIFY HIS HISTORY AND RANK UPON RETIREMENT IN THE EARLY DAYS AS A VP PICK. OUR D.C. BUREAU REPORTS. WALZ HELD SEVERAL POSITIONS, CULMINATING HIS CAREER AS A COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR, BUT RETIRED AT THE LOWER MASTER SERGEANT RANK BECAUSE HE DID NOT COMPLETE PROPER COURSEWORK. SUPPORT, AMONG OTHER PROPOSALS. WALLS IN THE CAMPAIGN ARE STAYING AWAY FROM HIS 1995 DRUNK DRIVING ARREST IN NEBRASKA COURT, AND POLICE RECORDS SAY. WALZ ADMITTED TO DRINKING WHEN HE WAS PULLED D OVER FOR DRIVING 96 AND A 55 MILE PER HOUR ZONE.
