Apple CEO asked viewers to deposit crypto into a wallet address in bids to pull off the common double your money scam so I'm pretty sure everyone who's watching already knows about like the double your scam crypto but I always got to repeat it because people are still falling for it they still want to double their crypto double their money as fast as they can so they see something fake they believe it they don't think it's or they don't even know it's a scam and they go oh let me just send my Bitcoin over to that address and I'll get double it nope it's gone forever so I always got to report on these so you guys do not fall for it even though again this should be just common knowledge but again sometimes common knowledge isn't so common but yes let's go through this article YouTube was flooded with live streams featuring deep fakes of Apple CEO Tim Cook that shilled crypto scams amid the tech Giants own live stream anding its latest generation of iPhones in one of the September 9 scam streams shared on X an artifi artificial intelligence faked the cook and asked viewers to send Bitcoin ether tether or Dodge coins to a contribution address claiming Apple would send them double the amount back which is a no they will never do that now once you complete your deposit the system will automatically process it and send back double the amount of cryptocurrency you deposited the AI fake cook urged now the videos are common uh double your money scam that promises to send back double the amount of any crypto sent to an address but in reality the frosters keep the funds now here is that tweet from bear pig AI is getting way too good 355,000 people watching a fake Apple account on YouTube that's promoting a massive crypto scam LOL the reason there are so many viewers is because the keynote today was at 12m Central so again like scammers are going to try to time themselves now when stuff happens like probably like the debate tonight like during Trump and CA there's probably gonna be a couple fake YouTube videos out there and then promoting the like double your scam because that's how they do it so be on higher for that but the scam live stream coincided with Apple's September 9th glow time event which it live streamed on YouTube and unveilled its new iPhone 16 models one scam stream was featured on YouTube channel that was made to appear as Apple us complete with a legitimate verification tick so they're going to try and make themselves look as legit as possible so be on alert videos and screenshots shared to X show some bogus streams collected hundreds of thousands of views but it's likely many of these were just Bots aiming to give the stream legitimacy so here's another tweet from aesi Batar so breaking uple us Channel hacked and there is a fake ey video so there's that this is what it did look like so oh can we actually play it let's see so yeah look how AI is getting just it looks like Tim Cook himself and there's the fake Stream So actually spot it you you're kind of getting over them it's like a come on stop spamming us but YouTube support team acknowledge a scam in a September 9th expost urging that users to report the video in the official reporting tool the Sham videos are no longer available and the associate accounts are now closed now uh there's just just showing more of the tweets out there from it the Apple scam you directly on the video and i' really appreciate bringing this our attention but YouTube has not immediately responded to the request for comment on the live stream but deep fake scammers become increasingly bold now a growing number of high-profile individuals and events are becoming the targets of scammers who use deep fake technology to dup users in June major Australian broadcaster 7 had its YouTube news channel hijacked by crypto scammers who posted videos of deep fake Elon musks talking about crypto in the same month YouTube was flooded with deep fake version of the musk around the same time as the latest launch of spacex's Starship rocket asking users to deposit crypto into a fraudulent double your money scheme now concerns about AI generated content have increased exponentially in the last few years and the world economic Forum highlighted all possible adverse outcomes of AI Technologies in 2024 addition of its Global risk report so yeah so AI has a little downside but there's still also tons of benefits to AI but this is just one of the negative dark sides of it but again like the article said like they are timing the uh timing when these fake scams like go out so there's so many scams you just got to be alert on this one is hopefully very knowledgeable that you do not fall for it and then there's also fishing email scams out there I think I was brought a where of the ellipal crypto wall like there's an email coming out like going out there and like so just be careful of fishing scams out there unless you know it's an official one and then the biggest one of them all is romance scams or how I like a better word for a pig butchering it's very demeaning but it gets the gets the word out on it just just be careful with all the just all the
