this is a public service announcement please share this information widely Walmart has recently issued a recall of about 10,000 cases of their Great Value apple juices that specifically come in 8 oz in a sixpack because they contain elevated levels of inorganic arsenic at 13.2 parts per billion the industry standards at 10 parts per billion the best if used by date is December 28 2024 and the UPC code is listed up top to figure out which ones are specifically in the recall arsenic is a naturally occurring element that is widely distributed but when it forms inorganic compounds it can be toxic for your health especially with chronic exposure which is why the FDA regulates how much arsenic could be found in Foods this is a level to recall which means that there is a potential risk for having a short-term Health consequence if you're exposed to this particular product but the probability of having a serious adverse Health consequence is low
