hello kindergarten first and second grade we are back for week six of distance learning and we are gonna get started right away with our hello song hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed yes indeed hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed my darling now this year in kindergarten and as we reviewed in first and second grade we have four different types of voices that we can use we can whisper we can talk we can sing and we can shout so this time we're gonna do our hello song for different ways first we're gonna try it in a whisper voice are you ready were you able to whisper it now we are going to do our talking or our speaking voice hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed yes indeed hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed my darling now we're gonna do back to singing voice hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed yes indeed hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed my darling and now everybody is favorite let's try our shouting voice don't strain your voice though don't shout so loud that you hurt yourself here we go hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed yes indeed hello everybody yes indeed yes indeed my girl eh all right how do we do is it loud I bet it was all right now before we get into reading or rhythm cards let's up find a space where you can move around and we are going to do our steady beat cards and this week I've got a bit of a rock song that I've made for you on GarageBand so here we go [Music] now savage in like your eyes jumping jacks where your honor dancing me bang up and down up and down and [Applause] yeah not your knees Wow Mirage naturally we going on [Music] not your third run in place [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right nice job now we are going to go into reading our rhythms again we worked so hard in the first five weeks on our toes in our TVs so we are going to practice those today again but this time we're going to practice them using our four different voices so I'll hold up the card I'll tell you what voice we're gonna use and then I'll count you off in that voice alright here's our first card let's try singing one two ready go titi titi Tata let's try shouting ready go tah tah tah tah next one let's use our speaking voice ready go tah tah Deepti top next one let's speak this one tah tah titi titi next one sing it now titi titi tah tah next one let's use our shouting voice ready set go top titi titi titi speaking voice ready go titi tah tah titi singing voice ready go titi ta titi titi shouting voice ready go top teeth teeth teeth teeth ah last one how did we do all right let me know how it went when we add something extra on top of it it makes our brains work a little bit harder but that is good for us alright now this week you have been given an activity board with lots of things that you can choose from to create music at home and there's lots of different things that you can choose from and even though there are 16 boxes on here and it kind of looks like a bingo card you get to choose the four that interest you the most for instance if it were me I might like to go under the S column and listen to a song from another country just listen to it find out what's different out there or I might like to sing my favorite song I love to sing along with my playlists if I'm cleaning or if I'm just hanging out in my backyard I always have music going and I always sing along to one of my favorite songs but you might not be like me you might like something else there's lots of dances on here there are some stories on here so you pick four that you think would be interesting to you and then after you complete those activities go to what we call that self-assessment and you're just going to tell me what activity you chose in how it went you can circle the happy face if you think it went really well the neutral face if it was just okay or the sad face if you really didn't like it and as always I would love if you make up any performances or do any of the dancing that goes along with the activities I would love to see you engaged in that music making at home so as always feel free to send me videos pictures and you can attach those to your assignments or email them or text them to me so I hope you all have a really great week I know we're almost at the end of the school year but you're doing a great job staying engaged so let's keep up the great work all right we'll see you next week for leap week 7 see you kindergarten first and second grade bye
