Fresh off her first sit down interview since becoming the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris reveals plans for another pro abortion tour 50 plus stops traveling by bus beginning Tuesday in Florida. Her campaign says elected officials and celebrities will join stops along the route to talk about all that's at stake this November. In Michigan Thursday , former President Donald Trump slamming his opponents over abortion. >> I was just telling this reporter the real problem and the real radicals on that issue are the Democrats, where you can have an abortion in the ninth month, but on IVF, which the Catholic Church opposes, he announced this, that under the Trump administration, your government will pay for or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for all costs associated with IVF treatment . Fertilization for women, IVF treatment . Because we want more babies, to put it very nicely. >> Pro-Life advocate Lila Rose asking in a post on X, how is this morally different than the contraceptive mandate under Obama? Harris's running mate, Governor Tim Walz, was questioned about his recent comments about IVF. >> I spoke about our infertility issues because it's hell and families know this, and I spoke about the treatments that were available to us that that had those beautiful children there. That's quite a contrast in folks that are trying to take those rights away from us. >> During the joint interview, Harris was also confronted with the current economy prices, in particular for groceries are still too high. >> The American people know it, I know it. >> Harris says she recognizes the problem with immigration , too. >> I believe there should be consequence. We have laws that have to be followed and enforced, that address and deal with people who cross our border illegally . >> Also tonight, Florida's six week abortion ban, the heartbeat Protection Act, former President Trump told NBC he thinks the six weeks is too short and there needs to be more time. As for how he'll vote on amendment four in Florida, which would invalidate that state's pro-life protections, his campaign says Trump has not yet said how he will vote on that ballot initiative.
