BREAKING NEWS: The Rob Holding Derby! Arsenal Draw Bolton In Carabao Cup!

[Applause] there we have it ARS will be playing Bolton at home in the carabal Cup draw we'll uh well we'll give you the dates of that game I actually need to go back and double check all that um but we yeah we've got the team that we're playing in the next round of course we haven't always been super fortunate with Cup draws Liverpool at home in the FA Cup last season we had brenford and West Ham away in the third and fourth round of the car Cup draws last year so it's good to get a home draw but also with all due respect to Bolton a club outside the Premier League as well to not make it quite as much of a task as it could be at times um it's the Rob holding Derby people said we never gave him a testimonial what are we like there we go we've got one for him now um yeah look CES I mean we were on a on a news update earlier say that we want to go far in this competition and in the nicest way and with all du respect to Bolton and things happen in football you know things can go wrong and upsets can happen you feel like you know you also need that bit of luck in the draw as well and for this first draw we we've had we've got a favorable one it's fair to say yeah it's definitely fair to say that I mean I think we've been we've done a lot of videos today we've been very respectful of clubs always say you know we don't want to upset their fans or what not but are we real Arsenal bolon there should only be one winner incoming one n Win to Bon but no there should only be one win I'll be honest it's it's a favorable um tie Bolton um down in League one actually I think they they've they've looking at some of the results got some of them here they won two nil against shrewbury to get them into this round um they lost 2-0 to Charlton uh Drew to rexam so I mean we're looking at Arsenal regardless of what team how did they how did they set up in those games how do they be honest joking imagine if I just started walking like yeah actually had a a nice 433 up they look the way they inverted the goalkeeper with the striker to get a dominant Midfield set up I think that'll be a real problem for de rice on the day League one because cruy have just been promoted into League one I will be keeping an eye on certain games that cruy play but they they're yet to play um to play Bolton so I haven't seen that game I haven't seen much of Bolton at all of course but of when we when we get to the previews and the build dos we'll definitely do extensive research you know this team goes but um yeah like I kind of on to as well they're like no matter what team Arsenal put out we're going to talk about us we should be winning this game comfortably I expect Arsenal to go far in this competition they actually mentioned when they drew Arsenal um the number one uh ball they said you know we haven't won this tra since 1993 I believe it was so before I was born before you was born as well um and it's something that it's a silverware that I know people turn their nose up at but I I want it so um it's a good way it's a good it's a good um fixure to have to start I also want to mention though there has been some big scalps taken in in this cup already I mean I got one here wiam beaten Swansea as well so Wickam a through they they they've got um they got quite a interesting TI they got Aston Villa there that's quite a big name Southampton obviously beat card the I bring up is obviously because Ramel is going to be going to Southampton and Wimbledon beat an IP switch those were kind of the stand outs I took from um some of the fixures that happened today so it's interesting um that you know you got to be it's not like the magic of the FA Cup they used to say but I think the cbell cup The League Cup as well you got to be aware of some of the the lower league teams to you know do some big wins but realistically we should be beating the team that we're playing which is Bolton wonders look Arsenal have been quite ruthless in this window in terms of the outgoing they've decided that Vieira Smith row and ke they don't have a big part to play going forward so they've wanted to get move those players on of course we are all here kind of waiting patiently hoping for something big on the incomings front but Arsenal should be able to dip into their squad whether it be a front three of I don't know uh Jesus Nelson Martinelli like is that your front three that might be your front three because you've got have a sacka trossard is probably the starting front three at the moment you could go in weri georgino and Marino and that is the three that haven't started on the weekend against Villa you know there's quality there there's depth so my expectation is that arsenal of course go into this with you know full expectation that they can actually rotate all 11 maybe Yan Garcia starting goal we'll see and then hopefully you know not hopefully the expectations absolutely must get to the next round I'll be gutted if we go out this competition not because it's Bolton at home but because my word like we need we need a cut run and we we want some silverware but let's talk about Bolton a little bit more detail so three games they've had in League one this season one win one draw one defeat they were obviously in the Premier League around 200 well 20078 my way my word that they had some fun with us didn't they like you we struggled against Sam allise teams I remember them beating Man United and they used to be a really really difficult uh you know Club to to face who do they have um was it El du JJ I'm I'm sure had Nicholas Andel as well you know yeah they had Nicholas andela as well yeah yeah had some Ballers um they' had some and we struggled I remember going to their ground and we went 2-n down and down to 10 men I think and we ended up winning 3-2 I mean incredible turnaround HB fabrigas all them playing in that game I remember also going to two- n down at the Emirates um against them this was kind of later on when they were not quite the same side post samal you know not long after they got relegated obviously Jack Wilshire was there on loan which is interesting I think but what's kind of funny is that again we went two-nil down to them at the Emirates Thomas rosiki scored a banger and you know kind of that era of Arsenal we faced Bolton quite a few times of course them being in the Premier League um but you know they they dropped down the division they dropped quite a few divisions and you know they've had kind of problems as a club um but got themselves together in League one um and will be excited to for a trip to to the Emirates um so you know we' we've had some you know go back 10 years maybe not 10 years go back 15 years a little bit more than that we had some battles with Bolton so um yeah I'm excited for it it's gonna be it's gonna be a good game especially for a club like Bolton as well they like you said they've had Premier League Heritage they've been in the Premier League for for many years and some big names there some that you just you know Jed some of my memories I remember JJ kotcher famously being an incred cred streets W forget player when he was there but like you're you're right there James and sorry I keep I kept looking down at my phones mainly near the beginning of this video as well because I was trying to work out again like you mentioned about the dates but I did remember them saying as well on the draw they said that the dates may not be confirmed due to you know the new Champions League draw the new the new way is set out and some of the European games played so some of the dates may not be fully confirmed yet obviously the we watched I watched the the Kow Cup draw but I think the W ones be looking for to tomorrow's one which will be going live to on AFV is the Champions League draw but I think that's when we might get full confirmation of certain dates of when these games going to be happening but like you mentioned it is Bolton at home um well Arsenal at home against Bolton and I was also looking down at my phone as well just to give some of the I will we'll talk about b a littleit more as well I just want to give some of the other fixures around the teams that are you know the big teams in the Premier League so it's Liverpool versus West Ham um in round three Man City versus Watford which again man it always seems like Man City have a favorable run maybe I'm being NAA bias I'm sure they was have quite a favorable run in this competition um Arsenal versus Bolton of course Newcastle they Newcastle away last year who knocked them out in the in the third round which was obviously the first round they played so so I think City fans might dispute I know what you mean man united are the ones who always get a home draw which is like yeah man United versus Barnsley as well so they and then but at home man united but also centry versus um Tottenham cry at home yeah W Villa see you see with Wickam and centry centry in the championship last year they you know had a good run in the FA Cup that's an awkward one for Tottenham yes it's a championship team away from home but it's awkward it's it's like oh you know it can be a bit like it just be a bit I don't know U not not nasty you know what I mean they they've done well last season they they they they was United didn't they play they they caused them a lot of problems I mean I mean it' be interesting to see what happen that in that game but um yeah but like I said going on to going back to Bolton I think like I said the top of this as well we should be very comfortable in in in getting the job done League one side and yeah man I'm I'm I'm quite I'm happy I'm happy I'm confident I'm like my main focus is on tomorrow's draw the Champions League which I feel like we may have a less feable opponent I think it might be quite tricky I feel like the first game in the new style format I think they're going to try and set us up I think for this one round three in the cowo cup competition I think we should go strong on um yeah I'm quite happy and you mentioned some of the players I mean even if you see a ree Nelson or a Mars leis Skelly I still expect these players to be able to get the job done over um B wanders so yeah man happy happy I think every AR fans should be happy at that I think there anything no should really complain about that draw at all think it's favorable well so just to confirm what this Sky Sports saying that the ties will be played uh the week commencing of September 16th and September 23rd so we will fall either side of that of course depending on what goes on with this Champions League draw which we're going to find out about tomorrow but I'm not sure if Champions League have their set dates um which might be the 17th 18th 19th because I think some Champions League football's getting played on a Thursday so I wonder whether that automatically pushes us to the week after but we're going to find that all out when we got that draw AI generated may I say so we're going to be finding out tomorrow we'll be live on AFV to see who our fixes are when they are and a reminder that with that competition they have changed the system and the format so we will be playing eight games as part of a league phase that everybody is in but you will be playing eight different teams four of them at home and Fall Away not the same four at home that you play away so we could play Real Madrid at the burnout Barcelona at the Emirates AC Milan at the sanero Bayern Munich at the Emirates and so on so forth and I think there is a seeding system which means that you can only get a certain amount of top top clubs but of course you know the way it's all planning out there's a good chance you're playing quite a lot of
