what's up you guys and welcome to the next artsy online reaction I think the last one I did was uh for Pokemon scarlet and violet um this time we're gonna be watching the direct live uh live chats going on and they're going nutso because it's gonna start in about eight minutes um don't really have many expectations going in I've said this a couple of times once this direct was announced I'm saying that if Metroid Prime 4 doesn't get like announced here or shown a trailer or anything then it's Metroid Prime 4 is almost definitely going to be on the next switch console because the switch is nearing the end of its life I think I think uh we're in sixth year now and by 2024 it'll be its seventh year and that's usually around the time when companies start wanting to push for the next console um aside from that uh it would be cool to see a new f-zero game I mean let's see we've had F0 for the Super Nintendo f0x for the N64 F0 GX for the GameCube and also f0ax so f05 would uh probably be F0 s e x I'm totally kidding um wait a second I forgot to hit the wrong oh yeah also uh let me get rid of that also just to add on I thought of this later on but we're definitely gonna see tears of the Kingdom that comes out in May if we don't see here we're probably gonna get our own uh Legend of Zelda direct or something but we we probably will see that here I'm hoping we get like a full reveal trailer it's probably gonna be something they either start with or end with it would make more sense to start with because they usually like announcing new stuff right at the end um but yeah if they started with tears of the Kingdom that would make so much sense and we're actually like getting like what the game's gonna be about because all the trailers so far for tubes of the Kingdom have just been like very vague and we've barely seen any gameplay um I think we've gotten a grand total of three trailers the reveal the like the teaser and then like the second teaser and technically all three of them have been teasers we haven't gotten like a full-on like trailer like this is what the game is about and [ __ ] like that um what else is coming out this year uh I mean Hogwarts Legacy just came out I don't even know if that's on switch I don't even know if they've announced it for that yet but that would make a lot of sense if they announced that here because switch ports usually come out at different times um not all the time but sometimes when it's harder to develop for the switch then they just come out much later I mean look at the gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out for the Xbox one versus coming out for the switch and they didn't even really come out for the switch it was like a cloud version um I don't think we'll see more Pikmin 4 but if we did maybe they'll have like a rough estimate on when the game's gonna come out this year um there was a leak online that I saw I'm not gonna say what the date said but someone did say that there was a leak online that said Pikmin 4 is getting a release date and if it's gonna be revealed in this direct that would make a lot of sense why it got leaked yesterday um I do want to see more I want a more I want more Mario whether it be a new sports game like Mario baseball or a new platformer I would love to see that um because Mario Odyssey came out on the switches um release year on 20 in 2017. and since we're getting a new Zelda it would make sense if we got a new Mario I know it's like two different teams and all that but I mean like I don't know I'm not saying necessarily Odyssey 2 but if if they wanted to do the Galaxy thing where they made a sequel where it's just more of the same because of that mechanic being so unique um I'd be fine with that I think the Cappy mechanic uh is something that could definitely be a little deeper um like they could do more with it and they didn't even have every single Mario enemy in Odyssey so they have more enemies they could work with and things that you can copy off of or like capture as the game calls it I would be happy to see that other than that I'm just excited that we're getting a brand new Nintendo Direct right now it feels like it's been forever since the last one um hopefully this isn't the only direct to get this year um because I heard that Nintendo's not going to E3 neither is Sony neither is Microsoft so E3 is going to be kind of dead for announcements but maybe they'll uh talk about what they got coming up for next year I don't know we'll see uh direct is starting very shortly so um join us as we dive into a Nintendo Direct live stream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information obviously focused on Nintendo switch games launching in the first half of 2023. it's 2 p.m now did I'm sure though I'm sure they'll start it yeah there it is yep there it is let's see okay yep that is loud turn down my headset it shouldn't be loud for you I adjusted the volume settings in OBS so should be fine I want to at least be able to hear myself think all right are we starting with Zelda foreign oh we're starting with Pikmin hell yeah okay so the leak was real or wait oh come on please oh the music oh dude oh this looks so good a blow hog fiery blowhog new little birds that's a new ship that's so small who are you oh look at the onions oh that's what Miyamoto meant by the camera being like a little more on the ground level it's like more behind you now whereas like in the other games it was like above you oh that's interesting oh you get some really cool perspective shots with that let's see so red yellow and blues okay of course can't have a picnic whoa we're just like in somebody's backyard whoa ice Pikmin it looks like rock Pikmin but like taller so if he eats oh that I did not think of that that's genius wait can you freeze water yo that's awesome what are you multiversal poochie you can play as pooch Shepherd that's a new character dude what what a twist it would be if this is one of olimar's kids right here that you're playing as Colin too wow there's a lot of new characters oh this fucker's back emperor pullbacks wait are the caves back for Pikmin too I'm I'm not a big fan of those uh this is a weird looking crew oh that's a bigger ship whoa release date oh no no Charlie's not done yet wait you could play at night 7 21 2023 okay so the leak was wrong it did not say that date July it's coming out in July awesome hell yeah a dog-like creature was spotted he is spotted yes Nintendo switch headlines all right lay it on me I've never played us oh I actually played a little bit of the first Xenoblade but I never really got into the series this game looks fine say hello to Masha the newest she looks fine the music's so good wow select only one character and battle wave after wave of enemies for every win you'll learn more Heroes and special abilities With Your Heroes I swear to God monolith soft is really good at optimizing graphics on the switch this looks really good a reward and then there's freaking Game Freak he's a heartless machine I'm probably getting spoiled but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game Launches on the Nintendo switch system February 15th oh that's in a few days good for you Xenoblade fans somebody amigo I was not expecting this series to come back wait that's pretty fun actually Muse Dash kind of got me loving Rhythm games again this looks really fun I might get this where is this sombrero scores in each round will be eliminated oh it's like a battle royale rhythm game nice [Music] this looks this looks really cool Central shimmies onto Nintendo switch this summer this summer for fashion fashion uh maybe this art style looks familiar tons of people are seeking the latest trends give them a like if you dig their Style or suggest new outfits for them to grow as an influencer now it's time for fashion design choose from over 1 000 design options I'm still here I'm just I got nothing to say other people are wearing by liking them alliances you for I've always loved the aesthetic of Tron it's so cool I'll pass turns in HD after kicking that's HD and control objects with your powers you can even help others like this woman and change any ill-fated uh thanks Ghost Trick Phantom detective Spirits onto Nintendo switch this summer another summer Thriller no no no yeah the chasm oh I like this art style whoa his name's Harvard whoa a lot going on decapolis oh this is that Bayonetta spin-off that was shown at the game awards yeah [Music] prison mother she Ventures deep into the Avalon Forest ruled by fairies I'm coming I'm probably going to become this looks like a way different game Cheshire you'll control both witch and Demon at the same time harness or raises magic and cheshire's ferocity to travel through this mysterious and dangerous Forest they'll need to work together in battle as well is it real-time combat it is I thought it was going to be turn based it looks a little interesting strategically use each character's abilities to win battles the duo will gain strength as they continue their Journey New Paths can be opened and battles can be more easily swayed in your favor looks like it's pretty substantial too March 17th pre-orders are available now on Nintendo eShop that's a maybe what is this I am excited for this Splatoon 3 next flat Fest or DLC no it's too early for DLC wait a Subway we'll get knocked out expansion flashbacks wait hold on is this the town from Splatoon one expansion pass yeah it's incopolis make this splatastic place that's cool oh yeah spot a few familiar faces is in game look at that to explore every nook and cranny of the island reminds me of Rayman cross large chasms with Boost some nice music too can't go wrong with 2D Platformers shines through in their actions up to four Pals locally can Brave the island share a hug for extra help it's like Kirby jumps or drop a rope to lend a hand work together to save monoff and you might discover New Paths while epilogue to regain magalore's Powers you'll need to collect magic points by defeating enemies with magic points different abilities it's a whole ass RPG the order in which you restore his powers is up to you I like this on the same system can Venture through I never played the original Return to Dreamland so like not only am I getting a whole new game that I haven't played I'm also getting new content with that too you can access this new epilogue after clearing story mode well yeah that makes sense after today's Nintendo Direct a demo will be available on Nintendo eShop oh this game looks so good I love the graphics it's gonna be weird going back to a 2d Kirby game after playing forgotten land so much are available but I'm pretty excited I am what if they do GameCube games I'm buying it oh Game Boy Oh The Game Boy makes sense actually Game Boy games are being added to Nintendo switch online sweet on Nintendo switch you can play these games anytime anywhere just like you could back in the day [Music] of course Tetris has to be there I heard this game's really good The Legend of Zelda links Awakening DX awaken the wind fish to escape covalent Island I already played links Awakening gargoyle's Quest save the ghoul realm Aspire brand from The Ghost and Goblin series oh Firebrand from Marvel vs Capcom 3. wow riveting alone in the dark the zombies also Game Boy Color games are coming too oh I remember this game I actually played this on the Game Boy when I was a kid 3. Traverse a world that changes between day and night based on your actions I would love to play the original Wario lands too that makes sense Kirby's debut title developed by Masahiro Sakurai oh thank God why would you ever use the Game Boy filter that green is so ugly the future oh Pokemon TCG tempting but it's not GameCube huh oh Game Boy Advance oh [ __ ] yeah I Love Game Boy Advance games are being added to Nintendo switch online plus expansion pack here are the games that you can play at launch Super Mario Advance 4. 60 levels from the Nintendo accessory the e-reader games I remember this game huh never heard of this yo super Circuit that's a good game never played Minish Cap miniature size and dive into a big adventure local and online play is supported for compatible games [ __ ] yeah I Love Game Boy advanced games Amazing Mirror Fusion wait F0 maximum velocity I never heard of that titles with the Nintendo switch online membership or play both Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles with a Nintendo switch online plus expansion pack membership oh so you can get Game Boy games without having expansion okay select Game Boy titles will be playable on Nintendo switch and after today's Nintendo Direct you'll be able to play the game boy and Game Boy Advance titles we introduced sweet please look forward to more information about Nintendo switch online and Nintendo switch online plus expansion pack in the future the expansion pack is getting more and more valuable each day the original Metroid Prime foreign oh it looks so good fedrana drifts wait let me see Samus oh does it play like a twin stick oh my God it looks so good oh I'm so happy right now look at that oh metric Prime I missed this game oh it looks so good it looks like it's keeping its original controls remastered collection of both button kaido's games originally released never heard of it this is a funny looking f-zero closer Spirits dwelling within the protagonists you'll stand up to the Empire across two different eras of War during your travels you'll visit various locales and team up with like-minded allies battles are fought using cards called Magnus your attack power is determined by the attributes and combinations of your cards which are randomly dealt from the deck in these real-time battles you'll need to make split-second decisions to Edge closer to Victory what Revelations will come to light in the skies above and the lands below thought in kaidos it sure does RPG exploring the once thriving Island I think this direct is making me realize how little franchises I actually know about then travel between past and present to make the island your own terraforming what is this Animal Crossing Paladin magician and more take on different roles cool if you're excited about it I don't really care wow so oh is that a Professor Layton yeah it is that'd be funny if it came out on Steam wave four baby what is that Yoshi's Island yo she oh the music wait they're adding
