The hurricanes have traveled into enemy territory to kick off their season against the rival Gators. >> Cam Ward and the canes boarding the buses in Coral Gables yesterday, heading to the airport. Then a short flight to Gainesville and a walkthrough in the swamp. Ahead of today's big game, we had a chance to speak one on one with canes head coach Mario Cristobal, who told us what it means to him to be back coaching at his alma mater. Unfortunately there was a pretty good sized hole dug, but we've never shied away from work. >> We're not afraid of it. We're not afraid of the punches and the lumps that come with it. I think Miami needed that, needed someone that could weather the, you know, the storm and deal with all this stuff and just keep going and keep going and keep moving forward. And now we're we're closing in, you know, every single day, every single week, every single month . We're closing in more and more on what Miami needs to look like . >> And as our crew arrived in Gainesville yesterday, we saw what you might expect a lot of blue and orange, but also some green and orange. >> You had some canes fans in Gainesville trying to turn it into a canes town.
