play a little bit of ranked here in a little bit but we're going to uh finish off uh the team Affinity uh for chapter 2 season one chapter two uh I'm almost done and I am three cards away from Al ligher two cards away from uh that I'll get from finishing this and then we'll just buy another uh cheap card in the marketplace and uh and finish it all up and we can debut out ligher in ranked Seasons because we're on Hall of Fame and I figure that's a good card to get so that's what we're going to work on um I've got a few things we we're doing here we'll finish a showdown I've got the final showdown to do real quick we can cash in some vouchers then we'll go play a couple of Conquest games until we finish out uh stats with the AL Central um and everything there and we'll uh and we'll knock it out but then then we'll go on to rank for a couple games at least today Antonio what's going on man how are you doing you guys uh that are just joining here this morning if you're points away from the BR pack very nice very nice to John I don't know if you heard anyone else having the same issue but I won three Conquest games and didn't didn't get the stronghold um closure game close your game sometimes it'll just give it to you when you close your game and go back in um either that it'll I don't know other than that I I'm not sure you may have to start it over but on the US map yeah you might have just send him a support ticket or something possibly but yeah it you should be able to just back out close your app reopen it and go back in it should it should give it to you or you play it again and you'll be fine that's what most people have said they've done so all right here's Cedric mes we got to get three runs off of dble 20 outs to get him well you know I was going when when they're little like you'll you'll look at them when they're babies like be like 6 months and then all a sudden like at seven months or so you'll look at them and you'll be like oh man that's trippy like I just suddenly noticed you look older or different there'll be just like something that you that that clicks you know but yeah but congrats man it' be awesome it's it's fun it's fun these in for the American League West uh and then I think maybe three Showdown Games should get this completed for or three uh Conquest games will probably get it done for us uh in the conquest because I think I get another voucher also which will finish the West so hold on a second let's let's go in here real quick uh wait I'm in the wrong thing wrong thing all right American League West good day but a great day try Diamond Dynasty but a really really terrible player it's okay you can be a terrible player and still get everything done in Diamond Dynasty luckily most of it just takes Innings right and you can get there the the the couple of game modes that take wins you could get a couple of wins blindfolded with one arm so it's you know you like you'll just from disconnects over time playing through it and grinding it you'll get them but uh but yeah most everything just takes a little bit of grind right that's all and you'll get better right the the the longer you play it you'll get better at it you know those of you guys who go in and and uh and and get nervous because you have a bad experience one time don't give up right away listen if it's not for you I'm not trying to tell you to do something that makes you unhappy or or that you don't like also you know but step outside the comfort zone just a little bit at the same time you know because you're never going to get uh used to it unless you unless you get in there and and mess around with it a little bit right just need Innings homers and RBI and rank yep it's not too terribly bad I'll take that uh that uh the Met City connect jerseys were added so I would assume with a new random Conquest Pro most likely I'm assuming unless it's an Earth Day map or something but they're little you know just completely up to you but you were you were asking about XP so in was asking a question on uh uh in on a comment on a video about about earning XP and and uh if he had enough time to be able to finish and stuff and and so I was telling him about extra ways to earn XP aside from the 15,000 gameplay cap you know that you get each day the 15,000 so inside of many seasons you know you can get that one time on the play through the bonus XP in there and doing those missions um and playing through team Affinity you'll get it uh but playing online in in uh in the ranked program in the BR Pro they just walked it off dude I just lost Altuve [ __ ] are you kidding the Astros beat me I wasn't paying attention man I got beat uh in Conquest game that's awful all right well whatever we just need attributes anyway so I don't really care about the wins but we we'll keep going God damn that's embarrassing to start oh man but yeah uh ranked program BR program uh events uh they give little bonuses throughout it's not a ton but you know you want to get every bit that you possibly can along the way you're about halfway done with infinity right now Sean uh but I feel like I'm wasting time getting cards I'm not going to use uh Affinity see I never tried online but my team is the Brewers and I need that Easter yellich so I'm going to have to hop on for those e yeah I've got a video for all the Easter eggs for you too um yep um well I mean it's all about collections right you're not going to use most of the cards most of the cards that you get in this game you'll never use uh that's how that 50,000 XP like you just started 380k is a third of the way through I mean you're third of way a third of the way done man will they raise the cap yeah it'll it yeah it'll probably go up to double yeah last year so in years's past the cap was always 60k and the during Double XP it would go to 90 it wouldn't double but this year with it being so low I'd be shocked if it didn't go to 30 to to double yeah I mean if if you're playing a lot and that's all you're playing then yeah you can still get quite a bit in there I'm up right now I think I have like 760 760,000 something like that almost 760 something like that but I'm looking to get to spin that wheel for a month you know what I mean like I want to spin that wheel at the end for a month so I think I've got plenty as well I mean that's what I'm saying I think if you had a half of what I've got you're still going to be okay will what's going on man you're new to the game at baseball in general what does it mean when I'm at bat and under a player card it says Power contact or balanced well okay A a power card is going to be more home run driven right he's going to be hitting the ball a little hard a little farther uh try to hit the ball with power with power right just strength power uh so a contact hitter is kind of what we can we call a slap hitter right so they're trying to like base hits singles doubles in the gaps maybe they're a speedy player too some sometimes they got a lot of speed on a contact guy cuz if they put something in the Gap man they can run and make a make up for it you know their power with uh with a little bit of speed a balanced player is going to be one that's got both power and contact both so they're kind of a you know an allaround allaround good hitter like that so yeah Robert you're at 110 Robert you might have trouble finishing at 110 you might have trouble finishing I'm I'm thinking I don't want to say impossible because I'll never say that but I don't know mathematically if it would be Fitness what's going on man how are you doing this morning I hope that makes sense though will him Jose Abu at the plate oh [ __ ] that's a double play he's so slow but we did get two runs here at least so far so that's okay I'll take my two Frankie f Francisco Lindor yeah so like uh actually I'll show you for a second so this one right here shows he's a power card right the guy I've got here Francisco Lindor uh oops I was trying to show you the other thing my bad my controller is going crazy all right so it show he's a power card now over 70 power on the attributes here is kind of like the threshold for power so he's got over 70 now I would consider consider this almost a balance card because he has really high contact against left-handed pitchers right here at 104 the reason he didn't get Balan though is because of the 60 so if it was a little bit higher if it probably cleared 70 or 75 he probably would be considered a balanced card on here currently building Dodgers uh Team for for Diamond Dynasty and finding the the bullpens and Outfitters are very are very weak are very weak well you got to get uh I mean it'll take some time still before you get cards for that but I mean hell their their current live Series team is pretty darn darn good it's all good it's just a game after that's true man it's all good awesome bro I was uh I was a bit confused thought maybe I uh I need to use Circle for contact players in square well no there there are time listen I have a video for you I'll tell you what will hold on just one second I'm gonna put if if you want to watch it I'll put it in here I've got a video that tells about when to use power swing when to use contact swing and when to use normal swing in the game because there is a time for each um and not a lot of people will I don't know not a lot of people believe in this kind of method but it's a real baseball method right about real about real baseball if you want to check this one out it'll it'll explain that that's that's the link for the video right there um it's from last year's game but it still holds up to to now it's it's the exact same so it'll it'll it'll still make sense but yeah there so there is a time to use each but um and and sometimes with those players it can but the power swing is one that you should rarely ever use rarely ever use unless you're a top player at this game like a really like one of the best I'm not I don't I don't use it I played one spring training game then send the regular season and now you can play okay okay and now you can play it gotcha I gotta it's funny they made Lindor a power card uh as uh as Indian when he was with the Indians he has with the Guardians with the Guardians he has more contact for yeah yeah I don't know weird captain card is mixing two teams with two captains bad for Diamond Dynasty uh no no not at all no you can do whatever you want man yeah you can you can have a pitching captain and a hitting Captain so they can be from a different from different teams it's just going to be harder to get to tier three right you're not going to be able to get to tier three with both of them I don't believe love this game even though I get distro that's all good man that's that's the most important part Willi is if you're having a good time having fun that's what this game's all about man I try to tell people and try to try to nail it home to people all the time in if you're not going to be a top player at this game what are you what are you stressing about being a God for right right just have fun it's a video game right we're supposed to have fun doing this it's supposed to be a downtime and entertainment and uh a way to a way to chill and relax so you got to try to have fun this is one of your favorite sports games of the year as long as I'm having fun playing the game I going keep playing it yeah contact swing is good if you got two strikes power swings uh I don't think you need to use it yeah not many people will yeah yeah check it out man definitely yeah it's very helpful if we're batting right-handed he would be a contact hitter but Lefty is power hitter because he has more power power the uh Derek Jeter Captain card you get it from playing through storylines the Derek Jeter story lines I've got a video on it but it it shows you play through all of those at the very end you get this Derek Jeter Captain card and he boosts all of those cards but you only have to use three of them to get it to tier three so you know it's kind of nice when you want to mix in a a pitcher or something from a different team and and you know it kind of gives you you can get the other one to tier three also so you can use both those at tier three it's it's an option but yeah you get the you get the Jeter from the story lines mode uh access at the main menu of the game and then uh the Negro Leagues one is good as well yeah and the Jeter card is great great contact card uh the Paulo Neil card is a great contact card as well Jorge pada good switch hitting card he's a it's a gold it's a gold card but honestly he plays like a diamond catcher at tier three I mean it's there's no reason to not consider him diamond in my opinion there's a shot Mau with the bomb just barely gets over top of the yellow line next time Lindor bat's right-handed oh okay okay wa okay so if he comes up and he's game and you had 99s all year and and a lot of the community we hated that we'd never had that before we thought we wanted it it wasn't great so they went back to what they considered the power creep this year so like when the game started you know 85s to 87s are the diamonds or the 9 you know not 99s and slowly throughout the season over the course of the season the power of the overall number will creep up to a 99 so by the time we're at the end of each season 99s will be the the overalls that are coming out for each uh and then it'll start over each season go back to the power creep now I hope they start at like a 80 you know like a couple numbers higher each season so by the time we get to season 4 I hope it's all 99s period that would be ideal in my opinion but I I'm not sure what their what their plan is for that but yeah that's that's what the power creeps consider what we what we all call it oh [ __ ] wait jeez I worry about that with uh with you Tom I know did you sell off your live series the season two thing what do you mean worry about me about what I I hate live series cards I refuse to use live series cards I never I never have I never will what are you what are with right Xbox controller is perfect if perfect is backwards to you then sure yeah I mean it makes no it makes no sense it it doesn't make sense with the design of the human hand it makes no sense whatsoever it's uncomfortable because of the positioning like you have to like lock your thumb up weird like this to put it up in there as opposed to having it down here which is just where your hands naturally set it's very strange to me I don't know it was the biggest adjustment I had switching to Xbox I hate that about Xbox I will always hate that about Xbox I still think the joystick is in the that guy tried to come in and say that you you should use meter to be good which is fine you can use whatever you want but I've that's an opinion i' I I mean you know you usually hear everybody saying no it's pin pinpoint or nothing bro pinpoint or nothing bunch of nerds talking about certain interfaces because their favorite streamer tells them I know dude it's so crazy I always get a kick out of people coming in here trying to trying to give me advice or telling me I should do things different and I'm like do I come to your job and tell you what how you should be I'm not a Karen so no I don't we'll get the card with our missions and stuff that we're doing yeah I think we'll probably go into BR I'm at 88 points so we can get the Flawless card tomorrow get it earned in here and have a good
