gaffa 2-1 win here against Solly Hall Moos again three wins on the bounce um brilliant game today different type of win though uh yeah uh brilliant game not not quite so sure I agree with that but um obviously home win uh some set out set out to do so um obviously to to get the three points get the win that was the most important thing of most important outcome of the evening um obviously we've got some bumps and bruises along the way which is disappointing and um um on the whole it was a it was a different type of performance to get to get three points today yeah F start today how important was that against a good sidence o oror yeah we we felt that um on the back of the game at the weekend there's a lot of energy with in the group and we we said let's let's get that on the pitch as early as we can um and we got our rewards for that um and then it did feel like a long game after that um you know our second half performance didn't keep the ball as well as we'd like um and you know we we know what the challenge is with with Soo and they're very good at you know the balls in the wide areas and and sort of pass the movement in in and around the the box and we knew that that was going to be issues for us and it's interesting that we kind of dealt with that part of the game really well um they scored in a a different type of goal for them so um I sound like I'm being negative I'm I'm really pleased with the performance really pleased with the um with the three points and and obiously it keeps our own form going Jake Taylor two and two yeah yeah inter in that um but again you know at the end of the season um you know me and Jake had a conversation about what he's capable of and I felt that there was more to come from Jake and you know he's a he's a great age great experience um you know he's had a promotion in the past and you know we wanted him to to lead a bit more on the pitch and he's certainly done that with his performan we brought in younger Liv just touching on there on on the more experienced player we brought in younger lives today but how important is to still have that foundations of of those players with experience and and knowing what promotion feels like um well obviously um you know an age thing isn't really about experience it's you you obviously the older you get the more more experience you're gain but you know you can you can we we've we've managed to bring in a uh a group of players that uh are hungry for success and um success is different for each individual um obviously we're trying to get a group that uh want to be ambitious and having guys that have been promoted before you know that can rub off on on young players and the the feeling we've got at the moment is that we got a good balance in the group um there's good Harmony in the group and you know I think we've started the season pretty well um but you know that can change in a blink of an eye and it's about you know keeping the the group discipline keeping the group um enjoying what we do um and we we'll see where we are in a few weeks and uh see where we need to improve but on the whole that experience has given us a bit of a foundation and the young Lads have given us a bit of legs and a bit of energy that maybe we didn't have last Seas I think a word that I personally would use to describe that performance was discipline would you agree with that um yeah I think we could have had more of it at times but um the word I used at halim was control let's let's control the game Let's control the ball a bit more let's control the the uh our own actions and and when we press and when we don't press and I think second half there was one or two moments where we probably lost a little bit of control but on the whole um although we didn't have a lot of the ball second half I still felt like we had reasonable control of the game and just finally we move on to in them on the weekend it'll be a difficult place to go it has been for for eastley in recent years what kind of test will they provide um well it's it's away from home so it's a different Dynamic it's a it's a trek obviously on the back of tonight's game um so we know that we got to recover the boys really well um and again they're they're a team that you know I haven't looked at them too much as yet I don't like to look too far ahead um but you know every team in the league expects to do well at home and I'm sure sure there'd be no different perfect thank you thank you
