to be talking all things aew all in we're your host I'm Boris and as always I am joined bye Matt well guten to bonjourno and a healthy bonjour to all of our Europe constituents by God Boris it is aew's WrestleMania it's a big old wrestling show and a big old stadium all in morning feeling good today man feeling nice nice got a little a little coffee going in a TFC mug shout out the city of Toronto yeah man it's it's it's a beautiful morning great start to the day we're going to be chatting all things wrestling here uh for those of you who are wondering where we are you can just go to A+ Community here we're bringing up one of the other wrestling co-host here uh you know him through Andre and melb shows he talks about New Japan Pro Wrestling sternum among other things he is Andre Andre what up hello boys how you doing good man beautiful beautiful it's really early for you yeah 7:37 a.m. baby oh that's funny all kinds of time zones represented here in A+ Productions on our first uh a probably only morning preview show of the year but it makes sense every time there's a big rling show in Europe except for the one that's next weekend for bashad Berlin but talk about that offline big European show big European show well it's a tradition indeed uh starting now carried over from the last place but yeah man it's going to be a pretty good show I think before we get into the the individual matches here on the card what are some of your like you know big picture thoughts about aew coming into this all in 2024 honestly Matt for me aw has been struggling like let's let's let's let's call a SP Spade here it's not the same it's not your papy aew from 5 years ago um you know they've had their ups and their downs they had probably a few more Downs than UPS people want to focus on the Downs though uh but you know if you look at where they are right now I honestly believe that this is their time to restart you know repackage things have a new you know have a new start and I think that you know similar to what WrestleMania is for WWE I think aw really needs to turn the all in Mantra into it's a new season let's get this going and I I really do hope the best for aw you know that over the next few weeks so important for aw with all in all out and well they're looming TV deal there's still a lot of rumors and you know whatever everyone's talking about this but at the end of the day we don't know what's going on with that hoping for the best let's be honest WWE is as hot right now because of aews just the fact that they even on the scene we need aew we need competition I think a lot of people forget how shitty wrestling was in the early 2000s it was garbage like d like that's when I became a fan but as I look back and I go wow there's some there's some rough stuff in the 2000s and early 2010s and just and even later 2010s before aw came around there were some really bad stuff and there's some great nuggets in all of it but ew lit a fire under w you can see them how they pulled their pants up with NXT uh how they did it with the main roster and just with uh with just the changing with Changing of the Guard in the last couple years has really given the product there an upgrade where aw hasn't had that upgrade and have have lost some key components but I think they're in a really good spot rebuilding the company right now and building you can see them on the rise they've got good stories got good people they're building around and it the future of the company I to me looks really good because it's got some real positive momentum if as long as 10 works out well I think there's positive momentum coming out of Allin it when it when at the end of the day yeah I agreed man like it's so important uh that that you know everyone looks forward at this point Matt what do you think yeah that's just it like aw it's like uh like Andre just said man the wrestling business was pretty bad and the early 2000s like 2000 to 2005 right around 2007 when Beno passed away the whole benwa tragedy I shouldn't say passed away brutally murdered his family himself um anyway Chris when Chris benwell happened before that wrestling was kind of in a decent place and since 2007 it was pretty bad aw came around in 2019 in a in a down business and fil major hole it actually produced a really good show it was universally loved and approved at first like most things you know that starts to spoil we start to see some some you know chinks in the armor and such but yeah I think the biggest problem with aw right now is that their biggest asset went away and their biggest asset was Vince McMahon's cility their biggest asset was the fact that WWE had dropped the ball for at least a decade if not more so now WWE is kind of good again it's in good hands with Triple H the main reason for aw to exist doesn't really exist anymore although on uh on on the level of the talent on the level of the people actually working in the wrestling business obviously it's a huge win that aw exists more jobs More Money More exposure for these people trying to apply their craft right you see a lot of older wrestlers and a lot of like geriatric wrestling fans who just hate aw and want it to fail and it's very strange I'll never understand that yeah go ahead exactly I was just going to say and they hide it with I love aew but it's kind of like the whole you know anyways but that's to each their own you know here we we love talking positive about wrestling you know we're wrestling fans at the end of the day right so that's that talking about today's all in you know the card I'm I'm staring up and down at the card we're going to talk about that in just a few seconds I'm like you know what this kind of feels and this is going to sound kind of funny like one of those old WWE pay-per-views like from the past like you know 20 17 18 19 20 where you look at the card and nothing really ex excites you per se but you know that it's going to be a good show at the end of the day 100% 100% like there's a couple like I I'm looking forward like I'm a big stardom fan so Mariah May uh in in in with Tony storm I'm really excited to see that again the banner behind me I'm a huge will lpre fan so I'm always excited to see what it is but again the match well good been built up well again it doesn't pop but I know it's going to deliver because it's a freaking ospray and it's mjf like yep exactly once again thank you to everyone who's watching if you're listening to this later on in podcast form we do do some live shows this is just one of positive for this show Absolutely yeah well for one aew pay-per-views always deliver literally 100% uh like every single one has been pretty good to great um last year Allin was an awesome show not without its drama backstage and whatever but the actual product that we got was pretty great I thought it was a really entertaining amazing show and there's no reason to think that this is going to be much worse than that I truly believe that the main event is probably the biggest match in aew history I can't think of one off the top of my head that's bigger than Brian danielson's career versus swerve Strickland's title in front of 50,000 or more people in Wembley Stadium in one of the rare retirement matches where you could actually see either side win realistically I would not be surprised at all if swerve Strickland won and I would not be surprised at all if Brian Danielson won in front of his family you can actually see the match going either way so this is it's a very exciting show man I'm pumped it's going to be a good Sunday morning afternoon for this guy yeah yep exactly it that's exactly a perfect way to put it man what's very interesting about that is that there is a stip in the casino Gauntlet match that I'm thinking might be used today we're going to talk about that in just a little bit guys shall we run through the card and then after I kind of want to talk about looking forward into aew and seeing what is coming because just two weeks from now they have another pay-per-view so let's get into aew all in Sunday August 25th starting at 1 p.m. Eastern 11 live from Wembley state England all right let's get to this uh during the Zero Hour we're going to be seeing Dustin Road Sammy gavar katur shabata and the Von Erics taking on the Undisputed kingdoms Matt Haven Mike Bennett our boys and cage of agonies Brian Cage Bishop KH and to Leona yes sir very nice to see Sammy gavara on the card I'm a Sammy fan I like Sammy I'm a Sammy truther good to see the Von Erics the hearted corpse of Dustin rhods now we love Dustin at this program Hall of Famer in anybody's book yeah this is the classic get them all on the show 10man tag but it's cool you know katori shabata the wrestler how crazy is it that we get to see him every week in aw having matches with like Brian Danielson and stuff it's uh this is what I mean like sometimes we lose sight of how truly special aw is and this is the kind of wacky thing that only aw can do I'm here for it yeah a 10man tag like that it's just it's a lot of fun and just it's there's there's some G to be there's G be some funny to it there's there's some heart to it there's gonna be some crazy action you know Samy gavar is gonna do something he always does something in big in at on big events doing a spin doing a f yeah all good sorry Andre but Sam's just always we had a little [Music] technical so if you can restart your that would be great yeah u i I love me some some like Samy VAR always gonna here comedy it's gonna be always something exciting to do there so I love C shabata for the last decade or more so like it's gonna be a good fun open open to to the pre- show open open to the the pre-show headphones Cu uh you're I agree Boris might have glitched out on us again Andre but we'll keep going there's another match on the pre-show a mixed tag team attraction Willow Nightingale is teaming up with uh is it is it not a stone Pitbull yes a stone P from njpw let's go let's go Willow Nightingale and Tomah hero E versus Chris statlander our girl here at A+ Productions and stokeley Hathaway possibly the funniest man in wrestling getting a chance to work that Bobby the bray Heenan role in the pre-show Boris how do you feel about the mixed tag team match you know what this match is uh is a long time coming uh you know it's not the willow Nightingale Chris statlander one-on-one that everyone thought would happen but this is just another step in the story and I'm here for it I think like you said this is the Bobby hean rule this is going to be a I I think you know stokeley haway going to add his humor into it so let's go let's do this let's have some fun also Matt again the sound is is really killing the the Stream yeah I can hear reverbing yeah I'm looking forward to the tag looking for to I want to see Stoke get his butt kick that it's that he of I love me some so who doesn't who doesn't love some Stone yep all right the other match that we have here is the casino gauntlet match for a future aew world title match that can happen at any point in time gentlemen gentlemen are we gonna see a money in the bank like cashing happening tonight I hate that idea I hope not man I think that's like people who say that you know aw doesn't come up with any new ideas and just retread everything it's pretty hard to argue against it if something like that happens like that is just it is a w WWE Trope that most wrestling fans are very beyond sick of in WWE it only has ever really existed in WWE for them to like use the the cash and the money in the bank gimmick at this juncture in 2024 I think is a little bit lazy I hope we don't see what a lot of people are predicting which is that the hangman Adam page wins this casino match and after the main event Cashes in on Brian Danielson to steal the world title from him I kind of hope we don't see it because we see it so often in wrestling it feels lazy unthought out just like I don't know feels like a stolen idea yeah I look at it as I I agree 100% with you yeah I look at it as like I like to see like Adam pagee come out after but stand on the stage just indicating I'm coming for you in two weeks something like that that I think probably and there right we'll see what what what what quote unquote cash in but in reality he makes his challenge for all out yeah that's kind of what you want see that's really what I'm hoping there yep yep all right the next match is the match that everybody including Matt is looking forward to for the FTW title Chris Jericho versus Hook all righty all righty I think we are having some more technical glitches and that is all right um so yeah we're talking about Chris Jericho versus Hook this is a match that you know a lot of people may or may not be looking forward to in their own way and that is okay um but yeah we'll see you know I'm not really this is one of those matches it is what it is Andre we're talking about Chris Jericho versus Hook ah this is my least favorite look forward mat this is my least look forward match on the show because I I I I still think Jericho can go in ring when he wants to and but I just I'm tired of him and I I like me some hook I never just I think the guy delivers every time he gets in there especially in his singles he he has that ability to really be very very good it just this match has no hook for me there's okay has no like draw for me in this one yeah no that's exactly it right and and I just think that there's just so much negative Aura around Jericho at this point right that this match is kind of like eh it is what it is yeah it just it's eh it's there I hope hook wins yep exactly Matt thoughts Jericho hook FTW tile uh hook has to win hook has to win I have I've been watching wrestling since I was three years old Boris we are all old men here but we're all in our late 30s to early 40s like I've been watching wrestling since 1990s since I was three years old love this business have seen a lot of it Japan Mexico I've really like watched and studied I love wrestling I have never ever in my life seen fans passionately chant please retire to a Hall of Fame wrestler that's next level it's a little cold it's at the point that the reception for Jericho is so bad that I actually feel bad for Chris Jericho and his wife who was in the January 6th riots yeah we'll see yeah it it's it's I don't know Jericho like I said there's just a lot of negative Aura around him at this point uh the next match that I want to talk about is a triple threat for the aew World Tag Team titles as we will see the Young Bucks versus FTR versus the acclaims Anthony Bowen and Max Caster off on this match this one's a weird one uh it again it kind of feels like they're just getting everyone on the card I'm sure it will be good in the ring it would be pretty hard for it not to be the Young Bucks too they're doing the the heel authority figure gimmick which was overplayed and tired in 2001 and it's 2024 and we're doing these ideas which just automatically keep your fan base at like an arms length I feel like it's hard to get into the Young Bucks right now doing this tired old Vince McMahon Eric bishof [ __ ] but I'm sure the match will be good as per usual with the Young Bucks they're spectacular in the ring they always have been they're very good it will be a good match in the ring I don't really care for the story at all and anything's gonna come out as Champs let's say FTR I I think the acclaimed are a little stale need a shake up they don't need the B there's no reason for the bucks to win let's say FTR crowd cheers everyone's happy yeah I look at the same way with FTR winning because again they claim are great I just don't think they're they need the titles they have they're over enough as they are and yeah their their gimmick is a little old yeah they could use some a freshening up of it and just the Bucks I I'm I'm done with the role they're playing I I just don't need to see it we just have your Authority stuff go away just like Christopher Dani be the on air Authority guy I'm fine with that it's not them running the show anymore please God no yeah it's it's just it's I feel tired with this right we've seen 30 years of this gimmick that's the thing I understand I understand why wrestling falls back on these tropes it's a very easy storytelling device it's a good way to get heat it's something for the Young Bucks to do at least they have interesting characters for the first time in a very long time probably for the first time since they've joined aw but at the same time it's just like yeah maybe interesting is isn't too much of a concession I don't know if it's that interesting it's something to do but we've just seen it so many times yep exactly it all right the next match is for the aew world trios titles the patriarchies Christian Cage kill switch and Nick Wayne versus bang bang gangs juice Robinson Austin gun and Colton gun versus House of black Malachi black Brody King and Buddy Matthews versus Pac and the Blackpool combat clubs claudo ceni and Wheeler UDA in a l match for the aew world trios championships this is gonna be pure zumanity man it's it's just gonna be a I I if this is what back where was it Wrestlemania 2000 or SummerSlam 2000 the TLC that's what this is It's just to give those the big spots to everybody I by purely of my heart I want to see the Bang Bang Gang get the titles back um I love me some Gus Robinson his unhinged Crazy Character makes me laugh every time I see him and I think I I really enjoy me some Austin and Colton gun I think they're both incredibly good in ring workers and they they've really come into their characters in these past like especially since joining up with uh Jay White and Juice Robinson I think really come into those little douchy characters that you want them to be they so good at it and I just this overall match everything's going to be crazy the spots are going to be nuts I I I look forward to seeing what they do in here the Pac and Blackpool team I'm just like well that was a team they made up in a in get guys on the card with the Lucha Brothers essentially out of aew right like get they they needed two other guys so I guess that's how this team was made yeah great call Boris I think that's exactly what happened pack is a natural fit for the Blackpool combat club that seems like they should just do that that could be a series of vignettes pack working his way into the club and then that could be a couple months of stories for sure but uh yeah this should be a decent match every time I see Christian in like an I Quit match or a ladder match or something like this I am reminded that the man retired from wrestling due to concussions not that long go he's an older gentleman as well this is going to be this is a dangerous match this is like staying at the end jumping off of balconies and getting thrown through glass plates like you don't have to work you don't have to work that hard and that dangerously for us Christian we appreciate it but it's all up and down the show there's people who have come back from severe concussion issues Brian Danielson katori shabata so yeah I am I am intrigued and scared and uh this should be messy good fun yep all right all right next is for the aew TNT title Jack Perry your Champion versus Darby Allen in a coffin match this is one this is like the oh this match is going to steal the show like sneaky lowkey all those things that people say lowkey sneaky this match is going to steal the show um I really like the the feud kind of like the the shade that Darby Allen's been throwing to Jack Perry uh on the internet on the worldwide web I don't know if you've heard about it Boris and Andre but uh yeah no this is two young hungry wrestlers in a big spot I think probably Jack Perry will win retain the TNT title with help due to some Shenanigans I think Darby Allen as has been reported on the dirt sheets and such places I think Darby Allen's going to get the aw World title sooner than later and then we will see Derby avenge his loss here to Jack Perry as world champion couple months down the road but yeah give me Jack Perry and I think this match is going to be great I know it makes awesome I say know makes were bad radio but I agree with mt I see Jack retaining but I think like the this guy went to Japan in March and just did something to work going over there work weirdly working with arguably the worst faction in New Japan in House of torture and just giving himself something that just has clicked for me I couldn't have given a [ __ ] less about Jack Perry prior to March but he he marched in jumped into that New Japan cup and just looked like a champ like a like a goddamn champion over there and has just sold me on how good he is and he he brought that edge back with him I think he's done very well on TV working with the Young Bucks working with okata to really uh solidify himself as a the higher like a the one of the upper midc card lower main event guys in this company and solidly look be looked at as a heel yeah agreed with you 100% I think that he's he's he's done enough like he like I don't really care for him too much but I can take away from the fact that he's repackaged himself after so much negativity after so much BS and he's running with it at this point M yeah and like you said yeah in that perfect upper lower middle class heel rooll it's perfect for Jack Perry right now and Darby it's time for him to ascend up the card for two reasons one he's a great wrestler who people love and two he's got an expiration date so you better cash those chips in sooner than later because one day Darby Allen will be in a wheelchair or dead or something that's going to prevent him from wrestling full-time yep that's exactly it right like there's only so much time that the man has uh and you can only wonder what he has planned for this match yes yeah it's going to be spectacular I'm I'm borderline more scared for this coffin match that I am the 12-man ladder match yeah same here same here all right we're going to move on for to the aew TBS title your Champion Mercedes Monae versus do Brit Baker DMD um I don't care at all about the backstage rumors with Dr Brit Baker and Alicia atout and mjf I think that's just the worst of wrestling coverage and fandom like I don't want to consume that content I regret even bringing it up but it is kind of a cloud hanging over this match which sort of soured it in a way although Dr B Aker and especially Mercedes Monet have proven to be big match wrestlers in an important situation in a big match in a Big Show they pretty much always deliver um so yeah I have no reason to think this won't be pretty good I think Sasha wins just to keep that uh ball rolling I don't see Mercedes taking a loster breaker she's kind of Teflon at this point in a because she's she is one of The Originals she's kind of beloved by the fan base whether she's in that weird role like nobody's like if she's coming out as a heel they're gonna boo her she comes out the face they're gonna cheer she she's kind she's that Teflon person and and Mercedes I think needs a good strong match here too not that she has had bad ones but I'm saying she I think they they have a good sh she gets that big their her her aw WrestleMania moment here um it just it solidifies kind of Mercedes especially the fact that she's gonna be what in less than a week she's going to be on uh Friday she's gonna be working New Japan for with with uh Moman and then what's gonna be in I think that's a that's gonna be the better match of the week for her in my personal opinion but I I look forward to all of it so yep I think that Mercedes Manet needs that outing because there's a lot of negative perception right now about her and her entire aew stin so I think a match like this in this platform at Wembley in their biggest show of the year is exactly what she needs to kind of you know silence the haters yeah agreed agreed so we all think that Mercedes Monee will be the Victor here she's taking that W yep yep yep all right we're going to move on to the aew American Title your Champion mjf versus Will O you said this about the often match one of those sneaky matches of the night I think this one also has potential for that will ospre will ospreay mjf you know he's just constantly proving people how that he's more than just a voice he's more than just a a Mike stick he's more than just you know an annoying heel he's also a good wrestler yeah like MGF has it's really proven you look at the match of Brian Danielson you look at the match whenever he's put in a high-profile situation with anybody he he delivers he has great well okay except except Jay White Travy that whole match was just garbage but like he the guy delivers an every which way when he when he needs to and will Osprey arguably my my favorite wrestler of all time um at least in in on a major wrestling circuit level and I think the guy is he's just so good in the ring he brings up the best in everybody you know he's going to bring out the best in one of the guys who does it the best in in the old school like technical way that mjf does it it's gonna be like it's gonna be incredible you're gonna see some crazy action lost it but you're gonna see that just technical Masterpiece that you see out of mjf every time he gets in there and wrestles in a proper way yeah yeah mjf is is fabulous in the ring he's tremendously underrated as a wrestler last year he had two good match matches with Adam Cole one on Dynamite one in all in uh match with Kenny Omega he had last year was absolutely incredible great match classic all time in the history of pro wrestling he's had many of those uh though it was divisive I personally think the match he already had with Will ospre Dynamite 250 where they went an hour 59 minutes 58 seconds or whatever it was I think this match is going to be long it's going to go over 30 minutes I bet I kind of feel like they're trying to make aw is trying to make mjf and will Osprey their flare versus Steamboat and they already got the first chapter down second chapter now I think is going to be will Osprey winning at home Big Baby Face pop and um it's going to be a great match and we will go from there I'm sure it won't be the end of the feud because Max has won one and will will'll have one one as well but will ospry is going to be aew's Undertaker in this Allin show you watch He's not going to lose it all in for the next like 5 10 years it's very possible let's hope Brock Lesar shows up and beats him exactly exactly oh Jesus aew Women's World title match Timeless Tony storm versus Mariah may may oh my this match is one I know a lot of people are looking forward to for many reasons uh this is probably one of the Better Built matches in my opinion over the past several months we knew this match was going to happen we knew the turn was going to happen happened we didn't know who was going to do the turn a lot of people were surprised with it being M you know just that that's the beauty of wrestling right sometimes even when you know that the where we're going to end up it's the road it's how we get there and I think that overall they've done a pretty good job of getting us here yeah I I again huge Maran May fan from her run in stardom with with Club Venus and just I I think she's absolutely she's phenomenal in ring her character where even came it come came cross amazing just in stardom where you don't see as much promo but just the character she portrayed she she is very good at being the mean girl but also being insanely sweet at the same time and that's why when when people were talking about tur like it's gonna be R she's going she's going to play the heel in in this that's what I had in my head and she is and I think she's doing a phenomenal job she's really El it's in less than a year she has really elevated herself from just being a background Lackey and it's the background character to being the Lackey to being a main event star for this company and people care about her people are getting behind her there and it shows just because she has such good again her in ring ability is really good her character work is phenomenal and just she she connects with people that is the best thing she is she can connect with people and I I love it I'm excited for this if it wasn't for Osprey on this card this would be the match I'm looking forward to most I think her this match match and osprey's match the two that are tied for what I want to see most on this show I I'm right there with you uh Dr Dre uh so like you don't need to be able to cut a good promo honestly you don't uh there have thousands thousands of wrestlers in the history of wrestling who have not been able to cut a good promo and have become big stars however it clearly helps and if you want to see how much it helps your career just look at Tony storm over the past year it clearly helps that she is such a good character that she has brought this other character along with her along for the ride this is the best story in wrestling by a wide margin nothing that's happening right now in wrestling is really even close to how good this story is so I think the match kind of has to play out where Tony is so obsessed with Revenge so obsessed with getting her pound of Flesh that she wins the battle but loses the war as it were and and though she makes Mariah bleed and makes her pay her temper gets the best of her somehow she slips on a banana peel and Mariah May leaves with the title to continue this Feud so yeah I'm very excited to see how this all plays out it's the best story in wrestling by a country mile and these are two the best characters doing it and it's going to be a a heated bloody battle is what wrestling is all about but yeah Mariah May for the W and I hope we get him I'm taking that hold on one second Audrey I'm taking that entire Spiel mat I'm going to clip it we're going to talk about it next week on a rep plus r sixs you said a lot of very interesting things uh but we'll get to that next week in the round table go ahead Andre I I and I hope we get to see we get a Mina share K up here again another huge fan of her because she she was part of this she's in London yeah showed up at rev Pro yesterday yep so yeah looking forward to this Mame should get the dubs and this leads us to the main event title V career swerve Strickland versus Brian Danielson the modernday Macho Man versus Ultimate Warrior WrestleMania 7 let's go yes you yes you said the modern day macho man I thought you were saying something about the modern day Maharaja were you predicting not a gender Mahal aew title win after winning the casino Gauntlet he's winning the gauntlet he's cashing in Raj Jesse for the win yes yes exactly give me Raj or give me a cold Grim death Boris that's uh no I we're Raj that here moving forward Pro Raj podcast let's go um I do think that the winner of the Cino Gauntlet is going to be Ricochet I think it's going to be a debuting wrestler it's going to probably be Ricochet maybe it's going to be there could be a different debut perhaps a Michael oku perhaps a djack maybe orange Cassidy who comes into this match at number one gets gets the big win and is uh the next World Championship challenger but the popular the popular uh feeling right now kind of seems like hangman pig is going to win the casino Gauntlet get the right to cash in a title shot whenever he wants and hangman page is going leave this match as Champion I don't think that will happen I think Brian Danielson wins clean celebrates with his family and everyone gets to enjoy Brian danielson's wrestling career continuing and then his next defense will be against Ricochet who wins and Cashes in like says I want the match at all out whatever it is you know but I expect Brian Danielson to win this match and leave with the title yeah I'm you know cons I ideally that's what I want but I I there's something in my head that I just don't see it happening considering that the next match is in two weeks can his body withstand that at this point like that's to me that's the bigger question can danielson's body go through this much punishment in So Close amount of time I don't know um that's the ideal situation that I want Matt but something tells me that swerve is going to win and Danielson is going to get his moment but it's going to be him saying Cheerio pop pop goodbye I I look at it I think I I'm I'm on the side of Matt I think Danielson wins it but I see Adam paig coming out at the end but it's just like I said earlier coming out on the stage Mike say to where it says all out and drops a mic and leaves he gets that pop at the end people thinking he G cash in but it's not it's get you get the tease and then it just sets up a perfect way for Danielson versus hang man what four or five at this point and incredible series of matches between those guys and Etc I am going to watch it this afternoon whilst at work um I am actually looking forward out of all of them I am actually looking forward to this towers of London ladder match because I'm I'm looking to see how um wheeler Claudia and P work together and if they're looking to add pack in to the Blackpool combat Club because the luches uh seemingly WWE bound then I think that'd be a good fit yeah agreed agreed uh anything else you want to chat about uh any any other match that you're kind of like uh you know considering you haven't watched I think this is a good kind of a good indicator a good litmus test of the the real wrestling fan how how you oh well I don't know I'm looking forward to Brian Brian's match but you discovered that so I don't want to what I just want to put out there what what what would happen in case of the unlikely scenario of a draw damn never even thought of that never even didn't even cross my mind because obviously Daniel Bryan likes a time limit draw don't he how many has he have in a a few four four or five yeah out of the like 10 of them so it could lead to a triple all in you never know that's interesting he would it surprise me if if somehow wouldn't surprise me if somehow they got to a triple threat match at aw allout so yeah today is August 25th Sunday Saturday September 7th is aew allout quick turn around they need a match that's pretty well ready made already so it would not Shock me if we got a triple threat match like you're saying what I was going to say joke wise was Paul York and Steve Swift will call them mustash ride Mountain I love how he leaves I love how he leaves right at that time leave on a high note always leave on a high note I don't even think he did that on purpose but by God that was great hey's [Laughter] back all right yeah know this is going to be a very interesting card right like uh as we're going through it like I said there's a few matches that really excite me few matches that I don't even care about but we know that it's going to be a good time in London at w I tell you one one match which I think is going to be a good match but I really don't care about is Derby versus Jack not interested in that whatsoever P because I don't like Jack and I don't like Derby I used to love Derby when you first started when when when aw first started I remember talking with Jason uh Mr AG to those and I was like I really like Dar and I think he's going to be the future and then he just it's just he's tried so hard to be a je Jeff Hardy wannab be that he surpassed him and he's just trying to be evil can evil in anything and that doesn't interest me in the slightest it's like I don't know if you you guys have seen there's been this picture floating around of supposedly Darby ala at the top of the Wembley AR practicing for something on for today and I'm like if he something off the arch he's going to kill himself and I think I actually think that's what he wants to do and I don't mean that he a funny way he's he's dead like I don't know what to say about him he just yeah frustrates me he's got all the talent in the world and yet he just seems to want to kill himself yeah that that that seems to be the mo right like that a lot of I know that that's a lot of people's opinion as well especially those people like yourself who don't really watch aew week in and week out right so yeah yeah we'll see what happens there all right let's let's move forward all out is happening in two weeks we will be having a post show for all out uh really going to be an interesting time like this is a the quick turnaround I'm very interested to see how they book all out we know that there's already a couple matches that have been announced um I think Matt you brought up a great point about the fact that for the main event you're going to want something established so having some mix of hangman Adam page uh Brian Danielson and S Strickland all three of them have had a lot of history over the past year some combination of two or three of them makes sense for the main event at all out I agree definitely I brought that point up so obviously I agree with it um you here's one for the here's one for the table um if I am correct and Ricochet is to win the casino battle Royale thing do you think Ricochet versus Brian Danielson main event of allout is enough to move the needle do you think that is a good enough pay-per-view Main Event nope no nope not at all knows oh wow Ricochet is not he's not look people love Ricochet he's a good wrestler but he's doesn't have it he doesn't have as the French say I don't know what I strongly strongly disagree with that he does not have the status he does not have the status but he I think there are very few people who have as much physical Charisma natural like ability as Ricochet the problem is there's a big difference between Charisma and promo ability he and there are a couple others Mercedes Monet is kind of like this swerve Strickland if you wanted to be a dick is a little bit like this uh pentagon hunor is one Rey Mysterio Gunther Gunther in WWE is one who's like this a ton of physical Charisma not really a good promo at all promos have improved so much recently Pros have been Fuego recently so I I wouldn't put him in that status so I don't add on to that little point though the reason why I think all all three of us said no is purely because if he's making his debut tonight and then straight away is in is is in the main event of the next pay-per-view a week later what it it there's no fuel to the fire so to speak there's nothing that would make us say oh that's going to be amazing you know what I mean for for a you need you I don't know you need something look one of the biggest complaints about aw is random matches I think it that would kind of prove a lot of people right like it's not so Random if you really think about it but with a two-e turnaround I just don't think that Ricochet you can put him in that position uh to to make him feel credible you know from getting his ass kicked a few weeks ago somewhere else to main Eventing here I think I think you're probably right look at what right he was what NXT it was pure NXT and then he got released and now he's eight but it's taken him a bit of time to get to world champions status yep so one last point I do want to bring up and uh moving again moving forward is that this week we did learn that forbidden door is going to be happening in London probably um one of the Arenas out there I can see it being the O2 Arena unless they have that exclusive contract with WWE that we know that they have um so all forbidden door and Allin 2026 is happening in London uh how do you guys feel about the international Allure that aew has especially with London be nice if they moved it around a bit if they're drawing if they draw every time it's great it's just can they draw every time they go there see if if I if I if I if I had if I was Tony khah I had more sent the reason why Tony khah sticking with London because obviously he's got the AFF affiliation with Fen so that's purely he owns full football club so that's based in London if I had any sense I I would I would I would hold an event in Manchester Manchester just got this just got the uh biggest Arena like covered arena in in the UK just opened up I I would I would have booked there that's 20,000 CER well 23 I think 23 25 I would have booked there for maybe forbidden do one it takes it away from thing but plus it'll give give um more of a credibility to an arena show uh I remember seeing people for some reason I I see these [ __ ] post insights on Facebook and they're like oh Clash at the castle did 55,000 and then the one in Glasgow did 11,000 look at the difference that's made between two years I'm like one that was two different two different stadiums two different venues two different capacities and they're like oh yeah but aw done $50,000 together each time same venue though yeah same venue same same everything right it's completely night and day I hate when people try to and start making those uh I love it when people get their mbas and try to talk business um when it comes to pro wrestling all right gentlemen I think we are at time it is half an hour before Zer hour starts any last opinions thoughts comments we'll start with you yorki makes me excited for this show Matt yeah we're just so blessed and spoiled with good wrestling that yeah it's this is g to be a fun way to spend a Sunday morning in uh in the Eastern time zone for sure Brian Danielson we could theoretically feasibly be about to watch Brian danielson's last ever wrestling match I doubt it I think we all doubt that to a pretty serious degree but it is possible it is possible this could be a very historic night in the history of professional wrestling so yeah I'm excited it's going to be a good show like aew pay-per-views always are leave it locked here in A+
