council holding significant influence in this community however she highlights the ongoing issues they face in the cafeteria leaden remains optimistic however many people are grumbling and rebelling with boka while they attempt to repair the bridge as is having issues he's been drinking and is becoming increasingly unstable as time goes on in fact us is hearing voices which is perhaps not surprising considering he has a tent of his own away from the community at the top of the mountain at the council meeting PA is absent but the rest of the group decides to indulge in a little drinking and card playing Alex finds herself dealing with a nose bed while also reviewing seismic data in an adjacent train Carriage separate from the main Refuge unfortunately things go when the generator shuts off Joby goes out to fix it only to discover that it has been deliberately sabotaged in the dead of night he hears rocks moving suggesting someone is trying to stay hidden a day later Javier manages is to establish contact with what seems to be snower on the radio there's only a bit of static but it's enough for Javier to cling to Hope given that Josie had gone out to check on the relay earlier in the episode he believes this is their chance to communicate with the other train when Alex arrives she dismisses his suggestions and remains focused on her work with snow piercer which seems to be six or 7 hours away they need to address both the relay and the bridge repairs when Leon inspects the workers by the bridge he discovers that neither as nor bokai has shown up for work it out that Dr hwood is part of the Rebellion Josie returns and informs Leon that she saw not a track scaler but a snowcat which neither they nor snow pierer possesses indicating a separate Insurgent group they arrived to late finding Roki knocked out by Dr headwood and a strange Trooper dressed like a Warhammer Marine this is the same group previously seen with rat symbols on their helmets who ambushed Bess and Ben Zarah encounters them on the mountain but the outcome is not shown Josie discovers Zarah injured and blooded having been thrown off the mountain and landing hard Zara mentions that lyana has been taken but passes away zor is brought back to town as Leighton prepares to set out with volunteers to search the hills with lanag gon it seems that the old Laden is is needed to
