welcome to Raleigh North Carolina Carter Finley Stadium home to the North Carolina State wolf pack and the fans here on this leg of Tobacco Road have been getting ready since early this morning today A ranked versus ranked match up as a couple of top 25 teams get set to go jaw to jaw as we'll see the number 15 team in the country the Tennessee Volunteers taking on the 22nd ranked team in the land the NC State wolf pack for EA Sports college football Reese Davis with you alongside David poock and Jessie Palmer and guys can't wait to get this one [Music] [Applause] started and the volunteers will get us underway with the opening kickoff he'll start the return inside his five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 so the NC State wolf pack offense is on the field and ready to start the game and this wide receiver he's the Lynch pin to the offense they want to make sure they find a multitude of ways to get him the football and it's a risk reward scenario on defense when you're trying to cover this guy because because you play Man coverage you risking running by you and catching deep balls you play too much Zone and then he can hurt you after the catch a lot of different ways this guy is very dangerous they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 to the air it's Mcall makes the grab down the middle and they finally haul him down but not before the good catch and run QBs when you see Zone coverage man can you manipulate defense when you have a good pocket and you've got time to throw he had a little bit of time to throw you can move guys with your eyes that drag comes wide open good throw good catch first down they'll snap it from the 36 they've got a first down they go to the ground we'll give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up you know I think a big part of this isn't necessarily scoring aou on that plate but you're just trying to get your offensive line in the rhythm of the game let those Big Fellas get lathered up after picking up a couple at second and eight might as well stick with him that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there they've got it at the 41 third and short trying to keep the change moving from the gun wants to pass and the misconnection on third down well they try to throw Fort there on third down on the opening drive of the game they don't get it but let's punt the ball away let's trust our defense and guys let's also trust this home field advantage and the crowd to get loud and make it real difficult on our opponent the wolf pack will line up to putt it away no return coming he'll call for the fair catch so the Tennessee Volunteers offense headed onto the field our first look at them today this crowd trying to make life miserable for this offense from the gun he leaves it with the back not much there they'll give him one to the 14 and you want to run the football that's okay you'll take some of these but if they start to add up down the road obviously you might want to think about airing it out and the balls headed quickly to the line they'll try the run across the 25 he's got room nothing but green ahead the 20 touchdown ball and once he found daylight it was Katie Bar the Door baby man this guy is such a weapon because he's so dangerous if he gets into the level vision and then David shows you the speed just straight Wheels Ching angles a lot of times when you're chasing guys that are so fast like this you're like I got him I got him no I do not what a big long touchdown run pad those stats young fell lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point is good and it's seven nothing that drive took no time at all couple of plays and finished it with the long run for the touchdown kickoff team lining up to send this one away here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 North Carolina state has it back in the offense headed to the field not much working there it'll be second and nine as a defensive guy now you're always zoomed in on the quarterback I mean these guys they're whether they're throwing the football or running it at least they have the football in their hands every time you know where they're going to be you focus in the defense locked and loaded understand were trying to accomplish doing a good job getting to the quarterback and then make those physical Hits Count finish those finish those T and the pressure was too much they get him at the 15 the defense just simply not fooled by the play action often times an offense you're hoping the Run fake is going to slow down those pass rushers but man oh man they had their ears pinned back you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 looking to throw and he needs a bunch didn't have much of a choice just had to throw that one away it'll be fourth down and this is why you don't want to get in these situations third and long defense knows its pass they're playing past playing deep QB has nowhere to go with the football so he just throws it away looks as if NC State will have to punt it away three and out they got stuck in Reverse they hope the punt can bail them out fair catch called for and made Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field boy David they would love to stack another touchdown on top of that last drive and this offense did such a good job on the last Drive everything in Rhythm moov the ball down the field didn't make those mistakes Jesse and they need to do it again on this yeah you're right they had the defense on their heels you wonder what sort of communication was going on that sideline what sort of changes were they able to make because they got to stop the bleeding right now the volunteers want to move quickly they'll run it out of the shotgun really nice pick up on that one as they get it to the 36 it'll be first down Tennessee loves relying on the big physical backs like a Jamal Lewis and this guy fits and guys you just didn't want to tackle I mean guys that run angry all the time and it's just it's a mindset when when Tennessee has that mindset the fans go crazy and their teams are usually their best squads to the air it's IAM malava finds a spot in the middle and a good job of coverage by that defense just a short pick up this quarterback right now is in impr Grove and he's doing a nice job innap the coverage and he's getting an idea of where he wants to go with the football that's why the ball's coming out of his hands so quickly that's why he seems like he's in a great Rhythm right now they looking to get the edge with this one on the toss at the 20 he's got space and there they go again with another huge gain on the ground he's finally run out of bounds defense is going to have their hands full trying to stop this guy they better to the football and get multiple hats cuz he is not easy to bring down the vs have their offense in high gear he'll pull it on the read he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is freeling and that's what I love about the QB Run game in this offense is it just keeps these defenses off bounds we're going to see a lot running backs doing their work between the tackles in this game as well but you see how mixing in the quarterback run too it just keeps this defense so confused looking for a gap it's Samson and he gets nothing and this defense is not giving an inch right on the goal line great job by the defense everybody firing off the ball hitting their guys holding their gaps running to the football nowhere to go love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal he'll try to pick it up on the ground and he takes it to the house touchdown volunteers up and over yam be there into the end zone and you don't want to leave your feet very often in football but this is one of those areas where you do in the End Zone near the goal line you smell it a lot of bodies in front of you just get up get over top of them get that touchdown they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead they just finished off a 53 yd scoring drive and finished to deal with the short t down run from the two the kickoff team on the field as they'll send this one away on the move from inside is five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 NC State sending the offense back onto the field out of the shotgun they go to the ground coaches always harp about staying ahead of the chain and when you canun that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that they can really be aggressive after that last play it's second and three back to pass it's Mcall catch open down the middle Nifty little dance step and the catch was one thing and the Run even better a big pick up on that one you can work your way down the field with these wide receiver screens but also look for the opportunity to turn them into chunk plays later no doubt you throw it quickly you get it to him now DB comes up has to make a tackle now you fake it maybe a little bit later on so these plays they're not huge plays all the time but they can set up big plays down the road for your offense really nice stop there from this senior leader I like feeding my guy I like getting my running back touches feeding the ball so he can break some of those big runs but I'm also with these little ones set the tone stay balanced picked up two yard on that last one they need eight on second down rides to the back and they'll stop him after a minimal pick up ball is at the 41 as this defense tries to force the punt on Third and long from the gun wants to pass wide open down field and they exploited that soft spot and they get it down to the 35 you know one of the areas that separate good offensive coordinators from great ones is how efficient their offenses are on third down passing plays that was the perfect call at the perfect time and obviously executed well NC State quick to the line and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pick up all right well look I know the defense was feeling real good about their run de coming into this one and how they've been playing up to this point but finally David the offense breaks through and they finally generate something positive on the ground and I can't tell you how easy it is when you're going to throw the ball consistently and I know I'm going to pin my ears back and I'm going to get to the quarterback it makes life really easy on a defensive line but when you can have balance now the defense doesn't know what's coming they need more of this if they're going to be successful on offense good spot after that seveny pickup on first down down it's second and [Applause] three trying the left side nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry you know the runner just has to have a little bit more patience he bounced that thing outside a little too early and as a result lost yards just outside the red zone at the 21 but it's third and long back to pass it's Mcall got his man on the right they make the tackle but he's got a fresh set of downs and it's first and goal from the seven these two guys just on the same wavelength they make clutch connections all the time and that's practice man that's all summer that's all spring just so many hundreds and hundreds and thousands of balls where you know exactly when that guy's going to break you know he's a stud going to feed him especially on these third down situations and the quarterb caugh up two and sacked at the 12 I think defenses sometimes get frustrated and you want to get Blitz happy and because you give up yards in this day and age you're going to give up yards who cares this is the area we got to Bow up nice job on first down stopping them a couple more Downs here to stay aggressive defense RS up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming wide receiver coming across in motion on second down looking again to throw got it in the middle it's Rogers they'll get it down to the eight yd line on that throw and catch and the defense is backed up against the wall it's still third and goal from the gun wants to pass snags it and the defense wrestles him to the ground and after that short completion what will they do now just a few inches to go yeah and you wanted to get the ball out quick and you wanted your receiver to make the play for you and get the first down you don't now decision time fourth and short and on fourth down they'll try to salvage the drive with a field goal it is good well you're always going to wonder what would could have should have happened on Fourth and inches had they gone for it but with this kicker I like taking three points and putting it on the board [Music] they were able to get a field goal on the board and now they'll kick it away and he takes this from inside the five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 the volunteer offense is back and they hope it's touchdown time in Tennessee incomplete and he threw that one up for grabs and into traffic and fortunate to get it back well it's a nice job by the quarterback getting the ball out of his hands quickly on that RPO he saw something he liked just not on the same page with this receiver they'll try again on second down after the incompletion out of the gun the inside hand off to the running back and this one will be stopped for No Gain you got to have that defense you know you can go to in running situations youre DEF where you say okay this is where I'm going to start and I'm going to stop the run stuff it up front my guys play Big up front then if I need to add some blitzes to it later on down the road I can a great job in the base defense making a play trying to move the sticks on third down through the air and that'll be incomplete they certainly weren't afraid to take a shot there and now it's Fourth Down great play by the defensive back showing you his variety of skills his ability to turn the hips his speed running down field turning his head to locate the football and then swatting it away he just can't do it better and the volunteers will putt this one away he'll try to really get into this one this is a spot you see many returners try to take a chance but not this time the fair catch just inside the 40 they're going to throw it to start the drive fires to the tight end he's got there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down they pick up the first down on the drag route I know that seems like a simple route but it's actually a lot more complex than what it looks like because that route changes based on whether it's man or Zone if it's man coverage he's flying across the field if it's Zone he's got to sit down over the ball in a soft spot giving his quarterback a place to go with it nice job of those guys being on the same page there on the option and I think they'll give him two on that one second and eight coming up yeah it's a nice job by this defense understand listen that QB is a threat and they're going to run all kinds of options and he's going to run the football they were dialed in and got that sucker to the ground this offense has a second down play the pull and throw off the RPO excellent job working through the air they're finding a hole in that defense and picking up a first down that had to be a coverage bust because there is no way one of the best receivers in the country was that wide open somebody on defense wasn't where they were supposed to be they had their eyes in the wrong place that should not happen ever Wolfpack will have first and 10 out of the gun the running back has it a wrestle him to the ground but he's got plenty for a first down first down physicality wins football G being able to run the football and create balance and and right here just chws up another first down gives you another chance to maybe continue to run the football and I feel like this guy too is just an explosive play waiting to happen his vision his quickness and he's got a burst if you give this guy just a crease he's going to hit it and right now he's doing some damage on this defense knocked down but not before he crossed into the Red Zone and picked up four yard down to the 17 solid pick up of four on first down it's second and six pulls it and fires to the left and they'll make the Stop and we are headed to the end of the first period both teams wanted to established the run and they have done exactly that in the first quarter just about ready to get things started here in the second we'll see if they continue to flex that muscle looking to throw it's Mcall he's got it on the move they make the stop at the 5 yd line but they've got it first and goal he might have expected to see this DB up in his receivers kitchen instead nice little Zone and they pick up the first man offenses are getting so good Reese at seeing the holes in the zone knowing you're in zone knowing where to sit down how to make it an easy pitch and catch for the quarterback and that's what it was on third sh Relentless tough running gets it down to the four see if they can get it done on second and goal he's looking to throw getting some heat and that defense gets to him and down he goes at the nine perfect execution by this defense they played pass sat back looked at the quarterback took everything away and even better good pass rush finishes it now put him in a predictable third and long situation third and goal from way back there from the gun wants to pass and this defense is bringing the heat another sack I think you've seen two plays back to back now with poor pass protection up front guys have to do a better job you've got a golden chance here to put a touchdown on the board and two consecutive plays they can't protect the QB and for the second time tonight they'll Trot out the field goal kicker and he'll try to keep that smooth leg swing going for the second time today this one from 34 yds out splits the up it's right down the [Music] middle after that last field goal Drive they're set to kick it away he'll bring it back from inside is five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field he'll do it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three how about the defensive end understanding football understanding that I got to keep outside contained I'm responsible for the quarter playing his responsibility and how about getting that sucker on the ground he's a pretty good athlete to be able to Coral him tackle him right in the middle of the field and get him to the ground from the gun they'll try the middle open space at the 25 and he'll pick up the first down after a tough run there the Big Orange turning out those first downs on the ground so like Aran Foster used to do yeah you couldn't write the script any better just pound the ball establish the Run game opens up the play action exactly how you want to run your offense and the BS are in the hurry up they're going to go right back to him on first down finds enough room to get three out to the 34 I'll tell you this is a running back who's very very dangerous and the defense did a good job getting him down there but they got to do a great job game tackling because this is a guy that can break tackles and turn those types of plays into home runs after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven the offense showing motion from the tight end trying to get a read on the D looking for a crease it's Samson to the 43 yd line and a first down for this offense man is he having a day for the Big Orange already over 150 yard yeah and showing you a little bit of everything Reese I mean he can break tackles he can make you miss he's doing it all for this offense and I would continue to feed him and I guarante the orange fans are going nuts out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a crease he's there to make the stop when a running back has had as much success as this guys's had so far listen defense has got to qu in they got to qu in to him he's priority number one number two and number three that's a good start to maybe turning this defensive effort around got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 quarterback on the keeper and maybe they want to try somewhere else because there is nothing doing in the middle of this defense I don't think the quarterback made the right read on that play I know they're asking a lot of this QB he's got a lot to focus on with the past game and all the different types of runs that they have in their playbook but on that play there that pre- snap look told me to hand it off from the shotgun now here's an inside GI he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage this defense obviously knows they've got to be able to stop the run if they're going to win this football game and you wonder if they've been able to make some tweaks and adjustments to try and take this running back away the volunteers will line up to pun it away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away you'll call for the fair catch here North Carolina state has it back on the offense headed to the field Jesse they had to kick a field goal the last time they had it yeah often times early in games you're just trying to find your Rhythm some things work some don't on that first drive Dave it' be interesting to see what happens here in the second Drive yeah you got to feel for the defense now you understand what they're trying to do what their game plan is now you get to go into phase two of your game plan not what they had in to start this drive here comes second and 13 looking for a man it's Mcall he's got it down the middle he's brought down but he went backwards after that completion not the way they had it drawn up that's just a tremendous individual effort by the defender he's able to defeat his block and get to the ball and get the ball down on the ground very very nice job not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long backed up inside their 20 he's looking down field to throw and he had it for a second but it just dribbled out of his hands that's why it's so important you can show your exotic looks you can get the pass rush going everybody on the back end expecting throw and that's how you force incompletions and Force fourth things not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair catch the volunteer def is back and they hope it's touchdown time in Tennessee here's the handoff and they drag him down but not before he picked up the first down there's really no secret to it David when this guy's running well this offense is so hard to stop it opens up everything and he's having a great day showing you a little bit of everything and this offense has got it rolling on the ground the BS in the hurry up off the play fake on first down wants to throw and they weren't able to make the connection they were looking for an explosive play I know that shot down the field was incomplete but you got to keep taking shots those receivers love to go deep gives them a breath of fresh air they get more excitement they're going to the quarterback with a little bit more juice because you know you're feeding them so I would keep taking deep shots down the field he'll keep it himself knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple I just love the individual one-on-one effort by the defense there offense trying to go option QB keeps it but just too many Defenders winning their one-on-one battles defeating blocks and getting the tackle for locks better find theplugs here comes the noise backing this defense on third down dropping back it malava what a job to lay out and make the catch and they bring him down but did you see this freshman rifle that thing in there wow that's a really nice catch especially considering it comes from a running back quarterback's got to do a better job being more accurate with that you got to know he's not a receiver right it's not his natural form they don't make awkward body catches as gracefully as some of these other guys and it's sometimes harder for them to stay on his feet let him work get him the ball in the chest nice job bailing out his QB but the QB's got to return the favor defense it is stop the run first that is your first responsibility it makes the whole game easy and right now they got it going on the ground the defense is going to have to change something up these little tiny Dink and dunk Dink and dunk you keep doing this they'll go all the way down the field on you so you might want to get a little bit more aggressive from the gun they'll give it on the inside they get him down but not before he picks up five down to the 17 yd line this running back just doesn't go down easily it's just defenses to get him on the ground not overly huge but if I'm an offensive coordinator I'm going to continue to find ways to feature him and just you know what let his talent do the rest this crowd knows they have to bring it in big moments and one of those has arrived he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and it looks as if they're going to try a field goal and he'll kick for the three from 36 yd out in the right hat oh and he missed it no good still up by eight after the miss NC State sending the offense back onto the field that last Drive won't go on the Highlight Reel after ending in a punt they'd like to be more productive this time David and I think this offense has to be a little bit more balanced find a little balance between the Run Jesse and working in that pass and I think too David it's just going to take a spark it just takes one play to get this thing picked up and got eight on first down now looking at a second and two looking to pass it's McCall got his man in the middle he's got enough for the first down they'll spot it at the 37 I think this receiver Forte is his route running he's a guy that can line up all over the field but it's not just catching post routes and goes this guy can run shallows he can run Slants he can run the option routes and find soft spots in the this guy really has all the routes in his [Applause] toolbox they're going to run [Applause] it and he finds Some solid makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him you want to talk about making it easy for an offensive coordinator you pick up a bunch of yards on first down make that second down really really manageable that's a great job by the offense eight- yd pickup on first down leaves him with second and short wide out in motion touch pass on the Jet Sweep look out he's got room and this defense was flailing as he weaved his way and got down to the 26 I love that play call and I love the timing of the pre-nap motion because the quarterback was able to get it to the receiver right behind the offensive line because of the timing he was able to outflank the defense that puts him out in space where he's able to use his speed nice job with the pre- snap motion and time they'll ride the running back and leave it with him he's stopped after a one yd pick up at the 25 the Run game just has not been working for this offense all game long saw it on that last play as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line they haven't been physical didn't get much on first down it's second and nine now the play fake fires to the wide out and he drops it just a little too slippery in the hands well the receiver did everything right he ran a good route he got his head around he just didn't finish the play just look at in they run into a bit of trouble here third and long from the 25 and the last thing they wanted to get knocked out of field goal range scanning the field it's Mall fires to the right got him down field they get him stopped at the 5 yd line but it will be first and goal from there I love that from this offense three is good you're in field goal range but now we're set up with first and goal because of great third down execution by this offense stay aggressive even when you get in this part of the field when everything shrinks and gets a little bit harder you still want to be [Applause] aggressive they'll use the running game on first and goal and a decent gain there before the defense makes the Stop and that's the problem with blitzing on defense you live by the blitz you die by the blitz defense dialed up the pressure but the offense had a better play call they ran it away from the Blitz and that's why they were able to be successful they've stalled out a bit in the Red Zone just a couple of field goals on three previous trips now to get it in on second and goal and he rolls into the house touchdown NC State the defense has got to do a better job of taking the most dangerous man that's the guy with the football in his hands force him to do something with it you can't just let him keep the ball and go score to attempt the try and with the extra point they cut it to a 1413 game so it's an 80 yd drive and it was closed out by the short yardage touchdown the kickoff team takes the field to boot this one away on the run from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kick off coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field we talk about settling for points but sometimes when you have to settle for nothing David it can be demoralizing yeah it can definitely be frustrating and I think it leads you to say maybe I go for it more but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish Stronger Yeah and and be a little bit less predictable too especially as they get closer and closer down to the end zone and the volunteers moving quickly to the line going to run it it's Samson he steps out of bounds but he's got enough for a first down well you can see why Rocky Top is so excited about this guy he's a home run waiting to happen not only can he run you over but he can run around you too this is an offense that doesn't only have to throw the football to win games they can run it and they can get explosive plays because of this guy's speed he's looking to throw it fires to the middle and his throw is [Applause] incomplete second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning they'll put the tight end in motion looking for a physical attack from the gun and he's almost to that first down marker there saying he's a little bit short they might want to bring out the sticks and measure but it looks as if he'll be just short of the first down Deb Rising as a crowd Gets behind this defense on third down dropping back it's IAM malava pocket starts to collapse blasted as he lets it go he took a hit as Hew it couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Down's coming defense did a great job third and short on the opponent side of the field they're expecting quick throw everybody they dug their heel on the ground they're able to break on the ball Force the incompletion and the balls will putt it away on fourth down let's see if he can help the coverage team out with this one he'll Feld the butt and see what he can get they'll get down and put a stop to the return at about the 28 ydd lineth Carolina state has it back in the offense headed to the field and it's intercepted a turnover from the defense he goes out of bounds but he just about did it himself what a return after the interception and defensive backs you think don't have good hands the big fella shows it how about that defensive back going up and getting the interception nice job breaking on the football you say that's why you play defense because you don't have hands I beg thead this is just the type of field position this offense wants to the air on first down couldn't quite hang on to the pick and he will be thinking about that one for a long time and that's why these guys play defense if that were an offensive player receiver that would have easily have been a catch come on man you got to catch that and make that a pick four wide out set two on either side on second and 10 he's looking to throw got it can't quite cross the plane to get the six but they'll have the first down I tell you what that's great execution between the QB and receiver they looked like they could execute that throw in their sleep quarterback took his steps threw it on time great route by the receiver nice job securing the catch the volunteers are threatening on first and goal trying to barge in nowhere to r on that when he loses on the car maybe that stop shows this defense is tightening up especially in the Run game the offense frankly they've been able to do whatever they want to do they just handed the ball off this guy's having success left and right no sir no Moss get it together the offense waste no time getting the timeout call and the D deny them on second and goal back to throw it's yam malava he makes a catch in the end zone touchdown Tennessee and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game I tell you what heat that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers lining up for the Pat and they kick it through for the extra point and they have an eight-point lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and they Capa the drive with a four yd touchdown pass the kickoff team out there getting [Applause] set he'll start the return inside is five smashes through the tackle nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 wasting no time throwing on this drive and it just squirted through his hands he wanted to take off and got too anxious hopefully that's not going to affect the quarterback's confidence going back to this guy later that was a catch he should have made he dropped it let's see what the QB does moving forward the incompletion leads to Second and 10 he's looking to throw unloads to the wide out nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away this defense is heating up they got an interception in the last possession you could tell breaking on the football really really well seeing where the quarterback's throwing it going to try to get it got another hand on it almost had another interception this defense has kept them backed up now one more stop and they can get off the field on Third and long nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry the defense calls the time out second of the day as they try to get their act together and that's a great play by the defensive end the best athletes on the field play defensive end you can ask anybody yes I agree Jesse ree see they agree with me same thing but you watch them get off the football make the play that's why you put your path this guy is a daring pun Return Man he's not going to settle for the fair catch a solid return gets a little bit of ground for the offense looking to go up top on first down and the defense will Coral the quarterback and down he goes at Midfield the offense burns his third and final timeout of the half running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break to throw it's IAM malava throws to the wide out right through his hands and incomplete and he'll want that one back it'll be third down and you got to put that one on the receiver that's just a flat out drop that's a good throw by the quarterback that's a catch that receiver needs to make Here Comes This Home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down from the gun the running back has it and the defense makes the tackle and that ought to do it here in the first half we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connor in our halftime update guys time for everyone to take a breath and digest what we just saw in Raleigh talk about a first half from that dude out of the back field he's been a total Game Changer and how many top plays moments have we seen on Miss tackles Alone video game moves from one of the shiftiest players in all of college football and with that let's send it back to the fellas in Carter Finley Stadium NC State will kick off to start things here in the second half here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they him on the ground at the 20 the volunteer offense is back and they hope it's touchdown time in Tennessee if it's working why change it and that running game was working in the first half I imagine we'll see a lot more of it here in the third quarter and you just know the offensive line was tell them their coordinator put this on us let us continue to go out there push these guys around we can put this game on our back and end this thing by running the ball and this is a manhood question for this defense like as a defensive lineman and you're pounding the Rock pounding the rock like I got to physically rise to this challenge this defense has to play more inspired and More Physical in the second half looking for a man it's yam malava fires to the wide out complete to the right they'll move the chain after he gets it to the 43 yd line that's a pretty impressive throw man that's given me pton Manning to Peerless price memories back when I was watching them playing against them in college that was a thing of Beauty right there there's a nice chemistry that this quarterback has with his group of wide receivers and you see that in the timing of these throws using his legs it's Samson and he'll pick up one it brings up second and N the vs want to the tempo the give to the running back from the shotgun stopped at the 46 yd line but give him 10 yard and the first down and David how demoralizing does it have to be for a defense when you know they're going to run it everyone in the stadium knows they're going to run it and still you cannot stop it there is nothing more demoralizing as a defensive lineman because it just it ticks you off it gets in your head you know that going to come off and smack you and you got to do something about it I think the defense may be time to start committing more guys to stopping that run not worrying about the pass as much and how loud is it in this building this is crazy this these fans are going absolutely nuts and I used to love when the fans got involved and I'm on defense because it messes with the snap count it messes with the communication and it can really rattle on offense what a throw not a lot of room he fits it in beautifully they've down the 30 well there's a great example of the receiver working back to his quarterback on the curl route against man coverage he drives back towards the football makes the catch and gets the first down and the volunteers have it with a first and 10 Ed the play fake now to throw grabbed in the middle it's mcoy they make the stop but not before they do their work up top and pick up a first down and I love when you understand when I'm supposed to put some RPMs on that football you could tell he's thrown over the middle of the field he knows he's got Defenders there I got to throw this thing in there quick fast in a hurry nice job by the quarterback they'll throw it from the Red Zone finds his big tight end that completion takes them down to the seven yd line and they are ready to strike just a quick Rhythm throw there and really good use of the tight end yeah good use of the big fell I mean go through your progressions real quick you can't find anything get the easy gain don't take a shot down the field all the time take those shots later but take those easy wide open opportunties to get some positive chunks makes a catch the end Z ball [Applause] lining up to T more onto that lead and with the extra point they push the lead out a little further they marched 79 yds on the drive and they Clos the deal with the seven Y for the score lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown drive on the move from inside is five really job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 NC State sending the offense back onto the field the run to the left they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one they're trying to run the football there's just nowhere to go for the ball carrier inside he tried to bounce it to the outside that linebacker way too fast he met him there and force the TF Out didn't get much done on that first of the drive it's second and 11 looking to throw it's Mcall got his man quickly he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down wow the quarterback knew he had to get that one to his receiver quickly on the end route did you see the velocity on that throw movement from the linebackers trying to mess with the offensive Line's assignments wide receiver shows motion quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep the defense wouldn't let him lose there and it was a completion but they lost yardage got to give the defense credit watching film anticipating they knew that this offense had this play in their back pocket they knew about the speed of this wide receiver and different ways they were going to try to get him involved everybody on defense on the same page playing together I love it on second down he's looking down field just goes right through the Wicket and brings up third down man he will be thinking about that one trying to get the receiver on a drag route and work him through all the bodies in traffic but there's just too much happening I don't think he saw the throw real well and it falls incomplete if every Journey begins with a step this offense needs to step into a third down conversion and then try to turn it into some scores and fast going to try to get it himself got a lot of running room and he's finally down sliding in safely after the huge pick up I mean these quarterbacks nowadays can run so fast think about who you've got chasing him defensive linemen those big old defensive tackles defensive ends linebackers they can't catch him because they're faster than them nowadays so much speed so much electricity now with these guys he'll come out throwing on first down trying to beat the D deep and he'll take it in they couldn't get him on the ground touchdown North Carolina state that was just as simple as playing catch in warm-ups and this offense felt like they could take advantage of this defense down the field throwing the football they've got a lot of speed on the perimeter and I feel like they've got some matchups they feel they should be winning on one we saw a great example of it right there now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic and the P will draw them one point closer so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they finish things off with a scoring from the 33 about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown and he takes this from inside the five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field Jesse looking to take it down the field for backto back touchdowns I think it's really important for them moving forward too to have a lot of Bounce right you want to be able to keep this defense yeah and you got me searching for answers after that last drive you stack another drive on top of this their defense's heads are going to be spinning all over the place last incompletion leaves them still sitting at their own 25 with second and 10 the give to the back crosses the 30 to the 31 and a 6yd pickup man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out better find the ear plugged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down he'll pull it on the read they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one they're trying to go option and they're trying to put that defensive end in a bind but he's just way too athletic and he guessed right the quarterback was keeping the ball he knew it and was able to make the tackle in the back field and the balls will try to pin them back with the HT he's going to try to flip the field with this one no return coming he'll call for the fair catch North Carolina state has it back and the offense headed to the field how about the way they attack the last time they had the ball mixing run and pass and winding up in the end zone Jesse that's why recruiting is so important they've got weapons at every skill position on the field any of these guys is dangerous if they touch the football let's see what they do on Drive David and so Palmer I got to take away something I can't let them have everything and have success I got to be aggressive against the run or play for the pass I can't give him everything to the air it's mall and with the completion out to the sideline they'll pick up a couple and there were no creases or crevices to run through and they shove him out of bounds well when you're throwing these out routes guys it's location location location as a QB got to put that out in front of your guy so he can make the catch you put that behind him that might be getting picked nice job there by the QB here comes the option that just never had a chance as they controlled the middle of the field and stopped him in the back field on third down man oh man am I upset at my offensive line to give up penetration that fast man we blinked and missed it he barely got the ball and just got destroyed immediately what a great play yet another punt on the way got to make sure that hamstring stays loose he's been busy the volunteer offense is back and they hope it's touchdown time in Tennessee they missed an opportunity to extend this lead the last time they had it Jesse yeah they got to be able to regain that momentum right go back to what was working earlier on in this one David to me that starts with being the more physical team oh I definitely agree being the more physical team but understanding the situation game you're still winning you got the football back now put a nice drive together and execute the volunteers racing to the line in the hurry up he wants to pass it on second down catch in the middle it's white oh look out there he goes what a play to get it inside the Red Zone and they are set up at the 17 great call by the offensive coordinator he saw an opportunity to take a shot to dial up one of these types of plays and beautiful execution by the QB and receiver and now they're set up in the Red Zone they say it's still a game of field position and that last one just flipped this baby they've got it first and 10 in the red zone out of the gun the inside give they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one you can't let the same guy beat you over and over and over again you got to make adjustments sometimes you got to bring more guys in the Box more guys to the football and make sure he's not the one who beats you lost one on that last one it's second and 11 he'll do it himself just aage stopped by this sophomore well the QB decided to keep it on that one and listen if you had his athleticism you'd want to keep it too almost every time they run these types of option plays but he's just going to have to do a good job of understanding when to hand it off when to pitch it and try to keep this defense on their heels and read his keys he's got a lot of talent just got to make sure he's making the right decisions moving forward trying play action takes a hit as he fires he caught it and he was pushing for that goal line but the D stopped him at the two we asked earlier this week who's your favorite receiver and of course he said the open one but we know who he really wants to go to on third down the best one I mean I think the open one obviously the politically correct answer but you want to find the guy that you got that great chemistry with you know exactly where he's going to be you got that b the end he goes touchdown volunteers his defense is going to have to do a better job being physical that's two rushing touchdowns they've now allowed they have got to be better close to the line of scrimmage they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point they move on top by 15 so that was a six play 75 yd drive and finished the deal with the short touchdown run from the two the kickoff team out there and ready to go he'll bring it out it's Grimes I imagine he's going to get an earful on the sideline after bringing it out of the Zone and being knocked down at the 11 they'll run it from the gun Hammer ahead for a yard out to the 12 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine quarterback on the keeper never underestimate the power of moving forward and creating breathing room he's up to the 17 nice job there by the QB on the zone three because he's watching the D linan and he knows he has to keep the football and then he right away takes it up field to get some positive yards and this offense just has to find a way to convert this third down or else they are really in trouble they're bringing heat caught in the back field it's now they'll really try to get this drive going good execution on third down as they have it first and 10 at the 31 and I love the idea of getting this guy screen throws because of his ability after the catch so nice job getting downfield getting a hat on hat and giving him a tunnel to run through wolf pack with a first and 10 here leaves it with the back got behind those pads and picked up three out to the 35 it's just so nice to know you can start off on first down with positive plays positive yards hand the football off set up a good second down got three on first down it's second and seven they'll go right back to him and the defense finally makes the stop after the sweet run and good gain man that was a good run was almost even better great job by the offense keep the running game going you get big chunks Like This Not only was that a big chunk it also looked like it could have gone for more NC stay on the move set up with another first down looking to move it through the air makes the grab and he was on his way and they get him down at the 30 because the QB anticipated that Cur route so well he got it to his receiver early against Zone coverage he had to work with after he caught the ball he was able to make a guy Miss move the chains it'll be first and 10 from the 30 dropping back it's McCall unloads to the wide out got his Man Down field he'll be stopped just short of the end zone but they'll have it first and goal yeah and the quarterback knew exactly where he go with the football had time spins the ball deep nice job by this offense understanding what the defense is giving him and creating the explosive play NC State will line up with a first and goal trying to run it in and he takes it in for the score touchdown wack well well well somebody's been doing their box jumps you ain't ly getting up in the listen I'm taking a picture of that saving it that might be my screen saver on my phone that vertical way up in the air he'll try to tack on one more and it's up and good as they draw Just a Touch closer almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown he'll bring it back from inside to SP he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field he'll keep it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three nice job playing a assignment football by that defensive end knowing what my job is not letting that quarterback get out get loose making a good play most importantly being there in the right spot and getting him on the ground the vs want to pick up the tempo looking down field it's IAM malava finds his tight end he's brought down solid pick up but a little bit short of the first down well a nice completion there finding the tight end and what's so beautiful about that is while they didn't get the first they were able to pick up enough yards now to make the third down manageable really putting this offense in a good position Deb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down from the gun wants to pass looking left almost intercepted and what a momentum swing that could have been but they still force a fourth down well in the first half this offense was up and down the field it seemed like everything they were dialing up was working and here we are in the third quarter and there's a very rare incompletion on their own end of the field maybe that's the play the defense needs now to spark some momentum he'll get away another pun really active today and no doubt he's going to earn his varsity L NC State sending the offense back onto the field how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did David I mean that was a master class in just reading coverage and being accurate his quarterback has been really good today has been on top of it seeing things really really well that pass right there put him over the 300 yd Mark that's a pretty good day offense getting set for first down makes a pass to marker there to make the Stop and we played three in this one and you want to talk about his favorite receiver it might be everybody based on the number of guys getting touches and a chance to show off their hands in the passing game when you're dealing with a deficit like this it's all about somebody stepping up to make a play and you might as well start here in the fourth quarter looking for space it's Waters and it's just simple simple first down run showing your physicality setting your offense up in a good spot after the productive first down play it's second and six to the air it's Mall fires to the tight end he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks well they pick up the first against Zone coverage I think a big part of this for young quarterbacks out there is if you're going to be throwing into Zone coverage you got to throw on time you can't stare down receivers because the entire defense has their eyes on you so you can't Telegraph where the ball's going you've got to hold it to the very second try to freeze Defenders with your eyes and then throw the ball into open areas of the field anticipating where your gu's going to be blast his way ahead but not much room a pick up of one to the 24 and these defensive tackles just eat people they swallow human beings when you get near them they're so big so strong those guys those running backs coming they just need a m they put one mid on a running back and he usually falls to the ground just because of their sheer mass and strength trying to impose their will with the run and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that it's hard to run on a defense that comes off the ball like that and runs to the football like that good luck no holes anywhere they got a ways to go on third down from the 24 as this defense tries to force him into a field goal try they'll leave it with him and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker down possession here in the fourth and they'll need to convert on this fourth down he'll try to throw and pick up the first down makes the catch he's got enough they get him down but this offense is set up first and goal the nine that's a great example of the receiver knowing exactly where the first down marker is he got the depth he needed to get so once he was able to make the catch he already knew he had it now a fresh set of downage and this is a significant moment for this offense down eight first and goal needing a touchdown and a two to tie pushes ahead for two to the seven yd line defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming got it and he wanted to score badly but the defense wrestles him down at the two I love offenses and quarterbacks that are willing to take the easy stuff take those easy throws that are guaranteed to get positive yards yeah I'm going to Big Shots down the field too but don't forget it's easier to pick up second and five third and five than it is when we start getting those long yard situations the option look he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three man it has been a long drive offensively I just feel like you got to pay this off and be aggressive you're down close punch it in for a touchdown here paully yeah and inside the three yd line I think I might try to finish this off with a touchdown I ate up a ton of clock wor these guys out now they'd have to go the length of the field if I missed wants to throw it's Mall makes the grab how about that defense rising up and stopping him short on fourth down they've got him pinned back and they're trying to Rattle their e drums listen to this crowd and he broke one tackle on the way to a solid pick up there and this is a pressing time for this defense they've got to understand they're backed up a little bit they're going to run the football they want to make a mistake so I think this is the time I'm a little bit more aggressive I I got to get this football back to my offense because I'm trailing so I look for this defense to get a little bit aggressive hand off from the gun they finally make the stop with the big run is plenty to move those sticks for the first down man it's so nice to have a guy that you can depend on like offense is built around him for a reason just a a good running back you can see gets north south doesn't dance picks up positive yards breaks tackles he's just a really good player and that's why this offense runs through from the gun the ground game they'll rip off eight on that play it's second and two they've got a lead here in the fourth quarter and there's certainly still plenty of football to go but this is where you'd love to control the flow of the game right you want to dictate everything to the defense and you do that by running the football that was a really nice run this offensive line is firing off late looks like they're getting stronger as the game goes on and that is a good sign for the offense softened him up with the run now to throw a strike down field off he goes he's at the 10 couldn't quite nudge it in not sure you could get much closer but it'll be goal after giving up that big shot defensively how confident are you calling that coverage again you're now on your own end of the field and now your backs are against the wall and this defense has to step forward not only do they have to get a stop they've got to do it quickly to keep that time from running down trying to pound it in and he takes it to the house touchdown Tennessee if you want to know how to reach this guy just send his mail to the end zone that's where he lives he definitely is today and I think the defense has to be getting a little sick and tired of the same guy beating him time and time again lining up to attack one more under that [Applause] lead and the extra point splits the upright in the lead balloons to 15 a very efficient five play scoring Drive and they finish it off with a short Plunge Into The End Zone from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position and the returner will be knocked down line gets set first down give to the back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple most offensive schemes are predicated on first down productivity that will not go down as a productive first down Play No it will not Reese give this defensive line credit because they were able to get penetration right off the snap and force a negative play after getting knocked back to open this drive it's second and 12 grabbed over the middle it's Rogers and good coverage by the defense just a short gain well and here's the problem offensively because you're trailing by so much so late in the game the defense now is going to be playing big Zone coverages and they're going to allow you to throw the ball underneath in the middle the field rally to make a tackle and bleed the clock it's going to be hard now for this offense to claw their way back in this one back to throw it's Mcall looking to the big tight end he's got an open man and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play I think if you're the head coach at this point you're telling your offense doesn't matter what's happened up to this point of the game obviously things haven't gone our way but we have a chance to execute in a twoin situation and give ourselves a chance to win let's go do it one play at a time takes a hand off it's Waters One Step W twep squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you can give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first after picking up a couple it's second and eight he's looking to throw fires to the wide out he's open on the right oh look out touchdown Wolfpack and once he found some daylight it was time to make a house call one of the reasons this offense is so exciting to watch they've got guys that are dangerous after the catch if this quarterback gets through his progression David gets you in stride these guys will take it to the house man it's your job to do the rest right you hit me in stride where I don't have to stop running I don't have to break down it makes it so easy the connection between quarterback wide receiver you can tell this is a good one and that's why they got six on that play and with the lead sitting at n they try to make it a one possession game and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer a very efficient five play scoring drive and they close the deal with a 58 yd touchdown pass the kickoff unit about to go to work fielded In The End Zone it's white I know he thinks he can house every return sometimes you just have to take a knee as he stopped at the 14 now they'll run it on the toss he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple as an offense you've got the lead you've had success running the football you hope that this play is just a blit because you know you're going to have to lean on your bellal running back ice this game and the volunteers come to the line in the hurry up running back searching for a hole good blocking up front great job following it he's got six to the 18 and ball security at this point is at a premium for this offense you're backed up in your own end you've got the lead so you want to be able to run the football and stay on the field bleed the clock but you know the defense is going to be ripping away at it right they're going to be trying to get hats to the football and forcing a fumble so whoever's got the ball he's got to have two hands on it this drive throws to the wide out caught over the middle it's white and he gets it to the 44 yd line it'll be a first down boy the defense really needed to get off the field there and they just couldn't do it and it's a fresh set of downs man that hurts when you're trailing late in the ball game you need those stops and you get them to third down you get them to those critical points now they get the first down you don't have many left you better get aggressive out of the gun they'll run it inside he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three at some point enough is enough this is the guy that's beating he's priority number one we got to go get him it's getting later in the second half I got to go out and make some plays get my offense the ball back last play was a near disaster now dealing with second and 13 from the gun the running back tries to hit the hole and the defense snows him under after a very short gain let's see what they find in the playbook for third and long from the 43 back to throw it's yam malava unloads to the wide out here's an interception oh did they need that turnover not a lot on the return but they can live with that as they've got it at the 49 man we needed that so bad we needed the football had to get a stop forcing a turnover best case scenario offense back on the field trailing in the fourth quarter time to go win North Carolina state has it back in the offense headed to the field that last touchdown Drive was surgical through the air Jesse it sure was and that's why this offense is so dangerous David because they can score in a hurry because of how efficient they are throwing the football and welcome to Modern college football that's what it is spread you out find my Playmakers make quick decisions and really put defenses in a difficult situation and here comes the offense on second [Applause] down the give to the tailb back and excellent Vision to find Running Room there and make a really good pick up before the defense put a stop to it I tell you what with this kind of success on the ground I I think you two Knuckleheads could call play I mean that's how easy it is for this def right now they got the ground game working it's really easy now you can open up for other things but you guys could even try your hand because they're dominating right now they'll ride the hot hand trying to pound their way forward he picks up a couple to the 31 they're strong and they're SC defensive tackles they're SC they're such big jokers in the Middle where they just lock out those offensive linemen and running backs listen they don't have of a you got that 300 plus pound guy grabbing you around the shoulder pad you tend to go to the ground pretty quickly fires to the wide out all kinds of room to throw that one in there and he'll take it in and house it touchdown NC St this is like a baseball pitcher that can't miss he is just pounding pounding pounding the strike zone it just gets in the zone right and you can't miss you've seen quarterbacks get like that what they do they're on fire they're hitting the receivers and listen that's also on the defense the defense has to do a better job making him feel uncomfortable changing what they're doing in coverage so he's a little bit confused you can't just let him pick you apart after the score they need this two-point conversion to [Applause] tie He just flat dropped it I think he wanted to run before he secured [Applause] it about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown on the run from inside his own five and the coverage team able to wrestle him down the volunteer offense is back and they hope it's touchdown time in Tennessee boy they hope this next Drive is more productive after throwing a pick last time Jesse Yeah and the coaches did a good job on the sideline there just talking to the Young quarterback and making sure he's able to turn the page calm him down to go out and refocus this drive D yeah and some people do that better than others but you got to show some trust in him maybe get the ground game going help around him a little bit with this system with a first down they'll snap it from the 32 they'll keep it on the ground the clock on their side slams ahead for a yard out to the 33 this offense thinks that they have enough left in the tank here to run the football and run all the time off the clock they got the lead late didn't get the first down on that last one but it's not going to surprise anybody if they turn around and hand it off again here they'll probably bleed every second possible off this clock before they snap it he'll pull it on the read that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there quarterbacks generally guys we know they're not as big and not as physical Runners as running backs so it is going to be trickier for them to break tackles I like the idea getting the designed quarterback run game going moving forward let's see we can get to the [Applause] perimeter he'll do it himself at the 45 on it way he found plenty of room and he gets it to the 9 Y Line and if a quarterback's going to have success in the Run game he's got to have guys helping him out right it's not just the offensive lineman it's not just the running back doing a good job selling the Run fake but these receivers they're doing a great job getting down field and getting some blocks and the balls are flying down the [Applause] field he leaves it with his back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible hit a little speed bump on this drive it's second and 12 takes a hand off it's Samson and a good solid pick up there before the defense knocks him down quick timeout called by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense these fans steing up to help this defense on third down looking to throw it's IAM malava and it's picked off that's the turnover they desperately needed he'll try to take it back the 30 and the senior just snatched the ball out of the air and gave it back to his offense what a momentum change in Play Just when they needed to get the takeway he steps up with a massive interception now gives his team a chance to regain the lead here in the fourth [Applause] quarter NC State sending the offense back onto the [Applause] field quarterback on the keeper they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one nice job by the defense there getting a stop on the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage we know they've been burned a few times early in this game by the QB run but they weren't going to let it happen there going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down he's looking to throw touchdown North Carolina State they move on top here in the fourth and of these make it look so easy but these are tight windows down here man there's not a lot of space in the field and he drops back knows exactly where he's going with the football throws it in there makes the play and more importantly now his team is in the lead in the fourth quarter they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point is good and the lead is five here in the fourth they got the ball in great field position and Bam Bam two plays and into the end zone lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive he'll start the return inside his SP he was looking for more running room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 Tennessee ready to go to work the Big Orange offense on the field boy they had that last Drive moving a little bit David but and he throws another interception his third of the night and timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense after getting knocked back to open this drive it's second and 12 they'll go to the ground and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they get him down timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having settle for the field goal they'll try to run for it and they did not let him get to that first down line it'll bring up a call here quick timeout called by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense and now on fourth down they will put it on the shoulders of the kicker to save them with his foot and it's right down the boulevard that's a huge kick right there because now the opponent has to score a touchdown here in the fourth quarter that put so much pressure on the opponent now nice job by the Special Teams going out and executing in a big [Music] moment the last thing you want to do here give up a big return pin them back and then the defense can just stop them from scoring a touchdown here he comes from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 they'll throw it on first down and that's just a flat misfire not even close to his receiver and how nice is it have the home crowd going absolutely bananas communication is harder the snapping the football everybody being on time man this crowd really affecting the football game they've got to move quickly here
