when answering difficult questions on the other hand Tulsi gabbard a former congresswoman from Hawaii and lieutenant colonel in the Army National Guard is very strong when asked Tulsi gabbed has been mainstream media they're saying oh you know don't expect much from KLA Harris in the way of policies and details and plans and we're not going to know much about what kind of President she's going to be because she doesn't have much time they're they're conv veniently ignoring the fact that she's been there working in the White House the last 3 and A2 years alongside Joe Biden she's been the last one in the room according to her as these big decisions are being made but we look at who she says her response to the Dick Cheney announcement today was that she was honored to have his endorsement and we got military veterans in the house got a lot of you [Music] who probably served in the Middle East like I did and so it it sickened me Tucker to read those words today both from Dick Cheney Liz Cheney and kamla Harris because we have people who we care very much about who were killed in those Wars because of Dick Cheney Harris has told us all we need to know about what kind of Carlson who has been traveling to various cities and drawing large crowds setting that aside Cala Harris's response to the situation reveals a lot about her position within the establishment The Honorable course of action would have been to either ignore or outright announced the situation but she has chosen not to do so this reluctance is indicative of her alignment with the establishment's agenda which prioritizes the interests of donors Elites and the political status quo over those of the American people this agenda pushes for more war bigger government and increased power all of which benefit the establishment rather than the public as the upcoming debate approaches Harris has expressed her stance but it remains to be seen how she would address these criticisms the next part every day as he's out with the American people across the country as he's doing interview after interview Town Hall after town hall and so for for me if if there's anything that I can be helpful with it really is just sharing the experience that I had with her on that debate stage and the kinds of tactics I think she will try to use to uh perhaps get under his skin or or really to try to deflect away her goal is going to be to deflect away from her disastrous record that has caused greater harm to the American people in so many ways and shift to to the the new story the new narrative that she wants to make voters believe and and hopes that they will forget what she's already done over these last three and a half years many voters who are still undecided are facing financial difficulties and they lack confidence that Cala Harris will improve their situation if anything they expect her policies will worse in it this sentiment is reflected in the recent New York Times Sienna poll where people view her more of the same a continuation of the current administration's approach which they blame for economic problems like inflation if I were strategizing for Harris's campaign I would focus on making Donald Trump appear angry and frustrated not by debating policy but through personal attacks as this is her best chance of gaining an upper hand she can't rely on policy debates alone because her record won't stand up to scrutiny moreover this debate will be especially challenging for for her as it's her first presidential debate and she hasn't been very visible to the public K seems to be avoiding these critiques much like they did with Joe Biden before his debates they supported him until he faltered and only then acknowledged his flaws Ken's current approach to Harris seems similarly biased as evident in their interview with Tulsi gabber down to the Harris Trump debate and my next guest is a former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and congresswoman who endorsed Trump this week and is helping him prepare for that debate here with me now is former congresswoman tulsey gabber thank you so much for being here uh vice president Harris's campaign manager released a memo this morning saying they expect former president Trump to be a quote formidable opponent on the debate stage do you think KLA Harris will be a formidable opponent as well and how is the former president preparing to debate her yeah I think kamla Harris has a lot of experience she is not to be underestimated uh president Trump and vice president kamla Harris have very different records this is a unique situation where we have two candidates who have served at the highest offices in the land president Trump four years as president kamla Harris now almost four years as vice president working alongside President Biden and so this will be an opportunity for voters to look at and compare and contrast those records uh if if I can be helpful to president Trump in any way way it really is just in sharing the experience that I had with her on that debate stage in 2020 and frankly helping to point out some ways that kamla Harris has already shown that she is trying to move away from her record move away from her positions and uh how that contradicts the positions and statements that she is making now that she is the Democratic nominee and it is a remarkable situation in that you are uh a uh Democrat who debated her at a Democratic primary and now you are helping the Republican uh nominee to debate her and on that I remember in 2020 you attacked Harris for being too aggressive as a prosecutor which is the opposite from what Donald Trump is saying about her as weak on crime so which is it what I pointed out in that debate stage in the 2020 campaign was her hypocrisy it was how she was saying one thing and doing another how she was Prosecuting people for for smoking marijuana and laughing about it when she was asked about it uh on a radio show and I think this goes to the heart of many of these different issues that we're seeing now that KLA Harris is is trying to hide from voters is how she says her position is one thing but her actions and her record show exactly the opposite and you can point to that on issues related uh to the economy issues related to freedom of speech she says she stands for freedom of speech and yet as we've seen time and time again her and Joe Biden have taken actions both directly and indirectly to censor Free Speech uh most recently I can point to my own experience of this of how the Harris Biden Administration have added me to a secret domestic Terror watch list the very day after uh kamla Harris was endorsed by Joe Biden and I was on TV and warning the American people about what I saw as the dangers of a kamla Harris presidency taking action that was clearly political retaliation they've done this to a lot of different people which points to how dangerous it is to have people in power so willing to abuse that power to go after political opponent now hold on I want you to focus on danna's face when telsey gabard calls out Joe Biden and Camala Harris for placing her on a terror watch list and the moment is particularly revealing when danab bash's reaction is closely observed as gabad delivers this accusation bash's expression noticeably changes showing visible discomfort it almost seems as if she's sick to her stomach reinforcing the tension of the moment the discomfort suggests that gabbard's pointed critique hit a sensitive nerve particularly in the context of discussing political retaliation and government over Reach This reaction adds an unspoken layer of tension to the already charged conversation Terror watch list the very day after uh kamla Harris was endorsed by Joe Biden and I was on TV and warning the American people about what I saw as the dangers of a comma Harris presidency taking action that was clearly political it's unfortunate to see how biased the news has become especially in how questions are asked during interviews there's no attempt to be neutral as Democrats aren't asked tough questions on controversial topics while Republicans are targeted K's bias against tulsey gabard is clear because they can't control her and she's seen as a threat in the context of her debate with Camala Harris the dynamic was different from past debates as it was woman V woman Harris's previous debate with Mike Pence was a completely different scenario and gabard was right to criticize Harris Cala Harris is arguably the least likable candidate for president compared to others like Barack Obama Mitt Romney and even Joe Biden telsey gabard exposed Harris in 2019 and Donald Trump is expected to do the same in their upcoming debate Trump's strategy should be to focus on Harris's weaknesses particularly issues like inflation the border and Biden's mental Fitness while avoiding personal defenses gabbard clearly has a future in politics and many hope to see
