Young and the Restless: Billy & Sally Share Sadness & Then Hit the Sheets? #yr

you're listening to soap dirt the latest in television entertainment news hey ynr fans so Billy Abbott made very sure that Sally Spectra found out Adam cheated on her but are Billy and Sally going to go too far while coping with the pain of their Betrayal on the CBS soap it's Belinda from soap dirt and let's dive into how twisted this storyline may get soon so on Young the Restless this week we saw drunk and devastated Billy at Adam's Place calling him a coward and ranting and you know Chelsea even warned Adam that she confessed so he should have heeded that warning and immediately come clean to Sally because her finding out from Billy made it all so much worse and of course Adam was enraged that Billy showed up and threw that emotional ha hand grenade and then left but you know I think we all know that the Abbot wasn't trying to hurt Sally instead I think Billy felt she was entitled to know and in his mind he was doing the right thing he doesn't think she deserves the lies and betrayal that Adam has been feeding her so you know after Sally raged at Adam about all the lies the Betrayal the cheating the lack of credibility all the excuses she packed up to leave him and again it wasn't so much about that one night with Chelsea it was about all the other lies and betrayal around it so Adam tried very hard to convince her to you know stay to have faith forgive him but Sally is not there for his gaslighting anymore she doesn't want any of it their breakup you know was a nuclear blast she is so hurt she's done walking out that's it meanwhile Billy and Chelsea's breakup seems to be in low gear moving forward but low gear and I told you guys here before that I expected one of these two couples would survive the cheating reveal about what Chelsea and Adam did and I suspect that Billy and Chelsea might last a while longer as an official couple before they fracture for good but I don't see a long-term happily ever after for them honestly I never did and with this in play now I think that's definitely off the table I mean Billy would have preferred that Chelsea sleep with literally anyone else in town besides Adam I think Chelsea could have hopped in the sack with Victor and Billy might have let it slide but Adam no way Billy will never get that out of his head and later this week on ynr Chelsea is pressing Billy about forgiving her and you know really the only reason he didn't tell Chelsea you know we're done and just walk away is because Billy knows Chelsea is fragile he knows Connor is fragile Billy doesn't want to dump her and then Chelsea engage in self harm and then he winds up blaming himself and of course Billy and Chelsea both know this is going to be hard for Connor and if it wasn't for those motherson mental health complications I do think Billy would have stomped off without a backwards glance meanwhile Sally is I'm sure heading back to the gcac to resume Hotel living because she can't stand to be around Adam and you know there's a chance Sally May forgive him eventually there's a lot of fans that like that pairing but for right now Adam is on the outs with his girl and Billy is not giving Chelsea an answer because he he doesn't know how he can forgive her how he can get past this and he ran into her and Connor at Crimson lights late this week and he was super nice to Chelsea son like he always is and he kind of you know pretended they were still a couple and the thing is Billy's not going to go on like that all right let's flip gears over and now let's talk about Sally and Billy you know they have gotten to be really good friends over the past few months while Chelsea and Adam were focused on Connor and too busy to be with them as much as they'd like so at the same time Billy never ever crossed lines with Sally and neither did she they never flirted they never touched each other I I can't even remember if they ever hugged you know it was all just very platonic very mature very appropriate and now though Sally and Billy are both really hurting and so I would not be surprised at all if yinr did a parallel storyline that had them hooking up so you remember Chelsea slept with Adam in Baltimore because they had just the worst day ever that was the day Connor tried to stab himself with an ink pen after they visited him and you know it was all just too much for Chelsea handle so when Adam showed up with booze they drowned their sorrows in the hooch and that's when things took a wrong turn it wasn't about lust or passion or even love you know there was obviously residual feelings because they did once deeply love each other but it was more about Adam and Chelsea needing an outlet for their anxiety and you know their absolute Terror that their son was going to hurt himself permanently perhaps fatally so the bottle of booze wasn't enough to cure the ache inside them and that's why they did what they did so absolutely yes I could see Young and the Restless doing a mirror image of that but with Sally and Billy you know I can picture Sally in her room at the gcac all teary getting tipsy on some room service wine and then Billy as a friend just stops by to check on her cuz he's concerned and them commiserating over falling for Chelsea and Adam's lies could absolutely lead Sally and Billy to finish the wine swap over to vodka Tears Could Turn to something else and they might take out their frustrations on Sally's mattress you know I don't expect Billy would head over to Sally's hotel room with the intent to get in her yoga pants but I could see it winding up that way just because they're so hurt they feel so betrayed they're heartbroken it's just a lot strong emotions just like those that led Adam to fell to fall in bed with Chelsea and you know Billy and Sally might take comfort in each other and it turns to intimacy but what then realistically neither of them owe Adam or Chelsea a confession or an explanation because these relationships basically for all intents and purposes were over before this happens if it happens to be clear I am not saying Billy is going to go over to the gcac and get in bed with Sally there's no official spoilers about that I'm talking about what makes sense for the storyline based on their history based on what happened with their partners and what's going on now honestly I think it would be a great twist obviously their exes would find out and Adam would assume Billy seduced Sally to punish him he would assume she got in bed with his his arch nemesis to hurt him Chelsea probably wouldn't be nearly as angry and might look at it as Billy and Sally were hurt and just comforted each other you know Chelsea might even think she and Adam deserve some payback slapping them in the face a little karmic retribution but what would be even more Twisted than just Billy winding up in bed with Sally is if she got pregnant they've brought up recently the sad reminder about the baby little Ava that Sally and Adam lost so imagine if she got pregnant by Billy you know they're they're both fertile as far as I know and oh my gosh Adam would lose the plot entirely he would rage and an Adam who's unhinged is a really good soapy messy Adam so and of course you know Billy loves kids he'd be happy as a clam because he wouldn't mind having one more and especially because it would drive Adam crazy you know might see it as some kind of Revenge served cold karmic retribution for deia's death anyway I know I'm getting a littlee of myself but this is a tangent that I hope to see maybe not the pregnancy part because soap Writers Do tend to have baby rabies and we don't really need more little babies on the set but more so just about Sally and Billy opening up to each other while they're truly just devastated their hearts are crushed and things go somewhere that would be very understandable while they need comforting we'll see how it goes but that's what I'm hoping to see drop your comments Please Subscribe if you're not already
