again in Oklahoma from runoff to propositions the people have spoken Ken ABY Heyman you are live in our studio with those results that's right Southern Oklahoma taxpayers hit the polls today and we've got the unofficial results in let's get into it the primary elections forced a runoff in Carter County this time we have a winner Owen longest is the new Republican Carter County District 2 commissioner longus got 53% of the vote and his opponent Caleb Miller got 4 7 Marshall County taxpayers voted yes for the Kingston Public Schools proposition 87% yes and 133% no this is a $17 million Bond that's the district they're saying it's not going to increase taxes the money will be used for roofs and classrooms in the Elementary and high school buildings along with a new safe room in the elementary school and turf for baseball and softball fields people in love County voted 70% for and 30% against the bond proposal for therville public schools this is a $7.9 million bond for the district to build new baseball and softball facilities with new concessions press boxes of restrooms and new stands on school grounds this also will not increase taxes and Boswell Public Schools they had two propositions on the ballot today in Brian County and chocka County County Proposition one passed with 54% voting yes and 46% voting no that's going to be used for drainage and parking improvements and proposition number two also passed with 54% for and 46% against that'll be used for transportation Vehicles you can head over to k10.2 news
