2023 US Open Champion wendam Clark is stopping here at the Broncos facility you're back in town to compete in the BMW Championship we appreciate you making a pit stop though well it's my favorite team and I'm home and I don't get to do this very often so it's kind of fun to come back and watch watch the pony play well you got a very special gift from head coach Shawn Payton as a lifelong Broncos fan what was that moment like to you and what did it mean I mean I've grown up watching the Broncos play a lot of the greats have become good friends and um then to have one of the great coaches and our coach for the Broncos talk and say nice things about me and bring me bring me up in front of the team was really neat so what is one of your earliest memories of being a Broncos fan is there a favorite player that you had um I was definitely a huge OA maccaffrey guy um early on and then as we went through the ranks I loved Clinton poris Champ Bailey um those were some of my favorites Al Wilson and then obviously when pton came in and won some Super Bowls that was pretty cool too well you got to be in the huddle with the guy we saw you talking to obviously the head coach what is your excitement level for this season are we going to see you at any games oh heck yeah I go I almost go every year um if I live in Arizona now and here sometime so if we ever play the Cardinals I definitely go and then when I get home I try to go to a game I you know actually after watching the first couple preseason games I'm I'm really excited I like a lot of the new faces they look good and I'm an Oregon Duck so I I looked uh I I really liked how Bo Nicks looked like last night and I'm excited for him now we know you have Keegan Bradley here too are you going to convert him to a Broncos fan What's the progress there um I mean he's a longtime Pats fan so I don't know if that's going to happen but I did walk over to him when we got in here and um I think Bo made like a nice pass to a guy and it was a good play and I turned over and I said that's what championship teams look like and he laughed so um I would love for him to be a Broncos fan but that's never going to happen well we can dream and obviously we can there's nothing better than being a Broncos fan right I agree yeah the best so can we get go Broncos for Broncos Country yep go Broncos baby
