7 standouts from the Cowboys Vs Chargers Preseason Game ( Did Duece Vaughn do enough?)

you know this is what Trey Lance can do that Cooper Rush can't do the problem is Trey you can't throw five interceptions I don't care how they come it just looks bad let's talk about this game [Music] let's get to a few standouts from this game and we got to talk about Trey Lance first I want to talk about him that play the play that I led with that is what is so enticing about Trey Lance just Flatout athleticism but you there's never going to be a game that you can throw five interceptions in I can even two I can live with one it happens two okay but you made plays but five you know the last one obviously you're just trying to get the ball in the end zone just stopped throwing the ball to 14 you know he gets roughed off uh the the fourth one he gets roughed the third one I can't excuse it and in the Red Zone I can't excuse it even the first one you know floro broke open late but I just can't excuse that Trey Lance was going to be one of my standouts I had it written down on the paper I loved what he was doing and then the pick started coming and then they never stopped coming it was like every Drive was either a pick or something goofy fumbles off the the snaps so some of this stuff it's interesting because I still there's a part of me that believes that with Trey Lance if Dak were to get hurt I I still don't want to see Cooper Rush yes he can move the offense but he doesn't do anything to scare defenses I think that with Lance you would have to change your offense and change your scheme but at least nonetheless he has the the element of being a great athlete we did see that he literally ran past the whole defense and he made some throws like he had a touchdown that should have been caught he he made some throws it's just some of the throws he's laid on and those interceptions I just can't excuse those I'm I'm Mr positive but I can't excuse those but number two well Tre Lance is not a standout he's a stand in he's a I don't know what he is because honestly he didn't I don't know but one person on this list is duvon I love the way he ran even getting open in space Trey missed him on a pass and that was I will kind of excuse that one because duvon is literally like five5 but I've been kind of on the fence with Deuce because I didn't want to fall down his trap of oh yeah he's the Cowboys darling and you know whatever but he just looks like he has more popped in pretty much every running back that's on the roster I just don't know how they'll rotate him or what he'll look like or if they're just going to go with the the normal run-of-the-mill let's just make sure zcast carries I don't know so but I mean I'll say this how he played today he deserves to make the team Izzy Mamu Iz he had a nice pass breakup and obviously we know the news now with Don Bland possibly missing you know the first four or five games of the Season how cornerback is going to be carried I'm just waiting to hear it looks like it's going to be Kaylin Carson and I'm fine with that like I don't think there's a I don't think that there's a vet out there right now that you just go get and he's just the cleanest for your scheme like I don't see that I think that kayin Carson to me with him going through Camp he'll have issues he'll have his Wars but he's shown enough to be able to play on the outside I'm gonna go with Kaylin Carson number one on this list honestly is Ryan floro Flo floi floro however you want to say his name he's on the team um and honestly if he was there from the beginning of Camp you'd be having a conversation about this guy really getting some usage and getting some Targets in game um he just has something that I think that Turpin doesn't have and that I think that Jaylen Brooks doesn't have when I talk about Turpin I think Turpin has the speed he has the electricity he he's he's a he's a fine player I just don't know if he does receiver things better than floi and then Brooks I don't know if Brooks has the yak ability that I think floro has and like the ability to run after the catch the ability to be a big body his his Blessing and his to me his superpower is how much he can like he he's a big human being and I think that that matters so Ryan Flo to me was the biggest Runner of this game he keeps getting in the end zone he keeps finding himself open he just looks like a big imposing receiver out there and that matters Like That Matters to DBS that matters defensive coordinators and so I think that it's going to be interesting the receiver room but I think that there has to you have to find a way to keep this guy and I think that you probably were going to after last week's performance but this just solidified it so that was good green check up for him awesome Richard Buddy Johnson and Mary Bill those were some players that jumped off the screen to me uh awesome Richard had some really good blocks Buddy Johnson had a few plays um and pass Pro and you know he knocks the ball down he's knifing in there for tackles and then mares Bell I didn't know why Mars Bell played so much um I don't know if they're trying to shop him I don't know but I do know this when he's out there he makes tackles he's where he's supposed to be um so we'll see what happens with the safety room but I roll him down who are some of your guys' standouts from this game I had high hopes for Andrew Booth I was thinking like okay Booth Carson they can hold the fourth down until until um blang gets back back till donon bland is now back and in booth just let Simi foko run right past him and shout out to Simi you know playing against his former team I know that felt great for him and booth just he ran right past him so yes he's a good tackler but he's not really that great in coverage and this is his second week getting ran past so it's like listen as a corner your job is to cover first and you know people give Trayvon digs oh he doesn't tackle that's fine I mean you would like him to tackle but you don't need him getting his doors blown off so we're GNA have to see what happens with donon Bland and if they go get a guy some of the corners you know Patrick Peterson I'm okay I'm I'm just I'm good on Patrick Peterson few of the other names we'll see JC Jackson he fell out of favor in I think La he was decent with the Patriots but I mean I don't know what he really offers at this point in his career so we'll just have to see but the preseason is now over done now on to the Browns content will be coming your way um we'll be talking about the 53 uh we'll probably I'll probably
