Sonia firstly how did it feel to be on the sidelines as Chelsea boss for the first time yeah I'm really happy with the results it's always good to start with a win and uh especially because I think we have been really efficient in the 31st minutes in the game and this is something really good so yeah tonight I'm also happy because we have been working in our game model and I could see some strong points uh tonight even if there is always room for improvement and obviously that's the point of preseason I guess is to make those connections were you impressed with with how your players play together today yeah I'm really happy with the performance of the team and uh even some individuals I just think like uh even the young players who came in in the second half they were doing really good and I think it's good to have yet this good level in the squad because we really will have a uh we will uh need everyone during the season so it's always good to have this competition and to especially in the first game in uh the preseason to feel like players are uh uh already working really well and uh yeah we are doing good job and it's obviously first game in front of the Chelsea fans did you hear them today yeah yeah yeah it was really cool to hear them they were behind us supporting us and even now you can see their faces they are really happy and this is something we need to also consider because uh yeah we play uh just when enjoy the game but also to make them feel uh uh happy and be uh like uh really positive with the win brilliant thank you Sonia thank you so much yoyo firstly how does it feel to be back out there in a Chelsea shirt I really enjoyed it it was very very fun to play today and um of course first game is always um yeah look everything doesn't look great all the time but I think overall we did a good game and two goals for yourself is that exactly the start you wanted to preseason I mean yeah of course it's always nice to score and to to get the confidence um I need those goals so yeah I'm happy and obviously a lot of new players a lot of young players came on as well is that the point of preseason to sort of make those connections as a team yeah definitely a lot of new connections and I think um yeah we talked about it before to be confidence and to to be brave today and I think everyone the the new players the young players everyone really showed the showed up today and uh always good to see that and obviously talked about showing up the fans as well lots of Chelsea fans in the arena today did you feel them of course I mean you could hear them from the from the warmup it's um so fun to see that um yeah they come all the way here and um yeah we have that support with us and obviously we're off to Washington to play Arsenal next what do you sort of expect from that game I mean it's still preseason I think we have a lot to positive things to build on from from this game and I think it's going to be another game I mean they're also in the preseason so I think we just need to focus about um ourselves and to build on what we did good today so yeah it's going to be an interesting game
