2024 Fantasy Football- Breece Hall or Bijan Robinson (Who to draft)

hey what's up everybody welcome to the show so glad to have you guys in today we're going to be talking about a debate that's going on at the running back position and has been going on at the running back position pretty much all offseason and that's whether to take breez hall or bejon Robinson after Christian mcaffrey so I'm GNA start right here with the first player I want to talk about Breeze Hall and I'm going to be talking about things I like about him and I'm going to be talking about things I like about bejan Robinson comparing the two and at the end of this video I'm going to tell you who I'm going to be drafting over the other so I'm going to start right here with my first player Bree hall now this is a guy that obviously has Elite Speed and big playability we love them as a prospect he shown Nothing but Extreme Talent at the NFL level last year despite terrible quarterback play Still displayed the big playability and everything like that we know that this is a guy who uh can get double digit Targets in certain weeks and dominate as a pass catcher and he's got an older quarterback in Aaron Rogers who's probably going to be checking down the ball a lot and you look at all of this and last year he was coming back from a Tor ACL and he wasn't really cut loose until week five because they were easing him into the season and despite that he still finished as the running back three in all of fantasy behind only Christian mcaffry and Raheem Moser so this is a dude who obviously has extreme upside if you could really not even get used at all until week five and still be the running back three overall that's absolutely amazing he won on a tear late in the season and won people a ton of money on Underdog fantasy and this year I see him doing something similar I mean this is a dude who's just so good talent wise you know the he he's one of those rare combinations of size speed and vision and you just don't get that with running backs now but he's got it all and now you add Aaron roders to the offense you have an offense that can be very very good this season assuming everybody stays healthy they look absolutely phenomenal in training camp Garrett Wilson looks like a beast this is going to be a team that provides plenty of Red Zone scoring opportunities for Breeze Hall and he doesn't even need Red Zone scoring opportunities because he could score from anywhere on the field because he's so Dynamic but the point is this team is going to be in the Red Zone often they're going to be scoring a lot beon has massive touchdown upside if he can do what he did last year coming back from a Tor ACL with a bad quarterback play imagine what he can do this year with significantly better health way better health two years removed from the torn ACL and significantly better quarterback play the sky is the limit for Bree Hall if he was the best player in all of fantasy I wouldn't be surprised I love drafting him this year uh and that's why he's one of the top picks so I'm going to go right here over to our next player that we're talking about and that is bejan Robinson now this is a guy who's obviously the best Prospect we've seen in a while um his yards per carry and yards uh per touch efficiency was very very good last season we finally have the upgrade at quarterback that he needed last year playing with the the bad quarterback just wasn't good it's never a recipe for success for running backs because when you look at it in a nutshell you're like hey this running back's going to be getting a ton of volume they're talented therefore they're going to produce but at the end of the day if you're in a bad offense it's hard to score touchdowns and especially in standard and half PPR formats if you can't score touchdowns you really can't be that good uh the only format where you canot score touchdowns and be good is PPR and that's if you're just absolutely eating out of the back field and the fact of the matter is they just weren't using beon last year Arthur Smith would not cut vion loose they spent overall top eight draft Capital to draft this guy and they still didn't use him right I mean like why put him in a time share right now there's been a few different pieces of discussion this off season when it comes to bejon and really what they've been saying all offseason is that they're going to cut bejon loose they're going to use him they're going to give him the ball in as many high leverage situations as possible and then there was a report more recently saying that Tyler aler is going to be cutting into was work loaded it's going to be a time share again I personally don't buy this I don't think that they have plans of doing what didn't work last year it makes absolutely no sense you have this weapon in bejon Robinson and the biggest reason your offense failed last year is because you didn't cut him loose and so you're going to come in and with a new coaching staff and a better quarterback do the same thing again it just doesn't make sense they're going to use bejon more this year they're going to cut him loose this dude's going to freaking explode and with a better quarterback and Kirk Cousins and a better off offense and thus having better touchdown upside I love bejon Robinson this year I think he has the upside to be the running back one now obviously I love both of these running backs but when it comes down to it my decision at the end of the day when it comes to these two running backs officially is Breeze Hall I just I I can't not draft Breeze Hall this season he's one of my most owned players on Underdog and if you've noticed that in Underdog drafts he's starting to get taken a lot of times as a second or third overall pick because there's all this uncertainty at the wide receiver position and that's what makes Bree Hall and bejon such good picks because you know there's uncertainty with Jamar Chase with the contract there's uncertainty with cidd Lan with the contract so you know uh you know Justin Jefferson the quarterback situation how's that going to shake out so there's all these receivers up top that have question marks and that makes Breeze Hall and bejon Robinson very good picks in the early round uh you know in round one and that's why I wanted to go over these running backs today but at the end of the day uh as much as I love both of these guys and I think that they both have game breaking talent and League breaking upside I give the slight nod to Breeze Hall all right guys I appreciate you tuning in catch you later
