honey TDY gosh almighty who the heck are they hey Flim Flam BIM Bam oh miss by guy and welcome to V heaving way Stadium where the rebels are ready to take the field we have a ranked versus unranked battle coming up here and you know how chaos can ensue and they start smelling an upset as we'll see a squad from Conference USA the Middle Tennessee blue Raiders taking on the fifth ranked team in the land the Old Miss for EA Sports college football I'm Reese Davis joined here in the booth by David poock and Jesse Palmer and guys let's get this thing started the kickoff team on the field as they'll send this one away on the move from inside is five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so the Old Miss Rebels offense takes the field to start this game off and these guys involve every everybody in the passing game and none more prominent than this big fella and the quarterback knows he's going to be under duress in this game so who do you look for the tight end and there aren't many better than this guy no and just big bodies that you can miss a little bit high and it really doesn't matter but over the middle of the field closer throw so nice to have a security blanket with a great tight end the rebels want to crank the tempo [Music] might as well stick with him and they'll bring him down but not before he picks up the first down this offense has to get this guy the ball in as many ways as possible he showed you all of his tools on that last they'll start this one from the 29 on first down [Applause] the back goes in motion wants to throw on first down off the play fake he makes a catch and they'll stop him just short of the first down just inches away from moving the stage and as a quarterback when you're facing man coverage you've got to find your best one-on-one matchup that receiver did a tremendous job quickness changing direction out of his break able to create separation there was no question the quarterback was going to Target that receiver on that play back to throw it's dark got his man in the middle tackled at the 45 after a 5yd [Music] pickup and the rebels are on the move now they'll try the right side nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry so first down didn't exactly go according to plan let's see what they can dial up on second down reys I got him right where I want him okay I'm going to throw the football now I can get back in shotgun let's forget the running game stuff we're going to play a little pitch and catch and see how good that secondary is from the gun the running back looking for room they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down and runs like that are like body blows in their boxing match four five sixy gains early turn into 20 30 40 yard gains later they really wear down defenses and they test their physicality in the dead center of the field as they try to convert this third and short from the gun wants to pass throws to the wide out fires a b and now it's picked off he'll try to take it back after making the interception he sets up his offense by running it back to the 39 all right good news the game just got started there's still a lot of football left to play the bad news is though you've already now turned it over and handed the defense an interception quarterback's going to have to be more dialed in with his decision making in this game line gets set first [Applause] down using the quick game he's one out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down and AIG key on that throw to the slot receiver guys is putting the ball out in front the location of the throw is what helped that guy get extra yards after the catch from the 22 on First and [Applause] 10 they'll try the Run able to move it ahead a couple yards he gets it down to the 20 he down at the bring up second down picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down to the air it's Batio unloads to the wide out and he's on his way he'll go all the way touchdown Middle Tennessee these two guys they just shared a glance and they knew exactly exactly what to do David and how many times do we hear that that quarterback talk about it after the game and go hey I just looked at him he knew what I saw I knew what he saw we're on the same page we've done this before that chemistry equals big plays on to attempt the try is out for the extra point and he's got the extra point and it's 7even nothing to start this one quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they close the deal with a 20yd pass for Six lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive kick here he comes from mide his own five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stopped him at the 21 full Miss ready to send the offense onto the field hand off from the gun they stay aggressive and push their way out to the 33 and it's first down and here we go if you're an offense you got to get that ground game going so you can have some balance and then you give it to your quarterback Palmer and let him make some plays down the field later on yeah exactly you know coming into this game this offense knew they were going to have to some way somehow at least established a semblance of a running game for exactly what you just said you got to be able to use play action pass later in this game to get some explosive plays down the field and it's a play like that and that pressure just engulfed him a sack for this defense how about this DB turning on the Jets and getting the first sack of the game for this defense and that is how you come from the secondary with authority come with some speed some vitory all some hate just get to the quarterback get him on the ground nice job by the secondary getting to the quarterback after the big first down sack it's second down the give out of the gun defense fills those gaps he's got one to the 28 and these defensive tackles just eat people they swallow human beings when you get near them they're so big so strong those guys those running backs coming they just need a mid they put one mid on a running back and he usually falls to the ground just because of their sheer massive strength on Third and long he'll need to loosen up that arm and they get to the quarterback and knock him down back at the 16 pretty nice as a defense right when you can go nickle put five DBS on the field and not have to Blitz anyone trusting your front four to get the job done on third down and they do it right there getting the sack the rebels will call on their punt team getting our first look of the afternoon at the punter he only needs a sliver of daylight and the returner runs out of real estate as he goes down the middle Tennessee offense will go back to work and David how they would love to stick it in the end zone one more time after that last drive and once you get the defense on their heels and you back them off a little bit you get in a little bit of Rhythm it's really hard to stop Jesse and they're going to try to do it again right here and if you're this play caller you're loving what's happening right now because everything you dialed up on that last Drive ended up working out you're just looking at your play sheet everything you're picking is working let's see if they can pull it off here the offense showing motion from the tight end trying to get a read on the D the give to the tail back he's Dro behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three the defense blows up the iso plate by getting penetration right up the middle that forces the negative play third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a dooy if they can pull it off to the air it's battiato can't make the connection on third down thanks to that tough hard noos pass defense and now it's fourth down every defense in the country talks about getting offenses in predictable third and long situations where I can bring on more speedsters and I know the pass is coming so I can have more success so no dice on third down and they'll punt it away on Fourth able to keep keep them from getting a return and the ball goes out of bounds they're going to mark it right around the 20 y Miss offense ready to go back to [Applause] work off the play fake on first down to throw got him downfield delivers the contact big big gain on that one as he stepped out of bounds with a first down one of the first things I want to do when I come into a game go where do I have the advantage where are my guys better than yours and maybe they feel good about their matchup out wide some of those wide receivers making some of these big plays down the field this is a good sign for this offense they'll give it to the back not a whole lot of room there three yards maybe second and seven [Music] and the rebels will hustle to the line they think there's room to run to the right here they finally make the stop with the big run is plenty to move those sticks for the first down I'll tell you what a few more runs like that in defensively you start thinking more guys in the Box more big guys I better stop this guy cuz he's unbelievable just great job breaking off the big run and the OC is going to give him the ball some [Applause] more dropping back it's D shoots it to the left how about that play to get a hand in there and force the incompletion this defense is making life hard on a quarterback early in the game we're only in the first quarter they've already got a pick and that time they SWAT another one away man they are breaking on the ball after they couldn't connect it's second and [Music] 10 leaves it with the back and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop it 2 y already in Chip Shot field goal range at the 21 but this third and short they're still thinking touchdown they'll stick to the ground looking for the marker and they make the tackle but he has plenty for the first down well they needed two yards to get that first down that's exactly what they got great job of execution no secret about it just got to be physical get a hat on a hat low man wins all the cliches to get that third down in short the rebel getting set on First and 10 looking for a crease it's Parish drives into the defense and they get him down after a pick up of three to the 16 BR up [Music] second after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven from the gun they'll give it on the inside they'll wrestle him down just short of the first down I don't even think they're going to bring out the change to measure this [Music] one at the end of the quarter guys it's Middle Tennessee on top and we've come to the end of the first as we take a moment to to check out the stats so [Music] far now to see if these guys can get back in the game in the second quarter boy they'd love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal they'll try to pick it up on the ground they'll get him stopped just short of the end zone but they're in business here in the first down and you know big chunks like this don't happen unless you commit to the Run game you to get those big boys up front into the game understanding I want to knock people off the football create some holes like you do here for my running back make the game easy and the rebels are threatening on first and goal they'll try to get it in with the Run he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and how about that that's two really good plays in a row by this defense they gave up a lot of yards to get down here Bo their necks up it's most important when you get in this area second and goal now they get the big stop can the D deny them on second and goal trying to punch it in and he takes it to the house touchdown oh miss there have been miniseries novels movies long form plays that have been over in shorter period of time in that drive that was a marathon and that's just so frustrating when you're a defensive guy time and time again trying to get the stops and they just keep making the plays and they punch it in for a touchdown [Music] demoralizing now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic hit that one with some aggression for the point after they marched 79 yds on the drive and finish to deal with the short touchdown run from the two all tied up from just about set to kick it [Applause] away and he takes this from inside the five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 let's see what the blue Raider offense can get going to the air on first down catch in the middle it's Willis and that was some kind of collision between a couple of big bodies here and he stopped from getting the first down really good concept there to get things going and use the tight end early yeah I mean just such a great job on first down setting up an easier second down understanding I don't always have to push the ball down the field but see the tight end make the throw no it's not a big game but makes life really easy on me on second down drag down to the turf but not before getting the first down you got to have short area quickness that running back there doing what it takes to make sure he got that first down it'll be first and 10 from the 30 they're going to ride this running back finds his way for three out to the 33 bring up second [Music] down got three on first down and second and seven out of the shotgun they go to the ground tackled at the 43 after picking up 10 well at first you don't succeed try try again right it's been really hard for this offense in this game to run the football but they finally break off a big run there that could be the play they need to really generate momentum and get this run game done they've been very sharp on this drive so far now first and 10 from the 43 they'll switch it up here and look to throw finds a tight end that's just a very easy comfortable throw for the quarterback he knows he has his big Target tight end running across the field on the drag nice play that last completion sets him up on second [Applause] down here's the handoff one step W two-step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground they're strong and they're strong defensive tackles they're strong they're such big jokers in the Middle where they just lock out those offensive linemen and running backs listen they don't have much of a chance when you got that 300 plus PB guy grabbing you around the shoulder pad you tend to go to the ground pretty quickly he gets it oh so close to the first down marker but I think he's going to be a touch [Music] short they bring the punter onto the field now he'll go back to work and put it away for the second time and The Return Man will have no chance as the ball sails out of bounds oh miss ready to send the offense onto the field how about the way they attacked the last time they had the ball mixing run and pass and winding up in the end zone Jesse that's why recruiting is so important they've got weapons and every skill position on the field any of these guys is dangerous if they touch the football let's see what they do on this drive David and so Palmer I got to take away something I can't let them have everything and have success I got to be aggressive against the run or play for the pass I can't give him everything now the play fake and the quarterback is knocked down back at the 13 on that play action fake the action was the quarterback got clobbered after he faked the hand off yeah it definitely didn't work um the fake is supposed to be the most important part of that to try to get the guys to suck up just for a second but you could tell the offensive line they weren't able to hold their blocks defense got to them and got the sack you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 dropping back it's D he's got an open man can anyone catch him and they are pushing the ball down the field a big pick up on that one in the tackle is finally made yeah and listen QB's got to find ways to push the ball down the field and make sure defenses don't just sit in zones and stay shallow nice job by the QB push it down the field make some big plays baby the rebels moving quickly to the line he'll come out throwing on first down takes to grab on the left got some room enter to the goal line and he strides his way into the end zone touchdown Rebel and that's why this running back is so dangerous it's not just handing him off the football but he's a weapon in the passing game you see his his ability to catch it turn up field make people miss and find the endone [Music] Pat unit on the field on for the extra point and the pat gives him a 147 lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and they cover the final 20 9 y with that touchdown pass the kickoff team out there and ready to go kick he'll bring it back from inside his spot nice job executing all of the assignments that they put a stop to that return at the 22 the Middle Tennessee offense will go back to [Applause] work off play action on first down and this will be incomplete a big hit there for his second down and that's your goal separate man from ball try to get your shoulder in there on the catch point and really make give him something to think about physically jar that football and knock it out that's job on this offense has a second down play the run from the shotgun he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three man oh man am I upset in my offensive mind to give up penetration that fast and we blinked and missed it he barely got the ball and just got destroyed immediately what a great play this defense has kept them backed up now one more stop and they can get off the field on Third and long got it in the middle it's Kelly and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up wow what a great job by that quarterback finding his open receiver on third down you know guys one of the most telling stats at the end of the game is third down conversion percentage if you're a great third down team it's invaluable to your offensive success and that's why teams drill third down so much in practice he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and defense nowadays they don't look at stats of what is the yards per rush they look at how many negative plays they can bre CU why now you look at second down man it just became very predictable for this offense nice job creting the loss on first down after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 swings it out to the flat coralled and brought down by the defense running backs are not just running back you're going to be a wide receiver in today's footall great job sneaking out of Back Field getting the football letting them get some positive yards that last completion still leaving them with a third down to the ground to try to move the chains and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up man that was a good run but it was almost even better great job by the offense keep the running game going you get big chunks Like This Not only was that a big chunk it also looked like it could have gone for more offense lines up for a first and 10 from the 43 he wants to throw he's got it down the middle and he's almost to that first down marker there saying he's a little bit short they might want to bring out the sticks and measure but it looks as if he'll be just short of the first down trying to get a rhythm in the passing game now on second down looking to throw it's battiato he looks that one in nicely they get him on the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down Hey listen as a receiver you're running that hitch route against man coverage you can't loaf on it right I know it's just a little short throw but you've got to make the defender think you might be going deep so a nice job not just taking it easy on the play he put his foot in the ground he drove back to the ball and made it easy on a sport under pressure and down he goes at the 33 if you had a DB on the bingo card for the first sack of the game you win man and I've been here before Reese like I can hear the the trash talk right now like wait a minute I got to cover everybody back in and I'm going to get sacks like hey defensive blind you want to give me some sacks or I I guess I'll do it myself so now on second along you start with think just don't fall out of field goal range he's looking to throw getting some heat and this defense goes backto back sack Jack a timeout just calling assist off defense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half on Third and long you'll have to turn it loose deep grabbed in the middle it's Kelly quick timeout by the defense there trying to make sure everyone has the same call you got to love that on defense one of the most critical statistics out there is how do you play on third down how do you prevent the opponent from keeping drives live right there tackling the catch you gave up the completion whoop-de-doo you set up fourth and long you're going to get the the ball back go get some water and celebrate it is good tene so they're lining up to kick it off after that last Drive put a three spot on the board and now the defense will try to shut him down on the run from inside his own five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they sto him at the 21 you miss offense ready to go back to work wants to throw on first down snagged in the middle it's Waton first down these wide receivers work the middle of the field so much of this is Fe understanding where the holes are in the zone or understanding how to get leverage on a man and these wide receivers are dangerous nowadays because they do it so fast and see that so quick and make those plays over the middle picked up some yardage with that completion now second down back to throw it's D fires to the big fella they get him on the ground but it's a first down ever since they invented the forward pass the tight ends have been running the drag and getting the first down I think it's because the tight ends is so much versatility you know they can block and stay in the formation or they can release and come out but either way if the quarterback's patient most of the time that drag route's going to come [Music] in and the throw down the gut calls to the grab brings up second down couldn't make the connection on first down now here on second he's looking to throw a strike downfield the offense quickly calls timeout to stop the clock there's a great example of the receiver working back to his quarterback on the curl route against man coverage he drives back towards the football makes the catch and gets the first down comes out throwing on first down looking to take a shot he's got it at the 15 and he mots into the end zone touchdown all this how about that quarterback taking the shot down field and delivering to the wide open receiver I love this quarterback CU he's aggressive he wants to take shots he's looking for every opportunity to show off that Cannon and that arm Talent show it all of us right [Music] there he'll try to add another to their lead for the exra [Applause] point and with the extra point it's a 2110 game a very efficient 5way scoring Drive and the final 53 yds coming courtesy of that touchdown pass kickoff team has the ball teed up and they're about ready to [Applause] go looking for an alley from inside his own 10 really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime didn't get much done on that one he'll fight his way out and maybe maybe pick up a yard we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connors in our halftime update gentlemen tough to beat the pageantry and tradition there today in Oxford talk about a first half from that dude out of the back field he's been a total Game Changer and how many top plays moments have we seen on Miss tackles alone video game moves from one of the shiftiest players in all of college football and with that let's head back to the Grove at our Phillis at B Headway [Music] Stadium all lined up and ready to go for a great second half ahead he start the return inside his five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 let's see what the blue Raider offense can get going maybe adjustments or attitude or attitude adjustments they've got to find a way to run the ball at least some here in the second half I do think you said something that's important I I think running the football is an attitude like it starts with the offensive lineman and being physical having a nasty attitude running back same thing I think they need more of that in the second half you know and I think even then if you're this defense you have an opportunity to make a statement here yeah I know you guys went in at halftime and you riled yourselves up you told yourself that you think you can run the ball on us on this very first drive we're going to prove to you just like in the first 30 minutes you cannot leaves it with the back find some space enough to get five to the 22 I think one of the hardest things to do is stick to the run when it's not working but it's Those runs right there that the reason why you have to do it right you can't get two1 dimensional keep slipping Those runs in there keep getting a little bit of positive guards next thing you know you up might breaking those you got them a little bit TI to the air it's battiato gets it out fast still on his feet at the 45 and the big gain and they've got it on the 46 what a weapon this guy is right at the tight end position not only can he get open he can run away from people after the catch he's a big dude so he's hard to break down anyway but the spe is what makes him different you get a play like that and you feel like you can go in and finish the deal it'll be first and 10 from just inside the [Applause] 50 pulls it and fires to the left theer [Music] Up Tempo for the offense on second down he'll let it fly quickly complete just making a play getting it to the 23 yd line it'll be first down I don't know defensive if you want to keep giving this guy that much cushion because when he gets the ball in space he's able to shake all these Defenders and turns a 5yd completion into a first down snap's going to come from the 23 on First and [Applause] 10 looks as if they didn't get it off in time it'll be a delay of game delay of game [Applause] offense the offense couldn't get the snap off in time and it'll cost them first down for this offense used the play fake now to throw got his man he's there to make the stop but not before he sets up this offense first and goal from the seven if they're going to sit back in zone I'm going to make sure I know exactly what they're doing find those holes find those Crossing patterns and take advantage of that zone coverage first in goal and this feels like their chance to make a game of it they'll try to get it in with the Run he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling we'll see if the offense can punch it in on second and goal tries again to get it in and he takes it in for the score touchdown blue Raiders oh the offense shows some life here and cuts into the lead with that score and man they needed it they had to have something to go right listen still down but this is a great start to get back in this ball now they'll try the two-point conversion and try to crawl within three they'll try to run it in he's not going to miss take it in and the decision to go for two does not work [Music] out Middle Tennessee 16 about to kick it off after punching it in for the [Applause] touchdown on the move from inside is five and the coverage team able to wrestleing down Miss ready to send the offense onto the field man what a dve five last time for the touchdown that passing attack was Lethal David and you know you hear all the stupid commentators like me and Jesse talking about create balance you run and pass no when you throw that good spin the ball around so the defense has to find a way to affect the quarterback on this drive because last drive he had way too much time to throw and the rebels want to move quickly back to the ground with the running back open space at the 25 they wrestle him to the ground but he's got ready for a first down you ain't getting by all these guys right up the middle unless you're offensive line and you're tight end and everybody is putting in the work up front committing to blocking the running back does a great job finding the hole exploding through how about that nice big huge game if I'm the OC let's call that one again the give to the running back from the shotgun fouls through the defense fou that space and picked up six out to the 33 it's really frustrating when you get a guy in a spot he's in the hole he's there to do his job and you can't get the guy on the ground that's your job get him on the ground you know especially a guy that's not a huge back you got to make that tackle you can't make it easy on the offense when now they got a a manageable situation [Applause] they'll give it on the counter works his way to the 38 after gaining five you don't always have to run the sexy place right it doesn't have to always be Up Tempo and fast and spread and doing all this stuff sometimes you just lower your shoulder sometimes you just run powerfully you get the first down and that's all that matters the rebels are on the move from the gun running back on the move a confident TP ficient run gets it up to the 44 up second six- yd pickup on first down leaves him with second and four grabbed behind the line it's Harris he'll be tackled at the 49 after a pick up of [Music] five and the rebels will line it up on First and [Applause] 10 from the gun they'll try to impose their will and how about the efficiency see on that one it'll bring up second and four second down coming they get to the line quickly they'll run it from the gun and they try the middle of this defense and that is not happening play maybe that stop is a good sign for this defense maybe the defense is starting to figure out obviously offense has been running the football with so much success something has to change that was a good start the rebels racing to the line in the hurry up from the shotgun the hand off to the back they've got it inside the 40 at the 39 as they they pick up the first down wow the running back there showing you his skill set as he's able to rip off that one for a first down now they've moved it just inside the 40 first and 10 from the [Applause] [Applause] 39 back to throw it's dark got his man in stride and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throwing and catch and he's down at the five man this offense is so dangerous Rees they've got dudes all over the field that can make plays there's a big gainer in the pass game you got a chunk of yards like that now the defense is really on its heels and the rebels line it up with a first and goal he'll do it himself and he rolls into the house touchdown Rebel the offense flexes its muscle a bit and widens the Gap take a little exit you know you did your job you got points now you put your defense in a position where hey go out and get another stop we're in great shape so the offense definitely taking care of their business [Music] lining up for the p is on for the extra point and after the extra point they're on top by [Music] 12 almost ready to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and he'll return it and try to get behind his blockers really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 the Middle Tennessee offense will go back to work last time they had it they took it down the field for a touchdown they can build some confidence that they could go backto back scoring running toward the tape the 30 20 touchdown MTSU and once he found some daylight it was time to make a house call number 19 sometimes we ask coaches about halftime adjustments and they go blah BL blah blah blah blah and then sometimes they make some good ones sometimes that blah blah blah blah blah actually works but it's working now but it might be too little too late but at least you got the party started ready to try the point after extra point and it's up and good as they draw Just a Touch closer that one's going to get a little star mark besided on the play sheet One play explosive touchdown just like that the kickoff team takes the field to boot this one away here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 F Miss offense ready to go back to work really good balance on that last Drive they mixed it up all over the place Jesse yeah how nice too to have the defense on their heals because at this point they don't know what's coming at them they had problems stopping everything that last drive so I think this defense would come back with a little more aggressiveness I mean they let them have what they wanted now they got to dictate to this offense a little bit more the rebels want to pick up the tempo [Music] quarterback on the keeper they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one nice job playing assignment football by that defensive head knowing what my job is not letting that quarterback get out get loose making a good play and most importantly being there in the right spot and getting him on the ground a third and long coming up here looking down down field it's dark can't make the grab on third down and that is a rare drop for this guy well in the first half this offense was up and down the field it seemed like everything they were dialing up was working and here we are in the third quarter and there's a very rare incompletion on their own end of the field maybe that's the play the defense needs now to spark some momentum and the rebels will punt this one away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away makes a move and the returner goes down let's see what the blue Raider offense can get going they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him great move there what a Nifty run there to pick up the first down when the running back gets going and gets ahead of steam like that so hard to get to the ground that's why you Blitz that's why you bring pressure that's why you bring more guys in the box so you can get him before he gets going but once he got going you could tell it was hard to get a hand on him hard to get him to the ground we've come to the end of the period and Old Miss is on top they've built a cushion they've got a nice League now the task is finish the deal as you take a look at the third quarter steps one more period to go to see who can make the winning plays and come home with the victory now they'll try to cash in this drive first and 10 from the 50 they'll give it to him again and a really short game before he gets a whole bunch of company from the defense didn't get much on first down it's second and nine dropping back it's battiato complete to the right that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the [Applause] stop moving closer to the Red Zone it's at the 27 on first down [Applause] looking to move it through the air grabbed behind the line it's Willis and they do a really good job not as easy as it looks to get those blocks and he picks up the first down really good job working through his progression you get it to him quickly and the big tight end do a chance to run a little and a really good job by the QB throwing an accurate throw I I got to hit those guys on the Move On The Run so they can do this they can catch the football get up field and chew up some extra [Applause] yards they're in the red zone and they'll pass it pocket starts to collapse and the defense makes a play they get their quarterback down at the 26 and that is a huge play for the defense offense has it in your Red Zone you're trying to knock them out of field goal range the only way you do that is by creating negative plays and they get the sack negative play on first down that's what a defense always [Applause] wants on second down he's looking down field grabbed in the back field it's Willis they make the stop but not before he takes a chunk out of what they need to move the sticks this quarterback obviously did a lot of fil up coming in this one he has been picking this defense apart with that last completion guys he's now got over 300 yd passing now facing a third and [Applause] long they'll run it from the gun really good run there on third down he got five but they're still left for the fourth and three [Music] they'll leave the offense out there to try to get it pass to marker and pick up the First on fourth down they'll pass for it moving away from pressure touchdown Middle Tennessee and they grab the advantage taking the lead here in the fourth man I love this offense being able to run the football late in the game when it matters and punch it in for the touchdown and more importantly Take the [Applause] Lead they're going to go for two here and try to extend that lead to a field [Applause] goal trying to run it in he gets into the end zone for the two-point conversion and the cushion is now three they marched 72 yds and the Capper on that drive the 10yd touchdown run the kickoff unit about to go to work set a [Applause] kickoff the returner will field it and try to set up his offense in great field position and they'll get him on the ground as the offense comes out to start the next Drive first snap of this drive will come from inside the 15 at their own 14 yd line and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no game land it's an offense that takes pride in being physical they try to get it going on the ground but no gain on that one does know where to run not a lot of wiggle room for the ball carrier this defense came in knowing that they had to match their physic howy let's see if they can keep it up looking to throw it's dark all kinds of room to throw that one in there and he surges up to the 36 yd line and they'll move the chain and I love the quarterbacks hit him in St hit him where he can catch the football and continue to run and do more damage after the catch like he did right there the rebels are in the hurry up to the ground with the back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and sometimes for the defense it just takes one play right to create some momentum obviously this guy's been eating him up he's got over a 100 yards rushing on the David David they get something positive here in the Run game defensively but you kind of know that coming in he's going to get his such a great back and he's had a great day need to put more plays together like that right there off play action looking down the middle and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit up third if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum it's a draw works his way through the traffic and he picks up eight yds on the play and this one's much more manageable on Fourth and three and the rebels will send out the punt unit he's going to try to flip the field with this [Applause] one not going to risk a return here he'll make the a catch the Middle Tennessee offense will go back to work they come out on this drive and let it rip and his throw is incomplete yeah a nice job by the defense understanding who their go to guy is that's the guy they want to feature that's the guy they want to feed with good reason he's a great player but a great job by the defense taking away that primary read making sure they don't make a bory second and 10 here he leaves it with his back that hole closed quickly a pick up of one to the 15 and this is a pressing time for this defense they've got to understand they're backed up a little bit they're going to run the football they don't want to make a mistake so I think this is the time I'm a little bit more aggressive I got to give this football back to my offense because I'm trailing so I look for this defense to get a little bit aggressive wants to throw it's battiato trying to get to it and the quarterback goes down all the way back at his four yd line I think if you're the head coach here it's a bit of a mixed reaction to your passing attack so far in this game you put up a bunch of yards throwing the football you've lit up the scoreboard but you've also given up four sacks pass protection has been a problem so far in this game the punt team makes its way onto the field doesn't say much for your drive when you're looking forward to the punt slips through the line that Nifty return sets up the offense and engages some of the yardage on the pun Old Miss ready to send the offense onto the field fires to the wide out got his man downfield and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play and how about the defense how big was that stop forcing the punt getting it back to the offense and all of a sudden you feel the momentum now on their side the rebels in the hurry up out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a creas he rumbles all the way down to the 2yd line he gave a little bit of everything on that one it's hard to stop great it really is that's why you run the football consistently you got a big offensive line a big physical unit you run the football like this man it will take a toll later but you got to tackle this guy over and over again who has this ability to make people miss and make big plays snap it to the back touchdown all Miss they move on top here in the Bo and this offense really showing their buy County running the football when it matters in the fourth quarter in crunch time to take the lead in this football [Music] game ling up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth mdle Tennessee about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and he takes this from inside the five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 let's see what the blue Raider offense can get going to throw it's vattiato pressure coming got away from trouble and got rid of it it's complete to the 43 yd line and a first down for this offense and I love when you understand when I'm supposed to put some RPMs on that football you could tell he's thrown over the middle of the field he knows he's got Defenders there I got to throw this thing in there quick fast in a hurry nice job by the quarterback big chump play to start this drive now they'll really try to take it to this [Applause] defense the give to the back sweet cut there and he broke one tackle on the way to a solid pick up there tell you what when those little guys physical plays like that kind of backs everybody up in the Huddle this it's usually Guy Breaking ankles but he's like breaking tackles now he's giving you some serious energy second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute [Music] warning he's looking to throw the quick out re really nice pick up on that one as they get it to the 36 it'll be first down using him out of the slot he has just been Unstoppable and I love putting Dynamic athletes in the slot that I can move around that I can put in motion that I can I can make him go in or out I can put him off the ball so you can't get hands on him and they've really featured this guy today caught over the middle it's Kelly quick timeout call by the offense after the play trying to preserve every minute possible time out M just outside the Red Zone first and 10 from the [Applause] 21 Ed the play fake now to throw wide open downfield TouchDown Middle Tennessee and they've moved out front here in the fourth number 83 yeah and a nice job in the fourth quarter making plays and a nice job being on the same page QB receiver you could tell he broke with the football he caught it in stride gets into the end zone nice pitch and catch right there nice Chemistry by the qban wide [Music] receiver if he makes this one the lead will be three and at least a field goal won't beat you and it's good and he pushes the lead to three a very efficient five playay scoring drive and they finish things off with a 21 yd touchdown pass they're just about ready to kick it away number seven set to kick it off he'll bring it back from inside his SP he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 offense ready to go back to work he'll start this drive firing got the Quick Pass and he runs a quick out route this is a timing route quarterback has to trust him throw the football you can tell theyve thrown this some time or two nice job nice success now they've got to hustle to the line and get set [Applause] looking to throw it's D dances away from the heat Nifty little Scamper on this one enough for the first down and he slides in saf they immediately call timeout trying to preserve every second they can to try to rally here Le going up top on first down working on the right the offense it's gets a quick timeout at this point every second is pressure yeah and he's been throwing it all over the yard and he's now over 3 yards on the day so been a successful day now 300 yards I don't know Palmer 300 nowadays that's like what back in the day for you touchdown Rebel and inside a manag to go they've got the lead man this game has been incredible to watch and the offense comes through late in the game takes the lead what a clutch drive by the offense now I'm looking at you defense you got the lead late in the game I need you to go put this thing on ice and win it for [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead extra [Applause] point and the extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth they'll need to be very sound here limit this return and put this game in the hands of their defense to Al it away and he's coming out of the end zone he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 the Middle Tennessee offense will go back to work and they're going to have to fight this defense and they're also up against it with time Jesse yeah no doubt Rees and this quarterback now he's going to have to show off his Poise David they practice these late game situations but how's this guy going to respond and I got a little bit of time to work with here so I watch the defense and if they're going to drop back and play real conservative like they tend to do late in the game let's get a few shots over the middle first before we have to take that deep shot he got a hand in there knocked it away incomplete well the defense finally showing some life there it's been tough SL too cuz this offense has been lighting them up through the air but a nice individual effort that time forcing the incompletion theyve got to move quickly here still a chance but they've got to force the ball down the field to the air it's back atti AO and he can't get it off taken down what a huge play this late in the game the offense takes a timeout with 30 seconds left on Third and long no secret what he needs here nice defensive way to get a hand in there and knock it away while they're trailing in this game late the defense knows it so they're playing for passs two plays ago they get the sack this time they for an incompletion not a lot the offense can do here to catch him off guard they're just going to have to make a huge play here on fourth down time is their enemy it's running out on them down four they'll go for it on fourth down throws to the wide out got it past the marker not much of a fourth down gamble when it's that much of a sure thing an easy conversion for this offense listen it's go time we're trailing it's the fourth quarter we got to get a little bit more aggressive I like the call I like going for and especially because we made the completion and got the first down the offense setting up shop at the 46 first and 10 he'll spike the ball to try to save every precious second he can it's second [Applause] down and here comes play
