Alexa's first look at the New SM10 wedges [Music] hey Alexa thanks for being here yes wanted to introduce you to sm10 it's really the most complete package of wedge technology looks that we've ever done and we're going to hit some shots and have some fun amazing ready to go yeah all right we're going to start with First strikes with the pitching wedge your pitching wedge good [Music] shot Alexa how important is feel what does feel mean to you um I'm quite a feel oriented player I don't use a lot of trackman a lot of video and stuff so feeling out the numbers and how the ball feels coming off the face is one of the most important things to me so on your ball fight do you prefer to see right to left left to right straight uh yeah definitely a bit of a draw okay looking down at the club is big for me face angle on every single Club in my bags and when I look down at Aoki I'm Confidence in shot making very confident being able to hit the shots that I want to produce whether it's a low one or if I want to step up and put a little gas on it hit that 130 shot excited to see with these new ones with the CG more across the face being able to be more aggressive with that 130 number and not seeing like a ton of turn with it that just is only going to make it easier which is great it's about 56 yards here doesn't seem like you needed to know [Music] that it's a great shot personally I really like bunkers cuz you Bunker testing can use the bounce a lot and control your Spin and I think versus hitting out of grass here it's very hit or miss with the LIE when you're short sided like this so the bunker can kind of help you out sometimes what a sound versatility is really important you get so many different breakes in golf you can't really count on having the same lie in a bunker and grass and anything on all the time so knowing what your club's going to do knowing what you can do with your Club is just really important so that you can adapt on those shots where you need the versatility how important is spin spin Why Spin is Important is really important especially changing surfaces every week that's one of the things that I love most about my vogi is that you can really predict what the ball is going to do when it hits the green like even hitting this shot here before I'm hitting it I'm kind of planning out what I'm going to do with this Spin and that really affects how you're going to play a shot and how aggressive you can be every time you're playing it's one of the better feelings in golf is when you can hit a really crisp wed shot see it hit the greens see it hit the spin that you planned I was expecting a really good wedge I always am and it's definitely Final thoughts on the SM10 wedges that I love the look of them which is no surprise I always love the look of Aoki but they feel super good so far and I already see myself putting this in my bag today and walking away with it and being able to improve
