PART 1- The Pigeon Tarot's Guide to Lenormand Playing Cards Associations Through the Eyes of Tarot

hello and welcome to the pigeon tarot's exploration of the lman with help from tarot we are going to dive into the playing card associations on the 36 lenorman cards and see how this might relate to the tarot cards that we're already familiar with this helps to bring some additional meanings to our lman readings um the series is meant for those who may just be starting to dive into lenorman readings but already have some significant experience when it comes to tarot cards this series is based on my own associations with the tarot card so feel free to add or change how you connect with tarot and then the Spade suits to the swords of tarot there have been a couple of different sources I've seen where it's listed differently but I think that's the the usual Association all right we're going to be starting with our first card the writer which is associated with the nine of hearts and that is going to be our nine of Cups the center figure in the nine of Cups card is here to bring a message or an offering to his community much like the writer brings a message with him this message could be about prosperity and fulfillment coming your way but we have to grab it before it is gone we can also see this card as someone who is maybe on their high horse a bit of arrogance and in thinking that they are better than everyone else gloating about all the things they have so there is a negative aspect to this card the Clover is our next one which is the six of diamonds and that is associated with the Six of Pentacles this may be some good fortune being brought to you from an outside Source you can also spread this luck and good Fortune to those around you well-being comes from the kindness and generosity within us and which we receive from others so accept with gratitude what you're given and spread that joy to those around you next we have the ship which is the 10 of Spades and that is associated with the 10 of Swords this card shows a need for New Beginnings it is time to face the fears we may have pick ourselves up and keep on moving forward this is a farewell to the Past and a welcoming to a new adventure opportunities will await once we're ready to depart our next one is the house which is the king of hearts and that is associated with the king of Cups this King provides both compassion and structure this King values emotions and traditions he's the center of the home in domestic matters offering protection and stability to his family this may also show us that home is not always a physical place it can be within us or can be with the uh with the people that are close to us then we have the tree which is the seven of hearts and that is associated with the seven of Cups our reality is based on the strength that we have the underlying Foundation the roots in our lives how we view the world how we attribute our emotions are based on the place that we come from we have many paths many choices many branches that our lives can follow but it's starts with providing ourselves with our basic needs taking care of our physical selves before we can truly understand the path that we are taking realistic choices commitment towards our goals growth of ourselves we're not just the end of this tree we are a part of the ancestry of our family a part of the roots a part of the branches so take the time to make good choices don't Focus too long on false dreams and Illusions next we have the clouds which is the King of Clubs associated with our King Of Wands this king is full of passion and Adventure which sometimes gets in the way of the way that he leads his people but he may not think clearly before he acts he may not see how his actions will be affecting the ones around him that he is meant to predict he himself may be seen with uncertainty he may have some clouded Vision if there is no reason behind the actions that he takes when things are unclear there needs to be a leader who will take decisive action to help those that he is leading but this King may be too focused on his own wants to be that leader blinded by his own passion next we have the serpent the King of Clubs that is associated with our Queen of Wands where Queens tend to be nurturing to others this is one Queen who may be more focused on nurturing herself so her motivations may be geared more towards her own needs rather than those of others her intentions may be misconstrued or she may move in a way that follows her own desires so sometimes she needs to be a bit deceptive in order to you know be focusing on her wants and needs the queen is full of wisdom and has a strong understanding of the way the world works and sometimes she takes the necessary action so that she continue ruling in her way and following her desires then we have the coffin which is our nine of diamonds associated with the nine of Pentacles this is a card of self-reflection and consolid valtion of the life that we have lived maybe putting to rest the Ambitions that we had we're kind of auditing our life the one that we have what we have gained and now we must start making hard choices do we continue to build Upon Our wealth and make no change to what we are doing or do we decide that there is more to life than what we have and and then we do not fear the end of what we have built because we want to go after something new we have accomplished what we have meant to but now it is time to change our Focus we've been through many hardships in life that have let led to this point but we're satisfied are we satisfied with our material gains or are we left feeling empty inside as we have set aside our emotional connections to try to find this success there's a certain sadness to this card not every every need fulfilled but maybe it's time to start something new now that we've learned what it is that we're missing in life we can start our next uh next part of our life searching for the missing connection and then finally we have the bouquet which is our Queen of Spades associated with the Queen of Swords this queen understands more than any others the need to appreciate the small things in life she has moved from happiness to pain from Pain to happiness so she appreciates the small gifts and pleasantries that life has to offer she does not need anything extravagant to be happy where she is she's also one to give positive and uplifting energy one that is here to protect those that she loves a appreciate that what you are given see the beauty in life she knows that every day we have is a gift and that can concludes the first part to our lman series as
