greetings and welcome to another installment of outdoor the episode where I go outdoors and Bs no that's I don't I'm sorry uh welcome to another episode of tripy food Val here and I at Del Taco and the reason I'm at Del taco is because they now have tryo tacos now if you don't know what tros tacos are apparently Danny tro yes the actor Danny tro has a taco joint called Trey host tacos they're a little bit on the pricey side so much on the pricey side that I haven't even actually eaten there but they have them at Del Taco now which is kind of an odd thing so I don't know if he's closing his Taco joints and he's just you know they're just selling them at Del Taco apparently it's only the alpastor ones and it says roasted pork alpastor but I don't know that there's another kind of alpastor maybe there's a beef Al paser I'm not actually actually sure so if you get two tacos it's about $5 these are street tacos so they're the small ones so I don't know it's like $22.50 for a small taco is that worth it I don't know we'll find out a little bit hesitant because this is Del Taco and I've usually had bad experiences at Del Taco but we'll see we'll see so and we've got two so if it's bad I've got to eat both cuz I don't like to waste there al pastor you know alpastor I went to school with him all right that looks legit look at that that looks that looks legit see we got what do we got in here we have some cilantro and onions the pork looks a little bit crunchy there's some sauce and pineapple so yeah that kind of looks legit so let's give this a shot now I do have see which one did I get I asked for some hot sauce to see which what they gave me they gave me delt Inferno I don't know if that's the hottest one or not but we'll see if we even need it all right here we go Trey house tacos at Dell Taco no I'm not sitting inside because they have very copyrighted music in there that's a that's a nice sauce it's got some spice to it but it's not like it's not crazy spicy and it's also not ketchup spicy so it's got a nice burn to it like I don't think I'm going to need the dull Taco hot sauce nice uh crispiness like the onions have some texture to it the Alpa store has some crunchiness to it now typically when you see them making alast store is usually on this big like spindle and they usually put pineapple on the top of it so that pineapple juice kind of runs down over the pork in this case I don't always cut up little pieces of pineapple and put it in it but in this case there's pineapple in it so I have to wonder if it was cooked with the pineapple in it or they just added the pineapple afterwards I'm not 100% sure it's not a crispy taco it's not a soft taco at the same time but the the tortilla is soft because it's kind of drenched in sauce and it's kind of like a an oily or greasy sauce so you can see it kind of permeates that the tortilla I'm getting this all over the place I should have got a utensil a sauce is pretty good you can see it's inard there is no delicate polite way to eat this so excuse me had to do it doggy [Music] style I would have made Doodle proud but you know when you don't have a utensil you got to do with what you got to do that is that it's pretty good is it $2.50 wor good well I suppose so if you got a hankerin for a taco and if you got a hankerin for some al pastor I suppose it is good I'm thinking like taco is that small something you can get for like a dollar but you know inflation and all that so uh I think we're going to go for that other one it leaves it has a nice taste that leaves in your mouth the tortillas are like like fresh corn tortillas it definitely has that tortilla flavor so it's not like uh you know and not like some KN some cheap knockoff or anything I would say it's pretty good I'm going to give it a thumbs up maybe not an enthusiastic thumbs up but a thumbs up nonetheless that's pretty good it's kind of messy again that sauce permeates the tortilla and the tortilla falls apart but my advice to you is if you're going to come and get one either eat it inside where the loud copyrighted music is or bring yourself a little utensil maybe they have Forks in there I don't know I think so because they have the alpad store they have like like uh four different items that have Al Pas store there's a burrito a burrito Grande I don't know what they're calling it a burrito there is a quesadilla and there is a loaded fries that have this trose alpastor pork on it and those are not two for $5 or whatever the deal is I think the burrito is like n bucks or something I'm going to get a thumbs up now maybe not an enthusiastic thumbs up I've had much better alastor tacos before but this hits the spot and it's it's probably the best thing I've eaten at Del Taco so I'm not sure how how far how widespread Del taco is right now might just be on the west coast but if you're near Del Taco get out and try it what you got to lose but when you do just remember it's crazy out there so please be
