the 2024 2025 Farmers Almanac will hit shelves soon but their annual winter weather reveal has already begun the farmer Almanac is surprisingly accurate but but it's not entirely accurate for Generations the Farmers Almanac was the way to see what the seasons had in store but locals these days see it as a folky bygone tradition that's just for fun I think it's guess work I tress the local meteorologist they do a nice job for most locations in the US the Farmers Almanac foresees this winter will come early and be wet yet cold thanks to the cooling lenia weather pattern coming from the oceans of Central and Eastern Pacific but the twin TI is in the northern part of the appalation region which has a slightly warmer winter weather forecast than normal the Farmers Almanac predicts the coldest part of this winter is likely to be from mid January into early February then again in late February yeah you's got to some weather doesn't there as for snow the almanac calls for average snowfall for our Northern Appalachian region late December late February and early March are expected to be the snowiest periods my advice to people is if you're at all concerned about the weather stick your head out the door and if there's no weather out there get back in quick the Farmers Almanac claims their predictions are about 80% accurate but a University of Illinois study found the almanac is only about 50 2% accurate but even folks that don't have confidence in the seasonal forecast still recognize the farmers alac as an important part of our country's history and culture to be remembered it's good Americana reading it's a chip off Ben Franklin and the humor is there and all but yeah it's it's guess work Sonia Ellison big Fox News the twin tear
