can you describe the process to get here today um got here yesterday around like 12:00 in the morning but uh worked out waited a little while then I signed and today we had practice so what was it like just getting right into the mixer practice it's a it's a different feeling because I something I've never done before um and going from one place to the next in a matter of less than 24 hours is super super duper big change for me um and I mean I'm I'm cool it's a nice place so cool you were with uh Mark our our assistant wide receivers coach seems like you and him you know have been dialoguing throughout practice what has that been like to come in here and start the process of getting up to dat on what this offense is and and prepare for a preseason game um um it's it's one heck of a process I'll say that um just trying to get all the terms and erase everything that I know from previous uh playbooks and get on top of everything I need to know for this week's game what kind of study are you like are you going to be a note cards guy are you do you draw it out a lot like what is going to help everything works so um note cards film talking it out walking it out um bunch of different methods but got to use them all in order for them to work so what have the coaches said about your expectations this week um I'll leave that for them speak okay um just getting into the fold of things we have a quarterback who came here last week and basically did the same thing and bonucci got ready for a game and ended up playing in quite a bit of it because Mitch trabis came out of the game and was hurt um how are you leaning on somebody like him who who didn't come from a team you know five minutes ago like you did um but who had to get up to date on on an offense pretty quickly um me and Ben are actually really good friends we've known each other since high school so um it's actually interesting that we're teammates so uh I trust that if if Ben knows his his stuff he's we're both going to be on the same Accord um and whether that's him helping me or me asking him a million questions just to get on top of my my game um it'll happen so is that nice to have someone who already like knew that well coming into a yes new place is it's wonderful it's it's a comfort thing and sometimes you never know what you're going to expect but uh worked out with Josh before um highly doubt he remembers it because I look completely different from then um but Ben we've been working out together since we were in oh freshman of college I can't even say High School freshman year of college so uh it's going to be nice it's going to be interesting well welcome yeah yeah thank you hope you get a little chance to like catch your breath and everything yeah hopefully soon soon I will
