no hesitation on these first couple of points not one of these players who was really highly touted as he was coming up through the ranks a rocket on his favorite forehand side he's got a second serve to look at as Sono now he's missed it and it's an early break for [Applause] Sono all over it as it was short uh to how to try and win some [Music] [Applause] matches low to the feet it's another break what's going on here what has happened here [Applause] chire is asking could be big trouble here for melson as he hit someone in the crowd chire is coming [Applause] over well they continue seemingly violation SP warning mron she was flicking the ball toward the back of the Court as he puts that away [Music] an eventful first set I think that is safe to say in this Final in Winston Salem but from his perspective lenzo Sono the way he played he will certainly love it didn't lose a single game a continuation of what he's done this week six Mon and he's doing it so well I don't think Michelson has come out you know that quick and he's just been caught completely you like a deer in headlights oh he's made it just a smidgen of the [Applause] line TDE it's the first game excellent approach um so it can be a little bit of a just to neutralize and wait for that chance to get the ball that he really wants he loves those for hands Davis Cup captain was the last one pandre barring a huge turn around here looks like he's going to grab the title what a c again he's making him play that one extra shot he did there instinctive [Applause] [Music] return maybe had no other choice but to play that Sono [Applause] he can't miss today Sublime from Sono two championship points first one stay up chle put in behind [Applause] him that was a huge first point after what happened and he wins it [Music] three more Championship points on the way been serving him so well this [Applause] week back in the winner circle is Lorenzo Sono for the first time since early in the 2022 season and he didn't drop a set the entire way and it's another tit who wins a title on the tour of this campaign Sono taking the final in Winston Salem and yes that dance has return why not six love 63 don't [Applause] forget fantastic performance the tennis is just top top yeah it was it was a fantastic week you guys you know showed up in droves for me the whole week and um you know I wish I could have got myself a better birthday present Lorenzo kind of ruined it played really well today but um yeah a really great week looking forward to coming back here in the future and um I really appreciate all you guys coming out yeah um you know I already kind of said it Lorenzo too good today you played really really well you're two and0 against me now too good I'll figure you out one day hopefully um your team congrats guys um great week um to my [Applause] team uh Martin known you since I was 10 [Music] [Applause] um came look at you guys um Martin I've noticed I was 10 thanks for coming out this whole week uh sha been my best friend for the last four or five years helped me through a lot [Applause] um I'm usually not like this I'm sorry guys um rocket been training for a while this whole year um gotten a lot stronger I'm serving some you know High 12s uh below 130 so um you know hopefully we can get those numbers up but yeah you've been a big help in my game this year so uh thank you guys uh to all the people that Mak this tournament happen um Jeff thank you uh for you know you took me here on a private jet and you're s me in New York on a private jet so I mean uh I I can't I can't really complain um it's been it's been a great week thanks for all the organization thank to all you guys that make this tournament happen all the volunteers you guys are the best I mean coming out here doing it unpaid I mean really incredible um all the ball kids you guys are great the whole week and um yeah thank just thank you to everyone for this week it's been it's been [Applause] great you might need me to hold the mic huh you need two hands for that yeah I have no words right now uh it's a crazy crazy moment for me uh for my team and I really proud of myself and this a nice really nice moment for me uh I want to say congrats to Alex for uh for this week for this tournament and uh to fin in the last two month good luck in New York and congrat to your our team as well good job guys and yeah right now I want to say thanks to my team it's a funny team I enjoy every moment on court outside of the court with with them and uh yeah I'm surprised right now uh I reached the final I won this final and I really happy and uh thank you to to you guys uh thank you to my girlfriend uh support me uh every time thank you for all the people Italian and American [Applause] guys H thank you work for the tournament tournament director uh B boys uh um supervisor and uh I don't remember the name but I'm really confused right now but I just want to enjoy and uh start the party right now
