It’s HOT IN MISSISSIPPI… What’s New? #weather

you don't need me to tell you it is very hot outside right now I mean take a look at that Columbus usually reads hot but it's reading at 100° normal for this time of year is about 91 so I am outside I'm going to crack this egg no just Kidd we're not cracking this egg on the sidewalk I need my I need my protein okay I'm doing that instead what I'm going to do is uh bring you a little bit of good news temperatures as we head into the weekend are expected to fall and take a look at that the 80s are expected mid next week and this is because I'm expecting a breakdown in the ridge you see more ridging off to the west and we see more cing off above us and basically what that does is allow more storms to form and that will help lower temperatures to a more comfortable rain through the weekend and yes on game day for us Bulldogs I'm expecting some rain we're already noticing some on Wednesday and those chances I think gradually increase into the weekend now I'm only putting about a 30 to 40% chance but we're going to have to watch for some afternoon daytime driven thunderstorms
