team to the next level getting multiple top 10 is today an opportunity to do that once again I'm not quite sure if it ever dries up today might be but uh maybe tomorrow could be depends but uh no the Rick racing guys brought an awesome 51 Turnal uh Ford Mustang um it was really fast in practice I don't feel like I ever had a good car here in Michigan but um yeah I felt confident about it in practice and um yeah pretty excited to go go green when we do what does it meant to you to kind of take this team to that next level sort of a lot of people putting it on your back saying you're the one who's made this happen it's got to be sort of you know something that really pumps you up yeah it's obviously been um uh you know a process this year but um there's a lot more to the story than just me right we have awesome employees um Chris lawon his first year in the in the cup series he's been doing a great job as well so um yeah Rick wear and everyone Tommy Baldwin Robie Benton everyone's been put on a lot of effort um appreciate our alliance with RFK um you know we we build the cars in house our cars right we Mount the bodies we do all the work on them and uh I'm proud of what we've accomplished this year with so few employees and um like I like to say we our Race Shop is probably smaller than a lot of gift shops and the big teams so um yeah really proud and thankful that I had this opportunity to um showcase all of our talents right it's not just about me it's about Chris and uh what he can accomplish on top of the box as well so um yeah we've been having a lot of fun this year's been a lot of fun for me um and I'm excited for the future and you know what's looming next week Daytona You've Won there before a couple years ago go could you do it again and pull another upset uh yeah I mean it's always in the back of your mind um I feel like we have uh yeah really really fast cars we just got to uh put ourselves in position Speedway racing now is just all about fuel saving fuel economy and having uh good people around you so luckily I feel like the Fords have maybe some of the best fuel economies so um save a little Fuel and uh fit with the right people and hopefully come out on top you ever look back at that win sometimes think about what that meant yeah it was obviously cool wearing this pretty close to the same fire suit today um so full full circle I appreciate what the paternal order Eagles have done for my career they've been big supporters we've won in every series with them so uh they've been with me since Kan in and uh been awesome to me so uh yeah it's a full circle opportunity that was a a cool day but um yeah definitely they say You're only as good as your last one and that was a long time ago so um ready for sure to get my second for sure and Marty as you can tell a lot of confidence here he's done great things in this R Racing
