hello and welcome to Athens Georgia the classic City and a classic day for college football the atmosphere absolutely exhilarating as a Georgia Bulldog set the te up at Sanford Stadium to start this season today we have one of those games that test your focus 25 team against an unranked opponent can you take care of business as we'll see the sharks taking on the number one team in the land the Georgia Bulldogs glad to have you with us for EA Sports college football I'm Rees Davis David Po and Jesse Palmer with me in the booth guys we are ready to tee it [Applause] up and the dogs ready to get this thing started and open the season here he comes from inside his own five and the coverage team gets the returner on the ground the Sharks Return Man Hardley helped out the offense with that one and here comes this quarterback this entire offense is built around him he is the engine of the entire team I mean he's the leader he's the alpha everybody looks towards him he's been doing it all year long everybody believes in this young man big opportunity big stage the receiver was doubled and they picked it off taking it the other way he's at the 10 touchdown Bulldogs how about that D coming up with a play like that what a play by the defense coming out early in the game on the very first drive and setting the toone not just forcing a three and out not just forcing a pun how about creating a turnover and taking it to the house big [Applause] on to attempt the try for the extra point and he's got the extra point point and it's 7 nothing to start this [Applause] one they're about to kick it away and the defense probably can't wait to get back back out there after the pick six on the move from inside is five and the returner will be brought down they've got him paned deep in their own end and this crowd trying to help keep them there try to get the edge with a quick touch pass we give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up stuck with a running game on first down now here they come again out of the gun they give to the back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple that linebacker was a heat seeking missile and the heat that he sought was the ball carrier great job great field linebackers are making all the calls in the defense and understanding when I need to come through that Gap and come through with bad intentions those guys are using 245 lb of seeking missile great job by the defense diing got some pressure on third down they hit the quarterback and force the incompletion and the punt team able to smack him to the ground so georg's offense taking the field first chance we have to see them today here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play well they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective team team yeah and they don't always show up in the Box Score but these are the guys of the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team to succeed he's out of bounds after a really nice game but there is a marker on the field so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty and here comes the offense on second down looking for man it's back receiver looks it in it's complete oh sick nasty move and he's loose this defense was flailing as he weaved his way and got down to the 26 dogs pick up the first down through the air and the Georgia fiful starting to howl and bark and we've seen that in the past with Georgia maybe you get a little bit conservative a little bit too much reliant on great defense run the football the reason that they broke through the reason they started winning championships in the recent era they became more aggressive more Dynamic throwing the football downi he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage now on second down nice job by the defense that's what you're supposed to do as soon as they catch the football you want to limit that time running out and he goes down at the 34 I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County on Third and long he'll fires deep toward the end zone and good coverage there to knock it away and deny the score it's wise not to be too greedy and they'll go ahead and send out the field goal unit and he missed it no good and the margin remains at seven after the miss the miss 51y field goal now gives this offense good starting field position at its own 34 a little release to the back he's there to make the Stop and they threw it in reverse losing yardage on that play and now on second down for this offense fires to the wide out and he's lucky to get that one back this junior quarterback knows better than to try that too often Deb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down unloads to the what fires into traffic intercepted and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the pick this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job at his decision [Applause] [Applause] and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense we talk about settling for points but sometimes when you have to settle for nothing David it can be demoralizing yeah and it can definitely be frustrating and I think it leads you to say maybe I go for it more but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish Stronger Yeah and and be a little bit less predictable too especially as they get closer and closer down to the and it is a chunk play huge gain on that one before the defense brings it to an end I love that play calling quarterbacks are always licking their chops after their defense gets a takeway because they know now hey I got a sudden change situation I've got a chance to take a shot and Pad my stats throws to the wide out and he's going to take it into the end zone touchdown dog bet this coaching stat is jacked up get this offense firing so fast early in the season on point A lot of times it takes time to build the Rhythm it takes time to get it rolling this offense started the season off with a bang ling up to add another on exra point and the extra point makes it 14 this offense pred itself on going after you and they did with that long touchdown pass to finish off a two-play [Applause] drive and he'll bring it back and the returner goes down defense has him pinned back and listen to this Crow Roar the give out of the gun runs through a tackle they needed to find enough space and get it moving forward and they're up to the 22 they can really be aggressive after that last play it's second and three they'll go to the ground he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three coming to the line of scrimmage on third down from the gun once to pass oh they really could have used that catch there physical pass defense it brings up a fourth down and the Sharks line up to punt it away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away looking for a block it's love it and the returner is [Applause] stopped we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense boy David they would love to stack another touchdown on top of that last drive and this offense did such a good job on the last Drive everything in Rhythm move the ball down the field didn't make those mistakes Jesse and they need to do it again on this yeah you're right they had the defense on their heels you wonder what sort of communication was going on that sideline what sort of changes were they able to make cuz they got to stop the bleeding right and a decent gain there before the defense makes the stop I think you run that play so you stay out of third and long third and long is not where an offense ever wants to thrive third and medium hey I'm good with that so you run that play to make sure you're set up for a good third down and the defense had it hands full but they finally wrestle him down short of the first down so they're not comfortable with their field goal kicker from here so the offense will go for it on fourth down they'll try to pick up the first the Bulldogs are stopped with not four getting it past the sticks you're in TR territory on fourth and one I don't think the quarterback was ever thinking about coming off the field would surprised if the QB convinced the coach to go ahead and do it from the way it looked 100% that's the coach we got this absolutely we want more points we got to go for it I believe in my guys and the players always try to go for it kept it on the ground last time let's see if they go back to it on second down that pass is incomplete and they might be fortunate it wasn't knock three for a fumble it'll be third down and now let's see if the offense can bail itself foul after the second down missfire grabbed in the middle it's humph and they reacted well to the completion but it was too late to keep them from getting the first down and the Bulldogs are rolling down the field they want to just keep throwing it excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away let's see what they've got on second down you see these windows they're getting smaller and ER to throw into really nice job by the defense that time getting a hand in there knocking that ball away and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pick up and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I I just I just want to get the first down understanding the situation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down Mark got his man out to the Back Field and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few well he comes up with the reception but not a lot of room to run after that yeah and I like the QB doing this I mean I'm going to find ways to give him the football and see if he can make a miss and I'm going to bet most of the time that my guy is a little bit more athletic than that defensive guy defense one this battle but I like trying to get this guy the ball in space Oh so close to paying off the tip really had it in his hands but it falls incomplete and they're able to get a third down stop here see if they go for it on Fourth now on fourth down they'll send out the field goal unit it's good he could have hit a string right in the middle of the uprights there and that lead grows even bigger so after the last Drive ended with a field goal the kickoff team out there to send it [Applause] away he'll bring it out it's bullet find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 first snap of this drive will come from their own 17 power football with the Run they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 out of the shotgun they go to the ground nudges the head for one out to the 16 that's trying to do as a defense limit those damage when they run the football get them on the ground short gains to set your defense for positive situations down the road they're trying to get to it makes the grab it's MGA they'll move those chains getting it out to the 29 yd line and trying to get this drive rolling the Sharks come to the line with a new set of downs out of the gun they'll run it inside cross the 30 out to the 33 and Gage four on the play that's a really nice play it's impressive when it's first down the defense thinks you might be running the football you still can line up you can get some movement at the point of attack and find a little p for your rning he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum trying to move the sticks on third down through the air they're working that left side good job running that rout to get past the sticks because he got nothing after the catch they'll snap it from the 39 first and 10 fast motion from the offense from the shotgun they'll run it and he's stuffed by that big defensive tackle up front they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 the give on the inside and the ball's out and they're after it the defense on that now they're headed the other way and he's brought down and this defense gets the ball back for to oh and it's a hit like that that will absolutely light up the sideline light up the stadium change the momentum and help you win a football game because that hit is what caused that fumble [Music] and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense and to settle for the Chip Shot field goal last time Jesse they'd love for this one to pay off bigger yeah it just comes down to execution too did a nice job out in the field stalled a little bit once they got down to the goal line so they just need to be a little bit more crisk here yeah and listen I think the first part was the most important part you got to put the drive together first to get down there now we get down there focus on execution and getting six points he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three when the offense gets in those multiple tight end looks you kind of have a good understanding of what's coming you don't know where the ball's going necessarily but they'll put those big old bodies in there to block to move people to put more mass on the field especially once you get in this red area where you have to be able to run the football effectively those passing Windows tend to shrink a lot no we close on that one as he got thrilled trying to deliver the football and now they face third down they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one now he's going to Glide away from pressure and he was drilled just as he it's INE so they'll send out the field goal unit the holder will Kno at the 24 a 34 y coming from the right hand field goal is good and that will extend their lead even further so the kickoff team is out there ready to booted away after putting up a field goal let's see what the defense can do on the run from inside his zone [Applause] five and the offense takes the field eager to go back to work from the gun the running back tries to hit the hole and makes the tackle at the 23 after he got 10 wide receiver now comes in motion right back to the well nice move to keep moving good solid run on that one as he gets it up to the 33 yd line that kind of pick up on first down and you can take a shot here on second and short and he'll move his way forward to the first down they'll mark it at the 35 here's his offense with a fresh set of [Applause] downs quarterback on the keeper and he'll pick up one it brings up second and nine got a little work done on first down now back to the line after the run run run now to throw quick strike complete B is free now the offense looks as if they fell on the fumble and they'll keep the ball keep the change moving but when it's a playaction pass that quarterback he really has to sell the F he can't tell his offensive line getting beat right away while he's selling the fake he had no [Applause] shot and the Sharks will try to pin them back with the punt running it back it's love he's got great speed that Nifty return sets up the offense and negates some of the yardage on the punt we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense they'll give it to the back Mak a man miss and as an offensive coordinator you don't need the perfect play with this guy as your running back he's going to make the play perfect for you because he makes everybody miss spin moves hurdles stiff arms speed whatever it takes move the sticks and score a touchdown and they'll bring him down but not before he picks up the first down here's his offense with a fresh set of downs looking for a gap it's etn and a nice run there before the defense finally makes the stop he's got 42 yards rushing in the early going and he is making an impact in the first game of the season that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there we'll see if they go back to the run here on third down off the RP quick throw to the right he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down I don't blame them they're going to keep working this guy out of the slot until somebody finds a way to stop him yeah and why wouldn't you man you you find a matchup that's working and you got a guy with this kind of athletic ability in the slot dude keep finding him keep using different routes so far the defense doesn't have an answer for him this Georgia offense moving quickly down the field they'll put the tight end in motion off the play fake on first down fires to the wide out touchdown Georgia and they take it in for six more points yeah now this offense holding that lead it's still the first half but I tell you what shown some glimpses of why they can become a really really good offense listen you go into halftime more of the same right continue to do what you're doing take care of the football this offense has look really good in the first half and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they finish things off with a 21 yd touchdown pass from inside his own 10 let's see what he gets he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and the offense out on the field to go back to work with Jet Sweep pass and they'll wrestle him to the ground after a short gain second down coming UPS up from the gun he leaves it with the B running hard and getting six yard out to the 26 now looking for that first down on Third and short from the 26 they'll try the Jet Sweep to pick up the first down now they'll really try to get this drive going good execution on third down as they have it first and 10 at the 31 the run to the right not a lot of daylight get one to the 32 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine he's looking to throw trying to get to it and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete they couldn't connect on second down now staring at a third and nine got it in the middle it's Williams they'll get the first down it's spotted on the 49 and this junior loves to show off that big arm hard work pays off Guys these offenses work so hard week in week out working on those critical down distances third down having that conversion this early in the game that's got to feel good for the motion from the offense touch pass on the Jet Sweep the defense wouldn't let him lose there and it was a completion when they lost yardage eight play of the drive and keep this one going they'll need to convert a third and five he wants to throw it again fires to the big fella he gets it to the 38 yd line and they'll pick up a fresh set of downs the sharks with the first and 10 they saw that Blitz coming and the way to get out of it is find the tight end yeah how quick did he see that too sees the blitz understands this is a matchup where I got my big tight end the big fella I trust I'm going to find that match up get him the football B for the first down quick touch pass to the receiver each brought down but he went backwards after that completion not the way they had it drawn up now facing a third and [Applause] long from the gun wants to pass he's got his man he gets it oh so close to the first down marker but I think he's going to be a touch short they'll try to put three on the board as a field goal unit comes on never a doubt well the head coach decided to play it safe on Fourth and inches and try his field goal team out there and his field goal kicker just made him look like a pretty smart [Applause] guy so after the M field goal they'll kick it away and rely on their [Applause] defense he'll bring it back from inside his SP he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense out of the gun the inside k a knock him down after a gain of three to the 23 got three on first down at second and seven brings up second down from the gun running back gets to give yeah and listen offensively you run the rpos just want positive yards make the right read read the guy if he wants to drop back a little bit hand it off get some positive yards go on to the next play on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air he unleashes a long one and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play as they get set to snap at time winding down here in the [Applause] quarter quickly complete oh he gave him a dead leg they finally get him on the ground but that's the kind of play that will carry momentum into the second quarter well guys it's Georgia holding the lead at the end of the really strong performance so far to be able to build a lead here in the first period as we look at the [Music] stats now the challenge here they've taken a punch but they can't let it get out of hand as we start the second they'll run it out of the shotgun pick up of one it's down at the 11 going to work on second down down in the red zone and still some ground to cover to pick up that first down pre- snap motion quarterback trying to get a read the big defensive tackles in the middle they're not always the best pass rushers but they are strong and I say Country Strong they put their hands on you you feel it they lock people out on the line of scrimmage they create separation they wrap running backs up and usually they don't get out of the mids of those bigs and now on fourth down they'll try a field goal and the holder will spotted on the 14 for a 24 yd attempt just drives it between the uprights and they'll push that lead out a little they keep pushing that lead out and the kickoff team's getting some work and he takes this from inside the five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 three tight ends in the formation on First and 10 used the play fake now to throw gets it out quickly he's brought down but there's a flag on the play let's see if it stands the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty the run to the left not much there they'll give him one to the 14 after trying the running game let's see if they do it again on second down here's the handoff that hole closed quickly pick up of one to the 15 you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 looking to throw and he needs a chunk play not a ton of play calls for third in California when you're on offense you know you're going to have to have your quarterback holding on to the football you really got to think about how you're going to protect him offensive coordinate may want to think about using more max protect schemes get more bodies in to give this quarterback a chance and the Sharks decide to punt it away doesn't say much for your drive when you're looking forward to the punt sometimes avoiding disaster is the best thing the punter just gets it out of there slips through the line and good work by the coverage team to get the Return Man Down On The Ground we're ready to get another look at this bog offense always good to get points on a drive David but Chip Shot field goals can a little empty and I think it's great to get points but the great teams get touchdowns in the red area you got to get out there this time and execute a little better on this drop you're absolutely right David generally the best Red Zone offenses are the ones that run the ball he smashes his way through again he now has 61 yd rushing and that is quite an impressive first half here in this season opener first for the Ed the play fake now thr he's got it and he will score touchdown Bulldogs these guys wanted to make a statement the statement has been delivered it's your job to stop them oh don't run the score up well do something about it defense has to step up and make plays obviously they're not willing to do that so just keep running plays and keep scoring lining up to tack one more onto that lead and with the extra point they pushed the lead out a little further let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Connors Kevin what do you got Gentlemen let's take a look at what's happening in this exciting college football game USF has had no answer for the onslaught they faced today a crucial game for this team and they did not answer the Bell they're trailing by 14 to UAB they'll run the RPO and throw it right he'll Circle back if anything big happens you should know about thanks for the update on that one Kevin let us know when it goes final quickly complete he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks they'll start this one from the 29 on first down I'll tell you QBs and receivers they practice these out routes all week long you've got to anticipate you've got to be comfortable throwing it before he gets out of his break and they executed it perfectly right right there to pick up that first using his legs it's Roberts they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one four punts already and they've got to convert here to avoid a fifth on third down going up top got his man in the middle they'll move the chains after he gets it to the 43 yd line not the most productive half for this offense so far but finally starting to get it in gear first and 10 quick pass on the Fly motion not a whole lot of room there three yards maybe second and seven they're about to run a dirty half dozen plays on this drive and these little touch passes man they're just the easiest completions ever for quarterbacks Palmer I bet you would have loved being able to just Flip It Forward that counts as to your completion percentage which is good and then it's all run after the catch so pretty easy for a QB you wouldn't have been the only allamerican in this booth D if I were allowed to push passes was playing I tell you that it is so hard to defend so hard to seal that edge especially when this guy's Full Speed Ahead coming [Applause] around on the return it's 11 he'll get it to about the 25 before they put a stop to the return and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense wide receiver coming across in motion off the play fake on first down wants to throw and it's in complete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down catch in the middle it's and he was loose and out the gate and doesn't go down until he gets to the 48 yd Line This offense absolutely humming as they come to the line again the give to the backat at the 35 got room he works his way inside the 30 down to the 29 and picks up a first down the dogs come to the line with a fresh set of downs firers to the right gets out of bounds after the big play and they'll be set up in bus for the first and goal you know's got to love this offense picking up so many first downs it's their own defense David I know you love playing on teams great offenses they move the tight end all over a first down run on the doorstep touchdown dogs and they add six more to the board with that trip to the house follow the blocker the offensive by will take you to the Hallelujah land and I tell you what most of the time ree it requires a little bit of skill to find that hole and you know Slither through a little crack that was not a crack that was wide open didn't take a lot of vision blocking was outstanding ready to try the point after the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead they put together a five play 75 yd drive and they finish it off with the score from the four and it'll come out to the 25 no attempt at a return the drive starts from their own 25 yd line give to the back tackle is made at the 28 after a pick up of three after the three yd pick up they come to the line Second and seven wide receiver shows motion touch pass on the r got the first down looking for more and they'll move the chains and get it to the 47 yd line yeah way to be creative way to get the ball in the perimeter really quickly get some speed outside all you got to do is secure that edge and you're just trying to get that first down nice job nice play call by the offense the offense will put it in play from the 47 on First and [Applause] 10 he wants to throw makes the grab down the middle no chance to run but still a solid pick up on that one right on target with that last pass now it's second and medium he's just winning that match up in the slot every time and when you in the slot re's closer to the quarterback it's an easier throw we can run in we can run out and really take advantage of this versatility of the guy that slot position read it fires complete now with a great opportunity as they pick up the first down they've got it at the 40 the sharks are moving quickly down the field wants to throw on first down completed pass but it not only goes nowhere it goes backwards offense has a second down play Hey on offense you got to know when the plays over that one there nowhere to go with it after he caught the football you start trying to juk guys you start trying to run backward this ain't high school anymore you used to be able to make that play years ago you're not doing it here in Big Time college football though not good lets it Fly and he bats it away it falls incomplete and the Sharks will send out the punt unit third and long situations are really hard to convert the defense know knows it's going to be pass the pass rushers are getting up field you're under pressure you don't have timing and as a result now we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did D I mean that was a master class in just reading coverage and being accurate that's the way start a drive and now they'll try to follow up on First and 10 quarterback flips it ahead quickly to the receiver really nice stop there from this senior leader so after the first down run here's second down he's looking to throw fires toward the target caught over the middle it's Del really putting together a threat now they get the first H at the 37 here's this offense with a fresh set of downs wide out in motion open space of the 25 brought down at the 21 yd line a 50yd pickup and they are in Prime position to get points now off the play fake on first down to throw he's going to take off on the run and he'll slide to avoid the hit trying to make this Red Zone trip pay off it's really hard defensively to bring pressure when you keep moving the quarterback outside the pocket you don't know which way he's going to go great job get him outside the pocket now he can get on the edge and get some easy free yards or take a shot deep down the field they'll stick to the ground looking for the marker and they did not let him reach the line to gain it'll bring up a decision here this kicker's leg is getting a workout already made three field goals and here he comes again and this one splits the upright and they just pack on a little more to this gargantuan [Applause] lead that lead just keeps getting fatter in this kickoff team doing a little running the returner will field it and try to set up his offense in great field position and the coverage team able to make the tackle this offense is so deep in the hole it looks like the end Zone's at the end of the Earth from the gun they'll try to impose their will they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 he's looking to throw using the quick game they make the stop trying to pick up just a little bit at a time to get to that first down Mark there fast motion from the offense he's looking to pass he's going to fire deep and they wanted it all on third down but now dealing with fourth down the Sharks will call on their punt team nice job in coverage there offense trying to take a shot down field the defender able to that one up in the air and force it incomplete that's a perfect example of not settling for a fair catch pick up whatever yardage you can and help out the offense and find his man on the left just a quick Rhythm throw there and really good use of the tight end yeah good use of the big fell I mean go through your progressions real quick you can't find anything get the easy gain don't take a shot down the field all the time those shots later but take those easy wide open opportunities to get some positive CHS they'll put it in play from the 40 on First and [Applause] 10 Ed the play fake now to throw he fires to the left side a big time catch along the sidelines got the foot down and an excellent throw too touchdown Georgia and it in for six more points and this offense is clicking another touchdown didn't have to go far for this drive but this offense is doing what they want how they want when they want he'll try to add another to their lead exra and with that extra point the lead remains in the gargantuan category we check in with Kevin Connor what's going on Kevin all right guys want to update you on a game that went final moments ago Liberty overcame a sloppy start and just put the finishing touches on a notable Road and to pick yourself up and dust yourself off away from Lynchberg these Flames got to be thrilled with the result 60 Minutes of football a convincing outcome and certainly a game with implications far beyond just the standings fellas yeah how about that sounds as if they had a good ball game there Kevin thanks for the update slams into the pile he'll get one to the 17 a third and long coming up here from the gun wants to pass holds it it on the left and a pick up of better than 30 yards on that completion before the defense brings him down down and the Sharks getting set on First and [Applause] 10 quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no gain land line getting set on second down he's looking to throw gets it out fast he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense well this guy's not easy to bring down they just throw him a simple hitch pass but he's got so many moves out in the open field you've got to get a lot of hats to the football to get that guy down prevent him from scoring on big plays the sharks are on the [Applause] move he just keeps slinging it and it's picked off for the third time today looking for more room at the 30 he's at the 10 and it's going to be a pick six touchdown bulldogs look I know it's only the second quarter but we're starting to see a pretty significant Gap developed between these two teams right now no doubt when your defense is scoring your offense is scoring good things happening for your ball defense on point reading their Scouting Report making big [Applause] plays they'll try to attack one more on their score the extra point and the extra point will attack another one onto this lead they're lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out fing it he'll start the return inside his five he was hoping for something a little more damic that they get him on the ground at the 20 guys this offense coming back out onto the field they'll run the RPO and Fire to the right they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do pick up that first down this offense set up with a second and short leaves it with the running back slammed to the ground but not before he gets the first down it's first and 10 from the 38 yd line used the play fake now to throw and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete after the misfire now on second down doesn't take this defense a lot of time to get to the quarterback man they've got speed all over the place they hit him so quickly and because of that the ball Falls incomplete looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off feeling some heat and there was nowhere to go for this quarterback and down he goes you got to be impressed with this def in this game guys they've got a big lead because they are getting after the quarterback they've already generated multiple sacks they thought coming into this game they could take advantage of this offensive line and that game plan is working to Perfection and the Sharks will punt it away on fourth [Applause] down he'll bring it back it's love it returns like that are why you don't settle for the catch if you don't have to picks up just a little bit of yards to help out the O the offense showing motion from the tight end trying to get a read on the D coming out on first down with the play fake and they got him for the sack we'll be new coming into this game this defense had some matchups they felt really good about up front and they won one right there getting to the quarterback creating a negative play and they're going to need these guys to start winning more of those because they are finding themselves in a hole here early in the game throwing right makes a connection and he just continues to put up numbers and that number is now over 300 this guy just throws completions man the ball doesn't seem to touch the ground he's back there he's making the right reads right now he is locked into what this defense is trying to do Georgia lining up to put it away and I like the aggressiveness on Third and short trying to throw the football take advantage of a look that they got they weren't SU uccessful and now it's Fourth and short territory who knows [Applause] kick so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty man oh man those types of penalties just drive defensive coordinators crazy was fourth down now first down and there they go again another huge gain on the ground he now has 111 yards on the ground and that will put him over 100 and what a way to start as we reach the two-minute warning they'll need to try to get a stop to keep this thing from getting out of hand Georgia coming out with the fresh set of downs he'll be brought down at the 5 yd line and this defense is on it heels keep pounding away at this defense and make them play the run if you can get this many a chunk they're going to have to commit more guys to the Box more guys to the run then you open it up for the passing H and he's got it touchdown do and what a nice play call and nice execution play action you're thinking run quarterback pulls it out throws the football right behind those guys and gets the touchdown yeah it was a nice job there by the quarterback too on the ball hand just froze the defense just long enough to help those wide receivers and targets some separation in the end zone and at that point it was just an easy pitching catch lining up to attack one more onto that lead and with the extra point they pushed the lead out a little further so that scoring Drive took only six plays and the score comes on a 5yd touchdown pass they're just about ready to kick it away [Applause] he'll bring it out it's bullet I know he thinks he can house every return but sometimes you just have to take a knee as he stopped at the 14 first snap of this drive will come from inside the 15 at their own 14 yd line unloads to the Wi out what a job to lay out and make the catch and this junior quarterback shows you why the scouts love that big arm of his he's looking to throw it quickly out to the tight end a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do and that's your goal separate man from ball trying to get your shoulder in there on the catch point and really make give him something to think about physically jar that football and knock it out nice job by the defender he's got him this time and he's down at the 41 that's a first down the Sharks will hustle to the [Applause] line looking to go up top on first down finds his man in the middle and a nice job working the middle of the field I think it's so important to keep defenses honest and you can't just Dink and dunk out outside you got to work the middle great job finding this wide receiver over the Middle Field got it in the middle it's m tackled at the 45 after the 5yd play it's enough for the first [Applause] down looking to move it through the air complete down field and he's brought to the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down here's this offense with a frh set of downs going up top on first down throws to the tight end got him downfield defense makes a stop but the chains move and it's first and goal from the eight and now a chance not only to cut into the lead but play it just right and maybe the other another interception that's his fourth of the day and he's brought down and his defense gets the ball back for to let's go two inters already for this linebacker unbelievable job understanding passing situation how to get passing Lanes how to get his second pick dude he's going to the sidelines bragging to the DBS I got way more picks than you do well this one had all the suspense of a bug hurdling his way toward a windshield and they did splatter them an absolutely dominating performance got to give the coaching staff a ton of credit they obviously had their guys ready to play and motivated right from the opening kick all three phases we saw just spectacular football no mental mistakes David you really can't play better than that n and it's it's really fun to do this come out and just dominate opponent start from Finish nothing to worry about you just know you're better you're going to do you put up a bunch of points and win by a lot of points that's going to do it for us for Jesse
