Oregon State Fair 2024 in Salem, Oregon! | New Attractions, Rides, Food, Shows, and More!

what's going on guys welcome back to the channnel for another video and today we have come over here to the Oregon State Fair it is our fourth year in a row that we've come here but this time it's a little special because the Oregon State Fair themselves has invited us out so they provided us with admission some Carnival tickets parking pass so thank you so much Oregon State Fair for having us out here we always love coming here and enjoying ourselves so it's going to be another fun time here at the Oregon state fair I invite you guys to come along with me on another Vlog so it's about 10:30 in the morning and uh Fair at 10:00 but the carnival ticket boots open till 11:00 so we got all these people waiting in line here we bought our tickets online but we still have to wait in this line so we're going to wait till 11: to get a wristbands we got the girls wristbands and then since the Oregon State Fair provided us with tickets as well we're going to my wife and I are going to use those and then buy the girls to unlimited wristband because they're going to want to go on the rides over and over again so just so you guys know the wristbands the unlimited wristbands here are 60 bucks if you buy them here at the ticket booth but they're 45 if you buy them online so we always buy them online because they're 15 bucks cheaper and but we still got to wait here on the line um but yeah it's 15 bucks cheaper if you get them online so we always do that I just wonder like maybe a lot of these people don't know that you could get them online and that's why they wait here and buy them here but yeah it's way more expensive here especially if you're with a family uh that could add up you know so I always advise people to get your wristbands online it'll be way cheaper [Music] we got the girls wristbands now we're going to start going on the rides thank you guys for watching have fun w [Music] so we just got off of the first ride which was this roller coaster right here oh it's a lot of fun the good thing about getting here early is that you get to get do a good amount of rides for the first hour or two so cuz if you get here around noon it's already going to be packed so I always advise everyone to get here right when they open because if you get here around noon or 1 or 2 the later it goes the the more packed it's going to be so all right it's going to be our next one we're next in line after this ride but uh yeah I don't I don't think I've ever been on this one before I was supposed to go on here with my daughter but we had to go separate for some reason so now here [Music] alone look at [Music] that wo D me down oh God so all right all right slowing down oh man oh no oh my God give me an adrenaline rush I haven't been on something like that thrilling in a long time but all right let's go on next one so they have a couple of rides here attractions that were not here last time and this was one of them the Big Splash like a flume ride log ride it's like fire them another one that I saw they usually have like a haunted house where it's like a little train or little little uh little ride that you go through the haunted house but this time it seems like it's like a walk through they changed it up a little bit so I probably could check that out Sophie and I are going to do this free drop one not too high not nothing too crazy but we're up here next and as sun is starting to peek through it's starting to be a beautiful dayy are you ready for this one are you ready sure my gosh that's going to go all the way up there [Music] all right here we go oh man get a beautiful view of this side of the fair though look oh the wcky thing about this one is that you don't know when it's going to stop [Music] all right that was so uh the thing with this one is that they're so unexpected you don't know when it's going to fall you know e you like that one her face was so she was so it is a new uh haunted house that they have now like I said before it was like a little ride but now it's like a walkth through I believe but it's really cool this animatronics that they have out here you see them right here got a clown and this called Zombie circus all right we're going to check out the zombie circus I love these animatronics that they have they're huge is like probably like 9 ft animatronic there holding a skeleton by its legs oh my God all right I think these animatronics are more scary than the mate itself scared pretty much it's dark in there oh is that oh yeah take a flashlight yeah all right verdict about this I think it always is with this HED house it was like just dark little maze there with no scare actors or anything so I mean probably wouldn't do it again um but I really enjoyed the facade though that's pretty cool but other than that yeah it was like nothing just it was super dark in there and we just have to walk through the maze one more yeah that all three SS like it oh got to do it hard you want to if you do another one you can get another a bigger Prize or you if you get another one you can win something from over there I'm going one more time H one more time okay show want one more time one more time yeah woo what would you like banana or mushroom mushroom want one of these green ones a yellow one what color baby there you go all right thank you so [Music] much this is my my partner again like last year you ready for this [Music] Dy wow oh no you're squishy let's go our next ride Freak [Music] Out woo woo that was the freak out I would say though it's like Prett short it's like 30 seconds of that so that's the only bad thing but it was fun all right we're making our way over here to the other side of the the fair maybe uh taking a little break from the from the rice right now um but there is more rice over here as well so the girls might do some over here but it's more like the kitty section here um they do have the big fer whe over there that we're probably going to do later on though um they have the fun houses but we're going to see we're going to walk around the vendors and probably pick up a snack or so got a fun house right there at the games here you can win some alien balloons they're Inflatables got a ducky game here there's the big Fair whe like I said it's more like the kitty section like the taller section here so they got all these little taller rides the Carousel and you can start seeing the the food section blooming onion that actually they have that at Outback Steakhouse it's interesting the chicken strips they got pizza the yakisoba noodles right over there and of course you got your cotton candy uh your Apple Caramel yeah Sophie's uh Sophie and de are going to play this fishing one oh Sophie got one nice let's see if Des could get one yeah Desi still trying they oh there you go Desi got one too and I think when you win you could choose any of these prizes here uh they're both getting Dolphins okay we're looking to eat something and uh tacos sound good right now they also have food cups here got nachos right next door they got chicken strips and Fries the blooming onion yeah so the priz is here are $12 for T three tacos or $16 for the taco plate which is like two tacos rice and beans meat burrito gordita so it is expensive but you could expect that from the fair you know you shouldn't be surprised price could be a little bit pricey but that's what you come for you know for all these type of foods here all right we got our snacks I call this a snack for now wife for me oh well I do eat more than my wife so I guess snack for me and meal for her but the girls got buffalo wings with some fries here they both got the same thing [Applause] oh are you done with this I'm going to go get corn on the cob but right now there's a show going on some dancers some kids dancing there so I found them so they got the Takis version and also they got the hot Cheeto version um I'll probably get the hot Cheeto version if they don't have the normal one if they have the normal one one I'll get the normal one got lemonade they got burnout bacon burger pulled pork nachos Truman fries so we're going to go around the corner here where they're grilling the corns and give them the receip so they can make it for us but yeah here's where they're grilling everything [Music] thank you so much I got my my corn here I get some na [Music] pins there you go thank you so much Su all right wife we got her chocolate covered banana here here you go honey oh my Go Girls still working on their wings waa D you're like a wing eating contest all right it's starting to come down here I think it's just like a pass a cloud passing by shouldn't last long but got to take cover especially with my camera here got to switch over to the action camera H look at these wagons yeah you you come the C so we're taking cover oh everyone's taking cover inside here just looking at the animals and everything because right now it is pouring down [Music] outside they got the cows here [Music] got some [Music] bunnies let's see the horses they're all lined up right here and the Stables so the weather apps said it was going to rain till 8:00 tonight and it's 1:30 right now and it started pouring down so never trust the weather ABS they're always constantly changing um but it's starting to slow down a little bit hopefully we get a little break it was just a cloud passing by because it would suck if it continues to rain throughout the day and uh you know we have to go home so uh but yeah I think it's starting to slow down a little bit so we continue enjoying the fair oh Dy show them what you got you got two dolphins no one is still cute but she asking me if I can hold whole her SC oh nice how do you feel about that her backpack making me is making my shoulder turn already it's been like seconds her backpack is like what backpack this backpack too heavy and Sophie's taking a picture right now so she told Desi to hold all her stuff and she's saying it's too heavy you're being a good little sister [Music] you hear the camera [Music] no aside from the little rain pour down that we had a little bit ago it's been a good good day here at the Oregon stay fair and once again thank you so much for the Oregon state fair for for inviting us out here to enjoy another year of the Oregon State Fair we love coming here every year it's become a tradition for us it usually happens like the week before the girls go back to school so same thing this year the girls go back to school on Monday so it's just a perfect uh way to end the summer but yeah we're going to continue exploring here go on some rides later on more rides where the girls are I know my wife and I my wife and I will probably go on the ferris whe for our last ride and then the girls will continue doing rides but we want to explore the vendors we want to explore the a jumpy house over there I know D's going to like that uh we're going to they had a car show here like two years ago I wish they had it again and they also had like RVS that you could check out so we're going to see what they have new here all right so cutting over here to the other side this is another thing that's new over here they have not just one or two but they have like five different jumpy houses here of different types and it is called the place ground the playground and bar so here is I'm not sure [Music] though I'm not sure of uh do they charge extra for this yeah they charge extra to go here on the on the bouncy houses separate from your tickets and admission here the the end of the fairlifts you all the way over here and yeah this is a show that we used to watch by the same company M midl Lord I think it's called but this time they're actually uh doing like a water one that's a big pool right there and they jump off from there so that's cool I don't know what time it starts though like here's the airlift or Fair lift as they call it I see another new thing here it's like little fountains shooting out of that I wonder there's another show [Music] SE Li Splash photos so it gu like a sea lion show but here are the prices sea lion Splash photos 4X 6 20 5x 7 25 6X 8 30 and 8x 1035 and you can see a sea line right over there the girls are over here probably checking out the face painting [Music] they do a cheek for $10 half for 15 or the whole face for 20 here's a examples of people that have got their face painted here [Music] pictures and there's some more over here [Music] so what would it be honey check $10 check so dy's going to do the cheek which is $10 seems to be a stage right behind me here and don't know if it's a concert wait probably a show called Puppy PWS puppy pals live [Music] [Music] on is it's a mermaid it's a mermaid's house we're going to check out this show puppy pals live as seen on America Got Talent AGT that's cool so going to check it out here welcome welcome to puppy pals live the comedic Sun dog show as scen on America's Got who also has the nickname of being our high flyer and he is about to show you exactly how he earned that nickname all right very good but that's not all you guys over Dylan and back over Dylan one up the ramp he's already starting to go down the slide around the baral over the through the hurdles we'll count it back on to that Podium stop that timer 9 seconds 9 seconds give it up for cash Rudy is actually our Undisputed champion of the really rough All-Star Race aren't you Rudy and that's just because he is so strong isn't he Dylan but also incredibly humble he's off start that timer is that cheating we'll count it all the way over the hurdles back onto the podium stop that that time 5 Seconds we're going to add a second though he cheated a little bit 6 seconds 6 seconds for Rudy do you want to see Rudy jump four hurdles you do we got to give the ladies what they want right okay so you want Ry to jump not one not two not three but four hurdles these girls are crazy and I love it okay Rudy I believe in you and so do those ladies let's see what you can do a you guys you're totally holding out on me over there there's a whole another hurdle over here what do you think we should do should we add the hurdle yeah let me hear you say one more hurle amazing give it up for Rudy you guys so that was the puppy pal live show it was pretty good it was pretty good the first time we ever watched this I don't know if it's the first time here but it was the first time that we' seen it so it was a was a good good show now we're coming over here to where the vendors are checking out these uh little vendors out here we are the vendors got all these here of course you got like your your art your plushies some uh clothing as well I didn't bring a sweater today so if they have like a sweater that I like I'll probably get one if you're looking in here looking at some clothes some skirts D's painting his face [Music] painting my wife and I are going to get another snack we're going to get this Oreo ice cream but they also have peanuts sprinkles bbo coconut and toffee they also have regular ice cream on a cone if you like some donuts fresh cookies I think this is called AA ice cream tell us what you think on the Oreo ice cream [Music] bar good show is very hard it's very delicious it here on the other side it's really good it's like a really hard shell like not thin so you got that chocolatey feel to it it's really delicious wow so this was of pea ice cream uh really good really good ice cream bar there we got the Oreo ones but like I said they also have toffee peanuts combo and some other one coconut but it was really good oh we're back here in the back of the fair here I think it's called like Oregon Hometown or Hometown Oregon but they got like a garden and other things look at this VW they have shaved ice there but yeah they have like a little gardan very very beautiful back here so I always wanted to check it out and as you guys can see the sun is out now blue skies so hopefully we don't get no more [Music] rain it's nice little Garden here with some flowers got a little Fountain little waterfall here it's nice and peaceful back here they also have some food trucks they got that one Momiji sushi restaurant but yeah this kind of like an oasis back here they do have a stage right over here where there doing some music these flowers [Music] gorgeous I see these carvings all around the fair they're [Music] amazing so more food trucks back here and let's check out who is uh who's playing right [Music] now maybe [Music] everything back I got a couple vendors back here and they also have like a little standard school like that building right there it's Cherian District number 85 Cherian standard School kind of like a for [Applause] Halloween sorts of unique look at these unique structures [Music] I think I lost my mommy you one of these dolls H I do yeah you [Music] do oh yeah same yeah I I I you know I every Jack like nice little building there yeah this the back side is the back side of the fair it's always beautiful back here especially this area right here with the garden with the flowers and then they got the little creek or the little water fountain it's all of a sudden looking like a gorgeous day isn't it it's going to Columbia Hall I think this is where they have all the like cakes decorated and stuff yeah they're right here right where we walk in I like seeing these cuz they get really creative with their cakes wow going stay FP that one's nice that one got what first judge's choice this one is my sunny side up some flower one yeah got a Nintendo switch there what's your looks like like a Fourth of July one your favorite all right let's start here got your little ones let's start there we're going to go all the way around and you have decide which one's your favorite we can vote this one's nice this year they have like this glass on separating the caves they didn't used to have that before I think probably people were playing with them and knocking them over or something and this one's beautiful look at this look got got to take it serious [Music] nice very colorful looks perfect got the like candy like dripping there the ice cream it's dripping down this is I wonder what this is miniature just probably manure buildings look at that one right there they got all these they got this 50s diner you can see the milkshake there the burger the good old times right then you got another variation over here burgers and dogs then down here you got the roller skates cuz I remember seeing that waitresses would you know wear their roller blades while serving the food and they got this one over here kind of like [Music] a meatloaf mashed potatoes Coca-Cola and ice cream [Music] sundae on to our next snack if you call it a snack is our carada fries here at the north side of the of the fair oh there they are thank you and here they are I mean I don't know but we did not think there were going to be like curly fries with just a little meat on top and then there's some walk wacamole on the side okay we're going to try the Korean corn knock we've heard good things about it and I think we're going to go with the Hot Cheetos half hot dog half mozzarella Korean corn dog see how it is it's 12 bucks each not too bad but uh yeah we were kind of curious to try this to we have to try new foods like this is the new food we haven't eat yeah hone why you want fries don't so yeah we got fries from this place the carna Sala fries but they were not the best in our opinion so we're not getting them again but this looks promising there's been quite a line for quite some time here so I'm pretty sure they're going to be good so our next snack here is the Korean corn dog got the hot Cheeto one half hot dog half cheese with kind of sace uh garlic no this one habanero mango [Music] habanero oh look at that cheese pool [Music] it's pretty good would you get it again yeah I think the hot dog is like right yeah the sauce is pretty good how about the outside is Hot Cheetos right here it is bunch of mozzarella cheese in there and it's half hot dog so the hot dog's probably at the bottom Korean Hot [Music] Dog it takes a while for the flavor to KCK in the batter is good that's good I think for me I would probably like it more with the whole on I have this this is a garlic one some garlic some type of garage sauce [Music] here M delicious the garlic helps a lot here a hot dog part [Music] [Music] [Music] a lot better with the hot dog so if we were ever to get this again at least me I would probably get it the old hot dog instead of half cheese half hot dog how would you get it oh hot dog we are waiting for the show here I not sure what it's called but it's by the same company of I flip um but they have a big pool right here I'm not sure what time that it starts I'm guessing 520 so I don't know either 5:30 or 6 [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] show I got the rest of it on my phone but it really started pouring down harder than ever today and it starts finally calm down a little bit right now but man I don't know if it's going to come back but I got all soaked all my shirt is soaked manand theine has given us some pain today but hopefully it's I don't know man I don't even know anymore cuz I kept hoping it would go away but it keeps almost we're going to go on the ferris wheel our four of us here we haven't done a ride in a while well the kids have been doing a ride for my wife and I had just been walking around and checking things out so we have a couple more tickets that the state fair gave us so we want to make sure to use them okay going on the ferris wheel here so it's BET's first time ever on a ferish wheel how you feeling Jessie feeling nervous [Music] [Music] let's see what kind of Slurpees the girls got diie got candy you got cot and Candy M and Sophie got cherry cherry strawberry lemonade strawberry lemonade cherry oh [Music] [Music] hey we're on the the swing here the dragon swing I I guess you could say all four of us oh we got light light [Music] [Music] the chicken the chicken I [Music] all right we're going on the slide probably possibly The Last Ride for today you ready think so okay one [Applause] [Music] [Music] two possibly the last snack of the day my wife is going to get elephan ear and I'm going to get a [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] churo that's delicious the elephant here here at the Oregon State Fair need ice I know that the uh what Deluxe had a Whi creame or something yeah the churos on the other hand kind of bland I think they need more cinnamon on them but the Edan is the wi if that would wrap it up for us here at the Oregon State Fair once again another year success success long day shout out and thanks to the Oregon State Fair once again for having us out here inviting us out finally come here enjoy the last weekend before school guys it's definitely worth it
