How to play Georgia Time | Riley Green | Acoustic Guitar Lesson

what's up guys Cole here wants to know how to play Georgia Time by Riley green and we're going to show him right now using four easy chords it's going to sound a little something like this Spring City don't remember a sing we didn't show drunk but when I first kiss t and then the course of course you know she's all Alabama she's got a in Georgia CL guys using four easy chords here let's get into this we got a g I'm going to show you exactly the way I was playing where I was playing this G was bottom two strings of the third fret locked in with a pink and index middle finger top string Point finger fifth string here for your G straight to the D next this is also the chord progression I'm just lifting my pinky up here keeping this index on that second string of the third fret middle finger is going to the bottom string Point finger comes to the third string here for your D bottom four strings but on these country songs and you're beginner it's TR all it's all good pinky comes back down going to the E where you press the fourth and fifth string here of the second fret if you're keeping these two fingers locked in that's fine if not just press the fourth and fifth string of the second fret here for your e if you do decide to keep these two fingers locked in for your e it's going to make your C add 9 even easier so you're just going from here to Fourth string of the second fret and fifth string here of the third fret these two fingers locked in on the bottom two strings of the third fret for your C9 mutant the top string with the tip of the middle finger C A9 so there you go guys g d e or E however you want to play it and then C A9 so g e e or E and then C9 and that's the chord progession for the song now this is just how I play it you can Wing this but to give it that little Riley green cuz it's it's also got an electric in the background the original song does so give it that little I like to do this from that G chord every time pluck any two strings you want to preferably the top one and then the third second or fourth string so it'll sound something like this one 2 only on the G chord so it gives it that so spring so if you're starting at the top it be so I'm giving that g two [Music] plugs we if you're super beginner one strum spring break down in P City it was 200 something spring break down in pan City it was 200 something don't remember a single bar that we didn't show drun so and this is the build up you can play the ci9 but I prefer the stand she C shape which is second string of the first fret fourth string of the second fret and then fifth string of the third fret but you're going to let them all ring out even this top string into a d now if you don't want to do that you can keep the C shape here so and go back to the G she's all Alabama she's got in the Georgia Clay same thing guys same chord progression goes g d p C Georgia time really simple song add that little G I think that little two plug on two strings of the G before you hit it sounds really good she's all Alabama she's gotu in the Georgia CL told me she's from I d b [Music] e see [Music] n Cole man thanks for the comment thanks for the love brother that's Georgia Time by Riley green hey Cole appreciate you big dog everybody have a great week thanks for watching please hit the Subscribe button like share comment and uh until next time I'm Alec with campfire Acoustics check that out that's my Dustin porier shirt man good fight Foundation anyway love you guys Georgia time Riley Green Let's Get It campfire couses I'm out I'm out peace
