RX UFC Vegas 96 Recap

yo yo RX back with another recap of UFC Vegas 96 barello versus caner we back with another recap of a card that was good got I enjoyed it um I thought it was a fine card I didn't really have many issues with it maybe two and that's about it I thought the card was fine um for an apex card it was really above average in my opinion I don't know it was not bad I enjoyed it again I I can it's rare that I can walk out of an apex card pretty satisfied um the fights were good the finishers were good the like for an apex card a late one at that it was fine I I thought it was fine above average and I enjoyed it so can't really complain um got some nice highlights got two fight of the Year contenders so we had a k of the Year Contender to five of the Year contenders and just some good moments so I'm happy and that's about all I can say um what I'm also what what else I can say is um [ __ ] I'm kind of losing my train of thought before I get into recap please like comment subscribe 100 Subs go by the end of the year and unless I'm begin to say something I'm pretty much talk about the carard that's all decent and I thought that' be good and outside of a few moments it was I enjoyed it I we got some really good moments on it and about all I can really say about it without going in depth on the fights so uh unless I'm forgetting to say something which I don't believe I am no I don't think so you ready to recap some fights cuz I know I am let's do it 11 fights I know that does seem a little off from the breakdown cuz I did break down 12 but we did lose a flight um at the beginning of the card we did lose zga Mones versus n Fletcher from the card which is a shame uh Fletcher was having medical issues and the fight got cancelled not long before it even meant to happen which sucks but the good part of it is it it already is rebooked for Burns and Brady in two weeks so that's cool happy happy I got re rebooked very quickly and and we won't have to wait long to finally see it happen so some some good some good news and the bad news so yeah just wanted to update that since that is a fight I broke down and that is a fight we did lose sadly that's why we are down a fight overall but we still had 11 fights and I would say about nine of them delivered so you ready to break them down I know I am let's do it five pre Wills still pretty good let's begin in the woman's flyweight division as we begin with maybe the holy [ __ ] moment of the night one of the craziest Kos of the year as we began the night with Kong Wang versus Victoria Leonardo wow that's the only thing I can say wow that's one way to be in a car um wow where do I begin uh it was like well as you see it was only a minute and two seconds because not really much happened uh they they had a small feeling out process and eventually Kong landed the most beautiful one two you'll see and knocked Leonardo out cold and I mean out cold it was vicious and it was was a holy [ __ ] moment I I know I said holy [ __ ] like I I expected Kong to look good here get a win a first round finish no less Sho my lock of the night no surprise I was not expecting that I was expecting maybe like a body shot or like maybe some ground and pound some something like you usually see I was not expecting a flat out drop dead knockout smelling salt smelling salts are needed type knockout like Jesus Christ just insane well that's how you make a debut that's how you make a debut not like I'm not really sure what else to say that's how you make a debut if you maybe the debut of the year I'm like maybe I would have to look back in on the year and think about some other debuts but I don't know what else could top that I don't know what else could like the main one coming to mind is MVP but that was a three round decision against Kevin Allen that was not a Flatout murder so I don't know I don't know I I'm I'm still speechless talking about it right now it was just that impressive and wow I think just holy [ __ ] and wow are the main things I could say so that's the main thing I'll say so can't really say much else it was a one minute 2 second fight so I guess to recap for the fight overall is over now let's talk about the fighters got tyo Kong first holy [ __ ] [ __ ] she's good she's a problem to you see just sign themselves a [ __ ] problem she's going to be a problem she's only 32 years old I believe she's [ __ ] tall for the weight class she has power she's good everywhere she's good she's not someone who's like never fought into a second round she has two wins in every way you can win a fight UFC you just signed yourself a legit [ __ ] problem like I think you already kind of predicted she was going to be decent since she has a win over Valentin on kickboxing 9 years ago but I don't think anyone expected her to be this good I know I didn't and I thought she was going to be like really [ __ ] good I did not expect her to be this good like wow that's all I can really think is wow just get her in the rankings get her a rankings fight immediately I know she did call out Casey O'Neal watch your [ __ ] mouth but get her rankings fight immediately like put her on that [ __ ] card in China later in the year main card against a ranked fighter she deserves it she like how the [ __ ] do you not the debut of the year and I don't know what else to say just wow like the only [ __ ] critique you can have it is it was against Victoria Leonardo which is a [ __ ] weak [ __ ] critique and even if you want use that she's looked the best against Leonardo than her than Leonardo's other losses quickest finish and most Flawless Victory but so so she's did better than Manan pharaoh and Natalia Silva come on Kong's a [ __ ] problem and get her in rankings that's all I can think for Victoria Leonardo I almost feel bad for her cuz like yeah she's not good but how the [ __ ] is she meant to be good I think I S the same thing in the breakdown look at her [ __ ] losses Manan got Natalia and Kong fighting for the boat next really good probably going to win the boat soon and probably our top Contender like the U gave her no easy fights and the one easy fight they did give her she [ __ ] won so what do you really want her to do like no she's not the most talented but how could anyone be when you're fighting Natalia Silva Manan pharaoh and [ __ ] Kong Wang within five fights so I don't know just impressive just just impressive her strength of schedule and again I almost feel bad for her but I guess kind of feel bad in fighting there's no easy fights and Leonardo learned that the heart away so probably time to cut her she is 1 and4 in the UFC um all her losses by knockout and just got starched in a minute so I think you probably cut her maybe you give her one more fight since she has been fighting a Murderers Row maybe you finally give her a easy fight after getting murdered but uh yeah I think you probably cut her 34 years old not the most active anyway and have really done nothing in impressive in UFC then just get put on highlight reels so yeah I think you probably cutter but again if if you want to give her one more fight go ahead I say she's gone so I don't know now to talk about the fight idea for Kong Wang again I think you get her in the rankings like you don't have a por like that and don't get [ __ ] A ranked fight in my opinion the one one problem is all the people who are unbooked or who are booked or all the people in the rankings right now are booked the only one unbooked is funny enough Casey but they're not doing that everyone else booked booked well actually Cortez is not booked but they would never feed CES to someone so like I guess that only fight I'm down here fight Caitlyn uh shagan Samara why not like everyone else is booked and then like if just go through the rankings I don't thing makes sense booked booked the UFC would never do that booked booked booked booked you know Miss Mrs shukan you want to get fed to Kong Wayne Kong Wayne Kong Wang I think that's F you do seminar has been off for a hot ass minute not done oh she did fight Macy Barber I forgot about that yeah feed kayin shukan to her I think that makes sense be a cool man card fight and I'm down to see it I'm down to see kayin shukan get her [ __ ] head caved in by Kong wang let's do it I'm down to see that and I think Kong deserves it get her that rankings fight let's see how she does let's see how good she really is Kong Wang against kayin shukan fck it and for Victoria Leonardo like said just cutter the and in Victa about all I can really think to say but uh yeah don't really got much else to say about this fight a one minute 2 second KO I I had to Rave about it for a good amount of time but it it just wow I'm impressed and good job Kong so not very much else to say great performance great debut debut of the year and uh who should who should she fight next I like Kong versus kayin shagan I think that fight makes a lot of sense and uh think it why not why not about all I got to say about the about this fight great debut should got a Bonus got completely robbed of a bonus after that we head to our second five of the night staying with the females this time going to banam weight as we have a fight that on paper I think is the worst fight on the card and an execution is all right as we have in our second fight jackol Cav keante versus Joan nun again this fight was fine no no fight really not a fight really going to remember much but it was decent um for three round cavanti pretty much did what I think a lot of people expect her to do and just circle around the cage and win which she pretty much did it it's to the long story short of the fight with Jack uh kavak he was circling around the cage [ __ ] keeping out range fighting very well and J Nunes was pretty much a throwing [ __ ] bombs praying she could actually Land one and she rare barely did so no I have no idea what R mccar he watched but good good on him I guess um there's no chance in hell nunas won this fight let alone 327 like I gave nunas I think it was around two but but that was just me being nice and it was a very close round I guess probably the closest round the fight round one and three were pure Domination by cavanti and it was at the worst a 29 a clear 29 28 for caval County so I don't know judging is somehow getting worse by the [ __ ] week and I don't know I don't really know what to say I I don't know how it's getting shiter by the week but it is so it it's insane to me but what is not insane is a perfect prediction cavanti fought well on the outside and was just the better fighter so not very much to say very predictable fight uh if you saw this fight was going go any other way I'm not really sure what you saw was going to happen do you think nunz was going to get a knockout and your push your your I think being very generous did you think nunz was going to win a decision not really sure how you saw that would happen how badly she fight so it's kind of a clear fight to predict and I think most people predict it pretty much on notes and again I'm not sure what this 43% was thinking I just I don't know I I really just don't know but um I'm not trying to be like [ __ ] Mr genius I did get picks wrong on the card but I did call some nice picks so not really sure what else you want me to say but uh yeah pretty simple fight to predict and not an amazing fight but not not something you [ __ ] will hate to watch so yeah to talk about each fighter real quick calan another nice performance in the UFC now 2 and 0 she's good uh is she the most exciting no is she the most talented no she's she's decent she's a perfectly fine fighter she's 26 years old very young very young to her career no less only her eth career fight so she's she's a decent fighter uh really good kickboxing very good uh ability to fight out range good cardio she's a she's a perfectly fine fighter like I'm not really sure what uh what weakness are even point out in her game right now her cardio seems good her kickboxing and fight IQ is good her I I'm trying to think have we seen her ground game I don't think we have so who knows if she can grapple but I'm guessing she can grapple a little bit she's a perfectly fine fighter so about about all I can really think to say so do I think she's going to make waves in the division no and that's coming in a division that I think is weaker than [ __ ] paper so I just don't think she's that good I don't think she's good enough to make waves right now but I think she's like [ __ ] I think she's F fine to be a top 15 fighter or woman's band we but like let's be honest do I don't see her doing much else like kind of kind of like Julia Ali Aela Chelsea Chandler she's kind of just going to float around that bottom tier of the rankings for a while unless unless she just gets really good out of nowhere but right now I think she's just sub par she can win fights against I think pretty bad Fighters but I I don't know how she does against good Fighters like her best career win at the moment is [ __ ] I believe yeah nor canoli who is very good but that's that's not an amazing win so yeah but I don't know Cowan's decent young and maybe she'll get better looked good here in her return after after a year or so about all I can really say and then for Josie Nunes she's just not good like she has a funny meme for a little bit but let's be honest is she good [ __ ] no she's terrible like she's on Dr with none of the talent so like I I don't know she's just on Dr with none of the [ __ ] town of Andra she has the power but shot selection shitty fight IQ shitty [ __ ] the knowledge of knowing how to fight right at this height shitty like all she did in this fight was wing Wild shots for 15 minutes and pretty much Miss so she's just not that good she's just not that good and yeah she wenton on a three fight winning three against cans like literally none of her wins are in the UFC right now all three of the fighters she beat are gone gone and gone so take that for what you will she's not a good fighter and I really think she benefits by moving down in moving down weight classes she's not tall she like even I think like she just can't really fight a band weight even [ __ ] just KRA couldn't fight a band weight she's just too [ __ ] small it's that simple you can't fight at ban weight at [ __ ] 525 one5 ft you're just going to be outside doesn't matter how talented you are that's why they have smaller weight class for smaller Fighters so even like said even just KRA could fight a BW I think she had like one or two fights of bar weight she [ __ ] lost them she's two outsized yeah you weigh the same but height-wise you're smaller powerwise you're smaller so you I I just think nunz has to move down go to flyweight [ __ ] go fight people closer to your height and see what happens so I don't know I I I just think that was I just think that would make the most sense for her do I think she'll do that no but that's what she should do in my opinion she should just move down and give it a chance but if not good luck just not good enough to you just can't fight at 135 that simple only thing left to say now unless I'm forgetting something is who should fight next for Jacqueline cavanti I don't really know if there a fight for in the rankings at the moment because uh like I guess Chelsea chanler if you want to do that fight but I think Chandler should fight aera like I guess if you want to give her konad but I think Keon should get cut gdr was booked Misha tape what I doubt that would happen so probably someone um outside the top 15 like someone alongside her which has a couple names that kind of fit that building so just got to find the right opponent uh like Lola would be decent like one like just that one more win like actually Lola would be kind of perfect there both two and 0 um I guess even Melissa wouldn't be a terrible idea so I probably would say Liss boa both two and0 UFC both coming off nice wins so probably tyana is the tyana I didn't really look at her uh yeah tinara Lis boa probably makes most sense unless they do give her like Chelsea Chandler Julia Avila but I don't really see the point in those fights uh I just don't really like those fights for C count yet either so I think I'm going to go with uh L booa I think that's a decent fight for her and I'm not reallying anyone else if a doll makes no sense arena is suspend God is the only other one you can make a case for and I love it um Edwards makes no sense so yeah I'll go L booa both 2-0 in the UFC both very good and let's see who wins I'm down to see that the winner gets a [ __ ] rankings fight and we go from there so I'm down to see a book it and for Jos nunas I again can I say move down to flyweight and see what happens give her who's someone awful at flyweight uh I don't [ __ ] know ins her name here give her like the bottom of the barrel at flyweight like I don't know Marik man that might be a straw weight but just an idea so I don't know but uh and if she say that F if she stay at band weight I don't know what the [ __ ] she does it's just a bad idea so yeah not very much I'll say fine fight nothing special and um it happened it was decent nothing you're going to remember but nothing you're going to hate only thing left to say is who should they fight next I like jacine calti versus tinara Lisboa I think that's a very good fight both two and0 in the UFC let's see who gets to win number three and gets in the rankings and for Joie I think she needs to move down flyweight makes the most sense be her best career move and uh might be what saves her career so yeah not much El say calti and the spa sounds like a good fight so let's do that and uh overall good performance by cavanti to go to and0 the Octagon after that we head to our third five of the night and the men's well of course in the men's in the lightweight division a fight I had no [ __ ] expense exp I had no faith in going 15 minutes but it did somehow and then our third five of the night our first man's five of the night we had veslav borov versus James lantop this was just a kickboxing match for 15 minutes to give you the long and short of it it was good it was good again I had no I'm facing this going 15 minutes but it somehow did it was a fun 15 minutes again it was a kickboxing match that's a long and short of it in my opinion so it was good it was good not really much else I can really say uh talk about the fight real quick for 15 well for 10 minutes laava Claus kind of just easily beat lantop in the kickboxing match the most memorable moment was laop's eye poke where he tried to finish the fight but because Chris Ty Yoni is slower than [ __ ] and [ __ ] could not get to them the fighters quick enough but besides that Slava Claus was clearly up 20 going into the third and then L on top did win round three but it was too little too late in my opinion and went to decision judges agre two of the judges agreed with me the other one I think's a [ __ ] psychopath and Slava Claus wins his first fight in UFC not by knockout so yeah the judges got it right I don't know what Eric colon was watching in round one but whatever good for you man you're an idiot the other two got a right and thank God I'm actually like one thing I will say I'm actually [ __ ] amazed there's not a robbery on this card because these judges were on [ __ ] crack all night so thank God there was no robbery they were on some Next Level stupid [ __ ] but uh yeah they did get right saava got the win as he should in a pretty much kickboxing match so about all I can really say um it was fine same thing same thing I'll say about caval County fight caval County fight it was perfectly fine not the worst fight I've ever seen not the best fight I've ever seen will I remember it in a couple days no it was fine to talk about each fighter real quick cuz there's not really much to say for Salva Claus good win good way to get back on track was it like I don't know is is he back I don't know about that did he look improved I don't know oh he just had a kickboxing match so we didn't we really didn't get to see is his grappling better we have no idea is his cardio better I guess not really he did lose round three because he did kind of tire out like he took some big punches I'll give him that so Chase Hooper did better than little on top and uh yeah it was just like you're just not going to beat Slava in a kickboxing match it's that simple and Lon top learned that the hard way by losing to Slava in a kickboxing match like I don't know what you really expect to happen you're just not going to beat Slava Claus in the kickboxing match that simple like he's a very very very good kickboxer we all know that that the one thing we know about Slava like we know he can't [ __ ] grapple for [ __ ] but we know in a striking in a striking match he's going to win so yeah just that simple do I like I said I don't think he's that great of a fighter but when when you just fight his fight on the feet you will probably lose so yeah to Ty's opponent James laop he's terrible it's that simple he's a terrible fighter will he get another UFC fight probably uh would I give him another UFC fight [ __ ] no I think he's terrible but um yeah uh if they want to give him another fight sure he can lose one more if he would have got finished I would I would say cut him but since he did have a fun fight and did go 15 minutes sure give him one more fight but I still think think he's trash and I really don't know why Dana signed this guy he he's proven I said he sucked at Contender series some people gave me a little bit of [ __ ] backlash and slowly but surely I'm proven right again I I know I see garbage I know garbage when I see it simple only thing left to say now is who should they fight next for Slava Claus Bev there's some good fight from just book him in bangers don't give him [ __ ] Grapplers just book him in fun striking matches it's that simple if you want the most out of salava cloth you book him in bangers uh bokei would be fun Tom noan would be fun that would be interesting I would be really down to see that K Hal I don't know about that Francisco pra would be fun ruy and that might go bad I don't mind a Tom Nolan fight J Jamie Malarkey would be really fun actually like [ __ ] but do I really got try and kill Jamie again uh Terrence McKinny would be [ __ ] mental you know Terence McKinny and Slava Claus just screams fun I might say that you know what let's do it Slava Claus and Terrence McKinny that just screams a a knockout and B a banger I I don't think their teammates sort training Partners or whatever do it teren McKinny Slava Claus borchev who says no that's an amazing fight that's ending in a finish probably sign me the [ __ ] up Terrence mckenny and VAV borchev book it ASAP put it in a crow in front of a crowd amazing not very much else to say uh fine fight nothing special just a kickboxing match and Slava Claus will never lose that so yeah not very much else to say besides who should they fight next I love the idea Slava Claus versus Terence McKinna Banger Banger Banger and Banger b it can't say much else I I I just gave the UFC the best idea possible so let's get it booked can't think of much else to say fine fight L on Top's trash good one for Slava always happy to see Slava win after that we go to our fourth fight of the night not going to waste time on this garbage cuz this is just [ __ ] pathetic as in our four fight of the night we go to middleweight for the first time of four fights as we have Zack ree versus Jose Medina I'm not going to waste your time Jose Medina's a pathetic excuse for a fighter he's not even a fighter he's just a [ __ ] punching bag um yeah Zachary beat the [ __ ] out of him for 15 minutes no shocker not I don't know what else you want me to say he beat the sh out of a punching back for 15 minutes I'm not going to waste time Zach uh Jose Medina's garbage cut him immediately Dana you [ __ ] up here the dude yeah the dude's tough he doesn't do [ __ ] else besides just be tough he don't fight he can't fight he's a walking heavy bag cut him if you give him another fight you're [ __ ] stupid he's garbage you know it we know it and we just saw it proven again here he's ass and talking about Zack Reese this is a good spar session for him showed he could go three rounds his cardio looked decent he R in gas till the third round his we all know his striking is good yeah it was a Flawless performance we and I'm happy we got to see him leave round one and go all three rounds because again he looked good so about all I can really say only thing left to say is who should they fight next um I hope they give Zach Rea like a respectable fight like I kind of feel bad for him to except since he wasted a training camp and time fighting this [ __ ] clown so hopefully they give him a fun fight next time out who um uh the drus Dumas wouldn't be terrible I guess like that's not the worst fight Michael sh check would be fun but I don't know give all J check a [ __ ] break already um C would be interesting Arman Patroon be interesting Bruno Silva would be interesting actually Bruno Sila would be pretty [ __ ] interesting um a lot of there Roman copy love would be very fun just a lot of really good [ __ ] fight ideas for Zach re and just again just give him fun fights all sha check would be fun if you want to kill him again Brunos Sila would be fun C would be fun so a lot of fun fights I'm not really sure like I really like the Bruno Sila fight um that is definitely the one maybe at the top of my [ __ ] billing right now cuz I think that's just a really entertaining fight so if we if you want to do that let's do it I'm I'm more than down to see that fight but again then you got you got someone like Christian Leroy Duncan who also would be be just fine for that so yeah not not really upset about just don't give him a [ __ ] boring Grappler don't give him [ __ ] Jacob malcun or some [ __ ] give him someone entertaining so yeah not very much else I can think to say Flawless Victory by zachar AKA ubbs he looks just like I swear to God in this [ __ ] sparring practice against a heavy bag and um yeah uh who should he fight next I guess Bruno Silva is at the top of my ideas list right now maybe that'll change tomorrow we'll see but as right now I really like the idea of him and Bruno Silva sounds like a good fight let's see it good win for zachar and kind of I feel bad he kind of wasted his time though good win nonetheless and now for the featured prelim we head to lightweight which I the right I the tap AI is wrong in the breakdown it was up away class not at 45 as in our featured prelim at lightweight on very short notice we have Francis Marshall versus Dennis bazook first thing I'll say is Danny Sila might have killed D bazuki if he didn't if that if that was the fight that still was meant to happen because holy [ __ ] bazuki is ass um not very much to say about this fight it was okay maybe the worst prelim this or well it was this was a fine fight I think caly fight was better I know the the borche fight was way better the only one that you can get debate is the Reese fight since I was just pathetic so this close I might take this over the Reese fight the Maring about it so yeah maybe this fight was still like not like this fight was bad but was just kind of it happened nothing special about it but it was fine um round one Marshall just cuddled bookia for five minutes boring as [ __ ] which by the way you want to know what made the other four fights entertaining they were not [ __ ] lame little [ __ ] who didn't know how to fight they actually like fought didn't have to cuddle interesting uh and then round two Marshall got a big knockdown early in the fight but um for the rest around he kind of just got beat up by bookia i g i don't know how you don't give bazook I don't know how you don't give Marshall that round two yeah he really didn't do [ __ ] outside the knockdown but still a giant knockdown that almost ended the fight kind hard not give him it so pretty much 20 going into round three and bookia clearly won round three but too little too late as he did lose the fight overall on two scor cards and that was that um yeah I first of all how the [ __ ] did a two judge two judges give Marshall round three when that probably the worst round the fight B how the [ __ ] did two judges give bazooki round two what the [ __ ] is wrong with judging it was a clear 2928 for Marshall the first two rounds he won and yeah like Marshall completely got bailed out by the knockdown in round two without that knockdown he loses this fight like hands down he lost this fight without that knockdown early in round two he got he would have lost 2928 losing round two and three but since he did get a giant knockdown to begin the round he got lucky I would give him that much the guy got really [ __ ] lucky hell that [ __ ] knockdown pretty much saved his UFC career because a loss here and he was getting cut so he got pretty [ __ ] lucky FR Francis Marshall better [ __ ] count his lucky [ __ ] stars because he pretty much got lucky I I don't know I don't think he's the better fighter I think he got lucky so I don't know if if that's disrespect my bad in the same breath I don't care so he got lucky not very much I say about the fight it was me they're the one it was pretty much one on a lucky knockdown so yeah uh I guess let's talk about the fighter the K skin to the Fighters I'll talk about bookia first I cannot predict this [ __ ] fights like I literally can't I'm literally 0 and four for picking his UFC fights I picked him to beat Woodson and emmer and Marshall L's I picked him to lose to Conor Matthews L it's like what the [ __ ] man so I get these this was a bad pick and then these were not it's just like dude come the [ __ ] on it's annoying after a while he's just not that great of a fighter like he's decent but he's not a world beater his striking looked fine in the in like round like after the knockdown his striking started to look really good but like he he gave up round one he got knocked down early in round two I don't know he's just not been the most impressive in the UFC and now he's one and three if he loses his next one he's probably getting cut so better win your next one man just I don't know just hard to predict hard to predict man sometimes he looks really good like the Mathew F then he looks like the Jamal ammer and the Francis Marshall fight clearly Mor Robin Ajo ain't teaching him [ __ ] where he's just not learning and talking about Francis Marshall I don't think he's that good um like yeah he got first to win in all in two years but it was against Dennis bookia and again it was by pure luck so good for him I guess uh in my opinion he's one and three in the UFC he beat William Gomez so not a bad record um he's fine he's a perfectly fine fighter can't really say anything that bad about him and um yeah good good way to get back on track I guess still young 25 years old and he looked fine here so again won by pure luck but guess that's all you need nothing I don't think I'm going to do flat idea I really don't care for Francis Marshall fights next and I don't give a [ __ ] who D bazooki fights next so yeah not really a fight idea here could care less and plus they fought up a weight class anyway so yeah not really much El to say uh fine fight end prelims nothing special but it was all right and uh yeah I I don't know why it was featured PR I think that should have been Bor but these two didn't didn't didn't have a snooze Fest they had a decent fight so I'll give that much good fight I guess but nothing special and it was won by pure luck so that was the prelims they they were good like no bad fight like you had an amazing knockout a fun fight a fun fight uh probably the worst fight on the card more I think about it and a fine fight nothing terrible but nothing great they were fine this was great the other four were fine so yeah not the best PRS I've seen not even in the Apex no less but I've seen worse and I'm not completely now let's get into the main card which was also pretty decent um some fun moments on here so unless I'm going to say I'm about to pre which I doubt I am let's get into the main card where we begin in the middleweight division with a fight that I predicted perfectly cuz I know my [ __ ] no I don't I got completely lucky and then our feature in our main card opener in the middleweight division we have gm3 Gerald mirart versus edmin shabazian I told yall I I told yall I'm not sold on Edmond is back cuz he beat some [ __ ] cans I I told y'all in round one Edmond just dominated on the feet picked picked gm3 apart as expected and that was about all all only thing to say about round one round two much of the same until he landed a vicious body shot that dropped gm3 uh landed some ground and pound but and I I'll talk about cont the small controversy was just in a second but he did land a lot of ground pound I guess he could have stopped it but that's for another conversation and eventually gm3 he did make gm3 stand up uh mirar took him back down and locked up a armed triangle choke shortly after and got the comeback win so the big controversy is should youve stopped the fight when Edmond was ground pound him yeah JM 38 yeah like Edmond landed a bunch of shots but like I think it was like 30 40 shots but most of them were blocked so like and gm3 was still in there he never got put out he was never like beat up that bad he he was just blocking a bunch of shots so I don't I could you have stopped it sure would have been a bad stoppage not the worst ever but I think I think the ref did the right thing uh Mark Smith did the right thing and let them fight on so good job good good job and that led to jam 3es comeback win taking the trophy for the most finishes in middleweight history uh passing Anderson Silva with I believe 14 now and um what a comeback what a [ __ ] comeback for the OG to get a big win and um good for him man I thought gm3 first again very good [ __ ] win um the best win he's had price since M murov oh Bruno Silva I forgot about that um he still got he like is he a great fighter [ __ ] no like is that how he's actually won so many fights SL insane since all he can do is grapple he's not he can't strike his cardio is actually decent his grapplings very good he's very onedimensional but he somehow makes it work so hard not to give him props in that regards he he makes this weird ass style that should not work and should have probably got him cut a long time ago he he wins fights and makes it work so I got to give him respect and he's an OG of the game at 38 years old oh he's only 36 my bad at 36 years old he's still able to [ __ ] beat an Edmond shabazian and [ __ ] now he's on a two fight winning streak at middleweight good for him man good for him he he has still got some left in the tank like [ __ ] three and two in his last five like since 20 since 2021 five and three overall he's doing good he's doing good and now he put himself in a position for another another decent fight after winning out the big Underdog here so good for gm3 man good for gm3 and another thing El say is [ __ ] he he with three and0 on tough finales going into this fight um as you see here that's 2-0 and then the mdof fight was on a tough finale card and now he is 4-0 so tough finale Gerald Mer's a [ __ ] problem that guy good to talk about edin shabazian um yeah this guy is complete [ __ ] failed Prospect he's not good he's not good it's that simple I I told you I was not sold on him I was not sold on Edmond is back because he beat DOA lamula and AJ Dobson two terrible Fighters like every time he's fought someone halfway decently especially a Grappler he had no no chance he looked [ __ ] terrible cuz he is terrible it's that simple he's not a good fighter he's a f he's a subpar kickboxer with no cardio [ __ ] ground game cuz it's actually non-exist in ground game and he's just he has no heart he's not a good fighter and he just screams a PFO fighter to be honest not that's not like that much of an insult he just gives the Vibes of a PFO fighter like I could see him in PFO with in like two more years only thing left to say unless I'm going to say something to begin with is who should I fight next for gm3 I think he made a perfect call out that I would love to see and that is Paul Craig I think that's an awesome fight that I would love to see and uh beside that the only other fight I could see is Andre mun another Grappler there's a lot of Grapplers in middleweight right now Bo nickel Rolo via gm3 Paul Craig Jung Young Park [ __ ] Andre mun so I I and I want to see him fight b nickel should fight rol vaa if I didn't think they should do this fight then I would love to see gm3 and b nickel but since I do think they should do rol and I think they are going to do Rolo and b nickel I think gm3 and Paul Craig's a [ __ ] perfect fight you got two dudes are pretty much the same fighter how do you not do that fight like L and they are the same fighter they both can't strike and they both are great on the ground that just screams super interesting but if Paul Craig is wants to be out for a little bit longer Andre Mone works just fine because he's also another Grappler he has more striking than Craig but it works just as well so but again perfect call out by gm3 him and Paul Craig would be a cool [ __ ] fight and I hope they do that fight because it' be really [ __ ] neat so bck it and then for Edmund they're going to feed him another can so he can get a win like [ __ ] Cody Brundage or some [ __ ] so yeah whatever not very much else to say great win for gm3 great comeback for gm3 and great way to write rewrite the history books now the most finishes in uh the division are like submissions out [ __ ] know something along those lines but uh yeah he earned it good for him and who should I fight next I like I love gm3 versus Paul Craig and Edmond versus a can is just what's going to happen so whatever gm3 and Paul Craigs just an awesome fight I I love it I love that idea I hope they book it I would love to see that fight nothing really else I can say great way to begin the main card great comeback from gm3 and uh I called it I called it after that we have to our second five the main card in the welterweight division a [ __ ] surprising [ __ ] knockout like I did not expect this as in our second five the main card we had Michael Morales versus Neil Magny just wow another Super impressive performance and this one is very impressive just in the way that he did it what a win for Michael Morales and he is back and better than ever wow um the long story short of the fight it was a pretty slow fight at first knowing know why I'm showing that like they had a feeling out process it was it was close like it was a close fight but like no one really did anything crazy and then out of nowhere like in the clinch Michael Morales throws a crazy spinning elbow drops Magny bad and just jumps on him after a little bit after some ground and pound he flattens Magny out and gets the ground and pound finish and round one was about 21 seconds left on the clock just wow you to do that to Neil magy is impressive uh you don't just drop Neil Magny like that like you don't just finish Neil Magny like that there's a very small list of people who have done that to Neil Magny and I it's impressive it's very impressive like Michael Morales took his welterweight test pretty much that's where NE Magny is and he passed with flying colors this kid is back and better than ever wow I said he shouldn't be a I said he shouldn't be a - 9900 favorite I was wrong he looked every bit of that minus oneus 900 favorite my bad um anything else you say about to fight not really so let's get into Michael Morales this kid's good this kid's [ __ ] good and again he fought the measuring stick of welterweight and he passed the test of flying colors he is just that good like this is the best he's ever looked in UFC just in general like [ __ ] the win of who it against this just the best he's looked in general he is him he is him and I'm happy he's now in the top 15 at only like 24 or 25 the dude's 25 years old and this good give him another five six years he's going to probably win a boat he's that good he's probably holding a boat soon sooner than later like he is so [ __ ] good and now he's beat three really good veterans in a row just smashing Neil Magny like it was nothing this guy's a problem I said it in the breakdown kind of as a kind of as a joke and I think it [ __ ] holds true now he is Ecuador's best chance of the champion he's a thousand times better than Cheeto ever will be or ever was so he's him he's him 25 years old he is that guy happy to have him back hopefully he fights again pretty soon hopefully he doesn't sit out another year but at the same time at his age he can do that he's not going to get worse when when you're older and you sit out you get shittier but when you are younger and you sit out you get better in a way so but as a fan I want see fight again ASAP so cuz he's that good to talk about Neil Magny it's Magny he's no [ __ ] opponent um give him I guess give it time he'll find someone just has to find again if if DFC wasn't stupid they would [ __ ] get rid of luk and Diaz and do luk a Mor but that's U's [ __ ] stupid that they're not not going to do that so yeah not really much else to say and for Neil Magny he'll go back to fighting Pro fighting [ __ ] prospects hell maybe he'll get fed to MVP you never know to get MVP back on track but he'll probably go fight another Prospect I could see him fighting rat Brian battle uh anyone like that I like actually rat's probably super likely the more I think about it so if rette beats [ __ ] the suan ruy boy like he probably will and yeah they'll probably do that fight so yeah probably what they'll do next for Neil Magny but um yeah not really much else to say good fight amazing performance by Michael Morales just just shocking how easily he got the job done and uh who should they fight next Mike Morales sadly we don't got an idea at the moment these tough fights cuz they were [ __ ] stupid the low light of the card Marin Santos is a fat [ __ ] who can't [ __ ] make weight he clearly missed weight and he had to cheat on the scales to make weight and Ryan loader's a boring [ __ ] who can't actually fight I'm not talking about this garbage probably the not probably they are the worst winners in tough history and uh what what a disgrace to tough to go from guys like Forest Nate Diaz Camaro Usman to cans like ler and Santos is disgraceful [ __ ] them the better fighter does not always win and that's shown here a cheater and a [ __ ] wrestler gross after that we go to our co- main event of the evening a [ __ ] un brawl in the woman's strawweight division I'm shocked of how great this fight was a fight of the Year Contender as we have Tabitha REI versus Angela Hill I again a five of the Year Contender and I know you're looking at this fight and thinking I'm [ __ ] high but no it L I think it was one of the best fights of the year for 15 minutes they fought as fast as [ __ ] possible and us think I'm joking I'm not they fought 15 minutes like they downed 10 Red Bulls and did 10 lines of cocaine like they fought as fast as humanly [ __ ] possible how they kept that pace up for 15 minutes I don't know but they fought faster like one of the fastest paced fights maybe ever they just they they went [ __ ] Bell to Bell not non stop and it was so [ __ ] good a great fight between two very good Fighters and it was very fun again five of the Year contender in my opinion not on the lower aelon that debate but still on the list at least to talk about how the fight actually went for the clearest round the fight was round one for tapsi she just landed the better shots and did the better work I don't know what the [ __ ] Eric colon watched uh round two was very close I leaned REI but you could I gave it to Hill just another close round where they both just went [ __ ] shot for shot and then round three Hill's best round the fight in my opinion I think she took that round pretty clearly and uh it was a close fight but an Angela Hill fight that goes to decision you know she's never getting the decision unless it's a domination and that proves to be correct like always because because REI wins a clear 2928 on all three scorecards to win I agree with Mike B and Ben carage scor card I had it 2-1 REI but if you said 21 Hill I don't hate I don't hate the idea like you could give Hilt round two and three it was very close it's either one and two reachi or two and three h I think one and two reach is a little more honest but again giving it to Hill would not be the worst decision I've ever seen so whatever way you scor it I don't think you're wrong like whatever 29 28 you give I again I don't think you're wrong like Eric cand was wrong because he gave round one to Hill and round three to Richi you got that [ __ ] backwards buddy but um yeah it was a very close fight that could have went either way and if it in angal Hill fight you know it ain't going her way so still really great fight and just a great fight overall um again fastpaced [ __ ] like two bats out of hell and they just went to war for 15 minutes again like maybe I'm trying to think of the female fight this year this probably might be the best female fight of the year like if this was in front of an arena they would have went [ __ ] bananas for 15 minutes because they just [ __ ] never slow down so they could have fought [ __ ] two more hard rounds probably [ __ ] like I Angie like started gassing but she still was [ __ ] down to swing and sang and bang and reachi gas tank which really [ __ ] good so just good two fighs with really good cardio going to war great Coan event they like I guess you could say this was questionable coing before but after I get why was the com in but enough talking about how great the fight was let's talk about the fighters um did I say everything I want to say about the fight yeah they they went as fast as possible and had a banger now let's talk about the fighters I start TSI since I'll say it she finally did what I want her to do she looked improved good job REI you finally improved her striking is the best I think it's ever looked like even the Robertson fight I think she looked better here because Robertson can't [ __ ] strike her cardio looked really [ __ ] good her ground game we didn't get to see much of it but we already know that's really good she finally looked better as a fighter and I'm so [ __ ] happy to be able to say that cuz a I like RI and B RI is a very good Prospect of a lot of [ __ ] potential and now she's finally looked improved she's been in the same fighter I think her whole [ __ ] run since going back down to her weight class this is the first time I can say I think she's gotten better like against like yeah she's had amazing proms like the pan fight like the Julian Robertson fight but then you have like the godin's fight where she looked terrible the Tia Pennington fight where she looked terrible and lost L she didn't look terrible against REI but I I think she did uh not look amazing she she's finally seeming to get to finally starting to get better and I'll give her that I said I said in the breakdown it's only been three months since her last fight do she got better striking probably not I was wrong she has got better striking that's what won her this fight pretty much she landed though she was able to land really nice shots throughout the fight and just was looking like she's the better fighter most the fight so got to give her props when they're due she she did what I asked she looked like an improved fighter and I'll give her her [ __ ] props so so good job REI finally it's I swear it's [ __ ] rare for a fighter I say should improve as a fighter to actually improve so good job taba you're one of the rare kids who actually improved crazy so so good job she she looked better and I'm proud I'm proud that she's finally improving as a fighter and talk about Angie it's Angie like I I can't say much else it's Angie she's going to win some she's going to lose some we all love Angie and that's about all I can say she looked good in this fight but again she's never going to get a close decision so it really didn't matter and um yeah it sucks to see her lose cuz it would have been cool to see her like get one more like crack out a top a top ranked fight she's probably going to lose her next fight anyway because it would would have been against a higher ranked opponent but either way it still have been cool but it kind of it's kind of fitting that Angie loses here because that's kind of been her whole career just [ __ ] like never been able to get over the hump but still able to somehow always win fight so that's Angie we all love Angie she's a [ __ ] OG I say I say a legend I don't think that's [ __ ] a woman a WMA Legend no doubt and at 39 years old she can still throw down the best of them and I'm I'm I'm happy I'm happy I feel like to day and the day Angie retires is going to be a pretty sad day for one may but I don't think that's going to be anytime soon cuz she still looks to be enjoying the job and she's still looking good so yeah not very much else I can say sucks to see or lose but Angie Angy about all I can really add so yeah uh trying to think anything else to say not really let's get into the fight ideas for tab thei where is I uh uh so she just beat number nine now on a two fight losing streak uh winning streak on paper um a probably Amanda LMO should make the most sense because ain't Marina hod rguez booked against as lucindo I I saw a few people say REI and Marina but I'm pretty sure Marina is booked yeah so yeah probably probably Amanda LMO should make a lot a [ __ ] sense um like unless she fights down but who the [ __ ] would she fight [ __ ] pin hero why so yeah probably M lamos um not really sure because like d and heos are fighting each other Marina's fighting asmin so yeah Manos that' be insane to see reach in the top five I I would love to see it and to be honest I might pick her against one MO so I would I would be down to see that man I would be very [ __ ] down to see that so I hope they do that fight lame ocean REI be a cool fight would be a pretty [ __ ] cool fight and again I would love to see REI in the top five so never know man never know if she looks like how she did tonight against lamos she might beat her and then for Angela Hill back to drawing board who could she fight uh 100 people got [ __ ] Carolina kavich battle to ogs would be cool got Julian Robertson got uh well in the rankings that's about it and then you there's a bunch of people outside the rankings that she can always [ __ ] beat which is her specialty so yeah a lot of options for angre uh we'll probably see her again sooner than later because she's always active and um yeah whoever she fights it be probably a good fight and always good to see Angie fight so yeah who who knows what's going to happen and um yeah not very much else to say only thing I'm saying is a good fight great Coan event great fight overall should have got five of the night bonus in my opinion and uh who should they fight next I like Tab thei versus Amanda lamos and Angela Hill versus is really no idea for Angie sadly got Robertson kolina Etc so whoever the UFC feels is right but uh yeah not much else to say great fight great performance by both of them and uh reachi and lamos again it'd be really cool to see reachi in the top five so we'll see if it happens either way good win for Richi in her first co-main event I the highest she's ever been on a card and uh she's improving as a fighter I'm proud I'm I'm very proud and now time for the main event of the evening a [ __ ] Banger in the middleweight division backto back bangers in the middleweight division Main Event wise so that's really cool as in our main event of UFC Vegas 96 we had a war between Kyo barello versus Jared caner what a [ __ ] War this was where do I begin um I'll recap the fight it it was a kind of not a hard fight to really score so that's one good thing we know the judges kind of [ __ ] [ __ ] themselves when it comes to anything that takes brain power in round one it was easily the like slowest and like most calm round in the fight I think Kaio took the round but it was definitely the closest round of the fight round two Jared really turned it on rocking Kyo pretty badly um and taking the round 1 round three Kyo bounc back rocking Jared pre badly close to the end of the round 21 round four it was kind of close I think it was kind of clear round for Jared uh I Had It 2 two going into the fourth or to the fifth I again I think Jared had a better round four than Kyo but I guess giv Kyo round four ain't insane and then round five um very close round until Kyo landed up [ __ ] left hand from hell that pretty much put Jared out cold on the cage but he did jump on him and try and ground and pound him out which kind of kept Jared in the fight probably would got a knockout if he didn't jump on him because I've seen a replay 100 times just in the last couple hours since the fight ended and Jared was out [ __ ] cold like stiff as a board going down though PR could got a badass walk off KO but he wanted to ground and pound on top of it and last week this this week middleweights on fire right now middleweight is truly on fire right now and um it's just added a log onto the fire an amazing fight here getting another Prospect up top in the tough [ __ ] middle getting that middleweight boat's a little harder than it has been lately BL alone he still have to I think get the title shot which who knows that's going to [ __ ] happen but he's good he's only he's young still he's only 31 he still has a lot of time left and he's just that guy that fighting nerds gym is [ __ ] insane one of the best gyms in MMA right now maybe the best gym in Jared caner like I thought like if Kyle won this fight I'd be walking out of that fight walking out of the fight sink and maybe it's time to Ty Jared nah he can still fight with the [ __ ] best of them like he can still brawl with the best of them like he went five hard round with cellio he was doing good against na imav like he can [ __ ] still go is he in his prime no can he like is he as got him in ways that I do think did affect him in this fight but not in ways where he got ran over he can still go the best of them but he he he's definitely showing SES of being 40 so but he still he still can he still can go for the best of them and again just at his two performances this year going having very close fights with two dudes a lot people riew of the future of the weight class so he's that guy he's still that guy he's still like he's a good gatekeeper he's a really good GateKeeper keeper for middleweight and he's good he's still really good so about all I can really say at this point he he's very good and again a very [ __ ] scary gatekeeper that someone his town level can be a gatekeeper is pretty crazy but um yeah not really much else to say unless I'm going to say something which I don't believe I am so let's get into fire ideas for C barello I think I think a lot of people agree with this idea and it just makes the most sense he should fight the winner of Allen imof why because at best right now you could be in the third spot in the [ __ ] title rankings because you got Strickland at number one he's in a fight Drake is who knows when you got Whitaker Hamza winner at number two and then you got number three which is whoever comes out on top between Allan e involving Kyo in my opinion so yeah like do like I think the winner of [ __ ] whoever comes out of Allen even V and Kyle should be above Rob and Hamot but that's what I think to be realistic again at best you are third place in title contention and you probably ain't getting that title shot for a long [ __ ] time till probably this time next year CU who knows when Drake is Strickland's happening who know if hot wins who [ __ ] knows when Drake is hot's happening and then who knows what [ __ ] they pull in between them etc etc so it just makes sense for Kyo to fight the winner of Alan imov been amazing main event on a flight night title Eliminator winner gets a title shot whenever and it just makes the most sense so yeah sounds good to me in my opinion and trust me I would love to see Celli versus brandan Allen that just seems like a 10 out of 10 Banger of a fight so let's [ __ ] see that man let's [ __ ] see that um yeah not very much El I can say and then for Jared caner okay he then dropped down to rankings he could fight a lot of people Paul Costa uh Michelle Pereira if he beats fluffy Hernandez so depending on what the UFC wants to do him and Costa could work since they are kind of like the old guard of the division slowly um kind of getting faded out or again you can feed him to the winner of fluffy Pier or you got [ __ ] a lot of options for caner middle like it's kind of hard to make a fighta since we know the rankings are going to change so drastically on Tuesday because Kyle's gonna jump up here Jared's gonna jump down here yada y y so yeah he Jared could fight a lot of people like that Paulo pierra uh the loser of Alan imov so many options for him so guess we have to wait and see what happens um yeah I he's the gatekeeper and actually the Costa kind of stupid since Jared is just a gatekeeper now so it makes more sense for the winner of Pier fluffy to fight Jared CU that' be a gatekeeper type of fight so probably that makes more sense but I'm not against Jared ker and Pa Costa either that'd be a badass [ __ ] fight so either way I'm down to see either one he just lost to the better Pao Costa anyway so yeah um not really much I say amazing Main Event um one of the best fights of the year another amazing middleweight main event and twit day fight next I like Cy bellio versus the winner of Allan imov and I like Jared carer versus probably the winner of fluffy Pier Kyo and Allen would be a [ __ ] Banger to see who gets a title shot and Jared versus Michelle Pereira uh or even fluffy Fernandez would be [ __ ] awesome so both amazing fights both could Main Event fight nights and um yeah not very much I to say middleweights on fire right now and you see why great way to end UFC Vegas 96 and go into a break week uh boom that's the card go over how I did on picks I went seven of 11 four perfect 500 the only two I really got wrong were Hill and pizuki I'm not counting garbage tough fights um yeah and G is never going to get a close decision and bazooki I will never get one of his fights right but still great night picks I get called a perfect [ __ ] Underdog here uh this was pretty nice I think that's predictable just a good night of picks the bonuses for the card were FES a night to Jared and Kyo fourth bonuses to Morales and gm3 I would have done two five of the kns to Jared and Angie I think they both deserved it yes I know that would never happen and I would have gave performance bonuses to Morales Mir Shar and Kong Wang how Kong Wang didn't get a bonus I'll never [ __ ] know so I would have had three performance bonuses two fights fight of the nights again I know they would never [ __ ] do something like that cuz that would cost a lot of money that Dana ain't spending so yeah good dream though always good to dream and um I guess the only thing left to say is if you missed the card what should you go back and rewatch Kong Wang for sure if you've not already seen a clip on Twitter um and then the whole main card outside the tough fights so just cut out this middle portion watch the other four fights Kyo REI Morales and G3 are all great these four are up to you I'm not saying don't watch them I'm not saying to watch them don't watch this one don't watch this one it's a waste of your time the other three that's up to you I prob probably wouldn't go back and watch him on a rewatch of the card but again if you want to see him for the first time and get your opinion on them go I say you should only watch Kong Wang gm3 Michael Morales tab the reach and KY bellia I think that the best parts of the card and those really made the card overall so about all I can really say um not very much else to say very good card some good moments Kyo REI having bangers Kong Wang Mech Morales gm3 having some great performances just a really fun card and a really fun way to go into a break week yes sadly there's no card next week and the next time you hear from me is in two weeks for a breakdown of UC Vegas 97 Burns and Brady that card's not as good as this one on paper and I doubt it will be as good as in execution so but we always got to just hope and pray right so yeah but that'll be the next time you hear from me you'll hear me break down that card Friday 1 p.m. EST and then recap on the following Sunday so um yeah you know the drill and I I I hope you do by now and um yeah not very much else I can really think to say fun card and fun way to go into a break so
