Standard it's time again for the banned restricted announcements and Magic the Gathering and despite some increased clamoring after the release of monor horizon 3 there are no new bands or changes in standard they know that this is exactly when they wanted to review standard after shifting rotation to a 3 three-year schedule and see if the format is healthier prior to the release of bloomo currently there are numerous viable strategies within standard and no one deck is running away with the format there are still control players out there so can't wait for set rotation or freshing us up a bit tracks of grand Bands unifier and night erant of AOS were both cards considered for bands but ultimately the team of wizards wants to view the format after set rotation and see what combos blurb bro shakes out for Pioneer Pioneer they also viewed the whole format as healthy but are suspicious about aalia combo I wonder if there is a specific piece in bloomo that they're waiting to see they do mention however that the ability to draw a game with aalia combo even forced to draw yourself if you're playing aalia to dive out of losing positions it's being looked at as a negative play experience across the board modern is the most recent format Modern to get a set in the form of modern Horizon's 3 natu winging wisdom has had many people asking for wizards to do something to save them from this bird but most modern decks have a way to deal with natu or can win just as quickly or faster as referenced by the creation of Ruby storm with a new raw Monsoon Mage card so far nine different deck archetypes have won Magic Online events since modern Horizon 3 was released so no bands were really needed yet no changes either in Legacy or vintage Legacy has seen many archetypes be viable with the addition of modern Horizon's 3 cards and is overall healthy on MTG Arena Alchemy is seing its metag game shifting now with more decks competing with monor red and mono black brawl saw an adjustment to matchmaking due to Nadu but so far no changes have been applied to the cards does braw get changes like Alchemy where it can be different than paper magic I've not tried it out so let me know if the comment if it works the same or if that change was actually to the Nadu card and I'm wrong historic is also seeing new Conclusion Arch types emerge Post releas in modern Horizon 3 to shake up the metag game I'm really impressed by the designers and wizards for being willing to save the course and not overreact in band cards when the format is adapting so rapidly Timeless appears to be more of the same new decks are competing for a share of the meta and old classics are still viable but not winning any more than they should lastly Explorer is going to use the same band list as Pioneer nothing's changed there so what do you think does that pesky bird natu need to have its wings clipped or are you still carrying the Pitchfork to have shap dread band one more year still with SH dread in the formats thanks for watching take care
