Jordan Mason was electric against the Jets on Monday Night Football but just how good was he well let me tell you on Mason's 28 carries where he ran for 147 yards and a touchdown he forced a league leading 13 missed tackles 96 of his yards on the day came after contact the dude is physical but he's not only physical he's fast Mason was second in the league with eight carries hitting at least 15 mph second only to Lamar Jackson who had 10 he also led the NFL with five carries that went over 10 or more yards the most impressive stat 50% of his Rush attempts were against eight or more Defenders stacked in the box which led the NFL by a wide margin in other words the Jets deliberately tried to stop the run on 50% of his Rush attempts and simply could not do it Mason and this offensive line absolutely dominated what was supposed to be an elite defense
