the speed they have on the perimeter Reese no doubt they want to come out here and test this secondary test these DBS and they know they've got the QB with the arm to get the ball there that's a great start for this offense a little pre- snap eye candy for the defense pressure coming the Freshman able to get home with the sack each play has a life and history of its own and you want to talk about two opposite plays offense grabs momentum defense takes it back and the game's always like that isn't it it's back and forth sometimes they get you sometimes you get them nice job by the defense being ready for the next play don't worry about the play before where you gave up some yards nice job answering and getting the tackle for a loss with the set third and long coming from the 27 yd line you immediately a three yd L got to give the defense credit watching film anticipating they knew that offense had this play in their back pocket they knew about the speed of this wide receiver in different ways they were going to try to get him involved everybody on defense on the same page playing together I love it defensive coordinators showing heat before the [Applause] snap Johnson wants to throw itude got some [ __ ] glitch plays you love head to watch your Feld establish and consistency the way they did there everything they dialed up is working to Perfection they go 10 plays on the and theion toing out the was not a good offense set on first down Ed the play fake now to throw hit hard just as he releas on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver it's hard throwing in incompletion on first down this offense looking at second down the play action fake they're trying to get to it the junior quarterback with [ __ ] block quarterback reacting to what the D is showing on Third and long look at they gu running into each othere C wer AF to it's I think it's really hard as a quarterback to know when to put touch on the ball when to throw that as you possibly can and right there I think I don't think he need to throw that hard I think he could have softened that up a little bit cuz he had a chance to hit the guy deep for a big play going back to the well another deep ball and that will fall incomplete as weed quter quter up a that type of [ __ ] man where I get hold on this quarter here on first from the gun the running back looking for R FES through the pile and picks up a couple down to the 16 I think a big part of this isn't necessarily scoring a touchdown on that plate but you're just trying to get your offensive line in the rhythm of the game let those Big Fellas get lathered up pre snap motion quarterback trying to get a read just missed on the connection inmet after the second down missfire looking at a third and [Applause] eight Johnson looking to throw and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down third and long everybody is pinning their ears back and coming after the quarterback you try to throw screens behind those sometimes they're very successful but this time defense played it great and the play went nowhere [Applause] DB's right up on the receiver let's go takes a hit as he releases it and just spiked it right into the ground nice job by the defense great pass defense getting in the lanes doing a really good job understanding they were going to throw the football in this fourth down they played it well in pass defense turns to offense quarterback will audible off play action on first down unloads it down field and it's caugh inside the 30ch go man scar let's go one of the Reas this is so exting to watch they've got guys that are dangerous after the catch and if this quarterback gets through his progression David H you stride these guys will take it to the house man it's your job to do the rest right you hit me in stride where I don't have to stop running I don't have to break down it makes it so easy the connection between quarterback wide receiver you can tell this is a good one and that's why they got six on that play disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 vanderbel has it back and heading out to go on the attack boy that last Drive they had a chance to put three on the board and passed this one needs to be productive David I I got no problem with oh my god dude just dropping PS and they've got the weapons to do that too David they've got guys that can make plays in space they need to focus on them and get them the ball this drive [Applause] Johnson wants to throw it fires toward the target it's caught down field and he'll have enough for the first down at the 42 yeah and you see running backs in today's football they play wide receiver basically for you but you got to find a guy that you can throw it to and you know he's going to catch the ball consistently they'll throw it on first down now he's going to Glide away from pressure still on his feet at the 45 really nice running gain and he gets down to avoid [Applause] taking ass [ __ ] bro playing with this [ __ ] ass he's looking to throw it going to try to pop one on the screen they make the stop but a good pick up there on first down love the execution there in the screen the running back shows pass protect last second turns around so he's able to get the ball the D linan have already run past him now he can turn up field for a big Gainer he's going to pass on second down looking left complete down field and he gets it down to the four yd line before he's finally stopped a terrific R after the catch yeah and the quarterback knew exactly where he wanted to go to the football had time spins the ball deep nice job by this offense understanding what the defense has given him and creating the explosive play he's looking to pass fires and picked off let's go the 50 at the and it's going to be a pi six touchdown dude you're just thinking hold him to three make him kick a field goal don't let him score points heck no you turn it into offense what a play Vander has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense that last pick six after a drive like that David can swing the momentum of a game the defense is still celebrating I mean such a big play I mean they they gave up some yards but did what they're supposed to do now Jesse this offense has to put a dve again yeah they have to recapture some momentum here what they can't do is go three and out give the ball right back last incompletion leaves them still sitting at their own with second and 10 they'll run the screen he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage timeout call by the defense it's their first of the half as they'll make some adjustments they come to the line facing third and long from the [Applause] 25 trying play action throws to the wide out got him downfield it's a first down they'll stop the clock to reset the chains offense Up Tempo wow and what a great job by that quarterback finding his open receiver on third down you know guys one of the most telling stats at the end of the game is third down conversion percentage if you're a great third down team it's in valuable to your offensive success that's why teams drill third down so much in practice and that goes down as incompletion but that's a smart play and the QB coach and the OC will be very happy with the decision of the quarterback he got outside the pocket he obviously so he's outside The Tackle Box as he knew he could throw it away as long as he got it past the line of scrimmage nothing there nothing open Live to fight another down shoots it to the left and he almost ran away from everybody on that huge pick up on that play timeout is called offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half wide receiver now comes in [Applause] motion Johnson looking to throw look that [Applause] [ __ ] finally got knocked down here's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half inside the 15 first and 10 from the [Applause] 14 and to the end zone and the ball's on the ground and the defense snatches it and they reverse the field go and how about the defense here often times in these two-minute type situations you're just sort of in this prevent mode you're trying to force the opponent to kick a field goal and not score a touchdown but they're still being aggressive they're out there still trying to make plays and how about that effort creating the take just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime and they drag him down but not before he picks up the first down we've got a timeout in the waning seconds of the half maybe a chance to get off a couple more plays long way to go for this offense first and 10 from their own 12 quarterback changing the plays at the line off the play fake on first down showing the arm strength down the left side pass BS incomplete and there are still three seconds left you know as an offense you just don't get that many great opportunities in games to hit these type of Big Time plays when plays like that present themselves and receivers are open as a quarterback you have got to make that throw one more snap coming before half time second and 10 he'll throw again looking down the middle pass is incomplet and take we'll take that good ball first two ass [ __ ] go ahead and roll the DI to start they lined up for come on come on EA please don't hold face third down the offensive line has got to give him at least a little bit of time to survey the field he had no chance that time getting hit almost immediately he got the ball couldn't find his man last time that leaves him with a third and six from the gun wants to [Applause] pass pulls it in it's backer and he's not going to get there the defense stands and makes the stop now on fourth down they'll send out the field go unit looks as if this will be a 51 yd attempt and he missed it good and the margin remains at seven after the Miss vanderbel has it back and heading out to go on the attack quick touch pass to the receiver and this one will be stopped for no gain and here comes the offense on second [Applause] down he's looking to throw [Applause] left they connection third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doy if they can pull it [Applause] off Johnson wants to throw it the sweet feet keeping the Play Alive man what's up with that glitch [ __ ] bro it's a glitch oh it's a glitch play how about offense setting that play up we've seen earlier in the game a couple shorter throws just trying to sa closer to the line of scage anticipating that they will get opport toit playo and I know it is perfect time right there well the most insightful analysis I can come up with on that one is that didn't work back to the drawing board to see if there's something that works a little better soon I don't know if I can quote the great Reese Davis that was very UNG good not a productive look at that [ __ ] man yd he Wasing that down at the four after the big pass Play What a Beautiful throw and catch on this play and I love the job the receiver did tracking the ball in the air nice job of locating the throw and then hauling it in they'll use the running game on first and goal nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming [Applause] he's looking to throw that pass is incomplete and they're probably fortunate that it was it knock free for a fumble they've gotten push back but it's still third and goal here's a good example of how pressure on the quarterback can affect his accuracy there was no way that ball was being completed third and goal and they'll try to pass it in he makes a grab takes it to the house now Vander now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic and the extra point was good no incident there and we are tied up in the third an impressive 66 yd touchdown drive not fin off with an yd for the [Applause] score he'll bring it out it's baling gets it across the 20 to the 21 not quite what he would have picked up just taking the touch [Applause] back and here come the horns they've got it again on offense we talk about settling for points but sometimes when you have to settle for nothing David it can be demoralizing yeah and it can definitely be frustrating and I think it leads you to say maybe I go for it more but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish Stronger Yeah and and be a little bit less predictable too especially as they get closer and closer down to the end zone you look to be backed up and then suddenly you're not big play has them across the 50 they'll have it first and 10 here's the hand off and I think they'll give him two on that one second and eight coming up [Applause] the we'll get this quarter going with a second down play now the quarterback changing the original play call looking to throw it's [Applause] yers he fires a bullet to the right and they wanted it all on that incomplete pass instead they're looking at third down I think when you go through these progressions as a quarterback you want to find the right guy to throw to obviously I just I didn't think he was the right guy I didn't think he was really that open he sailed and he over but I might have surveyed the middle of the field to probably need to pick up a few yard from here it will be a 62 yd attempt he's not afraid to go deep and he get the [ __ ] out that cover three you ho ass [ __ ] get the and I love the wheel route I love calling it because most of the time I'm going to get my running back who's a fast athlete in space against a linebacker or somebody who can't catch him nice play design nice job throwing it out in front of him he does the rest gets in for the touchdown he'll call for the catch here vanderbeld has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense that last Drive absolute aerial assault for the touchdown Jesse it was a nice job in play calling too David just giving the quarterback some easy looks and read so he could go out and execute and he knew exactly where to go with the football everything looked really really easy he was hot the ball was coming out of his hands the defense better do something different and the defense is playing with a sense of urgency right now obviously they're playing with the lead they know this offense needs to find a way to generate points expecting a shot on that last play so nice job in coverage [Applause] he'll try it again on second and 10 just masterful working that sideline and getting the tow down for the catch and these quarterbacks have to really trust their wide receivers that they're going to be disciplined and run to the right route when they're throwing that ball to the outside like that because those Corners are sitting there on the inside the worst to miss inside that corter the other direction Nice Shot finding a crease to go get that first and Dave there's just some running backs out there that feel like they have that SI sense they just know where the marker is they know where that first down marker is and they're just able to find a way to fall for and I love when they don't dance know the situation right don't bounce things that don't need to be bounced thank you tra intercepted God on the return good and a sensational return finally stop him inside the 15 how about the how about the athletic ability by the big fella you know you got those big linebackers in there used to taking on fulls and offensive line the whole game he understands for got have a 50 yd run at you trying toic of football you got to better job of ball secure couldn't ask for better field position for this offense Johnson looking to throw coming after it firing to the right complete out the back [ __ ] cheating me man downhill anymore you got to be versatile I got to be able to trust you in the pass game and I got to be able to throw you the football and you can do that right there I know you're going to catch it and I can depend on it wi out in motion quick pass on the Fly motion give him six touchdown quick strike to expected and quick strikes are easy when you got such great field position obviously when the off starts spots the defense in a bad and the off takes advantage ling up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive it in the end zone it's pull down at the 18 and the decision to bring it out of the end zone was not a good one first down here for the offense quarterback checking off coming out on first down with the play fake he's going to take a shot right away and he reels it in inside the 30 touchdown long [ __ ] up made the grab and finish the In The End Zone how about that quarterback taking the shot down field and delivering to the wide open receiver I love this quarterback re because he's aggressive he wants to take shots he's looking for every opportunity to show off that Cannon and that arm Talent he showed it to all of us right there and he passes on the touch come on y'all we go to take a knee as he stopped at the 14 let's go vanderbeld has it back and heading out to go on the attack Jesse looking to take it down the field for backto back touchdowns I think it's really important for them moving forward too to have a lot of balance right you want to be able to keep this defense guessing yeah and you got me searching for answers dri you stack another drive on top of this their defense's heads are going to be spinning all over the oh my God it's a lot of [ __ ] going on man looking for a productive play on first used the play fake now to throw fires to the wide out oh did he find a hole in the defense and there was no question in that scenario that's where the quarterback was going he knew he had his receiver in a matchup that he liked running a route where he would find himself opening nice job between those two just a Savvy veteran productive run from this junior all right well look I know the defense was feeling real good about their run de coming into this one and how they've been playing up to this point but finally David the offense breaks through and they finally something positive on the ground and I can't tell you how easy it is when you're going to throw the ball consistently and I know it I'm going to pin my ears back and I'm going to get to the quarterback it makes life really easy on the defensive line but when you can have balance now the defense doesn't know what's coming they need more of this if they're going to be successful on offense couldn't get him blocked on that last one now it's second and [Applause] 14 Johnson wants to throw it the back can make a big play when he starts moving around and he just Chucks it into the fourth throw a nice job by the quarterback there you're outside the pocket nobody's open so you throw the ball away knowing that you still have more chances to get this first down they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one [Applause] on Third and long a check down would be the last resort and they can't hook up on the big play and that brings up a fourth down well the defender got his hand on that one tipped it up in the air and offense man they're lucky that one wasn't picked this is not leather helmet era football this is analytics around Midfield four down territory on fourth down they'll pass for it unloads to the wide out makes grab he gets it to the 31 yd line a big play for this offense that's a great example of the receiver knowing exactly where the first down marker is he got the depth he needed to get so once he was able to make the catch he already knew he had it now a fresh of Dan and they try the middle of this defense and that is not happening here comes the offense on second down he's looking throw why y'all can't [ __ ] stop that [Applause] man [ __ ] can understand that [ __ ] C you need for the routes to develop so nice job by the quarterback there being patient allowing his receivers to work themselves open from the Red Zone looking for a space buying some time headed to the end zone and he for the score TCH it's as if every play call with this guy you've got the play that's called and if that doesn't work something that might even be more dangerous how nice is that as an offensive coordinator right you know that even if what you called isn't exactly going to work this guy can just pullit the he can go backy football and just take off man this gu is why is he going so [ __ ] slow just enough time for one more the end of the quarter receivers often will run their route based on a side adjustment he HS one deep down the left side why why did you do that wide open some want to get the [ __ ] out of this game bro some [ __ ] happening to me [Applause] bro the to the back block [ __ ] what are you [Applause] doing I'll tell this is a running back who's very very dangerous def did a good job get him down there tack because this is a guy that can break tackles and turn those types of plays into home runs got three on first down it's second and [Applause] seven grabbed over the middle it's B they'll finally put the bres at the me dog and I know it I'll tell you man I love quarterbacks that have arm talent but that can throw it accurately at the same time and you saw all of it on that in R they'll run it on First andal and heing me do buit for the know it I love running backs that have the goal line understand how to get there finish strong into the end zone know I get six and then go celebrate what it and we're all square as he's set to kick it [Applause] away what kind of field position can he help him with on the return and he won't quite make it back to the 20 yd line as he goes out of Bounds at the 19 Vander has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense these two defenses have had their head spinning here in the first half and now we might even see a little more scoring with this drive it's going back and forth this is like two heavyweights just trading blows David what do this defense got to do to get a stop here I I tell you what man when you're giving up points like this and you've got no momentum you got to find somebody that can make a play to create some and listen if you're if they're scoring anyways let's be aggressive let's Blitz more let's let's make sure we're making them feel discomfort in some way shape or form Johnson looking to throw he makes the grab they're able to get him stopped just shy of the first down marker well he made the grab but the doors closed quickly after that and I like this I want to find my running back but man he's got to do a right there bro a stop nobody and pick up a bunch of yards and maybe get a big play at it the commod will have it first and 10 Ed the play fake now to throw buys a little extra time he'll try to do it himself he just out running everybody bro this nigga's out running Everybody Just Bounce any whatever defense right there very lucky that one went out of bounds and how about the efficiency on that one it'll bring up second and four I'll tell you I love the play call on first down here you're just trying to find an easy completion and the shortest throw on the field where the quarterback is finding your biggest Target and that's the tight end nice job crosses to 30 to the 29 before he stopped pick up a five on the play it's a first down quarter running back set up in the pistol fast motion from the offense quick pass on the jet motion nice solid form tackle from this sophomore the hurry up now second down clock ticking he looking to throw shot the end yeah I can't pick nothing to connect down for AIG I know that shot down the field was but you got to keep taking shots those receivers love to go deep gives them a breath of fresh air they get more excitement they're going to the quarterb with a little bit more juice because you know you're feeding them so I would keep taking deep shots down the field trying to move the sticks on third down through the air and it's picked off they didn't let him get loose for a big return but he still made the big play and they'll take over at the 17 holy that's the advantage right there of having your dime personel on the field you got an extra DB got an extra guy out there who's really good at covering so for quarterbacks you got to be so good and precise with the looking for a deep he got it the5 Lorn a you got to pick your poison man I just you got to pick your poison dog that what you got to do you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game tell you what passing uping me they took a whole possession away from me catch vanderbild has it back and heading out to go on the attack that last Drive was promising for a while but you just can't mess it up at the end with the J no you've got to be able to finish drives especially in this game if you're going to win in David they've got to be able to eliminate the metal mistakes yeah and I don't think you get conserved or played safe you can trust your guy I think you put the ball right back in his hands and let him do his thing that's got to be some glit [ __ ] manit ass [ __ ] the 48 yd line there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer some glit [ __ ] going on swear at the 4 y l on First and 10 Johnson wants to throw It Wide Open down field he will step out of bounds but not before the big KCK up and a first down for this offense nice job by the qbn receiver on this play in a two-minute situation knowing to work the get the first down and get the ball out of BS great situational awareness time dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before the half looking to go up top on first down he'll P it down got some [Applause] rooming they it in now a two-point conversion attempt coming up [Applause] yeah I'm in the cover too bro you drop all the way back all I do man and the last thing you need to do is mess it up by allowing a big kickoff return that one bouns through the end zone and it'll be a Touchback with eight seconds to go in the half wonder if they'll try to get a big play just to see what happens they'll leave it with him Fu you calling time out for you [ __ ] [ __ ] by the same call just enough time for one final play of the half back to the quarterback now he's going to break the pocket he Chucks one out to the right it's inom and they tried to get one on the board before the break and couldn't quite make the connection oh and the Longhorns will kick it off to start the second [Applause] half coming out with it it's [Applause] car he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Vander has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense if it's working why change it and that running game was working in the first half I imagine we'll see a lot more of it here in the third quarter and you just know the offensive line was telling their coordinator put this on us let us continue to go out there push these guys around we can put this game on our back and end this thing by running the ball and this is a manhood question for this defense like as a defensive lineman and you're pounding the rock pounding the rock like I got to physically rise to this challenge this defense has to play more inspired and More Physical in the second half and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no game land not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long backed up inside their 20 feeling some heat and he will be sacked at the 6yd line well this defense knew they had to get off to a fast start here in the second half they're trailing by a bunch of points right now on the scoreboard they needed to make something positive happen early and on the very first drive they get a sack on third down looking to get the ball back to their offense [Applause] here on fourth down trying to find his man and the incomplete pass they roll the dice snake [ __ ] just happened too that takes some serious onions backed up inside your own and you're going for on down no dice offense Now set up an easy position to get a score wide receiver shows motion they'll keep it on the ground for first and goal touchdown Texas and with that one they jump on top here in the second half getting aggressive here and going for [Applause] two back to throw it's yers fires to the wide out and he got a hand on it to knock it down in the end zone well head coach obviously decided it was best to go for two points right there they didn't get it and you just wonder if chasing the points is going to hurt this team later in the game bring it out it's carry he's brought down the 16 would have been much better off to take the touch back vanderbel has it back and heading out to go on the attack these last couple of drives Jesse have been about the defense making CL stand I think for this offense they can stay aggressive knowing that their defense is going to bail them out time and time again yeah and especially when you go for those fourth down situations you do that a lot of times because you defense can make stands make stops they did on that last possession for quarterback on the Move still looking got out that [ __ ] why you stop [ __ ] following him bro what up line1 first [ __ ] ass [ __ ] man s not a lot oflight get2 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine they'll Run play action he one high down the left side yeah [ __ ] yeah thought [ __ ] over nice job by this offense taking advantage of those areas a solid pick up there before the defense is able to make the stop they'll try to kick it into overdrive clock's running second down coming quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver into the house touchdown North Carolina yeah and the passing game comes through man and we need more of that in the second half an extra point away from tying this football game you triled a little bit in the first half stayed calm if this passing game can continue to heat up look out in the second half on to attempt the try hit that one with some aggression for the point after quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and it was finished off with twoy touchdown talks after that latest tied things up just about set to kick it away again for the massive explosive play instead they're looking at a third down DB does an outstanding job here on the Deep packs locating the football no Pi able to swat it away pass incomplete he's not afraid to go deep he's got it all right they'll use a timeout right before halftime maybe time for one or two more plays just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime he wants to throw he'll take another shot here Falls incomplete and he did everything perfectly except catch the football second down comes oh and that's a missed opportunity for the offense one more onto that lead and the extra point makes it seven nothing quick strike offense on that prpl scoring drive and how about that for a c a 43 y the ball squs through the end zone that'll be a touch back they'll bring it out to the 25 [Applause] the rambling wck offense rolls back onto the field to throw it's Kane oh my God heble to tack get a pretty good A nice job by the defense there tapping the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perf coverage nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do dances away to by time and he tried to string out that run but there was nowhere to turn it up field and he's forced out of bounds for a ball this is where you make the money on the drive ball at 30 it's third and short hand off from the shotgun he's able to fight his way for a couple of yard but it'll Beth down and the offense with a major gamble here going for it inside their own 40 secondary walks up on the line showing press [Applause] coverage despite failing earlier on fourth down they will try again here he'll try to throw and pick up the first down let's [Applause] [Applause] goe let's see what they can do here from a play calling standpoint to try to put some points on the board drop behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three most offensive schemes are predicated on first down productivity that will not go down as a productive first down Play No it will not reys give this defensive line credit because they were able to get penetration right off the snap and force a negative play receivers telling the quarterback what they see to the air it's yours they're trying to get to it that passes in and they might be fortunate it wasn't knock for a fumble it'll be third down doesn't take this defense a lot of time to get to the quarterback man they' got speed all over the place they hit him so quickly and because of that the ball Falls [Applause] incomplete now facing a third and [Applause] long he's looking downfield to throw fires deep toward the end zone R into traffic it's picked off takes it the other way and they capitalize not only on the but on the great return to improve this field position well that's the danger about being in a third and long situation you've got to push the football down field and the defense is expecting so they've got guys in the backend with their on the QB they're able to make the interception this offense going have to do a better job generating better plays early in drives moving forward looking left that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the stop they've been completely lethargic in this first half but finally some signs of life and we've seen it Reese throughout time throughout college football history you get that one big play momentum starts to come in and I don't know what it is it changes everything maybe that's the play they needed to finally get some points on the scoreboard before the half they'll move the running back to try to force the defense to adjust got it behind the line it's there we go and a quick completion an even quicker L the defense was right there to knock him down and here comes the offense on second down looking to throw it's Kane firers left got his he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense the yellow jackets come to the line with a new set of downs defense backing up trying to keep everything in front going to throw it to the right he's got his man and he gets it down to the four yd line before he's finally stopped a terrific R after the catch this tight end is such a weapon because he can line up all over the field that in the slot he's running the corner route against Zone coverage and he's just got athleticism and wiggle and the ability to and he takes it in for the score touchdown George attack p unit on the field and it's up and good offense will take that fre five yards every time bad discipline by the defense lining up for the pat right down the middle they put together a five play 75 yd drive and they finish it off with the score from the four and we're all square as he's set to kick it [Applause] away fielded In The End Zone it's b gets it across the 20 to the 21 and not what he would have picked up just taking the touch back a first down for the offense used the play fake now to throw he's taking the shot and this is dropped incomplete pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on now the quarterback changing the original play call looking for an open area to his left but a little time let's it go that's caught it's blue they'll get him on the ground at the 46 and it'll be a first down I love when QB break the pocket and to attack because as soon as you break the pocket I'm thinking oh man he's going to take off and run and I might come up but those big plays can be made down the field nice job by the quarterback keeping his eyes down the field looking for his man can't quite make the connection there might have him a little too much and the long horns want to move quickly to the air it's yours feeling some heat nowhere close on that one as he got drill trying to deliver the football and now they face third down he didn't have a whole lot of time to get rid of that the defense was all over him right after the snap no wonder that thing fell incomplete the offense waste no time getting the timeout call third conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off the playaction fake and the pressure gets to him down goes the quarterback timeout is called and it's the defense wanting to make sure that everyone's on the same page for this big Downs will try to to pin them back with the punt the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon catches it cleanly at the 20 really nice job all the way around got a few blocks made a couple of moves and a good return on that one before he's pushed out of bounds Georgia Tech has the ball back and here comes the Yellow Jacket offense this could be a real turning point in the game they scored a touchdown they got a stop and now a chance to break the tie yeah this off has got it [Applause] cing wi out ofs but that one and it'll be a first down if I'm a defense I got to find a way to get some more pressure on the quarterback or disrupt their timing and their Rhythm I can't give him these big chunk plays through the air I got to be maybe a little bit more aggressive or something a little bit let him get it off that's [ __ ] well this defense felt coming into the game that if he was going to try to throw from the pocket they could get to him and affect his accuracy and they did on that last play no gain on first down after the incom now second and 10 from the 40 looking for a man it's King here he goes breaking the pocket press there and he gets rid of it pass is incomplete and they're probably fortunate that it wasn't knock free for a fumble well as a quarterback when you get to the outside you know you don't have all day to throw it you got these Defenders they are coming they're running at you hard so you've got to do a better job getting the ball out quicker that hit forc the incom on Third and long trying to have a big completion here not close as he goty to bring up tell you what I don't know if the offense was expecting man coverage that time third and long in field goal range you're expecting it to be Zone instead they lock them up manto man everybody on an island everybody one they get the incompletion Now setting up for three straight misfires has left them staring at Fourth and 10 but they'll try it again he'll try to throw and pick up the first down finds his Target down the middle he's not going to get there sto on fourth down great coverage on that fourth nice job blanking the receiver out wide the def you can tell they knew they were going for it they had a game they get the big stop and turn it over to their offense coming out on first down with the play fake he lobs one high down the left side he got it he'll be stopped just to the end zone but they'll have it first and goal we've got a timeout in the waning seconds of the half maybe a chance to get off a couple more [Applause] plays just enough time to get off one final play of the [Applause] half to bully their way in he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three they'll immediately call [Applause] timeout just enough time for one final play of the half they'll run it to the left looking for the End Zone going right back to [Applause] the and how about the this coach says I'm going for we're going to put on the board time tiing down maybe be a little bit more conservative I love the way they put the hammer down now they have the lead going into the half an extra point away from a seven-point lead and the P gives him a 147 lead quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and close the deal with a watch I guess they're trying to send a message to start this second half lined up for an onside kick they were ready for the onside kick and exeed they SEC the football man how about that you come out of the locker room let go your come out now we're going to be aggressive we're going to kick an onside even though we're winning and you fail now this defense better step up and respond really nice stop there from this senior leader you know it's so important for offense is to want to keep third Downs manageable the way you do that is by having success like that running the football on first down [Applause] after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven back to pass it's and the B comes out what a God bro just getting [ __ ] hold [Applause] bro you know as quarterbacks you've got to be good in the pocket even when things are collapsing you got guys sing at it you got to have two hands on the football didn't do a really good job with ball security there and that led to the fumble they'll come out on this drive and let it rip he's right on Target open at the 25 they make the tackle but he's got a fresh set of downs and it's first and goal from the seven and as a defense how scary is it having to defend this guy he's one of the fastest players in America and you saw it on that last play it's not necessarily throwing him the ball over your head they just get it to him quickly the hard part now is running and tackling that guy not easy to [Applause] do he got it down to the three now it's second and goal quarterer and heting he'll take it that was a lightning fast drive that ends with a touchdown if you can string a few more drives like that together man we might as well get our popcorn out because we're going to get a lot of scoring all TI kick dude is [ __ ] trash too man fielded In The End Zone it's B he's brought down at the 16 would have been much better off to take the Touchback Here Comes the Texas offense that last fumble proved to be costly as they cashed it in for a touchdown yeah and so this defense now is Juiced they're excited and ready to go so this offense D they've got to get something going yeah those turnovers can be contagious man it get you excited and then when your off takes it down the field and does something with it this off better be ready to play against sh I tell you what it takes a little bit longer to develop so as a quarterback you know you got to buy a little bit of time defense gets to the quarterback the Longhorns moving quickly to the line man this defensive end is a monster when you seen his athleticism and his speed and his Bend and his flexibility he now has two sacks and there's still a lot of football to play he uncor one deep and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge game if he could have held on well these two have linked up for multiple touchdowns in this game they the look they like they licking their chops taking a shot down the field we haven't seen too many incompletions when these guys have been trying to play throwing catch on Third and long no secret what he needs here man that's pass [Applause] interference when you know it's third and long you know a pass is coming you worked on it all week get your feet set at the sticks understand that quarterback's got to be rushed get him off of his spot nice execution by this defense they're throwing for it on fourth down oh he loves to down fi and he makes theb theot down what a job for a huge game there hey man that was just perfect execution offensively a fourth down like that if you're going to throw a completion get first keep the drive alive QB's got to be great with his eyes he's got to throw it on time his target has to be in the place at the time and you got to be able to it in thees damn y [ __ ] a multiple tights you kind of have a good what's coming you don't know where the B going necessarily but they'll put bodies in there to block to move people to put more mass on the field especially once you get in this red area where you have to be able to run the football effectively those passing Windows tend to shrink a lot throws to the wide out he got and he won't be able to push his way in he stopped at the one that why receive on the outside dangerous you're playing Zone really hard because you're not chasing him you can't really get hands on him you got to make sure you send more guys his Direction maybe slide those line toward that wide receiver so you got a little more help on the outside they'll try to open the quarter by cashing in on this big opportunity deep in the Red [Applause] Zone barels Yow geted he'll bring it out it's golden really disciplined job by the coverage to down the at the offense getting set for first down quarterback checking off off the play fake on first down to throw wasting no time taking a shot and he's got it inside the touchdown Tas and he might as well start playing well there's no secret who wants to get theall to on the very first play they find one onone they take a shot vertically down the field and he does the rest he is so athletic and he is going to be a problem for this defense all game long he's brought down at the 16 would have been much better off for [Applause] on first down here comes this offense he's going to pass coming after it and the sack all the way back well it wasn't great field position to start with and it's getting worse now the defense gets a sack they're getting aggressive up the field they get to the QB and they're sending a message back to throw it's kinge using his feet to buy time and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete we're already in the first quarter but already you get the feeling this could be a long day for this QB he's already been sacked he gets hit right there on the incomplete throw they've got to find a way to do a better job up front of protecting this guy or it's going to be difficult to put up points complete downi a huge gain on that one before he ran out of bounds and he has the first down that's what's so scary about this offense they've got perimeter that can change the game in one single play and you saw it right there too much speed on the perimeter to create that explosive play he's going to take off nice run there picks up a few they force him out of bounds and I think this is important for this defense this will be a big key in the football game like I got to limit the damage from that guy CU that that's a QB that's Dynamic and and he can make so many big plays I got to string him out I got to make him to get to the sideline but I will say this I hit him at the end of the run I don't want to let him out of bounds and let him get free carries I want it to be physical trying to pick it up on the ground nice job to pick up the first down and they'll spot it at the 42 man who says you can't run up the middle anymore right everybody thinks I got to make big plays I got to go way out to the left way out to the right way out in space nope right down the middle nice blocking how about the running back you could tell the speed the wheels does a great job getting down the making a huge rushing and he'll step out of bounds after a very productive play great job by the quarterback thrown against Zone coverage you cannot Telegraph where you're throwing the football you cannot eyeball wide receiver so great job by the quarterback using his eyes not staring down his guy and then throwing him open trying to make magic with his feet he's right out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the for a first down I just love this guy's instincts right when things aren't open right away he never panics he just understands the situation where he is on the field and he's so confident in his own natural ability that he has the ability to run go get the first down keep this drive roll got enough space and he'll finish the r in the end Z touchdown Georg attack if you're able to move the ball in a drive like that the most over rated stat in football would be field position agreed and I think confidence is Big right now after that last drive to be able to flip the field like that not just do it but go down and score a touchdown running and throwing for this offense now moving forward in this game that last Drive is going to pay big div gets it out to the 20 about five y short of where he'd be if he just taking a KNE In The End Zone here come the horns they've got it again on offense boy that last touchdown the one play quick strike scored Jesse this offense hoping to keep that kind of explosiveness going I don't know if they're going to get the same looks defensively because of just how explosive that play was David they may be seeing a little bit more off coverage on this drive and maybe some box and when you make that kind of explosive play you to put the defense on it heels they're going to be a little bit more conservative so this offens approach maybe I don't have to go deep I can go a little bit shorter and just make those easy plays on they've got the defense reeling right now with that big play to the 29 the Longs racing to the line in the hurry up man this offense is so dangerous re they've got dudes all over the field that can make plays there's a big gainer in the pass game you get a chunk of yards like that now the defense is really on its heels open run head to the end Z and he Wes in for the score down long quick strike touchdown comes out and jump starts the offense man we see this in college football so much explosiveness power we get high scoring game after high scoring game it looks like we're on Pace for one of those right now about to kick it off after punching it in for the tchd coming up with it it's h not nearly as much as he' hoped when he brought it out of the end zone he'll be stopped at the [Applause] 15 time winding down in the quarter as they come to the line they'll leave it with the lone back and after the tackle we are headed to it in reverse losing yardage on that play got to give the defense credit watching film anticipating they knew that this offense had this play in their back pocket they knew about the speed of this wide receiver different ways they were going to try to get him involved everybody on defense on the same page playing together I love it wants to throw it's kaning oh they really could have used that patch their physical pass defense it brings up a fourth down this is a point where you just got to be able to focus thetic distances in this game like that third down right there when it's a good throw you got to make the catch you got to be able to make that play trying to get to it and that one Falls incomplete a huge stand by the defense and I don't know how to explain that one long the percentages are low anyways and on your side of the field that is not the way I want to create momentum or start my first half I'm not sure what they were thinking on offense head to the end zone and you race it to the house touchdown rush theame you want to continue toed this guy you can he's got for the knows how to get in there knows how to things and the extra point pushes to lead to 14 that's exactly what you want to do when you have that high field position strike quickly and they did one play and they put it on the board [Applause] and he hauls it in and everybody's on the edge of their get that up to the 32 second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning just will his way for a couple out to the 35 we've made our way to the two-minute warning and now they'll try to at least cut a little something off of this lead before the break off thepo he ended up going backwards man come on man punt that ball now hell no is oh no looking to throw on third down a beautifully placed ball to the outside and the tow drag for the big pick up and the Scarlet Knights will snap it on First and 10 from the gun they'll try to impose their running game and they try the middle of this Stout defense rise to the challenge going eight trying to escape and get it himself and he's to that first down Mar there saying he's a little bit they might want to bring out the scks and measure but it looks as if he'll be just short of the first down and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up the the running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break looking to the end zone why he do that why did you [ __ ] get off of him oh my God you jammed him you jammed when you was playing up close and you didn't send your damn safety down they got the they cut just like now you would do the exact same thing cuz your safety is not playing up close come in don't just have receivers and running backs that can make plays but your quarterback can hurt the defense throwing it and running it as well the speed the open field running ability his ability to makeig people Miss such a unique weapon in and heints to the end zone TCH Cardinal he'll try to tack on one more and it's perfect so that scoring Drive took only six plays and the Capper on that drive 10yd touchdown run all tied up and just about set to kick it away on the run from inside his own five and the coverage team able to make the tackle and here comes the Texas offense back on the field boy that last touchdown the One play quick strike scored Jesse this offense hoping to keep that he tosses one high and deep down the left side he makes the catch inside the 25 got a lot of room to the right and he takes it all the way they couldn't stop him touchdown long and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they with the passing game tell you what keep that passing game up keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers they got the a touchdown on the board now about to kick it away and hoping the defense can keep them from answering no return coming you'll call for the fair Catch [Applause] State takes over the football and the Cardinal off headed out this late in the half you're behind you'd love to create something before the break to build momentum Jesse you've also had some miscues on offense big part of why you're losing the game right now I take it into halftime make my adjusts come out ready in the second half yeah I'm going to take it in half time too but I'm trying to put some points up right here be aggressive set the tone be like Hey listen this is what you're going to get in the second half so find something really quick that you can go to looking to throw it's Kelly working that left side now he's right out of bounds not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down that was a nice pick up running the drag route and finding that quiet soft spot in the zone yeah drag routes not only work against man coverage they work against zone two if you can find the soft spot the quarterback gets it to him early he can turn up field you saw that right there he'll ride his man on the option now the pitch that play just never had a chance they knocked him down for a loss of five man what a spectacular play by that defensive end to come up with the T you see those guys get off the football so fast most these guys are 250 to 27 but they get off the ball fast low and the offensive Lin they have no chance to stop those guys as quick and as fast as they are it's hard throwing in the pocket man you got bodies and 300 lb dudes falling all over the place they're trying to hit you that time pressure got to him and it forced the incompletion on Third and long you'll need to push it down field and that pressure just engulf him a sack for this defense the defense going to stop the CLX with the timeout they want to make sure they have everybody on the same page and the Cardinals will punt this one away first time we've seen their punt team this afternoon he'll bring it back it's they'll get down and put a to this return they'll mark it at the 32 I'm dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before the half changing the plays at the line off play action on first down pass is incomplete and we dwindle down to S seconds and the offense clearly saying we want to take those deep shots we want to be aggressive and and I think that's a good strategy because makes the defense really honor what you're going to do and just missed a little bit but I wouldn't be surprised that this offense finds a way to come back to some of those deep BS looking to throw it's your he's not afraid to go deep sag it down the right side and how about that what the doctor always order an explosive play to the 40 they'll have just enough time to get one more snap before the half going up top on first [Applause] down still from the pocket fires over the middle he's strike down field they finally make the stop but that would make those half time stats look a little nicer as we head to the BR [Applause] and the Longhorns will kick it away first and we'll start the second half looks like he's going to try to return it he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 [Applause] state gets it back the offense headed to the field tight game as we start the third quarter and we'll see what type of adjustments they made at halftime and getting the ball first here I think is such a big deal like I get the first chance to make a statement to make the adjustments to create some momentum for my squad right here in the third quarter yeah I think it's so important for this offense to set the tone here early in the second half to get nice drive going build that confidence and and get your defense ready to come on out get a stop and change the complexity of this game they really got things moving on this drive second play of the drive comes from the 37 dropping back it's Kelly takes the easy one to the back he's right out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down yeah and you see running backs in today's football they play a wide receiver basically for you but you got to find a guy that you can and you know he's going to catch the ball consistently looking to move it through the air the defense wouldn't let him lose and even though it's in completion they lost yardage well there was really nowhere to go for the quarterback with that football he's just trying to check it down he his running back and the defense was there and they made the play looking to pass on second down throws to the wide out into double coverage and it's intercepted he was trying to get that return going instead he to his the 3 the defense came into this one knowing they needed to create takeways to try to gain as much momentum as they could really nice interception on that play great job with the Eyes by the there pick that up so Texas has it again and here comes the offense power football with the Run creating some space getting just enough good blocking and they've got it up to the 47 yd line the L horns are in the hurry up give to the running back oh what a spin oh the away he's got and he was on his way and they get him down at the 30 this offense is like running perfection in practice against air chunk play after chunk play and here they come again twist his way through that's about as close as you can get to that marker and it will be second and just a few breaths away from the first down here's the hand off the Longhorns will move the sticks timeout called by the defense it's their first of the half as they'll make some adjustments now inside the 20 first and 10 the 18 they'll try the run hard defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away this defense is heating up they got an interception the last possession you can tell breaking on the football really really well where the quarterback throwing it going to try to get it got another hand almost had another interception off the play fake looking deep and that pass picked off he'll try to take it back he's at the 30 after making the intercep that back to the yd line tell you what when you come out own you know just Shadow of Your Own Zone a lot of bad things can happen you want to got to get a few first downs get some space so if you pun after that point you can them a little bit deep this is the exact opposite of what happened now you set them up beautiful scoring field position already really bad play by the lining up to kick it Off full of momentum aftering that last kick off he'll take the return and try to improve the field position didn't find any crease in that kickoff and he'll be stopped at the 17 looking for productive play on first down they'll run it he'll be stopped at the 27 but picks up 10 on that one that is a statement play right away you're playing on the road the Stadium's loud and noisy you want to quiet him down run the football down the defense's throw he'll put it in play from the 27 first down they'll give it to him again he maybe gets a yard they'll Mark him at the 29 I'll tell you this is a running back who's very very dangerous and the defense did a good job getting him down there but they got to do a great job gain tackling because this is a guy that can break tackles and turn those types of play in home runs able to get a few sliding to avoid the hits well great job there by the defense because they weren't able to get him sacked right away but you saw the in the back end nor for the quarterback to throw the football didn't get the sack obviously you don't get the negative play but you also don't give up a big one you're feeling pretty good about where you are right now on the spot they were all over him nowhere to go as that third down turned into a dis he'll try to throw and pick up the first down he'll pull it down and R [ __ ] how he get away from the [ __ ] my God a they got to drop back and try to see the whole field and then see the rush coming to him but you could tell he did a really good job scrambling outside the pocket improvising making a play with his and then the first dude is trash you want to talk about making it easy for an offensive coordinator you pick upch of yard on first make that second down really really manageable it's a great job by the offense and off to Jones and they try the middle of defense and that is not happening here comes the seventh play of this opening drive they've moved it well but now facing third down from the gun wants to pass steps away that'll get the job done in move the chains are now Mark the ball at the 45 the commodor have it with a first and 10 they'll leave it with him one step w Two Step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground that's a really nice play it's impressive where it's first down the defense thinks you might be running the football you still can line up and get some movement at the point of attack and find a little free for your running back runs through a tackle he had all kinds of company as soon as he got it he had to fight his way back just to get to the line of scrimmage trying to move the sticks on third down through the air trying to escape and get it himself and there were some collisions in there the D finally stopped him short of the mar on fourth down looking to pass won't even let me it won't even let me dude you is [ __ ] ass dog dude is so ass you are ass that's all you can do this drive has been exclusively on the ground could they be setting up a shot they try to pop a run on the draw and they sniff that draw out but draw you you have to sell that pass like you going to throw the B down the field but the defensive line the defense was not fting you can tell they were ready for it got on the running back got him on the ground quick fast in a they bring him down but a solid up to put in position up a first down I want to get my running backs the ball in space as much as possible and sometimes it doesn't work on the running game but I can throw it to him I can try to create some out wide and out what why did youing that you know as quarterbacks You' got to be good in the pocket even when things are collapsing and you got guys swiping at it you got to have two hands on the football didn't do a really good job with ball security there and that led to the fum coming out aggressively and this ISE pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on that's one of those plays you're going man he probably could have made that the defense wasn't great on the but guess what it goes down as an incompletion those are one of those bullets that you got to dodge throughout a game to get the win to limit those big plays looking for a man it's your fires to the right it's G he ruins there you go they trying to hold me that a maget going back to the how in the did they keep it so after reviewing the undisputable video evidence the replay booth has decided to overturn the call first down here with time for maybe one more play till the two-minute warning it's the two-minute warning and we'll see if the offense can tack a little something extra on their lead before the break now on First and 10 from the 35 wide receiver coming across in motion using his legs it's maer and how about that interior defense stuffing the run for nothing well this is a defense that we know takes tons of Pride stopping the where it all starts and ends with them and you saw a great effort on that last play they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 he's looking to throw fires toward the end zone and swatted down by the defense to stop the scoring opportunity and I tell you what when you got a guy that is that good at dissecting your defense you better get pressure nice job by the defense hurrying him up speeding up the thought pricing on Third and long try to convert through the air he'll take another shot here and he'll H it in and take it to the end Z touchdown longor oh this is a running back who is and his catching ability really helps this offense out vertically down the field and you saw it on that play on the wheel that wasn't just a screen or a swing they got him going to the flat turning up the sideline for a touchdown he thought about bringing that out for a half second but he'll take a knee and they'll bring it to the 25 vanderville has it back and heading out to go on the attack getting late here in the first half they'll have a chance to make this a one possession game and the offensive play caller here has to really be dialed in it's important down two possessions Dave that they're able to score some points so you got to call your best stuff in this two-minute situation such a good opportunity to cut into a onore game create that momentum get some good juices going for the second half because obviously you know you built yourself a little bit of a deficit and the defense gets to the quarterback the pocket broke down and the quarterback had to take the sack really impressed by this pass rusher it's just guys winning their individual battles oneon-one up front they're able to get to the quarterback he's moving out of the pocket still on his feet at the 45 on that play and they find their way to the 36 and the commodor come to the line with a fresh set of downs to the air on first down a Shot For The End Zone what a snag by the defense not only a great but tremendous discipline by this sore to make the Line Get Set first down quick time out from the off to save uhuh going to quit here comes the offense on first down receivers telling the quarterback what they see off the play fake on first down wants to throw on the way it's picked off looking for more and the interception was enough the return made it even better as he gets it down to the 48 Y Line vanderbeld has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense running out of time here in the first half and they do have a chance to make this a one possession game and so you got to locate your best players and get them to ripped off a huge chunk play on that one as he gets the first down before he steps out of bounds that's the way you get things going a huge play and now attacking from just inside the Red Zone he's got his man there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer operating in the Red Zone here on second down Johnson looking to throw slips a tackle got enough space Oh my God a he got some [Applause] it that's a nice drive and nice physicality punching it in with the Run game and here's the thing I like where this offense is going nice job creating some momentum going into the half cutting down the lead this thing could get really exciting nice job answering the Bell right before the half bounces through the end zone it's a touch back they'll bring it out to the 25 running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break trying to find his man on first down he rifles one deep to the left fires into traffic intercepted going the other way he's got room and they get the takeway and prevent points from going up just before the end of the half we' got a timeout here late in the first half and they'll try to get more points on the board before the break just a few seconds to go here in the first half and they'll send out the field goal team and the try is no good and they couldn't cut the lead and the Longhorns will boot it away to start the second half he'll bring it out it's Bell that is a decision he will likely regret he brings it out of the end zone and he's knocked down at the [Applause] 10 Vander has it back and heading out to go on the attack those two first half turnovers really damaging and the primary reason they find themselves and down he goes back the three the commodor want to move quickly while the offense got themselves into trouble they're back in their own end it's an obvious passing situation the defense is oh it's a fumble D Scoops it up and everybody reverses fi as a defy and causing the pum trying to Surge it in and he takes it in for the score touchdown Texas the offense strikes again to extend its lead here in the second half and they got everything working how great is this you extend your lead now you get your defense back on the field great job taking advantage of the situation building on that lead about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown looks as if the returner will try and field this one really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the [Applause] 19 Vander has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game so Paul no need to pay I was just going to say David I mean this thing can quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely different and they drag him down but not before he picks up the first down well they get another big run for a first down and if you're on offense you love the way your offensive line is blocking early in this game they getting tremendous movement and they're making life pretty easy for these running backs right now creating getting just enough good blocking and they got it up to the 47 yd line 6yd pick up on first down leaves him with second and four they'll run playaction grabbed in the back field it's sters that's a really good tackle there giving up some size and still making the play guys this off is already reeling down multiple possessions really need to cash in on this drive to try to get it himself he steps out of bounds but he's got a first down on the play there's nothing more annoying defensively than this you got a guy bottled up great coverage boom he escapes out of it pulls a rabbit out of a hat next thing you know he scrambles gets a first down now I got a new set of problems I got to do that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there didn't get much on first down it's second and n Johnson wants to throw it and the defense raal the quarterback and down he goes at Midfield and the commodor racing to the line in the hurry up on Third and long doesn't need to take the check down at the 40 there he goes he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see what the call is so they'll decline the penalty pleaseed with the results of that last play they really controled the ball on this drive and the penalty gives him another first and 10 the give to the running back from the shotgun he works his way down to the 30 yd line before he stopped a gain of three got three on first down at second and seven trying play action steps away to find some room he steps out of bounds but he's got enough for a first down well two things I love by the quarterback on that play one his ability to flush outside the pocket and make a quick decision no one's open and I'm taking off and running and two get out of bounds no deep shot for the end Z and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge game if he could have held on and now on second down for this offense they give to the big fullback a solid pick up there before the defense is able to make the stop let's see what they do on third down from the gun wants to pass got out of trouble got rid of it oh the big fell almost had the interception instead it'll Beth down no sign of the punt team as they will go for it to move those chains on fourth down they're taking to the air pick off and he's brought down and this defense gets the ball back for and that's a really good job by the understanding the situation of football it's fourth down it's late in the game you got a multi possession lead take away all the Deep stuff make him Force the football send it down field and he holds it in inside the 30 touchdown long and once he found some daylight it was time to make a house call there was no mercy Ru in college football man theyve got a huge lead here in the fourth quarter they are still chucking it and they are still scoring almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown [Applause] coming out with it it's Livingston he was bold to bring that thing out of the end zone but he'll go out of Bounds at the 17 yd line vanderbeld has it back and heading out to go on the attack that last possession a prime example Jesse of how things get condensed in the Red Zone hard to throw when the windows are smaller and that's what happens down near the goal line David this quarterback here just take accountability and ownership come out here lead your offense and move on like we needed points that's something that we can harp on we'll watch the ti this week but now it's time to move on let's get another drive going Johnson looking to throw quarterback strolling away from heat and that is interception number three on the day and they'll in on him after a good return on the interception up them pass rushers bringing them DBS that's what I'm doing in this situation when I got the lead by a couple SC late in the ball game in the fourth quarter I'm going to rush the passer like crazy I'm going to put all those DBS back playing the pass that's what happen great job understanding they're going to have to take shots we get the interception this one's almost over as he releas the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance going for the big play he oh and he thought he had a chance to house him but the defense tackles him at the and the Longhorns will hustle through the line turning to the running game on first and goal they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning touchdown T and The Stomping has commenced they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point they push the lead out a little further about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and it'll come out to the 25 no attempt at a return Vanderbilt has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense not a lot to feel great about in this one Jesse but I'm sure they will try to seek out some Po and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 they come to the line hoping to get some of that yardage back from the 17 Johnson wants to throw it Wiggles free and he's left with no option he just threw it away and this is just one of those days man where everything has gone wrong right like they just haven't been in a rhythm they haven't they haven't got it going and never built the momentum this is this is one of those you learn from you try to grow from a lot of things that we're going to show in the film room that people aren't going to like but hopefully you can learn from it and do better next and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker and that's a welcome sight for this offense and this offense would have taken a lot more of that today it's been a rough day let's call a spade a spade they haven't played like we've seen them play in the past and this offense needs to find the Run game needs to hit the gas kid wide open the head and they finally make the tackle but this will be a pretty easy conversion for this offense that's a great example of the receiver knowing exactly where the first down marker is he got the depth he needed to get so once he was able to make the catch he already knew he had it now a fresh set of downs he'll get it all the way down to the eight yd line and the defense is feeling the heat hey man sometimes you get the perfect play call at the perfect time that time the defense blitzing line allowed everybody to run up field and they slip in the running back screen and behind it there was nobody there to make a tackle and this offense generates a massive play that comption has them right on the doorstep they mark it at the one trying to get everybody set with the clock still running pocket starts to collapse and the quarterback goes down all the way back at his four yd line third and goal will you separate the weak from the ch from the gun wants to pass and he runs it in for the score touchdown b and a nice touchdown continuing to fight continuing to play this one it's pretty much over down multiple possessions this late in the football game it would take a miracle but nice job by this offense continuing to fight push the ball down the field make plays at this point a comeback would take one of the biggest miracles in the history of the sportel line up for the onside kick looks as if the hands team will be able to recover the ball that one did not go well tackled in the back field for a loss of six the offense lining up for a first down play used the play fake now to throw stands in and takes the hit can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down the receivers often will run their route based on a side adjustment the give to the back they finally make the stop at the Big R there's PL to move those sticks for the first down the logs in the hurry up he's looking to throw it UNC one the pass BS incomplete and there are eight seconds left second down coming up back to pass it's yers a shot toward the end zone touchdown longor and the rout is on someone say R the clock someone say I don't need to add points but here's the thing it's your job to stop him on defense now listen the handshakes they might get a little bit interesting after this game but the off and he Ted on the extra point he try to follow that last touchdown with an onside kick few anxious moments there but the hands team true to its name as they make the grab and get the ball and after this play the cake will be baked he's going to pass looking for the end zone and is picked off for the fourth time today this is what an elite team does they know their better they go out they take the figurative sledgehammer and hit them right between the eyes and they just look good in every phase of the game if find on the coaching staff I don't know what you could ask for your guys to do better I think the challenge now for this team is going out next week and trying to play with the same type of intensity and the same level of execution Jesse it's easy to look good on the field when you look that good in your union like when you on first down now a lot of on second and four the give to the back a pick up of five March it at the 36 yd line if you're going to play Bama tough you're going to find out really early if you can handle the running game they're going to check your chin I mean they're going to come in and they're going to give you a steady di of even when they've had great quarterback play and spread the ball out it's still a physical principle they're going to make you stop the run if you can't stop it it could be a long game dropping back it's milro quarterback floating away from pressure and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete QB leaves the pocket and he scrambles out he goes to his right I love how he keeps his eyes down the field trying to make a play trying to throw the football with the Relentless Chase I love it get to the quarterback he throws an inaccurate pass because he gets whacked as he throws the football ni job chasing by the defense out of the gun the running back has it and those physical runs take a toll it might not be a big game now but down the road third fourth quarter late in the ball games they tend to turn into bigger runs third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off he's looking to throw trying to make magic with his feet he is brought down but man what a job to find some Running Room and move the chains these guys aren't human I mean they got to survey the field throw the football make deep passes and then guess what else they pull the ball down take off and make big chunks of plays on the ground it's just impossible to be on defense nowadays this Alabama offense is quicking their set up with another first down on the run it's Tes and how about the efficiency on that one it'll bring up second and four coaches always harp about staying ahead of the can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that 6yd pick up on first down leaves him with second and four wide receiver now comes in motion receiver going for the edge on the Jet Sweep a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior you got to give kudos to this defense they are well coached up how about the awareness and the ability to play with great eye discipline they located the football they located that receiver on the Jet Sweep were able to make the tackle a third down play to open up this quarter they'll go with a direct snap he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple this off moved into plus territory and they want to keep the heat on they'll go for it on fourth down Corner showing press they want to be physical here they're throwing for it onth down let's go sa and what a for this defense to turn it over on let's go listen I have no problems down but consequences that now you defense go out so you start the game trying to be aggressive defense got to get my back now first down for the offense used the play fake now to throw taking a shot on the first play and the catch and run into the end zone touchdown T climbing up to one more onto that lead and with the extra point they get the first seven of the game that's the kind of Drive everybody loves he see quarterback One Snap put it in the end zone lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive he'll bring it back from inside to SP and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next Drive [Applause] the tied offense rolls onto the field they' got it back after that last Drive stalled out and they were stopped on fourth down David yeah and they put a little bit of a drive together but Jesse they stalled on the other side of the field and they got to find a way to keep that momentum going as they get closer to the end zone I agree I I do like their mindset though and I think they need to continue being aggressive moving forward in this game scanning the field it's milro dances away from the heat B little time let it go he got a hand in there knocks it away incomplete defense were always trying to get some tips you know break on the football get a tip get it up in the air nice job by the player breaking the football and forc the incompletion it's third down now and they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning the play action fake and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete and that's a play on third down this offense just has to do a better job protecting their quarterback give them a split second more time to complete that throw but they couldn't do it though it's fourth down now and this likely the final snap the twoin warning he'll try to throw and pick up the first oh my God he got that now they've got a little room to work with they're out to the 2 with a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs they'll throw it on first down and he was hit just as he released it it falls to the turf Alabama quickly back to the line on second down looking again to throw unloads to the wide out and that pass is intercepted and he's wrapped up after return the got to and choose their spots when they want to be really aggressive and try to fits and Tight Windows great job by making a big play getting the ball back to here comes the Texas offense Jesse a very productive Drive last time wound up with a touchdown yeah mixing and matching play calling really well nice balance on that last one Dave we'll see what they can do here in this next Drive yeah and I don't expect it to be different when you put together a drive like that I would do more of the same keep the pace keep it going right back to the well that linebacker was a heat seeking missile and the he and he saw it was the ball carrier yeah great job great fi linebackers are making all the calls in the defense and understanding when I need to come through that Gap and come through with bad intentions those guys are usually 245 pounds of heat seeking missile going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down now it's picked off got some room to run he out of but not only does he get the ball back what a return to set up his offense well coming into this game this offense knew that points were going to be at of Premium if you can't score touchdowns down here in the Red Zone you at least got to come away with field goals but you can't do that if you're throwing interceptions that's just poor execution by the offense dropping back it's milro starts to scramble to the left trying to make magic on the scrambles him out of bounds after a solid pick up on the play that's a pretty good job by this defense man it's so hard to limit these quarterbacks and they're spring you out all over the field when they take off it's hard to limit the damage nice job limiting the damage and I tell you what make it physical finish those plays and try to tackle that guy make him think about running the football in the future a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half one of the things that makes this quarterback so dangerous is how accurate can when he's on the run and he's a guy that's looking to throw he's not looking to take off himself showed you that accuracy on that play to get the first steps to his left out of the pocket brought down just outside the Red Zone he moves the change it's at the 22 there's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half finally this offense starting to shake the cobwebs and get things moving it's first and 10 he wants to throw looking for the score SC and it's intercepted a turnover from the defense he go down right there but what a big to come up with that turn that's number two that's a good year for a lot of people what a day having two interceptions already I might try my hand on the other guy this guy not somebody I want to mess with the Lorn sending the offense back onto the field they've got some time to work with here Jesse and if they get a first down they might really get aggressive I'd be aggressive right out of the gate I'd be throwing for a first down if I get it then it's pedal to the medal I'm in that two-minute mode to try to score a touchdown or get a field but I do think this is a situation where you also have to understand that I have the lead going in half I've got the momentum so don't stupid here quick timeout by the defense there trying to make sure everyone has the same call got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 feet in the end zone looking to fire he's got it down the left and the tackle was made but not four that completion gets them 30 plus the offense will have to use its first timeout of the half suddenly after that last big play they're on the Move first and 10 from the 44 to throw it's yers takes a shot as he lets it Go and the pass is I keep getting hold's OPP right here before the end of the half that that really wasn't his best throw I tell you what you got to choose when you're going to zip it in there and sometimes put some air underneath [Applause] it bit he'll start this drive firing he puts a lot of air under it down the sideline in cover four and you getting burned on cover four and he eluded the defense and he'll stupid and the passing game comes through man and we need more of that in the second half an extra point away from tying this football game you Trail a little bit in the first half as [ __ ] [Music] [Applause] man from inside the chance for a good return He just about po that one for a long one but as it is he gives his team a lot of momentum with a solid return one more play before the teams head to the locker room they'll throw it on first [Applause] down under heavy pressure lets it Fly pass incoe that's going to do it for the first half ready to start the second half Alabama will kick it [Applause] off fielded In The End Zone it's B didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so now the L horns take over and they'll send out the offense first drive of the second half always fun to watch you see what type of tweaks were made at the half especially when you're locked up in a ball game like this one it's complete a huge pick up that's a beautiful pass and catch I love the job the quarterback does manipulating the defense with his he frows that safety and that allowed his receiver more room to work his round excellent Vision to find Running Room there and make a really good pick up before the defense put a stop to it motion from the offense to the ground he's got it again not a whole lot of room there three yard maybe second and seven and a lot of times you want those big plays you want those Splash plays but sometimes you're going to take some losses you're not going to run the football overly well but if you continue to run it you can at least create some balance you at least have the threat of it otherwise you're just going to abandon it and now it's just going to be a passing game after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven quarterback checking off some early movement along the offensive line and they'll walk it back so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty [Applause] here comes the offense on second [Applause] down looking to pass it's yers trying to get to him and the pressure gets to him down goes to quarterback the defense continues to have a great game both defenses played well these offenses are going to have to change something up protect their quarterbacks a little bit better even if they don't convert picking up a few would give them a decision to make on fourth down is third and long from the 45 the throw complete to the left a huge gain on that one before he ran out of bounds and he has the first down not only do you have the big gain and you sort of knock the defense back but you're also set up in the Red Zone yeah they've got this defense on their heels right now after that big play we talked about this offense being explosive now that they're in the Red Zone let's see what they dial up next wide receiver shows Motion in the red area it's Max breaks the tackle they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and if you want to bring all your tight ends in the game you know what I'm going to do I'm going to bring in more linebackers more defensive linemen get ready for the Run less speed on the field especially when you get down here in the Red Zone I feel like I can match up manto man with those tight ends in the back end nice job understanding a run was coming last play didn't go well it leaves him with second and 11 he's looking to throw lets it fly deep downfield touchdown hard and with that they've got the lead here in the second half now that's the way to bail out the rest of the team start with bad field position put together a drive anyway and very confident you can see the quarterback just had a bit of a Swagger he was like look all right we're starting deep in our own end special teams didn't help us out but we can fix that right now fellas and they went out and looked so good on that last D the ball squir through the end zone that'll be back they'll bring it out to the [Applause] 25 here comes that Alabama offense they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him and he's brought down after a nice game and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I I just I just want to get the first down understanding the situation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down Mark they've got it at the 37 it's first and 10 snap it to the back and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage [Applause] will start the quarter offense about to snap it on second down from the gun running back on the Move how about the job by this defense today they knew what they were getting into a really good running back we talked to them this week it was the main focus point of this offense stopping the Run game stopping the Run game boy have they showed up and showed out and answered that challenge and if you didn't know this was a big play the crowd is telling you a huge third down looking for space it's Hayes and the defense had it hands for but they finally wrestle him down short of the first down big moment here for the defense can you come up with one more stop you've got the lead it's four and short you're kind of in no man's land so you're them to go for it if you can get off the field right here you can win this game wide out in motion Jets sweep to the receiver at the 45 on his finally R out of bounds but he has this off rolling with a first down man this really puts your defense in a bind when you got a quarterback with that much speed it almost cuts the field in half I got to play Jet Sweep on this side you got to play quarterback on the other side and be extremely first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning fast motion from the offense they'll go to the ground defense holds their ground pick up of a yard it's at the 26 kept it on the ground on first down now back to the line leaves it with the running back really nice stop there from this senior leader everybody has to be set they have to get it off on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air they get to him as he throws that pass is well off Target he got h to throw and they can't convert on third down he'll go up top maybe a deciding play here and he sacked a big play on fourth down to stop this that play never had a chance on fourth down they trying to catch the defense off guard thrown for it but no protection quarterback didn't have an opportunity to step up and get rid of that football get the defense credit tremendous aggression there on four and here come the horns they've got it again on offense so that defense keeps the lead right where it is and a chance to build on it David yeah the defense did a great job now the offense you know what you're going to get from this defense they have to be aggressive they're trying to get the football back later in the game Jesse because they're going to be so aggressive too David you know on offense now you have a chance to break one maybe in the Run game or finding a one-on-one match up in the passing game to really pad the lead didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 wide receiver coming across in motion the handoff keep working on that car he's knocked down in the backfield he'll lose a couple timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible and the running game has gone in the wrong direction the offense tries to turn it around and go for on third down coming after him showing the arm strength down the left side here's an interception oh did they need that turn and they capitalize not only on the pi but the great return to give the off tremendous field position what a great call on defense perfect coverage for what the offense had dialed up they're able to get the pick and now they set their offense up with an opportunity to drive the field at least tie this one and a nice pick up on the run and gets down to avoid contact you know I think in this situation of the game too if I'm this guy I'm thinking the same thing right I'm throwing and getting yards and if it's not there I'm going to take this game over myself with my legs we're in the fourth quarter we've got an opportunity one possession down to get back in this thing I just got to do whatever I got to do to make that happen they'll run it in the Red Zone it's ha and they'll bring him down after a short pick up going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up a first down without getting it into the end zone back to throw it's milro quarterback extends the play and it'll be a short game but no need to take a big hit there on the scramble nice job by the defense you got to dial into your keys you got to make sure you're reading those guys up front they did a good job they saw it they pulled the trigger they knew the quarterback had it they weren't fooled strung it out did a nice job of limiting the damage with that QB Run High quarters deep in the Red Zone but they can pick up a first down without scoring third down he was running through tackles and picked up the first down and finally got knocked down it's a first down they'll stop the clock to reset the chains offense Up Tempo maybe some confusion on the snap count it's going to be a false start the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty Alabama comes to the line with a first and goal direct snap you're not getting him on the ground still on his feet they get the timeout and the clock reads three [Applause] after the really good gain on first down they'll try to finish it off on second and goal they'll try to run it in and he gets it in for the touchdown time has expired they're down by one they can send it to overtime with the kick or win it with the two how about the offense in that situation to come up so big the place is going bananas it's so hard to hear it's so hard to execute and you just put six on the board and have a chance to kick this p and tie the game and now they're going to go for two and the possible win in this crowd Rises up to try to make it t they'll go with a direct snap he is STO short conversion attemp the this game is over as the defense saves the day it's one thing to execute early in the game tight ball game right at the end you need the clutch plays these guys deliver and you can't teach that Gene you have people that that can focus in the moment or they can't great job by the team stay in Focus understanding it's a close battle win those one play at a time and then look up and then heck I got the win yeah David they just had ice in their veins and you can tell there's tremendous leers on this football team guys can step up and in the
