[APPLAUSE]
>> RKO, out of nowhere, Gunther just screwed up. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Orton versus Gunther for King of the Ring. >> Big fight feel, big fight
atmosphere here tonight in Jeddah. >> Randy up to the apron. >> Gunther with a drop
kick to the bad knee. >> And now look at Gunther
just wearing Orton down. >> RKO.
>> Ran into the cover, Gunther went to the bad knee. >> Here's the cover,
Gunther, King of the Ring. >> Well, you can officially
call him the King General. >> I'm joined by the chief content
officer of WWE, Paul Triple H Levesque. Triple H, I know it's been a long night
for you, so I do appreciate your time. I wanna address some controversy at
the conclusion of the King of the Ring tournament final between Gunther and
Randy Orton. Now, as we all know, Gunther defeated
Orton to become King of the Ring. But, in reviewing the video footage, it appeared that Orton's
shoulder might have been up. Do you have a comment on the situation? >> So live, I was out there. From my vantage point,
it was very difficult to see. I was in the ring, handed the crown
to Gunther, very happy for him. Incredible night,
what a performance they both put on. Coming back here and seeing it back,
look, I saw exactly what you saw. I saw what everybody is talking about. Didn't really even seem
controversial to me, just seemed like Randy Orton's
shoulder wasn't down. But, I'm gonna say this,
the referee's decision is final. Gunther is your King of the Ring. That being said,
especially after what I saw tonight, I certainly wanna see that again. I think Randy Orton deserves
to have another shot at that. And I think if I know
anything about Gunther, he will want to have another shot at that. To take the controversy out, to take the asterisk off of the page
where it says King of the Ring for him. I think he will want to prove beyond
a shadow of a doubt that he is better than Randy Orton. So, I think having seen Randy back here,
he's pretty banged up, both his knee and his back. I think it's going to be a moment or
two before he is ready to step back into the ring with Gunther,
but when he is, let's go. >> Thank you for your time, Triple H. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Damian priest says, >> Bring it. Gunther with a kick right to the face. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> No, no, no, says I copy off. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Gonna need more than that. >> Gunther, with a chop,
drops the champion. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And Gunther, now barking to the WWE fans. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Priest, the defiant champion. >> A moment there Priest looking
like Tyler Durden in the basement of Lou's Tavern, asking for more, no matter
how bad, no matter how ugly it gets. And Finn Balor's here to offer support. >> And Balor trying to get
Damian Priest rallying here. >> And Gunther,
look at the look on Gunther's face. >> He knows that Balor and
him are in Monday Night on Raw. >> And Gunther's well aware of
how the Judgment Day operates. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And Priest now with a south
of heaven to Gunther. Priest looking to capitalize,
crawls towards the cover. >> And Gunther trying to,
>> Hook to the leg, shoulders down. >> What the hell,
what are you doing, Finn? >> Come on! >> Finn, what are you doing? >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Gunther continuing to clutch trying to put the champion down. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Balor, looking on as Priest tries to fight back. Priest trying to fight
back out of this and Gunther,
>> [CROSSTALK] >> Shoulders down. >> Shoulders are down, Gunther and
a kick at two, Priest has got life. And again going after Balor. Here is your winner, a new world heavyweight champion Gunther. >> Gunther wins his first world
heavyweight championship. >> Arguably the best pro wrestler on
God's green earth in the year 2024. Gunther finally has
the hardware to prove it again. >> But
SummerSlam 2024 will be forever known as the implosion of
the Judgment Day as we know it. >> So, if you think what I've done with the Intercontinental Championship
is historic, just watch and see what I'm going to
do as the world heavyweight champion. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Because in this ring, I am above everybody here. I am ready and prepared for
everyone and everything. >> Now, you got your title shot at
SummerSlam because you beat me at King of the Ring. But did you really beat
me at King of the Ring? >> [APPLAUSE]
>> The people know it, I know it. Hell, even triple H knows it. Now, my shoulders weren't
flat down on the mat for the one, two, three, it's the referee's
decision that's final and I get that. I've been here long enough to know
that I need to respect that fact. But, Triple H saw the footage, and Triple H knows that there needs
to be a Gunther Orton sequel. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Triple H told the world that there would be a Gunther Orton part two. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And that's exactly why I am here tonight, I am calling that in. Now, you call yourself a living legend,
and that's just fine. You consider yourself a living legend,
and that is perfect because, my brother,
I made a career out of killing legends. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And a Bash in Berlin, I'm gonna do it again. And I'm gonna walk out of Germany, I'm gonna walk out of your home country
the new world heavyweight champion. >> Not beating you clean at the King of
the Ring left a little stain on my record. So, if those voices in your head tell
you that you can beat me in Berlin, I have to tell you, your voices are wrong. [APPLAUSE]
>> I accept. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Just to let you know, Randy, nothing, absolutely nothing,
catches me out of nowhere. >> It's good to know, but
I've heard that before. As a matter of fact, it doesn't need to be out of nowhere,
I want you to see it coming. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Hell, yeah >> [APPLAUSE] >> Randy, that's all good for you, but I got stuck when you
said you're unpredictable. I think it's the opposite,
I think you are very predictable. So, let me predict a few things for you. Prediction number one, I'm gonna give you the beating of
your lifetime when we meet in Berlin. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> I'm aware >> Prediction number two, because of that, Randy, you will never be world
heavyweight champion again. >> [APPLAUSE] >> If anybody wonders why I'm so sure about that, Randy, let's be honest, when it really, really matters,
you always screw it up. Listen to me,
I don't wanna throw this at you like an insult because it just comes
naturally to you, I feel like. Because your grandfather was a screw-up. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Your father was a screw-up, and you, Randy Orton, you are the biggest screw-up of them all. >> [APPLAUSE] >> McIntyre >> Some incredibly disrespectful things from Gunther to Randy Orton. Now, we got Drew McIntyre coming out. [MUSIC] >> [APPLAUSE] >> RKO out of nowhere >> You lowlifes, yelling US aim at me? What is that? That's all you get when you have
three brain cells available to verbalize some sort of support for
this man? But ever since everybody seems to be very
hyped to see you hit another RKO on me. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> I came here to let you know that it's never
going to happen again. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And since everybody, including me, is aware how dangerous of a maneuver
the RKO is, you leave me no option. Because after I'm done with you in Berlin, I'm gonna leave you a bloody mess. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And I'm gonna leave you exposed,
Randy, for what you really are. A very successful, yet very underachieving one-trick pony. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Man, Gunther, you keep running your mouth and
running your mouth, it's gonna make it just that much more of an uncomfortable
flight for you over to Berlin. That's gonna be 8 hours,
eight whole hours up in the air, 35,000ft altitude, with a size 15
boot shoved directly up your ass. >> [LAUGH] long flight. >> And it gets better that's
a size 15 boot, double extra wide. >> You know what they say, Cole. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> I'm ready. >> Gunther trying, wait a minute. >> No.
>> Ludwig Kaiser from Imperium trying to attack Orton from behind and
Randy felt him coming. >> You don't think Randy Orton
knew that was coming, you dummy? >> And Gunther went for a chop and
Orton able to turn things around again. And now Kaiser from behind top block
to the back of the knee of Orton. >> Randy was setting up Gunther and
Ludwig Kaiser somehow finds a way to, >> And now suddenly, Orton's vulnerable. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Well, Imperium proving tonight Randy Orton is not the only one
that could strike out of nowhere. >> 14-time world champion. >> Ooh, Kaiser, and
Randy better get used to that. And he's been in the ring with Gunther,
he knows what's coming his way. A week from Saturday, and Randy Orton
showing up his power with a fallaway slam. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Yeah it's gonna, >> Trip around the ring, >> And try to again take out the bad deal of Orton, here comes Kaiser. >> Randy Orton's gonna meet him
with a clothesline, however. >> That's 14-time world
champion Randy Orton. >> Randy Orton's tearing a hole
through the world champion Gunther. Orton's showing us all
about the resilience. That has made him one of
the greatest of all time. >> Randy Orton sends Kaiser high and
down, planted him in the announce table. >> [INAUDIBLE] Ludwig Kaiser. >> And I don't think he's done yet,
Kaiser, another tie. >> Gunther's showing Ludwig Kaiser,
>> Daring back at the world champ. Randy Orton's not done yet,
the Viper strikes again. >> Three-piece backdrop. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Wait a minute, why do three when you can do four,
Randy Orton, Ludwig Kaiser? >> Another one,
this one sends Kaiser over the table. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Now, this is what I coined, Vintage Randy Orton. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Randy's going to that place where he hears the voices in
his head when the RKO ties it. >> Pulls him down, almost had him. RKO, out of nowhere,
>> [APPLAUSE] >> Cover, >> [APPLAUSE] [MUSIC] >> Here's your winner,
>> [APPLAUSE] the Viper Randy Orton. >> The Viper sends a message,
the line's been drawn in the sand. >> Gunther and Orton aren't done yet. And here we go, Raw underway. Orton with a right hand to Gunther,
the fight's underway. Orton with a win over Kaiser. These two men beat Berlin
a week from Saturday, and the fight is on here tonight. Gunner and Orton going at it. It's going to be a battle
at Bash in Berlin for the world heavyweight championship. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Now, a year ago, the new world heavyweight championship was reborn,
but I wasn't here. Ladies and gentlemen, I was at home
on my couch recovering from spinal fusion surgery and I didn't know if I
would ever make it back to this ring. And I knew, though, however,
if God was gonna, by the grace of God, allow me to compete,
to perform one day again for each and every one of you, that I was gonna do
everything in my power to one day make sure that my name was engraved on
the world heavyweight championship. And this Saturday in Berlin,
I get my opportunity. New world heavyweight championship, new title, new legacy. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> I will be facing a man
whose head is shoved so far up his own ass that he has no idea,
he doesn't even realize that he'll be
facing the most dangerous, decorated, controversial,
yet successful wrestler that this industry has
seen in almost 20 years. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> The difference between Gunther and I is, as I said before,
I was humbled, I was humbled. Gunther has never been put in his place,
but this Saturday, the Bash in Berlin,
that's exactly what I intend to do. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> All this match ever had to be about was the world heavyweight championship,
that's all it ever had to be about. But Gunther wanted to make it personal. Gunther talked about my family. Gunther talked about all
the demons that I've had to face. And Gunther, you're right,
I've faced my share of demons in the past. And each one of those demons was tougher
of an opponent than you were ever be. And I beat those demons just like
I'm gonna beat you this Saturday and become a 15-time world
heavyweight champion. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> And if you're curious at all exactly how I intend on doing that,
well, I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm gonna do it by using the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment,
RKO. >> Creeping close to history, looking to
move into second place all by himself in the number of world title
reigns in his career. Randy Orton with a chance to do that
Saturday versus Gunther at Bash in Berlin.
