I say once again I love jazz jazz Chism with the walkoff and gives the Yankees an all important win and thank you a rare thank you to the Boston Red Sox for their walk-off against the Orioles that means the Yankees have gained a game in the American League east and with 17 games to go I believe left in this season I believe the Yankees are 83 and 62 84 and 62 so 16 games to go and the Yankees are a game and a half up in the American League East my goodness this game was popping off more than Shannon charp Instagram live what a sensational victory for the Bronx bombers it wasn't easy we had to do it thanks to I mean there were a lot of Heroes in this game first of all Juan stto for the massive home run in the bottom of the six the two-run lead that gave us the lead 2-1 Luis heel other than the home Roney gave up in the fourth was good throughout five innings five hits one run ball two walks five strikeouts we needed it Bullpen with the exception of that MF or clay Holmes who I am constantly shocked dumbfounded and mad why this man is still on I'm glad he's not the closer anymore but and we have a new closer and we'll get to that in a second but I don't want this guy even in the bullpen at all he's a complete waste of time and he showed it yet again tonight giv up a run immediately in the seventh inning when they bring him out there single single line out sack fly ridiculous and then the Yankees you know had trouble hitting you know there was the double play in the seventh when we thought vulpi was going to score there was Jazz striking out in the eighth inning there was the pathetic at bats in the bottom of the ninth you know Verdugo and vpy bu grounding out Stanton flying out um and Alex Verdugo who continues to be a giant waste of space speaking of waste of space Jose trino I don't know why this guy is starting any more of Rustin Wells he almost the game in the 10th inning not throwing the guy out having the ball go behind him there's it's Jose it's over Austin you in there the whole time please and then he showed it because in the bottom of the 10th inning with the runner on Runner moves to third thanks to a great sack bunt courtesy of aalo Cabrera then we had Austin Wells come in and he flew one out to left there wasn't a walkoff hit but it was a huge sack fly that tied the game up for the bronos bombers and that made it 33 and then in the bottom of 11th we or in the top of the 11th excuse me I should go before that because in the top of the 10th after the walk you had by Jake cousins you had Luke Weaver come in and this was the day Luke Weaver became closer to this team runner on third runner on second runner on first fly out strike out fly out strike out strike out those were his next next five at bats three strikeouts there crowd going absolutely crazy Luke Weaver has to be the closer going forward he just from a few games he only played a few games but he has earned it from his performance today what he's doing lately he's been good in his spots make thatman the closer he better be and then in the bottom of the 11th inning we had stto ground out which was surprising but got bir a third we had judge intentionally walked for jazz jazz with just a grounded the short Whit threw it home not in time it didn't even get there and the Yankees win we keep saying Game of the Year win of the year but this may have been another win of the year for the Yankees it extends the lead by a game it was a tough grind out Victory which you haven't had many of late in the season having to fight for that Victory having a come back in the 10th inning usually when this team gives up a run in the 10th it's over they don't respond tonight was different huge clutch base hit in the bottom half of the inning and then or not not cute but just getting the runner home crazy crazy to think that the bunt and the sack fly that's got it the bunt which the Yankees don't use enough of came through in that spot and then of course the single by jazz in the 11 just big hits in the spot big moments and yeah obviously credit to SoDo for the Home Run credit to the pitching for mostly being good tonight this was a grind out tough Victory by the Yankees credit to this team for fighting back getting it done and yeah just a game and a half game and a half up 16 to go and tomorrow because the Orioles don't play tomorrow tomorrow we have a chance to gain another half game on the Bronx bombers or on the on the Baltimore Oreos that could hopefully be the case let's let's pray that it gets done as long as Kay Holmes is not pitching I think we'll be just fine going up against Boston it is Boston is a division rival but it is at home so and we got Nester going up against Cooper chriswell that's going to be a very interesting spot for this team let's pray that we get good Nester tomorrow and let's pray that this team team shows up on offense not the greatest offensive series for the I guess the first night but yesterday was bad it took a while for them to get going here today but they went to it a three that's all it matters the stink of yesterday is gone after one of the worst losses of season yesterday they bounced back today big way so proud of this team so happy with this team and once again this team is playing me like an instrument I'm up I'm down I'm up I'm down right now I'm up I'm sure
