TAYLOR ENDORSES "CHILDLESS CAT LADY"

which I think brings us to everybody's favorite part of a presidential debate the ending the final statements now when I say Vibe check I really do think the final statements are kind of a Vibe check you know it's a way to contrast the candidates' tone they're pitch to the public a pretty Stark difference in my opinion let's watch I do believe that the American people know we all have so much more in common than what sep Ates us and we can chart a new way forward and a vision of that includes having a plan which is why I intend to create an opportunity economy investing in small businesses in new families and what we can do around protecting seniors what we can do that is about giving hardworking folks a break and bringing down the cost of living so she just started by saying she's going to do this she's going to do that she's going to do all these wonderful things why hasn't she done it she's been there for 3 and 1/2 years they've had 3 and 1/2 years to fix the Border they've had three and a half years to create jobs and all the things we talked about we're a failing Nation We're a nation that's in serious decline we're being laughed at all over the world we have wars going on in the Middle East we have wars going on with Russia and Ukraine we're going to end up in a third world war and it'll be a war like no other because of nuclear weapons the power of Weaponry I think we got like opportunity economy vers World War II here so I'm curious uh near to you like which is the better pitch personally I feel like um K Harris entered on a much more positive note she said we have so much more in common than what separates us I think that's um for some people it might be comforting to know that she acknowledges that and like it's a reminder that like no matter what like we're all same country whatever and he go we're a failing Nation so I think um that for Trump I feel like he missed out on an opportunity to have one last chance at convincing people who weren't voting for him I think um it implies that like because we're a failing Nation we need Trump I think that's what he's getting at but um I I think she said oh like I have a plan to fix all this stuff and he said she hasn't done that so I think his pit is like because she's had 3 and 1/2 years to do this she hasn't don't vote for her vote for me because we're failing and you need me um I think he it's it's I think it's missing um like why do you need me I think it's saying like it goes yeah like she's bad um you need someone else and I don't think he gets to say like you need Trump because of this this and this I think um I think in that sense it's good that he went last because she never got to say um to respond to what he was attacking her for for not doing anything three and a half years but um I yeah I do think he um it it would have been a lot stronger if he ended on a bit more of a positive note and kind of emphasized like what he would do different I think he did a good job of calling her out but I think he should have emphasized like yeah I'll do this um instead yeah she she's definitely much more positive in in her pitch and her approach uh but then again on the flip side you could just say oh that's just you know establishment speak you know it means nothing uh and Trump's trying to make himself as the anti-establishment you know politician because that's that's how he wins uh that being said it's just like this magical magic wand that the Democrats are supposed to have to fix things he says why haven't they done it already we can go back to the 2024 border act it's like oh you want to you want to go there Trump it's like these are we we're talking about gridlock here we're talking about obstructionists we're talking about politics and it's like no one has a magic wand like at the end of the day who was ever elected has to be able to compromise so I'm looking at these two and I'm like who's the best suited to compromise and you know that that's a great argument you could have like I said on the comments give me your pitch on that um my thing was what I thought was interesting was KLA Harris always brings up the opportunity economy in this debate she brings it up over and over and over again but Trump like he had his 2017 tax uh cuts and in those tax cuts he had uh opportunity you know zones so are you familiar with the opportunity zones from the uh from the the Tex gut no so opportunity zones they were basically just like uh low they're tax incentives uh to encourage investment in low-income communities and so you had like 8,000 uh communities represented in that like basically like you can invest in these low-end communities and you can pay less taxes by doing so let's incentivize you to build now so this is a great idea like in theory I mean you can argue about the implementation of it you know um it could be argued that it's it was implemented very poorly uh but the idea is still good and the idea still tracks and so why isn't he bringing up opportunity zones more to try to counter he going she's ripping off my ideas she he brings it up with the what was it the the no tips there was always like she's copying my no tips you know why isn't he bringing I haven't seen him in this election cycle bring up opportunities uh opportunity zones once and granted like there are a lot of Articles uh that say it's it's a failure so maybe they go oh stay away from that we failed but with Trump nothing's a fail everything's a success so like it doesn't stop him from talking about it so I just find that interesting why he's not using that more I think it could be kind of persuasive to uh certain you know know certain basis um I don't know overall Twitter's saying Trump won threads is saying KLA won did this debate do anything to move the needle or are we still looking at a razor thin margin of Victory here what do you think I was looking at a few websites um I know you mentioned threads and Twitter um I um I on Tik Tok more I feel like in general I think I um I'm hesitant to say that it's um proa but I think it's also because she's been going really aggressive with her marketing campaign I don't know if you've seen um her account um it's very targeted towards genen z um they like do all these like Trends and all that so I think on Tik Tok people are definitely like leaning towards her more but um obviously my or you page is carried towards me and like what Tik Tok thinks I want to see but I also um I was looking at like polls on other places I think it's very very close um closer than it was before the debate um and um yeah I mean I expected that because I think it was a much better better debate and I think the Democrats looked a lot better than they did when than when Biden debated so I just I'm a bit surprised because I thought it would be a little more towards coma it's not but um I because I I I think there were a lot of times where um I was surprised at what Trump was saying um and like some of the comments he made that would have offended a lot of people but um I guess they didn't have as much influence as I thought they would um but it is definitely closer yeah I don't think these debates um they can only hurt and I don't think this hurt because like we said you know the uh when when you lose credibility in your factchecking from ABC when you lose uh credibility as a candidate uh you know uh uh calling a tariff a sales tax like suddenly everything can be dismissed so I think if people are hardliners on the right or even just right leaning they look at that and going see they're just the same they're both just politicians so yeah I'm not sure the difference this is going to make although personally like and I'm a voter and this might be revealing the partisan hacking me but uh I am more excited to vote for kamla now than I was you know uh when the announcement was made so I think this but I was probably always going to vote for her I have I have uh like I said I have political issues like forget about policy for a second I have political issues and I don't know if we talked about this because and maybe we talked about it uh before we did the recording uh when I try to separate politics and policy I look at some of Trump's policies and I say okay some of those I get it I get the logic they're not bad opportunity zones on paper this sounds like a great idea so these policies aren't like evil but it's the politics that he plays that I I just cannot get behind and I do think it's it's it's doing more harm than good uh at the polarization and the gridlock of our you know uh political reality so I just I can't really get behind it especially if if I believe that compromise is really what needs to happen to move things forward I think he wants to win I feel like um I beyond a point like I think he knows that his fan base no matter what he says I think he knows that he has a really loyal fan base and I think a much better strategy like you were talking about like policies on paper some of the stuff seems really good I just think he goes and ruins it by saying um all these offensive things I think um he ends up like um pushing away a lot of people who might like him for his policies and I think he should realize that he may not need to say all these um polarized like he may not need to make all these like polarized statements um just to appeal to his fan base um I think he's had a good amount of time to you know um earn their loyalty so I think if he focused a bit more on persuading those people who are kind of in the middle don't know who to vote for and who ended up um who are going to like thinking of voting for KLA because of the like uh stuff he said I I think he missed out on an opportunity to like bring them over to his side yeah I mean if a near-death experience didn't drastically change his perspective I don't think anything will um not to be flippant about what happened I I think it's it's terrible I think political violence is terrible but I do know that near-death experiences H have been proven to shift someone's perspective you know the shift around their priorities so um but I I haven't personally seen that uh not sure we're gonna get to say too much on Taylor Swift's endorsement of Comm Harris this week uh I think it's I mean I think it's pretty clear she's not basing her vote on tax cuts or cap on carbon emissions um but real quick is there anything you want to say about it NY do you think Taylor's endorsement could sway the election um I personally I don't I don't think it's going to sway the election a lot I know I I remember um uh she endorsed Biden a lot in 2020 um I but I also do I've I've been think like looking at it I think a lot of her fan Bas are like the people who are going to listen to her like if they say like yeah like Taylor Swift is um voting Democrat so am I I think those people would have already been voting Democrat I think she she um I was looking at it I think she did like a few of her fans were like oh like she's supporting Biden so I support her less I think she's already lost the people who wouldn't support her um because she endorses the Democrat she's already lost those people and I think the people her fans who she has now I think I don't I don't know how much it's going to affect them because I feel like the people who are like loyal Taylor swiift supporters um and who would really like let um her endorsements their vote I feel like they are they're already voting for haris I feel like you think she's lost support I mean she made that endorsement of Biden but for the ays tour and that was the most successful concert yeah in history so I mean I think uh she I mean personally I think she's in an interesting position where I mean like I said the the I've said this before the elections are always so close it just takes a little shift in like a small uh subset of Voters to really like we're talking about 10,000 votes in some states what I meant by like she lost voters um I don't think like I mean lost fans I think in total like obviously her fan base has grown so much but um I think I'm I meant that like she lost the people who um she could have lost now like I think anyone who um isn't supporting her now I think they would have stopped supporting her back then as well and I get what you're saying she she's not going to change Minds those minds are already made up you know speaking of posts I think elon's tweet or I'm sorry it's X now I think elon's excretion this week about Taylor was pretty creepy um that's how you know cancel culture isn't real you know if the biggest incel on the planet can threaten to impregnate the planet's biggest pop star and the world shrugs it off congratulations that's freedom of speech
