5 Rookies Who Gained MASSIVE Value This NFL Preseason! (Bo Nix & More!)

Bo Nix, QB DEN we are deep into preseason and I don't want to overreact too much but these five rookies have proven they are ready for the NFL they are rising up my board quickly in Dynasty and in redraft let's just start with what I think is probably the biggest winner from preseason so far and that's bonck bonck has already won the starting job for Denver bonck went out and just did exactly what he needed to do to prove he deserves to be the starter in Denver I still am not a huge believer that Bon knck is going to be a great quarterback but you'd be stupid to say or you'd be stupid to watch his preseason and say yeah Bon Knicks should probably be higher in week two of the preseason he goes out eight for n 80 yards and a touchdown he gives you over 10 yards on the ground as well he's been sharp he's been accurate he's been decisive he's doing the things you want to see from a rookie quarterback in the preseason and again it is just that right this is just the preseason I think the people going out and crowning B Knicks saying here is the future of the Broncos that's probably premature so there are still going to be hurdles for bonick but undoubtedly he is a winner right now switching over to the tight Ben Sinnott, TE WAS end position I'm going V not and I've liked him since he came out of college right all rookie season I have been in on him as I think the second best tight end in this class by a wide margin he has the second round draft Capital exactly what we're looking for and through the first two weeks of preseason caught four balls for 66 yards the first week of the preseason that was when it really felt like we saw what his career is going to be a player that is not necessarily in line a ton but flexed out in the slot running up the seam outbreaking routes just really good solid footwork smooth route running and I think a piece of the game that Washington's going to need this year Jan doson is gone Zack Herz is the other tight end Luke mcaffrey I still don't think is very good so really you are looking what I think is the second best pass catcher on this roster right now I I think he has a very clear role and yes like Zack Herz being there is going to be frustrating because I think he's going to be Jaden Daniel's friend in his rookie year but long term sonat offers a skill set that this team just doesn't really have right now even if he doesn't have a massive rookie year I have seen plenty in the preseason to say maybe he's a year to Trey McBride and and that's lofty but the tools are there I like the player a lot and he has done nothing to take me off of that stance through the first couple of weeks of preseason heading to the running backs Bucky Irving, RB TB here or just the running back I'm talking about Bucky Irving and Bucky Irving look we loved Bucky Irving before the combine before the NFL draft but he had a terrible combine he did not get day two draft Capital we had to put Bucky Irving down our list and after watching the first couple weeks of preseason he's moving right back up the reason people love Bucky Irving pre-com you know pre- testing pre-draft Capital was the tape is spectacular once we've seen him back on the field I'm reminded exactly why we fell in love with Bucky Irving it's impossible to bring the Dude down he is consistently moving or falling forward when he does get hit Jacob Gibbs pulled a couple of stats from week one 33% avoided tackle rate 20 yards after first Contact that's unbelievable for a running back of his size of his stature his weight like it just you don't see it all that often and you felt like cuz the combine was bad and the draft Capital was bad maybe he doesn't you know maybe that doesn't translate it looks like it's translating in week two he gave gain 26 yards on six carries every single carry went over four yards he's doing things we have not seen Rashad white do at a great level I think by the end of this season Bucky Irving is the reason Rashad white does not finish as an rv1 and longterm I think Bucky Irving has a nice career he is just kind of rising from the dead it felt like in the fantasy Community just because of everything that took place in March and April but Bucky Irving is far from dead his skill set is going to translate at the next level and getting Malik Nabers, WR NYG to our two wide receivers I think these two guys are on very different ends of the spectrum let's just go with the obvious one Malik neighbors yes he gets drafted as high as he can possibly get drafted basically and there's already a ton of hype on Malik Neighbors coming into the NFL he has obliterated all the hype all of the expectations just through training camp and preseason I mean all of Twitter ESPN NFL Network CBS whatever you're watching for sports news you are just seeing a ton of Malik neighbors and rightfully so it is highlight catch after highlight catch after highlight route after just doing basically everything you want to see from him it has been one of the noisiest camps I think I have ever seen from a wide receiver and then when you actually put him on the field in week two he plays a half of football he gets goes out get six targets which is good for a 33% Target share I mean at this point he looks a part of a top 10 Dynasty wide receiver like again the draft Capital the skill set all of it's there and it's loud and it is in your face long term it's just going to be about quarterback play for him obviously Daniel Jones is not the guy not even close to it so buy your time buy him now because it's going to be fine this year and it could just explode in year two and year three and Jordan Whittington, WR LAR going from one of the most heralded rookie wide receivers we have seen in a long time to one that is fully under the radar Jordan Whittington for the Los Angeles Rams if you're not familiar out of Texas sixth round draft pick he has lit up the preseason 11 catches for 126 yards through the first two weeks he has been everywhere he feels like a typical Shawn McVey wide receiver he feels like a cup like auka these guys that are big strong can play all over the field and win with solid route running that is exactly what Jordan Whittington is doing through the first couple of weeks here and he has to be on your radar obviously he's not pukah he is not Cooper cup but both of those guys have an injury history puka very much so in college and he's banged up right now with a knee injury should be fine for the year but worth just noting and then Cooper cup is Cooper cup we we've seen him in and out of the lineup the last couple of years with you know major injuries there is a path for Jordan Whittington there is a chance for him to win the wide receiver three rle I mean think about it we've cared about scanic at random points over the last couple of Seasons that could be Jordan Whittington I'm not saying he's this year's puka but if injuries go chaotic in this offense he could be a productive rookie wide receiver I'll stop myself from getting too high but just go watch the tape go watch the highlights of Jordan Whittington you're going to fall in love very very quickly
