Dana White's Contender Series 2024: Week 4 Predictions

Intro Dana White's Contender series 2024 week number four another week another card we are going to be halfway done with this next week wow or after next week that's um yeah it's kind of Bleak when you think about it best fight on the entire card got cancelled McMillan versus bashy because McMillan got injured and pulled out yeah it sucks that was actually going to be a very interesting fight I was dying to see the betting odds on that and I really wanted to see people's predictions I personally probably would have ended up going with Austin bashy by decision but it's crazy it was like it was going to be a crazy fight McMillan's huge huge size Advantage huge size Advantage um only six and0 so less than half of the wins that bashy has but like seven and0 as an amateur so they had the same win streak or um no no no bashy had one more win because he went two and 0 as an amateur he had twice as many wins as a pro but it almost evened itself out he's not 53 that's he's like 56 5'5 he's closer to 5'7 than he is 53 let's just put it like that he's like 5'6 still would have been at huge disadvantage in terms of all size against Dorian or not Dorian against Tommy McMillan McMillan so it would have been an interesting fight Underdog pick McMillan would have been solid I probably would have ended up going with bashy even though he belongs at bantamweight and even at bantamweight he's not particularly big whereas McMillan is a huge featherweight but just in terms of skill I think bashy was better it would have been a close fight though would have been good and competitive the one we have now is just it's not it's not good it's a trash fight so um yeah best fight on the entire card got cancelled next week that all the all the decent fights got cancelled like this with the same guy RF shua and I mean I'm glad that he's fighting IO aselin at UFC 208 predictions super early predictions up on my Channel right now for that card um but still like man that card is rough we're almost halfway done but hey h i mean I'm looking forward to it um the some fights they should be exciting at the very least uh because I don't think there's going to be a single decision on this card I'm predict predicting all finishes obviously we probably won't get all finishes but hey uh it is what it is let's jump into the first fight of the Quillan vs Gauge Young night quillian Sal kilad versus gage g money young I'm going with the minus 200 moderate favorite of Sal kilage to get this done by submission in the second or third round I think third maybe first let's go second um yeah these guys actually stylistically match up decently well Gage Young from what I can tell is a pretty decent wrestler um also a small welterweight last weigh-in was at 164 and he's only 5'9 but I believe this is at lightweight it is um but he's not a very big one whereas Killian Sal killid is probably a better Striker and also six feet tall uh with those stats I can assume that he has a longer reach even though neither of these guys have their reach listed he lost his debut got out wrestled on the amateur scene by a couple people including Anatoli zurvy who's 8-0 well now 8-1 um fighting over there in FN polish promotion um yeah I think kilan Sal killit is going to win this fight he's got power in his hands as showcased against Blake Donnelly in a fight where he was being set up to lose uh fought the seven- one Champion when he was only three in one and now he is the seven in one Champion Blake Donnelly has not fought since then two and two in this promotion which is bad um but yeah Ken's got power he's got okay striking probably better than Gage Young's but he's also a Grappler he has nasty submissions nasty Jiu-Jitsu whether it's off his back when he gets takedowns when he has top control um but I will say Gage young wrestling he's a wrestler so I wouldn't be entirely too surprised if this is a fight where Gage young controls Sal kilad for three rounds and wins but I'd be pretty surprised uh he does tend to gas out in later in the fights that's what his one loss was to Bobby Lee he got caught in a triangle choke I believe or an armar in the third round um lost to Ashton Kirby in the third round as well that's his only loss as an amateur it was by punches Ashton Kirby 10-1 as an amateur two- two is a pro um yeah 11-1 as an amateur only lost to JL but as a pro he's he's struggling so Gage young is nothing special uh Ken s killed he's not the greatest Prospect ever but Gage young had all his fights in this promotion um ignite or no no Fighting Alliance Championship he's eight in that promotion 8- one overall and he still lost to Bobby Lee who's just a Bellator jobber 12- s he's like 14- s now 15- n yeah he's not the worst fighter ever but he's not particularly good so to not beat him especially on a three-fight losing streak to Joey Davis me Orbach me Nick Brown me all overrated uh padded records yeah not the greatest look for Gage young killan s killed should be a better Striker should be a better Grappler too minus the wrestling and I don't think wrestling alone is enough to get this win for Gage young though I will say similar thing for Killian he's six and one in this promotion had his entire career here um but it's different he's Australian he kind of has doesn't really have any options I mean they have a couple promotions they could go to but yeah and his only loss is to this dude who was 4-1 as an amateur and then you know lost to Killian or beat Killian in his debut by re Nia choke which is interesting not a confident pick um rod cost on this card interesting and Sebastian slay the one his one loss he's a good Prospect I'm actually higher on him than both these guys even if he did lose to a bum like abdulla bla who's not a bum but just not very good uh JDM was supposed to be in this card and how do I get how do I get back to to the thing uh I don't I don't want to be here I want to go back out here Killian kill it yeah I think he wins I'm going with second round submission rear Naka choke something along those lines unun Debon Yuneisy Duben vs Shannon Clark versus Shannon MMA Barbie Clark easy fight minus 500 Shannon Clark is a lock uh yeah she's 32 fighting a 28-year old but she's much bigger 56 62 in reach uh topology 9 9% of you should be picking her she is a lock um if unisy Deon wins I will eat my own shirt I will literally eat my own shirt um yeah she is a she's got all the red flags for a fraud bum Prospect uh not even a prospect she hasn't fought or hadn't fought in four years before coming back she doesn't have a single win over an opponent with any fights and her record is being taken apart because originally she was 5-0 as a pro and three and um yeah and 3 and0 as an amateur no this L this like fight against Sylvia Martinez got overturned and apparently she lost it so that's not good I wish that didn't happen cuz you know that girl just beat her and then you know never did anything in the sport at least duben was about to lose so I wish that was overturned back um she beats Kaylor Carla Sanchez loano pretty sure she had her like beat her twice but no now that's overturned to just once uh and now this Alejandra Perez guy girl she beat her twice uh this little Zano girl she beat Sandra LV who was in the contender series a few years ago she not good and LV um no she's okay 12 and five now doing her thing in Invicta and LFA whatever she's not she's not particularly good um she's the girl who lost to caros Sanchez loano uh and also she was scheduled to fight uny Devon my point is Devon's not doing good duben yeah not a single opponent with a win not a single one this was a no contest against mes fought her again 0 and one if we look through all the records I'm pretty sure that we're going to see similar things who what about this Regina kasana guy girl why do I keep saying that Owen three and 0 and three is an amateur to so 0 and six basically all by finish how about Andrea Vasquez Velasquez 0 and four this is ridiculous she is a bum fraud jobber Prospect a bum fraud just a fraud 0 and one she fought only debuting opponents and like yeah her record got changed her fights are getting uh taken apart Shannon Clark even if she was just a random fraudulent LFA Prospect I'd still pick her confidently to win this but she's not she's 32 so time is now um she's 3 and0 as an amateur beating a 3 and0 girl in her um in her in her third fight and this girl is now 5 And1 is an amateur just the fact that alone that alone her amateur career alone would make me pick her over yusi unisi whatever the hell her name is Dubin no but then she beat 2-0 Prospect Nera rip beat her more dominantly than Veronica borisova and yeah she's three and2 now not the best thing ever but that's a three and2 in the LFA and she was three and 0's amateur that's not a three and2 in some random Peruvian or um uh Colum promotion Backwater promotion like no she was fighting killers and she got beaten by Shannon Clark more dominantly than the 6 and0 Russian Veronica borisova she got beaten more clearly and then not even that shanon Clark she didn't stop there she didn't stop there with good wins she got another win after that the one she's coming off of by Bulldog choke in the second round over the Lopez another undefeated Prospect 5-0 now 5- one and I'm not saying these are particularly good prospects I'm not saying like this is even Fatima Klein level of Prospect and she got exposed in the UFC against Jasmine Jaz de visus which is not really an expose she's solid my point is Shannon Clark is a lock she's going to win um I think she's going to get a finish I'm going with a second round submission maybe a first round something like that but I'm going to do second round to be safe and also I'm not going to say bet her by finish like don't bet any of these fights I I wouldn't I wouldn't I wouldn't I really wouldn't I wouldn't suggest betting them but Shannon Clark is a lock she's going to kick dubin's ass like I could have literally just said that said she's a fraud and picked her but no yeah dubben is just all the red flags possible no nothing good uh the only like thing that could be a green flag is a red flag she's 28 she's young and um she's coming back so maybe she's made tremendous improvements and also she's got a bunch of finishes like including a head kick Corner stoppage so I can assume she's a really like powerful girl but she's fighting jobbers it's not that hard to finish cans Clark is a lock she's going to destroy her 30 26 3027 I'm going with um a submission in the second round Austin Bashi vs Dorian Ramos Austin bashy versus Dorian Ramos Austin the banshe bashy like he I don't know what happened to his nickname it was badass he's not 53 change this this is like when Kyo Balia was listed at 6'1 or 5' 10 does he look 510 to you does Austin bashy look 53 to you he kind of does actually but no he's like 5'6 5'7 he was only the tiniest bit shorter than uh ascar ascar not to be confused with ascar asgarov who is a Russian flyweight that fights in ACA after losing to Kara France he ran away from the UFC like a still one of the best flyws in the world and I hate that he's the last guy to beat Pantoja I think either him or F I hate that ascar ascar yeah only a tiny bit taller than bashy so it's safe to say Bashi is around 5'6 um still very small for featherweight he is a bantamweight he shouldn't be fighting at featherweight uh he's got some okay wins ascar ascar you know he was kind of getting lit up a bit but then found the the choke in the second round Joe penfield's me he was scheduled to fight another undefeated uh Prospect in Diego Gomez mansur it got canceled Diego mansur now 10-1 I'm pretty sure yeah he lost to Mark gray who lost to vilson and droni who was a good Prospect but he beat other people uh yeah we're going in circles here none of this is necessary information I'm just kind of flexing my MMA knowledge and if you're looking at the screen you can tell that I'm not even looking at typology I'm calling this stuff out before I even click on the pages because I know I I keep a track a close eye on these prospects Dorian Ramos is not it before even clicking on his page I'll tell you he lost to the two losses are to Andrew Co who lost to Ernie harez by Split Decision or he or Dorian Ramos lost to him by split decision to coin it and his other loss I don't know but it's to someone who's not very good my point is he's at that level he's at that level with earning harez and all these other people and we saw in the contender series week one the best week so far Jose Delgado a prospect who's good but not like an Uber Prospect like Bashi should be like Bashi destroyed harez very easily that's the level that Ramos is in losing to guys who lose to harez like Split Decision sure and styles make fights I'm sure that um Dorian Ramos could beat Ernie harez he could beat coin in a rematch but only in a two-fight winning streak he lost by triangle armar to matus camoo who's s-2 uh lost to a 4 in one guy like not the worst thing ever but like yeah he only has one thing going for him here and that's his size he's still bigger than bashy CU bashy should still not be fighting at 145 he's tiny I don't care if he's actually 5'6 he's still a for the weight class not particularly big bro needs to move down he needs to go back down um typology stuck at eight Community picks more people have picked than that than that but um yeah they're all picking bashy as am I second round submission Dorian Ramos is literally just a worst version of Austin bashy he's a worst version of Austin bashy that's slightly bigger or bigger and not even particularly big cuz he weighed at 143 last time bashy don't let this heavier weigh in fool you he's smaller he's significantly smaller than Ramos um he probably doesn't cut to make 146 bro is not big he's small maybe 150 pounds Max Ramos I don't know maybe cut an extra pound or so but he's going to be bigger but it's not a huge size Advantage like Tommy McMillan Tommy McMillan is a towering 5'11 and that's like a real height because he used to be booked at 61 or 6 foot that was a lie 510 5'11 versus 5'6 and also McMillan's like a big ass big framed to featherweight like Max Hollow type he's not super skinny like Yer and I know Max seems skinny but he's like he's pretty damn large he's huge for a featherweight um that's Tommy McMillan I wanted to see that fight so badly 12-0 Austin bashy two- 0 is a pro 14 I mean two- 0 is an amateur 12-0 is a pro 14 fight winning streak Tommy McMillan 7-0 as an amateur six and0 as a pro much more amateur experience but half the the pro experience 13 fight winning streak who was who wining streak was going to get snapped who's going to take their first loss no it got on cuz stupid piece of spoil and we got Dorian Ramos he's going to lose Austin bashy is practically a lock some people here are like oh stay away from Bashi he could be a parlay Buster I wouldn't bet on him I you know what nobody knows anything about these prospects I mean we know a lot but I I know a lot about bashy I don't know why people consider him an Uber Prospect I know he's got like he's got like a like a like a Aaron Pico light back background he's got like a lot of Jiu-Jitsu accolades and he's fought decent competition like six- one Ryan zei chrisan Jose 9- One Beat Joe Penfield who's me be Vagas um I know he looks like a trash can but he he's solid he um lost to Danny Chavis beat sjuk kop kak ranov by flying knee which is a fluke Jose Johnson who's nefc huge bum Dees maner Austin bashy like his losses are decent beat Victor Hugo mother God which is crazy I didn't know that happened Split Decision um but yeah point is I don't know why people see him as an Uber Prospect I definitely think he's a good Prospect I definitely respect the 12 and0 at 22 I remember this guy saying he didn't want to rush in UFC around this fight back here around ascar asgar and he wanted to get more experience so he fought ascar asgar imagine having this same last name and first name kind of crazy then he fought Zack Riley after Alo husk pulled out he's getting a free win to the UFC I would be surprised if he didn't finish Ramos is just not that good bash's better literally everywhere and he's better he's just a better version of Ramos like plain and simple and not even a slightly better version he's a way better version I'm willing to be wrong on this to see an O get taken but bashy like I don't think he's an Uber Prospect like everyone else but I think he's a very good Prospect I think he's the best prospect on this card and he'll go the farthest by far is if he moves down to Bantam wa at least a featherweight I don't really see him having much of a future but even then that's that's how good he is compared to these other trash cans on here um other than maybe Shannon Clark in the women's divisions which are weaker I think bashy can go farther than anyone even at featherweight but bantamweight is his real weight class yeah easy bashy win second round reun choke R is just a worst version of him yeah he's trash speaking of trash will Will Currie vs Djorden Santos Drago Curry versus Jordan Shakur Santos some people are fading Will Curry and I get it will curry is a fraud he's not that good he's kind of just a big bum huge for middleweight 6'3 25 years old young cage Warriors Prospect 8 and3 in the promotion he lost to mix Danton 10 and seven now 13 and 8 37y old bum who was 35 at the time I believe um or 34 yeah lost I mean he's beaten some decent people like Camille he he gets an underdog win every now and then Will Curry lost him will Curry's only other two losses are to the same person Christian Leroy Duncan CLD Leroy Duncan uh he's got some okay wins went five and0 as an amateur 12 and3 is a pro uh he beat 5- one at the time nlas kind of swats his face he's like seven and three now decent Prospect from Lithuania or not Prospect fighter destroyed George jge Bueno who's a bum destroyed Leon ALU who's a bum destroyed darel bendi who is like eight- one yeah he's this he's the only loss he's and that guy beat M Stanton so MMA math I'm sure um that you know seven or eight times out of 10 Will Curry beats mix Stanton uh but point is he's not that good he is kind of a fraud he's kind of just a a um a size Merchant you know 6'3 middleweight built like Drago like he's big he's got muscles he's kind of thin but like good muscles lean muscles Jordan Santos is a bum he's a nobody literally the exact type of guy you feed here people picking him are just like they're not picking him because he's good they're picking him because he's a fade on Will Curry very weird body composition here he looks like an alien that's trying to spit acid at me um yeah he's just not good 27 years old I'm surprised we even know his age last weigh at 204 um yeah he been inactive split this decision with Miguel firmino who was 3 and0 but is now 8 and5 and that just goes to show you the level of activity from Jordan Santos uh recently came back or not even recently he hasn't fought in two years uh he lost to Christian Torres who's like Christian but he's got an H in the name he's got an H dos it Christian with a lisp chrisan Tes with a back problem I broke my back spinal um yeah this guy's a bum and he lost him his it's his only loss but still bad loss very bad very stinky um Santos is just not good um not good at all very hard to find tape went three and0 as an amateurs and only got one loss you know he's like a mystery maybe like a less version of dubben where he could come back like a world beater and uh Will Curry is less proven than Shannon Clark so you know that's why I'm not saying he's a lock but he's a minus 400 heavy favorite read the writing on the wall he's going to win this fight I'm going by first round knockout due to ground and pound I think Jordan Santos is just a bum who hasn't fought in almost two years I think he's a fraud I mean like not even a fraud he's just rated I think it's a a perfect match up for Will Curry to just destroy him I think they're setting him up and I wouldn't be too surprised if he lost cuz he's really not that he's not that good but I'd be pretty surprised because this is a setup fight for him they found a guy with a decent looking record that they could feed to him he's going to climb to 13-3 make Santos fall to um 9-2 he is he's got a good record at 9-1 but it's padded full of cans and he doesn't have that undefeated plot armor um like that stupid Max and Lee that fought on the LFA card and that dumb Maus Suarez those losers uh yeah he doesn't have plot armor so I'm pretty confident Will Curry is going to win like I said wouldn't better parlay any of these people I'm more confident in Clark and more confident in bashy but I mean Willl Curry is a man at the end of the day so you don't got to worry about that uh that that kind of takes off some of the edge uh then sell kill it and then Main Event time Igor jakare Igor Cavalcanti vs Seok Hyun Ko kavalan versus suuk incredible hango yeah these betting odds are ridiculous he should in no world be a minus 335 moderate favorite he's quite frankly trash he has that feed of plot armor and he's a huge huge huge favorite so I'm obviously going to pick him um but I'm not going to on anyone picking CO as an underdog this is why I was waiting for the betting odds to come out because betting odds don't influence my picks I I mean they do but they do we can't lie if these betting odds were minus 110 or minus like 150 for iGo cavanti most of us would consider picking CO as an underdog or we you know um if you did tape study it was- 110 - 110 I'm sure this would be like barely in the favor of kokan maybe like 7030 that's not bar but you get what I mean betting odds influence us clearly the odds makers see something they're stupid they're wrong A lot of times but I mean he's a huge favorite on tapology huge favorite on the betting odds and that's what I'm going to go by because from their tape they both suck they're both ass the argument people make for Co is he's actually fought people with a pulse uh he actually he like because eigor kakan just crushed ks's entire career he's fought nobody good um you know this guy suck uh hung Co is seven and0 in this promotion kind of being B baby he's fought a bunch of trash cans as well and also my Counterpoint kavalan has finished all of them in the first round he's finished every single person in like a minute and he's undefeated he's never been finished before he's got a lot of power we've seen Co finished before literally like three fights Ago by hunu Kim who is not that good he got finished in like a round in like a minute by hunel Kim who's 13-7 a jobber a loser 34 years old I picked him to beat um bahata bolati on the road to UFC he's on a three-fight losing streak T like Nori not bad hatle he's a bum he's a fraud like yeah he shouldn't have lost that fight um it was close but split decision to an eight and5 guy right before he beat sakono um lost to 10 and two Fabricio aavo like this dude is just not that good and and um Co got knocked out by him and you can read more into it listen Styles make fights if they fought 10 times who comes out on top most of the time I'm going with the facts that I have like here he also got knocked out by the worst UFC fighter of all time one of the worst in pinov when he was 0 And1 one of the only Hong Kong Fighters and equally as as another Hong Kong fighter Romano Pasqual but not with any of the looks to make up for it um yeah he somehow went one and two in the UFC because you know those ah those those Kos brothers are man like LS Kos terrible went 0 and2 in the UFC and got cut I don't know like he beat a jobber in the contender series then lost every fight after that but my point is I don't rate Sono or whatever the his name is at all I don't rate eigor kakan either but he has plot armor he's undefeated I've never seen him chined before so for that reason alone I'm going to pick him obviously he's a huge favorite I don't think it's I don't think it's right I don't think he should be a huge favorite I think it's ridiculous but I'm not going to fade a guy who's a minus 350 favorite or 335 when he's undefeated and he's fighting a chinny bum who has very few notable wins I mean this guy June young is a better win than anyone kavan's beat including this what this two and 0 guy who's a nobody kakan seems like the obvious pick and like you can make your case and I hope I'm wrong I want to see ano get taken really badly on this card um but yeah he's a fraud he hasn't fought anybody Co is barely any better but his his cons outweigh his Pros so I'm going with eor kakan by brutal first round knockout in like the first two minutes I think it's going to be back and forth war and I think that kavak is going to land a big shot and put Co out cold get a contract I don't see him going far in the UFC not far at all I think he is a fraud and I think I think he gets fraud checks pretty easily like one of the Kos Brothers I think he barely wins his debut against some bum uh they're at 170 so they there's a lot of options for jobbers but he's not going to be a Michael Morales he's not even going to be a Shawn Brady he's going to be like a um I don't know he's going to he's going to be a jobber he's going to be like a Kos brother he's not very good anyway um yeah confidence levels Killian H killed I guess I'll go through my Quick Picks recap Quick Pick Recaps uh quillian H killed second round submission medium confidence uh low confidence n medium confidence Shannon Clark uh submission in the second round high confidence high confidence in Shannon Clark Victory lock confidence Austin bashy um second round submission like no no Shannon Clark decision I don't know Austin bashy third round like something like that the mission just Austin bashy in general um high confidence not a lot confidence but lock confidence pretty much yeah lock confidence um Will Curry first- Round knockout high confidence medium confidence I don't know will Curry's kind of a fraud eagor clti first round knockout high confidence medium confidence he's a fraud too but yeah yeah undefeated plot armor so I'm not like I'm I'm confident in all of these picks but like at the same time I'm not so um yeah those were my picks for Dana WS Contender series week number four let me know your predictions down below uh I wouldn't bet on this card not at all but if you've made a lot of money I mean go for it will curry um should win should win in the distance as well but you never know uh eigor kakan son H Co to not go the distance that's a good one uh Shannon Clark is a lock so yeah you can bet her Austin bash should be a lock so yeah you can bet him you never know with women but like duben is just so bad and Ramos is just not un bash's level so yeah I'll see you guys in the next video peace out
