Live from East Lake: My Game vs. The Creator Cup | 6,600 Yards Showdown

welcome in to another smoke Sim golf live stream and do I got a special treat for you today we are at East Lake Country Club home of the Tour Championship I know it's home of the Tour Championship this is going to be the finale of the PGA Tour but we are playing it from 6600 yards which is no small feat being the fact that it's a par 70 I'm not going to try and kill myself out here playing it from 6,800 yard 7,000 at a part 70 I've already told you one time too many I hate part 7s but PGA seems to love them but here's the special twist for today is the creator classic just took place yesterday at East Lake and I'm not comparing myself this time to the PGA tour players I'll be comparing myself to the creators some of the top creators played yesterday at East Lake and it was a a heck of a show if you missed it you should go check it out but we're going to see where we stack up against some of the best creators on YouTube on Instagram let's see where smok Sim golf Stacks up if it forgot my glove so hole one looks like it's going to be [Music] a 465 y power for and that's exactly what I decided to play it from 6600 yards and nothing less or nothing more cuz we're already starting out with the 465 yard Par Four narrow as can be I hit very little practice shots on the Range so I have no idea what to expect right now what we're back we're rejuvenated took yesterday off and we're pushing about 90° out here today cooling off though breez is picking up Creator classic last Cit to it all right I'll take that I hit it solid nice Cut going to find the Fairway and that thing's going out to over 260 yards didn't think that that was going to last very long I had a [Music] um we're good all right still have 200 yards into this green which is insane little dog leg to the [Music] right um The Club selection is going to be try and run up a four iron or carry my hybrid all the way [Music] there I think I'm going to try and run up before [Music] four seems to be the place for me forn it's going to going to be what it is [Music] 200 yards I'm going to have to get every bit of [Music] this I mean was it the worst swing caught it a little thin but thin and left okay we just missed rolling rolling it up to the green but chiping a putt and we'll be out of here with a par well it's easier send than done chipping a put huh all right 18 yards number one priority is getting this ball over that pretty big lifp in this bunker it's going to be the number one [Music] priority I mean I like it I like it coming out let's go out of this with a par take it all day that's what I'm talking [Music] about couldn't ask for a better start moving to Hole [Music] two it's 165 Y part three pin placement smack dab in the middle of the green just have to hit the good iron shot and we be right there it's going to be a seven [Music] iron all right seven iron it [Music] is that thing was hit really well might be a a little left yeah little left about a long ways left carried it probably 175 that's a heck of a 7 hour for me I mean anytime I play these par 7s it's always going to come down to the short game the scoring clubs wedges and putters [Music] little 22 yard pit shot got to get this up there close [Music] [Music] we'll see I don't know if I gave it enough to roll out there I didn't got to make a [Music] putt 19f footer it's going to be the first put of the day breaking I mean relatively decent amount of break from left to [Music] [Music] right all right I'm looking to do is hit a square putt here if the Read's off the re is off but I want to make sure that my putter head is square going through impact [Music] I'm trying to figure out the [Music] speed oh just over the edge of the cup it looked good for a long long time it's tough that is [Music] tough well first bogey of the day they're going to come but can't can't just spiral away and one after another after another I mean I hit a really good iron shot just almost too good I had too good of iron shot to tell you the truth all right about a normal par 4 here it's actually playing down slope a lot so 335 yards down slope and this right is fine um just about getting it out there might have pushed it a little bit we'll see oh no going left left is not okay because we're going to be behind those trees and not have a shot at the green even though it's going to be right around 100 yards maybe less 84 yards but that tree is going to come into play 100% ah we might have a window we might have a window folks it's just about getting it [Music] there short is no bueno a little long it's it's only 84 yards we got some tree trouble we're going to aim right through that window so got a 52° wedge a little long it's [Music] fine speed the distance hit the window I was aiming at sit give me some spin give me some spin all right we have a pet for we have a putt for you called it double up baby double up R [Music] big all right no easy putts here apparently lots of break on these grein but any birdie putt is a good birdie putt so we'll take it 16 footer sliding pretty hard left to right I'm going to aim pretty high up and go for the break here let's play a lot of break come on one time one time one time one time one time that's the second one that just hit the edge it's one of those stressfree pars though that I talk about all the time and we'll take them all day here at East Lake all right moving on the whole four [Music] 402 yard p 4 playing a little shorter with the pins and the t's that we have playing 391 but uphill 51 ft so it kind of evens everything out probably playing right around that 405 Mark with the uphill not going to get much roll out the Miss is not left here though [Music] got to get my driver figured [Music] out all right let's see what we working with felt good off the club face but it felt like that is perfect let's go we have to have good drives to give ourselves even a chance at these greens into two very narrow Fairways expect nothing less from a TOUR Championship of course only 138 yards left to the green we're going to take pretty much dead aim at it the left Miss is safe a push off to the right there's a bunker over there it's pin's tucked to the right this green so the left Miss is where we'd want to be if we miss got a nineiron 138 we're pin hunting I caught it a little thin again I might get the distance I want get a big bounce no sit sit oh I asked for the bounce and I got it I don't know if we're in that 9 foot give me R let's go we're back to even par [Music] yes that's what I'm talking [Music] about all right let's keep that momentum going [Music] caught that shot a little thin I feel like if I didn't thin it we would have been even closer cuz it took a little spin off but Beggars can't be choosers we take that all [Music] day all right 381 here on hole five and this one's playing down slope so as long as we hit the Fairway the narrow Fairway look at this thing it's like the size of a one lane highway or something 381 have to hit the Fairway to get some run [Music] out all right let's go made Solid [Music] contact oh we are getting into him today as of so far that is a drive and a half Carri at 270 and this baby is going to catch the Fairway and run out 295 [Applause] come on one let keep that momentum going though that's the hardest part cuz we're going to hit some adversity and when we hit that adversity it's all about just not letting the wheels fall off I'm not very good at that that part of it all right 85 yards feel like I want to take dead aim at this this pin 100% the question is what club I think it's going to be a smooth 52 is going to be the the Club selection this is the second time I've seen this distance today already so I feel like I have a pretty good gauge for it [Music] I caught it thin again everything pulled it left wow yeah with that thin that thin shot that thing took off on me I needed to get under it which I did not do all right I mean we have a putt but it is going to be a crazy putt chances of me getting putting this inside a gimme range is not good 77 ft going to hit this red area right here and go right to left I believe I don't know how much this put's going to be one for the record [Music] books we'll see not even hard enough man that's tough that's tough to gauge a 77f footer with that much break on it I didn't even get it to the area that I wanted it to now it's 24 ft downhill right to left like [Music] crazy and I just hoping to put this in that gimme range it's a good line it's a good line oh it ran out of gas all right that's another bogey give one back to the course even par first part five whole six so under 500 yard but you have to hit the perfect drive again we'll see if we could do that these Fairways just keep bringing themselves more and more [Music] in all right the H driver good as of late try and continue this oh no that's right that is [Music] right hold on stay between the tree and the bunker it stays on the grass I'm fine anytime you go into one of the bunkers that bunker lip's going to come into play and I did just that so I think I'll be in perfect position for a layup 200 yards we'll aim it right out to the left the left side is fine cuz it gives you plenty more green to work with on your next third shot so hit a five iron get one down there all right all about hitting a good shot here let's get one out there it's good contact might be a little on the left side we'll see yeah I'm was afraid of just stay out of the trees the left side is fine cuz the angle that you have going into the green is good 100 yards close Club face though but check out this angle I don't think a lot of the bunkers are going to come into play I I mean I love that that angle so like I said the left side was the Mist if you're going to miss and that's exactly where I missed now just take advantage of [Music] that all right full send 52° wedge got to get it all the way to the back of the [Music] green I'm yet to hit this [Music] pure there it is finally caught it good just be the distance get a good bounce it did it's going to check up but I mean we got ourselves 30 opportunity all right little 18f footer for birdie little bit of break at the beginning from right to left whole six biry attempt [Music] here oh man I like the speed on it been leaving them a little short come on come on sneak yourself in there come on you have got to be kidding me that's a tough break just needed one more roll on that was there all right all seven got to put that behind you like I said stress free stress free pars are good pars so we'll take them all all day just walk up and tap it [Music] in 414 yd par 4 again we are playing this is a par 70 course East Lake it does not miss mess around playing it from 6600 yard I was not going to play a par 70 from 6800 it's just not fun so we're going to do it from 66 narrow Fairway again all [Music] right 44 yd downhill let's get off to a good drive and we'll be have a good approach [Music] shot caught it a little Healy but usually when I catch them on the hill it's a solid cut finds the middle of the Fairway it's not going to quite make it back to the Fairway but it's safe and out of trouble only 136 yds a little downhill out of the rough we're taking dead aim at this [Music] going to be a n miss my nine iron last time a little to the left a little pool so that thing was hit solid Beed the number no pull it again might be pin High just past pin High sit I mean we're on the green it's a long putt for see these long ones scare me that has three putt written all over it not much break to this putt right to left maybe a little double breaker at the end yeah for sure let me see the beginning of this butt oh this one's a hard one to read I'm just looking to get it inside that range 43 ft nothing more I would like the two putt is [Music] [Music] we'll see gave it a hit get up there oh this got some juice hey I did exactly what I sought out to do tap it in stress free par Club face was almost square on it it was a perfect speed speed was key there and I nailed it still one over [Music] though all right water's starting to come into play here 370 yards just keep playing the game I've been playing and should be fine Miss Right is fine it looks like the sloped this way so anything off that hillside's going back down towards the Fairway we're going to aim a far away from that water as possible we all know how the ball likes to find the water no matter where you aim so we'll try and do everything we can to prevent that power four 371 Ys downhill a little bit fourth hardest hole in this course [Music] definitely missed it right it's got to be a miss right yeah for right kick back now kind of took a straight bouns but we're on top of that hill we got a no tree trouble we have a shot at the green 122 yards take it all day I aimed there I ended up there it's a safe Miss [Music] 22 yards oh excuse me 122 we will take 100% dead aim at this it's a center pin there's no reason to not try and attack this thing [Music] I pulled it again just please don't be no no no I did it that sucks bro I knew it right off the club face all right try not to let the wheels fall off here we're going to have to hit that shot again we're taking dead aim at it again nothing's [Music] changing like this shot does not intimidate me and I usually love this [Music] distance if anything now it's a Mis right it's a good line where was that player B scratch golfer you know the drill how does that work let me know in the comments why that is always the case so frustrating I have to make this for par or excuse me bogey I have to can't let that go that far south on me all right regroup regroup regroup [Music] a this little 20 footer little bit break breaking from left to right I mean I've been hitting solid putts all day [Music] I was not going to leave this one short I'll tell you that whether or not finds the hole that's another thing but it was not going to be short I thought it was good Double B we over that's frustrating especially when I I know I could hit that shot and I proved I could hit that shot but just one time too late [Applause] all right let's make up that 157 Y part three got to hit it inside this little Bowl right here you can see the red surrounding the pin anything over that you're going to have a tough putt with the down slope so this is like a two-tier green this front pins down anything behind it's above got to aim it short got to be short here it's going to be a eight iron no matter what if I get a hold of it I'm going to be on that back tier if I hit a normal eight I'll be right where I want to be around the PIN [Music] I don't know try to hold it off it's all about the bounce all right I tried definitely tried what we got little 12 yard bunker shot I mean the pin placements have have not been too crazy so far they've been reachable just having hit some good shots let pop this baby up out of the sand and we'll move on I think that should be [Music] fine just like I said we'll take our tap in par no move on stress free baby what's up Vibes over on Instagram appreciate you stopping [Music] in all right mve into the back nine whole 10 398 y power 4 narrow as can be there is some tree trouble left and right so you have to hit a solid drive out there [Music] all right try and hit that cut bring it back towards the middle of the Fairway I think that's a good drive I think yeah I say I'm going to try and hit that cut pull it off that found the dead center of the [Applause] Fairway all right going to need two really good shots in a row 104 yards playing uphill a little bit so it's playing I'm mean closer to 115 I think I'm going to hit just a soft pitch and wedge up there if I hit it a little long um what's going to happen is there's a back there's like a back stop if I put enough spin on it it'll bring it right back down towards the the pin so feel like this is the right the right [Music] call the line's good settle settle down it did we have ourselves a h 430 what can you do got to put this in though got to get that back all right birdie put coming [Music] up I mean there's next to nothing on this breake it's a double breaker breaking right to left at the beginning and then kind of left to right at the end right to left at the beginning left to right at the end excuse me it's tough I'm just going to aim smack dab in the middle of the cup give it enough pace and hope it drops I feel like both the brakes are going to even themselves out don't think I hit it hard enough though we'll see bring it back now oh my God how many cuts are we going to miss that just catching edges nothing nothing else to say they're good putts they just not finding the cup it's tough it's tough when you you're Scavenging for birdies here and you get the opportunity to make one and it just doesn't go all right moving on 147 yd part three a Mis right is fine I don't know if I'm going to be able to push my nineiron 147 yards I'm going to try to get a nine there but this could be a [Music] mistake I hit it about a solid as I could it's coming back oh my goodness I killed that nine iron holy crap 1599 yeah I caught every bit of that not what I wanted [Music] though now we have some work to be done with the wedge game 17 yard pit shot and we already seen the way the greens breaking how our t- shot just rolled off of [Music] it all right 17 yards [Music] I absolutely duffed it I deserve that ah I was just trying to be too cute with it trying to hit the perfect Chip Shot instead of just getting it down there we still well it's technically on the green so we will put it [Music] my sixf footer sucks though it definitely [Music] sucks all right nothing you can do about it now just focus on the next shot 26t putt got to focus on making this cuz hit it just the way I wanted to one time one time boom baby let's go you know who that is let's go that's how we say far [Music] that's what I'm talking about need it [Music] that all right it's a scoring hole it's a shorter Par Four 325 yards it is playing uphill a little bit but it's still short if I'm going be in one of these bunkers I'd rather be in the left bunker yeah yeah I'm going to te off with a putter let's go all right 3:25 let's te this baby up here another solid Drive I me I'm been driving the crap out of the ball today so hopefully we can continue that here [Music] that was bad contact that felt really bad luckily it's a short Par Four give me a kick nope we are going to end up right behind that tree oh my goodness 115 yards but I think we're so close to it that we can't go over [Music] it all right right's right's the Miss or excuse me left is the Miss front of the green if you can try and cut one around that'll be great but if not you going to have to rely on that wedge that you just [Music] absolutely didn't do yourselves any favors here we're going to try and we are going to try and do this though [Music] I tried we'll see it's cutting get a good bounce get a good bounce hey I'll take that baby I tried it and I pulled it off for the most [Music] part all right still a long birdie opportunity but it's a birdie opportunity anytime you give yourself a chance it's all you can ask for give me a chance there coach give me a chance uphill got to be aggressive with this P 71 it's only 48 but it's playing like 71 with the amount of up slope that we have to go up so [Music] got to give this put a nice [Music] hit I definitely did that that time we'll see close your eyes pray and spray boom baby let's go that's what I'm talking about [Music] 40f footer draining them for birdie they haven't been dropping all day and then we just get two bombs to drop are you kidding me all reel yourself in because whole 13 brings up 400 yard over 400 Yard part for where you have to focus on this hole Fairways narrow as can be again [Music] get off the tea first things [Music] first it might be a little left we'll see it's got a draw on it just get a good bounce left or right excuse me stay pretty true give me a window it's not going to what I was afraid of [Music] 146 my [Music] goodness feel like we're going to have to keep it low just under the tree and try and hook one [Music] around yeah punt shot is what it's going to be trying to keep it and run this little punt shot up there made good contact with it no I mean that was the idea but it never had that draw didn't come back so 25 yard W shot what we got left [Music] that really short sided I mean got green to work with just about hit in the right shot [Music] here I mean I hit it exactly how I wanted it to so I can't complain of the results I believe that's a par bab bab is go scrambled on that hole scorecards don't have pictures baby score cards don't have pictures all right oh here we go he's like okay I East Lake's like I gave you so you come off making a 70f footer for birdie I'll give you a 405 Yard part 4 and then how about a 533 Yard part four yeah thank you thank you for that I got to get into this everything I got to have a chance at reaching this screening too wasn't the worst yeah that thing is what killed the dinosaurs baby stay in the Fairway we're going to get a much run as we can as long as we stay in the Fairway just rolled out of it still 238 yards to this green that is insane if you're just joining us whole 14's a 535 Y Park three it's insane there's nothing don't like it I don't know how this not the hardest hole on the course I have 238 for my second shot into this green it's going to be a 3-wood I don't really have a choice I don't pull three-wood very often but when I do it's either really good or really bad [Music] it was a solid struck ball be the distance it's going to kick left off that hill come on no no left kick we're about pin High though I mean the ball was nuked y what's up Todd over on IG appreciate you stopping in all right wedge game it is chipping a putt Save Part on a 535 y Par Four 19 yards you have a landing spot it's just all about finding that distance I mean I like it I hit it just the way I wanted it to so live with the results yep it's going to go by I'm going to have a for but I said we live with those results 14 foter it was going to be hard to stop just cuz everything was downhill and sloping away from us but I just didn't want to you know love one or anything give ourselves a chance for par here 14-footer break pretty hard from left to right I definitely call this a [Music] slider I can't say one time because I mean we've already gotten two three times I don't think it's going to pick this up I did speed was great just missed it on the high side gave it some too much love but that if you're going to miss a putt that's the side you're going to want to miss it on it's bogey gave that birdie right back but we're still real far right now we haven't hit the long par three yet I don't know what it's going to oh speaking of the devil is this no that's not is I don't think yeah it is it's only playing 130 yards for me today but it's a island green 131 [Music] yards we'll do a little flyover pole 15 East Lake Country Club one of the hardest holes in the game of golf island green this hole can make for break a players round we can see players drop from the top to the bottom and with the birdie on this hole you can go from mid to top this hole is what's going to decide the PGA Championship all right 131 yards smooth nine want no part water Smooth N put this baby on and move on I didn't hit it as pure as I would like but but it should be there oh no go okay we're good we're good it was a little chunky when I knew [Applause] it all right some work left to be done here 46 ft double breaker am I see it just kind straightens out all right 46f footer oh if it picks that up I'm going be pissed I barely tapped it with my putter to set it on the [Music] dot I gave it a hit I didn't want to be short all right the speed's good you know one of these we'll tap that baby in stressfree pars are good [Music] pars stay at three over [Applause] par moving the whole 16 388 yard par 4 playing uphill though so this is playing a lot further than what it says can't put ourselves in tree trouble again like we have been on the last couple driver they haven't been bad drivers but they have been putting us in trouble there it is has a little more cut than I would like but safe as can be safe 260 all day down the middle 139 Ys to this [Music] green yeah we're going to attack it with a nine iron 139 uh probably playing closer to 142 14 three F iron it is right Miss is fine it felt like it might be a right Miss no it's a good line it's not enough club unless I get a great bounce and the survey s birdie baby let's go all right two over par with two holes to play 301 yard par 4 I mean sand guarding the front I don't know if I can purposly hit a draw is the problem cuz I'm going to have to aim way out here and if I hit my typical cut I mean it's open out there that little tree right there might come into play but I'm going to try and hit a draw I don't know if I'll be able to but I will try aim even more I'm all in on this shot I'm committed [Music] [Music] get around that tree oh no that was worst possible [Music] scenario now we're playing scramble golf that was not good at all whatsoever I hit that baby solid was the problem now we have to get out of this tree out of these trees and honestly I'm just going to pray and spray I'm going to play this about 200 yards if I get out I get out I need it to aim even further further to the light and it would have hooked right around that corner should have would have could have up Tiff appreciate you stopping in found me in a little trouble here I've been having one of my better rounds out here but it's all about how you finish so got to get out of these trees just get out come on all right we're out that's all I need it tree slowed down big time I hit a 4 as hard as I could which is usually a 200 yard carry and didn't get out I barely got out I should say 68 [Music] yards I mean pin's not really tucked anywhere just trying to save my round here and it all went South when I try to pull off a miracle shot so now we're playing Scramble trying to scramble here it's doable 68 [Music] yards I pushed it I mean come back come back come back not as much spin as I would have like have a putt for par and I mean after going in the trees on my second shot or my drive to even be in this position I would take it but there a a lot of work to be done with this putut 29 footer for far I've made a few today I've made a few this would probably be the [Music] biggest hit it just the way I wanted it to didn't give it enough love or speed taing bogey back to three over Stakes were made here mistakes were made that is crazy that Ball's stuck in the screen all right moving to 18 it's a par five 538 yards [Music] water oh way up there I feel like I could hit driver safely you know what happens when you say that right you hit your best driver that you ever hit and then you end up in the water [Music] that should be fine I got a little draw on it get through barely did okay we're going to have a decision to make since we're not way up there I think we can yeah 291 yeah never mind we don't have no decision I'm going to try and hit three-wood again absolutely nuked it once there's really no trouble so [Music] there's no OB is what I should say there's trouble bunkers to the right and left but the OB kind of out of the picture unless I just hit a terrible ter terrible shot what's up Kenny over on IG appreciate you stopping in finishing up the round got my second shot here on 18 par five no chance of me getting it there but I do want to get one down [Music] there it might be a Miss left but but not the worst Miss if it's it's cutting back yeah that's exactly how I plan to hit it all of a sudden I learned to hit a three-wood back here I've been working it more more into my game [Music] all right little 43 yard wedge shot taking dead aim at [Music] this 43 yards might be too much Club we'll see way too much Club over everything and we're going to have a fun putt for birdie I just didn't want to be short that was my biggest [Music] concern if I could get these wedges down [Music] all right downhill putt 17 ft and this wish me luck folks on this [Music] one wish me luck [Music] um here we go 17 footer breaking from hard left to right just try and get this close I hit it just the way I wanted too it wants to it wants to what can you say stress free par on 18 I would have liked to have a closer bird opportunity kind of messed up my wedge approach there on 18 but all in all three over par at East Lake I'll take it I mean there's there is some I'd like to have back one I just pulled dead left into the water and uh I think I ended up doubling that that's that's where my two over came from but three over par let's see how we stack up at the um the Creator so what ended up Luke K Quan congratulations ended up winning the whole tournament I think he plays with good good or part of good good but he's damn near a scratch golfer but who would I have uh compared to three over par um micel from good good shot even I'm assuming this is with handicap index adjustments but I don't know um Paige span spanic pige spanic two over par just under her and who smoke Sim golf would have shot even with is one of my favorite Instagram golfers Gabby golf girl of course we both shot three over and then people that would have beat not I would have beat fat Perez from good or over there from uh Bob does Sports shot five over Garrett Clark shot six over but Garrett has talked about before how he doesn't like competitive golf how nervous he gets um but there you have it where I compare me and Gabby of course of all people I like it though that is one person I would I like to be up on the
